Amazing! They are open late and have nice clean facilities. They have the tanning and the massage a well as classes. They are not too busy depending on the time you go. Perfect for early birds and night owls.

This gym makes a mockery of everything Fort Collins stands for. The "personal Trainer Manager guys" constantly ask fit young girls if they need some "personal training" yet they ignore all the people who could really use it. Im telling everyone at the college and my Church about this

Everything had been going fine in my experience at this gym. I didn’t know here was a sauna in the men’s locker room so I would always use the one in the women’s locker room, I thought that’s what we were supposed to do. Well the day a couple of girls who just got out of the shower got upset and asked why I was in there I told them I was using the sauna, they told me there was one in the Men’s I just wish wish I had known sooner… Crunch should be more clear on this…

the rude one that was supposed to open up the gym at 7 AM on Saturday morning couldn’t be here till 705… 29° outside. People are standing in front of the door. I asked for a Speed rope and she laughed and corrected me and said people call it a jump rope. So I politely informed her what Google has to say about it. She said I don’t have time I’m working. Rudest Jim employeeI’ve ever. Save your money don’t go here.

The gym staff are all great. The franchisee is the problem. Recent Colorado law states membership businesses must offer online cancellation of membership- this crunch location used to only allow in person cancellations. Now the franchisee has chosen to not allow in person cancellation in order to make the cancellation process as difficult and inaccessible as possible to scam hard working individuals out of money. I’ve had numerous conversations with staff stating the franchisee calls and screams at management and they are incredibly rude and unprofessional. I personally don’t like to support individuals who treat others so poorly. The franchisee clearly has no moral compass. Yikes.

I’ve been coming to the gym for five years 5 days an week and had nothing but great interactions with the staff and members couldn’t say my experience was good with Malik I think a little more training would be helpful to resolve conflicts/misunderstandings he simply could’ve said would you mind coming in tomorrow so a Maniger could look over everything and explain it better to you instead of acting like a character. I felt I was respectful and would’ve happily excepted him asking me to come back tomorrow to speak with a manager politely as a reasonable explanation. Bro we’re too old to be disrespectful.

FRAUD Be careful with the credit card you give them, they are out to siphon your money here. I had terminated my Zone membership well before Crunch took it over, but they still somehow got my info as part of the sale, and started charging me every month, without my consent. Having never set foot there, I came in to report it to them. First the answer was that there's nothing they can do, unless I have a record of Zone cancellation (Zone didn't do it that way, they did it over the phone). Next the GM says he looked up my account and nothing had been charged. Can't wait to hear what the next lie will be. This is straight up Fraud. Please stay away from these scammers.

I stopped by to learn about memberships, but the front desk experience was disappointing from the start. The staff member went straight into a canned sales pitch instead of actually listening or answering my questions. He didn’t ask what I was looking for and even downplayed their most affordable plan — as if trying to push me into spending more. It felt manipulative and insincere, not customer-focused. The vibe came off more like a sales trap than a genuine fitness community. Honestly, the old Miramont had more class — just higher prices.

Friendly staff and the equipment is in good working order. Also appreciate how it's fairly clean, other than the occasional weirdo who leaves their trash in a treadmill.
However: at 6pm it turns into a prison camp simulator, with a class instructor barking over a loud speaker in the main gym area. Feels like some kind of torture trying to get a regular workout in with that going on.
Might not be an issue for most people but personally I'd rather be waterboarded than listen to someone screaming into a megaphone in an enclosed space.

Dirty, broken, understaffed
There are constantly broken machines broken toilets broken doors etc.
The child care department (the reason we chose this gym) is constantly over filled to dangerous levels with 1 or 2 girls watching 15 kids and multiple toddlers.
I brought these items up to the establishment and tried to cancel without ever having worked out properly in their gym and I was sent up to the GM who denied my cancellation and had no response for the condition of the gym.
DO NOT WASTE YOYR TIME OR MONEY AT CRUNCH FITNESS!!!

ATTENTION NEW CUSTOMERS: beware of predatory business practices.
The most shameful of which is the deceptive advertising, you’ll be billed monthly but also don’t forget your annual fee which they’ll arbitrarily charge you instead of factoring it into the price so they can look more appealing at a lower monthly rate. Careful when you cancel too because they will come for your neck on the annual fee.
Speaking of cancelling, they are the only business in America that force you to come in to cancel your membership. God help you if you move. They’re counting on their own clientele being too lazy to actually do it. An odd ideology for a gym to say the least.
Don’t bother asking for an explanation on any of these policies. The staff doesn’t care.
One of the worst communities I’ve been apart of. Save yourself the trouble of this human glue trap. I’d recommend trying a different gym.

