Excellent coaching, thoughtfully written programming, and a space full of like minded individuals who value health and challenge themselves daily. After exploring other CrossFit gyms in Colorado I have found CFCF and they check all the boxes.

This is a great place to find a gym community. All of the coaches are great at helping you find a workout that benefits and challenges you at the same time. I've been going to this gym for three months now and it makes it really easy to show up when you have the support of the coaches and other gym members.

CrossFit Common Fortitude is a seriously well-run gym. The workouts are always challenging in the best way, and the programming actually makes sense β€” it’s not just random suffering. Shaun, the owner, knows his stuff and brings a great balance of pushing you while still keeping it approachable. He’s super dialed in on coaching and gives feedback that actually helps you move better, lift stronger, and stay healthy.

The crew here is solid. No egos, just good people who show up, work hard, and have fun doing it. You walk in and immediately feel part of the group, whether it’s your first class or your hundredth.

If you’re looking for a place to get stronger, fitter, and be around people who genuinely care, Common Fortitude is where it’s at.

There is truly a place for everyone here, regardless of your starting point. I walked in with zero CrossFit experience, none of it, no weights, never rowed, don't run, just a slew of chronic overuse injuries from work. I appreciate that Shaun and his team of coaches offer modifications for each body & ability. It helps tremendously having a team celebrate all the victories, even (especially!) just showing up to start the journey towards a future with more strength and movement.

Shaun, Steph and the entire team of coaches and trainers are all super positive and supportive. As someone who was a bit "rusty" with working out, they are great at customizing training sessions to fit my goals and needs. It is clear that they truly care about the health and success of those they support and creating a welcoming, positive environment in which to get work done!

I was so happy to find a team of coaches who care more about proper form and training techniques than they do about how much weight you lift. Their awareness of the members while training is excellent. From high school age to well above 50 year old members, they care about us all !!! This place has a wonderful team spirit and inviting culture by its members as well as its coaches.

The whole coaching staff and community was so supportive and that helped a lot with getting me back into training. I have been an athlete for my whole life, but also had a coach, so I fell into a slump after college without direction. The coaching staff is super knowledgeable and focuses on form and safety. I was nervous about CrossFit because of all the bad press, but it really comes down to the trainers at each gym. The trainers at this gym assess your form before loading, provide scaffolds for ability and injury, and will not hesitate to stop you if your ego gets too big and you are going to hurt yourself. Before you are able to go to class you must go through an 1-1 training session so the coaches know your limitations and injuries. Also the other people who train there are nice and welcoming. On my first day there was a partner activity and someone took me in immediately to show me what to do. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to get into fitness, maintain their current fitness, or training for competition.

I’ve trained in CrossFit at a number of gyms and after being a member for a little over three years, I can’t say enough about CrossFit Common Fortitude.

From the novice to seasoned athlete, the coaching, environment and energy will provide a place to not only achieve and maintain fitness but a place to grow and thrive.

Community, an often overused word, is exemplified at Common Fortitude. Coaches and members alike have each other’s best interests at heart and lift each other at every opportunity and challenge when necessary.

If hard work, fitness, progress and commonality are what you are after, look no further than CrossFit Common Fortitude. You won’t be disappointed.

I couldn't have a picked a better place to start my personal strength training. The folks here are compassionate, encouraging, and experienced. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and accepted. Steph and Shaun were clearly dedicated to support me on my fitness journey while getting to know me as a person.

I've been blown away by the goals the team's helped me achieve in only 3 months. It feels amazing to have this confidence in my own skin (and new muscle). Huge thank you to Steph for constantly hyping me up and creating such a sacred space for me. I'm also extremely appreciative of Edi and Rachel, they push me to my limits - in a fun and safe way!

Short story long. Incredible community, fantastic gym.

I didn't realize I never made a review for this place. I don't often leave reviews, unless places go above and beyond! And this place does exactly that. I have been coming here for 3 years and the adjustments that all the coaches can provide for their clients is awesome! I am a physical therapist and in the PT world, crossfit gets a lot of unnecessary hate in my opinion. Shaun is always up to date on new literature pertaining to exercise and the human body. He can make any training program from someone just starting to train/workout to someone running in the Boston Marathon or trying to make the Crossfit Games. The people that go here are more family and push each other to be better every day while having so much fun. I definitely recommend at least stopping in to talk with Shaun about your goals!

CrossFit Common Fortitude is the most welcoming, kind, professional and community-oriented CrossFit gym I have ever been to. They make sure there is always a modification or alternate exercise for people of all levels and needs. Their dedication to everyone’s health and wellness is seen in their vaccination policy. As Covid cases continue to surge, it is of utmost importance to me to know the people I am surrounded by in the gym are vaccinated as well. I am an epidemiologist working in the Covid response and understand even though vaccinated people may have breakthrough infections, they have lower viral loads and are less likely to cause secondary infections. The ability to push myself physically and mentally (without a mask) because we are all vaccinated is the best part of this gym. Thank you for helping all of us be the best we can be!

