Love this gym and my trainer Becs! The location is perfect (plenty of parking!) and the vibe is low key, friendly and fun. Becs is the perfect trainer - extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, motivating, challenging and educational. I've learned so much in my short time! Highly recommend!

I’ve worked with a lot of trainers over the years, and Kale is easily the most competent and effective of them. He’s motivating and supportive, and he pays close attention to what actually works for your body. I deal with some joint issues, and he consistently adjusted exercises so I could train safely while still making real progress.
The overall environment is also great. The space feels welcoming, and the other staff are super friendly and make a point to greet you by name. I always look forward to seeing the sweet pups that occasionally hang out, as well.
If you’re looking for a trainer who knows what he’s doing and takes the time to create a program that's effective for you in an environment that's approachable and friendly, I’d highly recommend Kale and Core Progression!

I've been working out here for 7 months, and I love it. I have had some injuries and surgeries for different joints and became more sedentary and personally neglectful for several years, which created multiple levels of limitations.
I am 66 years old now and want to be able to do much more but knew I would probably hurt myself trying to just go to a local gym to workout.
Caya is fantastic with regard to personal needs of all of my joints & is getting me back to my old levels of strength and flexibility really fast!

I can't say enough good things about the atmosphere, owner (Tyler), and my trainer (Luka)! I just have to start off by saying TYLER IS TOP NOTCH! His customer service skills are superb. He has helped me out in ways unimaginable. I hit a bit of a financial snag and he worked with me completely. Without his help I would’ve been screwed. I totally recommend Core Progression to get you that body that you desire. I’ve been going here for about 2.5 months and the price of personal training is 100% worth it! The facility and staff are wonderful. I will say, it’s extremely important to get matched with the right trainer. Sammie (my trainer) is a rockstar! She and Tyler (the manager) have been nothing but supportive, motivating, and incredibly knowledgeable in helping me reach my wedding body goals! This place instills accountability and confidence in me. The amount of progress I’ve had in such a short amount of time is mind blowing (thanks to Core Progression and a solid nutrition plan). I’m down over 6% BF and stronger. I can’t wait to see the transformation even further along in the next few months! If you can afford it, DO IT.

I am coming up on a year working out at Core Progression with my guy Sam!! When I first started I honestly had only worked out in a gym once or twice before in my whole life. Sam has a great knowledge base surrounding body mechanics and athletics and always has an answer for my many questions. I decided to sign up when road cycling wasn't holding my interest anymore and time didn't allow me to dedicate several hours a week to riding. I started training with Sam in September 2021 and the improvement I've seen in my mobility and strength are incredible. To say there was a lot to work on when I started is an understatement, but because of the staff, I never felt discouraged. I was excited to go in for every session.
The atmosphere in the gym is awesome—everyone there is friendly, encouraging, and welcoming. The gym is small enough to get focused and work, but it's capabilities make you feel like you have an infinite variety of workouts, so it never feels monotonous.
I cannot give enough praise to Core Progression. If they can help someone like me, they can help you. You absolutely won't regret signing up.

Highly recommended! I trained with Savannah Steamer and had an excellent experience. She knows a tremendous amount about a variety of different training techniques for different goals, and particularly about strength training. I made a lot of progress working with her, but also came away from our sessions with a lot of knowledge that will help me going forward.

I've been exercising at core progression for over a year now and it's been an excellent experience. My trainer, Maria, has done a superb job at helping me improve my body awareness and my form and my safety in movements (and my strength, of course!). I came in with a couple of injuries that we had to work around, and this was accomplished with care--I've not reinjured myself and now I feel strong enough to resume the activities I've had to quit while injured. This gem of a location can be a bit hidden but it's completely worth locating. I interfaced with Brooke who listened to my desires and paired me with a trainer. Said trainer, Maria, helped perfect my deadlift form and introduced me to a new way of fatiguing my muscles that doesn't always require slogging ridiculous weight around. Hats off to these ladies. Core progression is amazing! I came in with a past ankle injury and a painful recurring knee injury, and I work with Maria who is very good at what she does, and super positive, and always brings your spirits up! She helped me rehab and make progress week after week, working with the limitations of my injuries, and constantly improving my strength. Her programming is well thought out, working on building overall strength and good technique. I am almost pain-free and back to doing a lot of the activities I was doing before. And, the gym has a lot of friendly people and a nice atmosphere!

Core progression is more than your personal trainer, they truly care for your mind and body. Even though you have your own trainer you get to know the other trainers while your their and still get a gym community.
I started at core progression in January but unfortunately wasn't able to do anything after March until June when we all reopened. Even with the closures they offered virtual classes, still with your own trainer or a temporary freeze on your account of that just wasn't for you!!
These people are incredibly flexible with my ever changing schedule and checking in on your goals! 💪🏼

Ali North is an absolute gem! I trainer with her for 9 months - all my sessions were pre planned to include the ideal level of difficult vs fun. I’ve been working with a trainer at Core Progression in Boulder for a few months now. Core progression is brand new and all equipment is kept in immaculate condition. The location could not be better as it’s located in central Boulder with plenty of parking.
I was matched with Ali and she created a specific training program based on my individual goals. She noted my previous injuries and carefully tailored a personalized program so that I could get the most out of my fitness experience.

I think it's time for an honest review here (4 of the previous reviews are from employees, and this one is now from a former employee). Similar and often better services are offered at a plethora of facilities in Boulder - often available at a better price. I wouldn't call it elite personal training when their opening deal, Core 42, offers to entirely refund your deposit if you reach a specific goal in 6 weeks but sets goals that are demonstrably unhealthy to attain. Also, they made a habit of canceling classes when only 1 client was signed up until I encouraged clients to complain to management. I wish my name was never associated with this business.

Core Progression Boulder is definitively the place to go if you’re looking for a personalized experience with serious results. The trainers are experienced and highly motivated, their very contagious energy helps us finish the training even if we are convinced we are about to quit!
I have been training from a very young age and I like a CrossFit set-up, but I do not necessarily enjoy the big groups, the ambiance or the feel of a Box. The kind of High Intensity training offered at Core Progression covers every aspect of your body and truly keeps you in a mind set of wanting more.
Every piece of equipment is in pristine condition and well maintained. The bathrooms and general areas are clean, very high on my checklist! If you’re seriously searching for a place to help you become a better version of yourself, this is it.

Just completed the 42 challenge and feel great. This is an excellent gym with quality equipment and great trainers. I really enjoyed the group workouts and recommend them to beginners and well as more experienced athletes.

The equipment was exceptionally clean and all brand new. The space is awesome with a turf section and it’s a great size. I gives it a more personal feel. It was my first time at this gym and everyone was super friendly and welcoming.