I accidentally signed up for the wrong gym, wife meant one thing, I clicked another. They were really kind and understanding, Liz kept a light and happy atmosphere the whole time and when she wasn't a hundred percent sure, she checked with Logan, the manager on shift. I was able to back out of my membership because I was within the allowed time frame. All said and done, if I ever move back to fort collins, I will highly consider crunch for my main gym because of this experience.

Do not sign a contract here! They unnecessarily make it incredibly difficult to cancel a membership. I moved states and they are telling me I can’t cancel unless I come in person or send a letter because they need a signature and can’t take e-signatures. Based on some other recent reviews they do a lot of shady stuff with contracts. : Edit - it’s also August and they are still not compliant with the FTC’s click to cancel law.

Gym was clean, most staff friendly enough, lots of options on equipment, not too busy in the early am when I liked to go. Overall a great experience inside the gym itself.
Then you try to cancel your membership… and in the year 2025 they require you to go into the location you are a member at to cancel… then they tell you once you finally get back into town and go in that they will charge you for an extra month, even though I’ve already been trying to cancel for over a month...
For a cheap and clean gym option, the company sure does know how to ruin all hard the work employees are doing at the facility with a complete lack of customer service. Ruined the otherwise great experience, so just be prepared for that.

These guys supposedly bought my son’s membership when The Zone shut down. We didn’t sign paperwork, but they are sending him to collections. We don’t live in a space where it would have made sense to join. They won’t return our calls and won’t cancel. We keep getting emails saying we owe money.
Editing based on the response I see from Crunch…we do not live near your building and have tried multiple times to cancel by phone. It isn’t as simple as just stopping by when we ar not often in that part of town and have busy lives. We should not have to jump through hoops. I should be able to cancel by phone or email or through your site.

I’m giving this gym only 2 stars simply because of the paper towel/gym wipe situation. I was hoping it was just the Crunch that I go to in Texas being cheap but I recently visited the club in Ft Collins and it’s the same story. THE CHEAPEST OF CHEAP paper towels to wipe down equipment with. They disintegrate as soon as you try to wipe something down, leaving little particles or bigger pieces that tore and fell all over the floor. It really makes these gyms feel trashy and dirty! And that’s because they are dirty. No one can properly clean equipment with those towels. Some ladies in Texas end up bringing their own Clorox wipes. I belong to another brand of gym in Colorado and they provide super wet wipes that work so well and are so satisfying to clean equipment with after having suffered at Crunch. Here’s what chatGPT has to say about it, and if you feel the same way, please like this review.
Ah, the old “false economy” trap—cheap paper towels and toilet paper are the poster children for it.
Here’s the deal:
Cheap paper towels? You need three to do what one decent one could handle. They disintegrate like wet tissue in a thunderstorm, and now you’re wiping the same spot five times while mumbling curse words.
Cheap toilet paper? Even worse. Not only do you use more of it, but your plumbing might stage a rebellion thanks to the clog-happy tissue confetti. And heaven help you if it rips mid-use. That’s not a savings—it’s a therapy bill.
Bottom line: Unless you’re doing some kind of endurance test or just really hate yourself, you’re not actually saving. You’re just stretching out the misery (and the rolls).
So yeah, pay a little more upfront and save your money and your dignity in the long run.

It’d be good if people knew what they were getting themselves into with Crunch. And I’m not even going to get started on how unreasonably busy they are, how they didn’t bother to warn any of us existing members that there was an entire army of additional member coming in from the recently closed Zone Athletic Club. No, I’m here to talk about how I was told my duplicate membership (which they claim was made by mistake) would be cancelled AND the 2 fees from 4/30 and before would be REFUNDED to my account. Not only never were refunded but I was charged an additional fee on 5/13. Which proves to me they never canceled my second membership. Someone over the phone today tried to re assure me that it was indeed cancelled now. But I am very suspect of that since it is the second time they’ve told me that. So please proceed with caution before you start a membership with Crunch. They e done a very good job showing how negligent and careless they are with their members’ financial info.

I would have loved to give crunch a higher rating. For the price, the amount of equipment available in combination with the opening times is amazing. The personal training services are also great and Kevin was an amazing trainer. However about 2 months after my training ended I started getting charged for it again. Since the beginning of April I have been charged $240 for services I did not buy. I’ve been calling for about 2 and a half weeks and have been told every time to call back later, call back tomorrow and that the person on the phone can do nothing to help. At this point it seems like they really just don’t care. I’m out $240 and it seems they have no interest in working on this problem. Don’t trust this place with your money.

