Whether you're a mom juggling a toddler and baby, a dad turned bun hairstylist, a grandparent playing taxi, or a typical Durangotan looking to enhance your fitness routine; you're invited into our community of learning and moving. We're in this journey together to support our kids and ourselves in being the best versions of us (and holding space for each other when being our best is hard). We invite you to explore our 3 different programs— Plié Performing Arts, Elevé Youth Dance Classes, Relevé Adult Classes— and our sister studio Mancos Dance.

This is an amazing place. The teachers are kind, as well as technically expert. It's inclusive and all about the joy of dance. Kid classes are developmentally spot-on, engaging and *fun*. Adult classes are mentally energizing, physically draining, and fabulous.

Best Dance Studio Ever. The team here made us feel like family. Everything starts from a place of love and growth. Diversity and inclusion are paramount. Every skill, every body and ability is welcome.
Dancers are challenged to grow and given loving support and encouragement they need to succeed.
Absolutely love the Dad Dance they do at their big recitals. Dads are given a chance to learn a simple routine and dance on stage with their kids! Tons of fun, and it means the world to the dancers.
We’ve just moved away, and mightily miss the fine folks at Durango Dance!

I go to Barre and Pathways classes at Durango Dance. I love Miriam’s teaching style. She gives very clear instruction, and watching her precise movements helps my grace and alignment. I have done a lot of yoga and many other physical exercises but as I aged my muscles were losing a lot of strength and definition. Going to Barre class twice a week has turned back my body clock at least 10 years! I feel so much better, stronger, better aligned, and my posture has improved throughout my day for my other activities. Not only has my strength increased, my energy level has also improved. I’ve started to add a running two times a week and I feel barre class makes running much easier. Thank you Durango Dance!

Ms. Therese provides exactly the right mix of fun and difficulty to challenge and inspire my dancer. The new, younger teachers are also stepping up in impressive ways- Ms. Rose always greets her class with enthusiasm and those little ones all love her. Ms. Megan was a terrific sub for my child's class and I'm grateful she could step in.

My 3 year old son and I absolutely love Durango Dance. Right now he attends Plié and is so excited to start learning more dance, as he gets older. Miss Sarah and Miss Amanda are really great all the little ones. Perfect teachers for what they do. So glad we found this place!

My 7 year old daughter has had a great experience in the Mancos ballet class for 2 sessions now. We drive over from Cortez because dance options are limited there, so I am very happy that Durango Dance is offering classes in Mancos. Ms. Vivien is their instructor. You can tell she is an accomplished dancer and focuses on technique, which I appreciate. She is kind and encouraging to her dancers. My daughter loves attending!

This is a great dance studio for kids. Their passion is to teach dance for dances sake, not a competition.

Durango Dance is welcoming, versatile, and the teachers are incredibly competent. Thanks to Miriam's barre class I stay happy and much more fit than I would be otherwise!

Great space to hold a dance workshop. Right on Main St. Plenty of space and mirrors. We use this space often for our Tango Workshops. Our biggest size was 40 people and there was plenty of room to move.
