I initially approached DPM with some hesitation, but after just one session with Dana, I was completely won over. The instructors at DPM are clearly exceptional, and I've been truly impressed by the strong community they've built over the years. Dana's long-term client relationships, some spanning from when their kiddos were in preschool to college, are a testament to their dedication to achieving healthy results for their clients.
For example, I came in thinking my body, aged by skateboarding, wouldn't recover its former strength. While it may not be exactly as it was, it has undeniably grown stronger. I've learned so much about movement and discovered new ways to stand, walk, and gain strength without incurring new injuries. I'm incredibly grateful to be a part of the DPM community!

This is a wonderful studio and my go to studio when I'm in the Denver area. I've taken classes with Dana and Jane, and they are both wonderful and welcoming. They give great instruction, and I got a wonderful classical workout from each of them. I learned some great new cues and tools to add to my own practice. I'm looking forward to returning when I'm in the area visiting family.

I took a class with Dana couple years ago and she is very thorough and good at what she teaches. It is a small studio and Dana was able to focus on people. She teaches in very classical style of Pilates and it is still hard. I’d highly recommend Dana and her staff with group classes or private session.

This Pilates studio is the real deal. I’ve been to so many studios around RINo that are closer to me and it is so worth going to Denver Pilates Movement. Classical Pilates is an intense practice and the instructors have the experience to help you get stronger without gimmicks or injury.

Dana is the most wonderful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable instructor. I came to Denver Pilates Movement four months ago with severe neck pain. Dana took the time to understand what was going on and worked with me patiently to get me stronger and more flexible. I’ve been seeing Dana now for 13 years. I have had several injuries to overcome ( post op or just an everyday injury). She has helped me so much. She can modify to accommodate your needs. I’m stronger and more aware of my body and how it moves. I have also had sessions with Ariel. Best place for pilates, hands down. 🙌

Denver Pilates Movement is a professional, welcoming studio. An excellent team of teachers.

Arielle Barnard is a warm, caring teacher. Classically trained, her classes and privates are geared to the people she’s working with, not to an abstract standard.

She is a noteworthy detective: yesterday I described shoulder and chest soreness as well as a cranky hip flexor. Happily for me, 55 minutes later I left pain free. You would be fortunate to work with her.

Terrific teachers, space, and vibe! I've gone to about a dozen classes so far and have had the chance to work with Jane, Brian, and Arielle, all of whom are wonderful--Jane and Arielle with more classical training, Brian more contemporary, but together a complementary set of approaches from three folks who offer excellent, clear, supportive instruction. I'm new to Pilates, and I was hooked from the start in this cool little studio on historic Navajo Street. I did a new client special where I got three individual sessions (with the three instructors I mentioned), which was a great introduction. I've hopped into group classes since then, which are very reasonably priced. Terrific core and stretching workout. Highly recommended.

SUCH A WONDERFUL PILATES STUDIO
They have created an environment that is so Amazing to be a part of. The staff at the studio is so enjoyable, professional, and committed to helping you in your Pilates fitness journey. The atmosphere that they’ve created at the studio is so calming and encouraging. It really makes it a wonderful space to be in, and I always look forward to my next session. I am new to Pilates and it’s only been a couple of weeks since I started, but I can already start to see small little changes in my body.
My only regret is that I didn’t start this sooner. When you enjoy your workout, the time goes by so quickly and I’m excited to get back there to do the next thing.

I have been doing private lessons at the Denver Pilates Movement for about a month now, with the owner Dana. I have been really excited and pleased with how far I have come in such a short amount of time -- I am coming off a year and a half of not much physical activity due to four herniated disks. Dana is uber knowledgeable on rehabilitation and Pilates. I have felt safe and comfortable with her, which was paramount in my particular situation. This studio is one of the best in Denver. If you are looking for highly trained instructors who utilize classic pilates techniques this is the best. I drive across town to come here because Dana is that amazing. She has helped me improve my overall flexibility, strength and has drastically reduced what was regular back and knee pain. Dana’s Foundations of Pilates class was amazing! She is able to target every muscle in a mere hour and I really feel a difference even after one class. I'm nearly 70, with some slight back and knee problems. But I trust Dana Shriberg, even remotely. She offers great workarounds. Once, when I stopped a movement, due to a painful twinge, Dana paused her instruction and asked if I was OK. She is THAT watchful and THAT caring with her seniors -- and with everyone. I'm making good progress and I highly recommend her courses!

Pilates is the single best thing I have ever done for my body, and Dana is the most effective and thoughtful teacher, I have taken Pilates through foot surgery, torn muscles, a chipped collar bone. Dana always finds a way to adapt to injuries and chronic issues, while keeping workouts interesting, safe and challenging. I have been attending classes at Pilates Movements since 2014. I have taken all sorts of classes, post-partum trying to get my core strength back, group express classes, private, semi-private and zoom group classes. Throughout my time at the studio, all the teachers I have worked with have been of the highest caliber and have a deep rooted understanding of body mechanics and Pilates theory. Whether classically focused or taking a more modern mix, all of the classes are sure to challenge and provide a balance of strength and flexibility. Dana Shriberg is an amazing Pilates instructor! I had never done mat Pilates before the pandemic. Through the Zoom app I have been able to take classes at Denver Pilates Movement. My flexibility and strength have improved. My posture has improved. I am now very aware of my body alignment and able to correct it when I “slip”. Every class is interesting, never boring. Dana always gives her students things to think about. I look forward to every class!

The Pilates Movement is a fabulous studio! Joseph Pilates originally designed the program for rehabilitation but it is a great total body workout! It activates muscles you don't even know you have! The studio is also great for recovering from injuries. My first teacher, Stephanie Parker, coached me through a terrible injury and now she's helping me to rehabilitate. My second teacher (I go two days), Melissa Pottberg, is also great and knows how to work with my injury. The classes are fun and friendly! The owner, Dana, works hard to accommodate your budget and schedule. I highly recommend The Pilates Movement!!!