Went for the first time today, and there was good and bad:
Pros: the staff was super friendly and helpful. They offered to give me a tour (which I declined) and set me up with a one-time $10 personal training session. I saw some reviews about the bathrooms being unclean, but there were no problems when I went in today, everything seemed sanitary and the gym was really full, so they must’ve been staying on top of it.
Cons: it’s quite overcrowded. After my 30 minutes of cardio I couldn’t even get a mat to stretch on or find a machine to use. The weight area was definitely crowded with gym bros (something Crunch can’t necessarily control), but I assumed going at 10am on a Monday would give me at least a little breathing room.
I was also pretty disappointed that the steam room wasn’t working since that and the hydro massage was a big factor in choosing Crunch. At the end of my workout, I also couldn’t find anybody to help me with the hydro massage and the only person at the front desk was being bombarded with phone calls, so I just left.
Overall it’s a get-what-you-pay-for situation if you’ve just got the basic plan, but I have to give it a few more trips to consider if I want to pay $25/month for this gym

The equipment & amenities here are fantastic- and I get that high traffic areas won’t always be immaculate- but I do wish the childcare center wasn’t so dirty. The larger area for bigger kids is fine- but the area for babies was crowded with dirty toys, and absolutely caked in dirt & footprints when I visited. Just can’t feel okay about leaving our son here to workout.

Super shady place! Also super crowded and dirty locker rooms. I am looking for a new gym. I don’t know if Austin works here anymore but I had to literally file charge backs and then a close a credit card line down to get personal trainer payments to stop. This was AFTER making all payments in the required 90 day period I signed for. I asked repeatedly for 6-8 weeks for them to stop payments. I had proof in writing so my charge backs were successful and I got my money back.

I was recently told my Zone membship was moved to Crunch after Zone unexpectedly closed their doors for good. Being from Timnath, Crunch is just too much of a commute but when I tried to get information on the phone the other day I was informed by a rude employee that I have no recourse. This hardly seems like a well thought out plan. Zone was close to $40 per month. Crunch is much less. This can't be legal.

As other former Zone athletic members have said, do the right thing and offer cancelations. Zone has closed because of bad business practices and the former members there should have a choice if they'd like to continue at Crunch or not. You are trying to reap the benefits but without being accountable to anyone. Nk communication, no information,
but you're willingly taking our mknthly payments. Most of us are not okay paying top dollar for lower tier services and equipment. We didn't sign a contract with Crunch. Do the right thing and allow those who wish to cancel that option. It's all over Facebook, reddit and now here.

I have a feeling you already know the issue, but let me share my thoughts and hope you can make some changes:
You are happy to take my money ($40 a month) without my consent. The lowest-end membership advertised is $10, with a maximum of $30 a month at your gym. Good prices for a good gym, but you are charging me $40 a month because you were able to purchase my "contract" from a higher-end gym where I agreed to pay $40. That's just bad business!
My membership is active with you (Crunch), but you cannot cancel my membership (I called the number twice). I was asked to reach out to Zone (which has closed its doors). While I am happy that Zone is trying to give an alternate option, it is on you to make sure the transition is smooth. I wish I could come to your gym without all these issues. Please let me know if you can help in a way that induces confidence.

Such A Crowded Gym!
This gym is well maintained, clean, and welcoming. The equipment is good quality and the staff are friendly. The only issue with this place is it’s WAY TOO BUSY. It seems no matter what time of day you come here it’s crowded and you are waiting for machines, benches, and equipment. It’s like the DMV where you should take a number…it’s annoying and for this reason I am looking for another gym. I have talked to many other people who go here and they all agree that’s it’s too crowded. Again, it’s a nice gym, but holy cow it’s busy all the time. Good for making money, bad for keeping customers.
A recommendation to crunch corporate, please buy the old Zone Athletic Club that recently closed in south Fort Collins and open a second location. You got a good things going but the people need more space…

I can't speak to the quality of this gym because I was stonewalled by bait & switch business practices at check in.
I'm visiting Fort collins with the intention of moving here so I signed up for a 1day trial membership online. Believing this offer to be "free" as it was marketed online, i was rejected at the door & told it was for "locals only". The representative was friendly & professional, so this negative review isn't about her as I Believe she was simply adhering to policy. But the policy is shady, misleading, & disingenuous in that it never states i need to live in the city to qualify. & since I believed this offer was free i didn't bring any form of payment when I was offered to buy a $10 day pass.
Needless to say this experience was embarrassing & frustrating. As I consider gyms in the area, crunch is not in contention for their deceitfulness.