I popped into CrossFit Common Fortitude while I was travelling - had never done CrossFit and was unfamiliar with both their gym, their instructors and the workout. None of that mattered - everyone was gracious and welcoming, from Shaun and Steph to James, who coached my workout, even to the other patrons. Everyone was so nice and so welcoming - the workout was hard, but the coaching was fair and pointed. The gym was even clean and obviously well organized. Over the years, I've been a member at a number of Crossfit gyms around the US. Crossfit Common Fortitude is the first gym I've been to where I truly feel engaged by the coaching staff and other members. At other places, I found that the more competitive gym members were less social and less inclusive with us "regular" folks. I also found that coaches concentrated more on the competitive athlet

Over the past 10 years, I've also had chronic back issues. Of course, this was a concern for me when starting Crossfit again. However, the coaching staff have been able to modify the workouts so that I can strengthen my core and back safely. This has allowed me to gains strength and also decrease my back pain significantly.

Amazing gym and training team! I am brand new to CrossFit and working out but my experience with Sessions:6 CrossFit blew me away. The coaches are very knowledgeable and attentive, which for someone new and intimidated by the workouts was exactly what I needed. The team environment helped encourage me and made me excited for the next session and the fact that the workouts changed all the time kept me interested and motivated. I worked out harder than I've done before and learned how strong I can be when I really apply myself with proper instruction.

The gym owner Shaun helped me each step of the way and I never felt like I was on my own, he is very reassuring and always had a modification for me to use in each exercise if I needed it.

Do yourself a favor if you want to try CrossFit or are new to working out and try sessions:6, you will always work out hard and enjoy it every step of the way.

I came to Sessions:6 CrossFit shortly after tearing my MCL off my femur. The owner and head coach, Shaun, welcomed me as an injured athlete and, though he had never previously met me, spent time reviewing my MRI results, consulted with a physical therapy team next door, and designed a custom rehabilitation program to get me moving again. It was predicted I wouldn't return to MMA training for 16 weeks. With the time, effort and support of the Sessions:6 team, I won gold in a submission only tournament in 8 weeks. It would not have been possible without his coaching and support. I've been a CrossFit athlete for nearly 8 years, but didn't master bar muscle ups or handstand push ups until I started working with Shaun. His coaching is exceptional- he's skilled at finding cues that work for even the most challenging minds. He and his coaches connect with each member individually- the community is one of a kind. I cannot recommend this gym strongly enough. You'll find way more than fitness here- close friends, goals smashed you never believed possible, and support unlike any gym I've ever found.

I met Kathy, co-owner of Sessions:6 Sport Performance, at a women's Strength & Yoga seminar at Wheat Ridge Cycles. She led the strength training part; was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and joyful.

I recently jumped into technical mountain biking with hopes to ride Enduros; but my muscles have been seriously protesting--my mid-50's body reminding me yet again that I need strength training. So I called Kathy, asked if my hon and I could do some 2:1 sessions with her. Sure! Sessions:6 has groups, which I'd really like, but we live too far away to make that work. We met with Kathy four sessions at the gym to create routines we could then pursue on our own. Awesome!! The routines are challenging, doable, fun. It's amazing how quickly I've had positive results--including pain going away from problem areas. We'll follow up late-summer with a few more sessions.

Kathy Waite connected with us just where we were at and was super invested in our success. I highly recommend working with Sessions:6 folk to support you in physical adventure goals!

I did crossfit before Cody and Kathy opened the gym and can tell you that I love S:6 because you can get fit and strong there without the aggressive and dangerous pressure that many crossfit gyms put on members to go do weights and reps above their ability. They also have indoor cycling and running programs that you can't get a the typical crossfit gym

I've been looking for a new home since my crossfit gym closed in November 2011. Session:6 coaches are very knowledgeable; we review the movements before every WOD; coaches emphasize range of motion versus going heavy for the sake of lifting heavy; mobility and stability are always added in the workout and we're respectful of our neighbors. It's a community where all walks of life are welcome and I'm glad I found them. Lastly, everyone is super friendly which is the icing on top.

Great place for a beginner that wants to learn or for an endurance athlete that wants to take it to the next level. I’ve been training at Sessions:6 for just over a year and am absolutely thrilled with the results.

I participated in both the Strength Training for Endurance Athletes and the Pre-season Trainer Series this year, and came out feeling stronger than ever this spring. Cody and Kathy's training programs are the real deal, and will help take your performance to the next level - all while you're actually having fun and enjoying the camaraderie of group training with motivated and interesting people.

This is a great place to get in shape for biking or CrossFit. The owners Cody and Kathy are very engaged and want to help you achieve your goals. The CrossFit classes are co-ed and low pressure they emphasize achieving personal goals not if you can lift more than the other guy.

Best CrossFit gym for real people. Owned by a couple trialthletes that got hooked on CrossFit in their off season years ago, so they can really address your complete inner athlete. Great coaches, great people, lots of fun classes and variety. Free classes on Saturday!