I’ve always had a great experience when I visit this location. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. I especially had a great experience with Maddie. Anytime I’ve ever had a question or needed help with something, I could count on her. I really appreciated it! The facility itself is always clean with a great vibe. It makes my workouts go that much better. I highly recommend this location.

I have been in the fitness world for 20+ years and I must say this particular facility is amazing in my opinion. The members are great, the classes are intense, and it is very welcoming regardless of background. The general manager name Katie is one of the sweetest and coolest. If anybody wants to take any kind of HIIT class I highly recommend taking Brandi, Alexa or Cory's classes. The yoga classes are absolutely stellar. The cycling class with the instructor name Paige is another class I highly recommend if you want to get a good sweat. You cannot beat the price for the membership.

I don’t really write reviews but this place deserves one. Upon entering Crunch Fitness Fort Collins, you’re always greeted by super friendly and helpful staff who seem not only ready to work but truly excited for it. I always see someone cleaning the bathrooms and the gym floor and tidiness is a big pet peeve of mine for gyms. This gym truly is awesome!

Yet again, Crunch seems to be falling apart.
Water heaters in the men’s locker room have been broken for over 6 weeks. Cold showers are awful.
Several of the machines have been broken for weeks. The 3D scanner is, again, nonfunctional.
When is the ownership going to authorize spending to address these issues and promptly resolve them?!?

My husband and here both paid for a membership and we loved coming here, but hated that they would try to push a trainer on to us every time we came in, even pushing a scheduled appointment on us even though we had said we couldn’t. Made us decide to stop coming because they always came on strong about setting up an appointment making us feel forced into it. It’s great it was free but we had absolutely no extra free time for that. And we tried to say that, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

There hasn't been hot water for almost a month, and they have no plan to fix it. Basically, if something breaks at this gym, it just stays that way. They don't care about their equipment or their members.
Don't join this gym if you plan on taking a hot shower.

False advertising. On the website they have the first month for 25¢ for all three of the packages. Yet on the base package it doesn't actually apply. I spoke with a worker about this and they basically told me that their market team does that even though it doesn't apply. False advertising like I said. While they look the cheapest once you find hidden fees and the promotions that don't really apply they aren't.

Lots of the equipment is worn down. The sled harness is literally unusable. Also, they make it extremely difficult to cancel your subscription without paying a large extra fee. And the 9.99/mo ends up being double the advertised price after they take out the enrollment and annual fees. Not worth it, there are better and less deceptive gyms in town.

Deliberately misleading payment plan. They advertise 9.99/mo gym membership. My wife and I signed up for it. But that doesn’t include the $50 “enrollment” fee and the $50 “yearly” fee. We also cannot cancel our membership without paying an extra $90 each. They aggressively try to rope you into purchasing additional personal training and call during the evenings and weekends even after being repeatedly told we are not interested. They’re worse than telemarketers. The showers are falling apart, and some of their doors won’t even stay shut. Finally when you go in it is common to wait a long time for a machine to open up and often the machines are not cleaned and are visibly dirty.

I had a few hours between meetings today so I signed up for the 7 day free pass and was very pleased with my experience at Crunch. Staff was very helpful, the facility was clean and the equipment was in great condition. They even have a steam room!! I live 60 miles away so joining isn’t an option but I’ll absolutely be paying the reasonable daily fee the next time I’m in town with time to kill.
You need to bring a lock ($9 at the Neighboring Office supply store) and your own towel so plan ahead.

Don't sign up here.
After spending thousands of dollars on PT 3x a week 2 years ago, I cancelled my gym membership, and they are still charging me for membership that I don't use! They will squeeze every dollar from you.
The staff was completely gutted of the good people who used to work there.
I spoke with Kevin The PT manager who told me that my membership was canceled and he couldn't find out why I was being charged. Said he'd speak to the GM Katie about it. Someone called me back and told me there's a 30day cancellation policy. Okay - fair enough. Why didn't you tell me this when I walked in to cancel my membership 28 days ago? The guy even gave me a "cancellation card" saying it was in fact cancelled. You would think that after spending all that money for sp many years they'd be compassionate with a longtime gym goer and local resident. How naive to think so.
The principal of the fact that they don't care about making there people happy is the worst.
Don't sign up here.

I’m motivated to write this review because of the stark contrast between canceling my membership here and at another gym in town.
I had forgotten that I had a membership here until Katie called to let me know my card didn’t go through (my b, Katie). I had my assistant call to cancel my membership since A. I put a gym, sauna, etc. in my house a while back and B. She tackles the things I don’t have time to do.
So, I was mildly annoyed that I had to physically go to the Fort Collins location to cancel. As a business owner, I disagree with—but understand—the strategy of making it purposely inconvenient to cancel in a high-turnover industry. Regardless, the two gentlemen at the desk were professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful.
I’d give the cancellation process 2.5 out of 5 stars because this isn’t the year 1872—you could just send me a DocuSign. That said, compared to another gym in town—one that charges 5 times as much and practically wants legal rights to your pets and the deed to your home just to cancel—Crunch Fitness wins hands down. If I ever need a gym again, I’d definitely go back. Everyone was friendly, the facilities were up-to-date, and all at a competitive price

Predatory and unprofessional. I was enrolled in a personal training program (which the contracts and terms are already ridiculous but got talked into it) and put a "freeze" on the program after 90 days by filling out a form. My "freeze" was IN WRITING until 10/01/2024. I received a charge for $180 for my training program on SEPTEMBER 30. So before my freeze was over can we all agree? I got no response from the trainer when I asked them what the charge was for.
Here's where it gets good. Now TODAY OCTOBER 4th I have ANOTHER $180 charge. You can't even make this up. If you want to act like you're charging me for two weeks at a time, at least put two weeks between the charges.
****EDIT****
I drove an hour and a half one way to the location in Fort Collins on a Sunday (my only day available to do such a thing) and was told by Miles at the front desk that no Personal Training staff was on site on Sundays and that the forms are "locked up" so he couldn't get me a cancel form to fill out. I was given a generic email to contact and was not offered any sort of resolution in person.
I then contacted the BBB immediately because this was asinine business practice. I had to point out to Austin the PT "Director" and Katie the GM that NO WHERE in the agreements (For PT OR for Memberships) does it say that they need to be cancelled in person. Furthermore it doesn't say anything about not being able to do so, in person, on Sundays.
After filing complaints via multiple channels I was given a refund for one of the charges and emailed that my plan was cancelled.
I was not going to call back and repeat myself for the fifth time, you had the information to correct the issue obviously and should have handled it weeks ago.

Gym itself is fine but the subscription process itself is intentionally convoluted and predatory. During my time as a member of this crunch location, I was told a number of different things by the staff about cancelling my membership and renewing it.
First off: 30 day advance notice for cancellation at this type of gym without giving people any notice of this requirement is absolutely ridiculous and I hope the FTC’s new click to cancel policy stops them from doing this in the future
Secondly, the entry level membership automatically upgrades after 1 year (for a 60% cost increase!) and you have to give 30 days notice to maintain your original membership - if you do so, you have to pay an annual activation fee all over again, almost as though you never signed up in the first place
Staff are confused and told me the wrong thing many times about deadlines and charges. I can’t say I blame them: the structure is intentionally designed to be hard to track in order to trap people in ridiculous membership commitments and charges. If you challenge the charge, they’ll threaten to take you to collections… over a $15 charge… lol
Really greasy, scummy sales structure. In retrospect, I think I would’ve paid considerably more just to not deal with this scummy company

I’ve been going to this gym since January and I love it! It’s clean and has great equipment! The thing that keeps me coming is the classes! They offer so many awesome classes! The only thing I would say is don’t get into the PT contract. There are excellent trainers here but their contract is not so great. If you need a trainer, I would pay as you go.

Do not sign any personal training contract with this gym. Once they have you in the contract they do not care at all if unexpected life events happen and you need to pause, defer, or cancel your contract. All they care about is your money. Trying to cancel is more complicated than it needs to be, and they have a ridiculous policy of having to cancel 10 days before your payment due date or they will charge you. Do yourself a favor and don't do personal training here solely because of the contract terms. The only positive thing I have to say about this place is that my trainer Ben was fantastic to work with.

I've been a member of Crunch Fitness in Fort Collins for several months now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The facility is clean and well-maintained, with a great variety of equipment to suit all fitness levels.
The staff is friendly and approachable, always willing to help with any questions or offer guidance.
The only thing that might be a turn off is the parking situation, definitely not enough spots during peak hours.
The atmosphere is welcoming and non-intimidating, which makes it easy to focus on your workouts. Overall, Crunch Fitness offers a fantastic value for the price. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to kickstart their fitness journey!
