What a lovely studio! I took a restorative yoga class with justine and was so happy I did…talk about total relaxation. Soothing music, gentle adjustments with reiki, and clear instruction! Highly recommend this class and this studio!

I highly Recommend Earth Yoga with Shannon Paige. I found my yoga home in Colorado here shortly after moving to Colorado from Florida. I was coming off a rollercoaster of Postpartum depression mixed with a depression of moving from a state I loved. I signed up for the 200 HR training to reclaim part of myself, heal, and rededicate to my yoga practice. Shannon taught me a practice grounded in alignment—alignment of the body, the breath, and most importantly—the heart.

Shannon is amazing! Her help with body alignment in describing poses is beyond awesome. Her in-depth knowledge of how these movements show up in ancient lore and text and the life intentions behind it is incredible.

I absolutely adore this studio! I feel like from the first class I took that my experience with yoga as a whole has changed. My mindset and my practice. The space is just so peaceful. I like to call it yoga church. It transforms me the moment I walk in. No matter what I have going on in my personal life, it seems to feel less heavy after every class. I have taken class from several of the teachers there and I can't find a negative thing to say about any of them.

Shannon is an expert of the body, how it moves, how it wants to move and how to retrain our bodies natural tendencies. She is a true teacher in the way she doesn’t just move you through numerous poses- she teaches what you would learn in yoga teacher training to be able to truly dive in to each pose with a greater awareness of yourself and how your body moves.

Yoga teaches us there is no good or bad experience in life, just experience. I will share mine.
I am currently enrolled in a yoga teacher training. One of the requirements is observation of other classes. Like many things yoga, there are reasons for this. Viewing classes from a different perspective, meeting new people, seeing different styles of yoga that may not be in one's current rotation, etc. This is an accepted part of teacher training, every student goes through this particular requirement.
My difficulty lies in having to ask other people for help. I see the beauty and opportunity of acting like a social butterfly; practicing extroversion, an area I am weak. Also not easy to admit, (being weak or vulnerable), it is part of my growing process, my path.
Visiting her studio today, Ms. Kenney informed me she could not help me because what I was asking to do, (observe a class), was "illegal". However, she would allow me to do this "illegal" thing if I took her teacher training. So she will do something "illegal" if I give her money? This is silly. My first thought was whether or not cops would be tackling me to the ground when I exited the studio. Maybe there was one hiding in the bathroom, tape recording my conspiracy to do something illegal?
I was lied to, in front of other people. One of the yama in yoga is Ahimsa, and that was a hurtful conversation. To lie to me in such an obvious way, as if I was slow, or dim-witted. And Astaya, stealing my time. Knowing this is a part of the yoga community, but you do not wish to help students unless they are paying you, just post that on your website. If that is the community Ms. Kenney wishes to propagate, I wish her well. No really, I do. That part of yoga and life I understand, too. I lead this story with that intention. Different strokes for different folks, simply setting my own boundaries.
Yoga and business are difficult sometimes to mingle, I understand this. I will move on, and find other places. In Lafayette, certainly Soul Tree has much more generous people; in Boulder; the lovely and talented! people at Amana, Yoga Pod, and Yoga Loft, have all been helpful, and I am grateful for that help. I gently encourage people to try these other places, if they are looking for genuine and kind people, who also know tons about yoga and the human body. Namasté.

Earth Yoga is on of the most special places I've ever found!! The new space is absolutely gorgeous and the minute you walk in you'll be transported to another world. However, the Earth Yoga community that Shannon and her staff have created is the most incredible gift of all. These ladies and gents will leave you feeling so welcomed and empowered that I guarantee you'll want to come back for more! I feel so honored to be a part of it and I encourage anyone and everyone to come see what it's all about.

GORGEOUS new location, same EXCELLENT classes.

I've been a student of Earth Yoga for years now, but just took my first class at its new location... While the move is certainly an upgrade (larger yet still cozy, beautifully decorated, and filled with natural light), the quality of instruction has always been some of the best around. Shannon is a true gem, always weaving poetic and empowering themes with thoughtful sequences. If you get the chance, do yourself a favor and take her class!

I came to Earth Yoga looking for something beyond what I had seen at yoga classes in Boulder.

At the young age of 30 I already noticed that my body didn’t want to go into the flexible poses that it used to. I had felt pain after yoga classes and was concerned that some of the teachers whose classes I was attending were not giving me much information about anatomy and how to safely get into poses. Most of them were just guiding me through a practice, instead of actually teaching.

My favorite thing about the classes at Earth Yoga are the strong attention to anatomy and safety. The teachers aren’t just telling you to inhale/exhale and move into a pose—-they are telling you how to safely and most effectively get into the poses.

After regularly going to classes here, I have not just learned to understand and notice what my body is capable and not capable of doing. I’ve learned how to build up the strength to do some of these poses that I thought I could no longer do. I’ve learned that with practice I can safely do these poses from a place of strength and not just use the flexibility that I had in my twenties.

Earth Yoga is amazing and has changed my yoga practice and thus my life. Friends and myself have noticed that I better posture now and I move with more grace and confidence.

Such a comfy space. Shannon is an amazing teacher and weaves stories and inspiration into every class, leaving you feeling strengthened and completely rejuvenated. This studio is perfect for all yogis, especially those looking for a little bit more than just the typical flow. Earth definitely has a place in my heart.

I absolutely LOVED and was incredibly moved by the teachings of Bhagavagita weaved into Anjali Restorative yoga (similar to Yin Yoga, slow deeeep stretching with props). I highly recommend this studio for inner spiritual teachings and deeper experience with yoga as the founders leading the classes are experienced, organized, knowledgeable while balancing discipline with heart-centered living. Here is deeper Soul-fulfillment in one class than many hot yoga classes can provide.

The first time I went to Earth Yoga in Boulder was for a special New Years work shop. I was so over joyed by how welcoming and warm the studio is. After practicing with Shannon and Sarah, I knew that Earth was where I wanted to pursue my Yoga Teacher Training. From the moment I expressed interest, I was assured that I would be welcomed unconditionally. The offerings from this studio reach far beyond a guided class. I was given specific instructions in a clear and concise manner that has allowed me to strengthen my practice and learn to teach others. This lovely studio serves as a haven to those who want to learn. Shannon and Sarah are committed to making this practice assessable to everyone and Every Body. The rates are reasonable, the studio is clean, and the classes offer something for everyone.

I was originally drawn to Earth Yoga due to the simplicity of the name. We are all ultimately looking for that sacred connection to Mother Earth through our yoga practice and that is exactly what this studio embodies and provides. Shannon and Sarah have built such a safe, comforting, supportive community through this space. I have had truly transformative and enlightening experiences every time I have stepped foot into this studio. All of the instructors are challenging and encouraging, especially Shannon who's classes I highly recommend. This studio is by far the best Boulder has to offer!

I decided to try Earth Yoga because of their $10.00 classes (always!!!) and I've continued to go because of the awesome teachers, welcoming atmosphere and TEA! Yes, tea. As a tea lover, it was such a lovely surprise to be offered tea at my first class, I bragged about it to all my out of state friends and encouraged my local friends to give Earth Yoga a try.

Everyone I've met at Earth Yoga has been warm, friendly, and open - exactly the environment I desire when practicing yoga. While I've been to classes that have 10+ people, most classes I've attended are less crowded and intimate, allowing the teacher more time for each student. If you haven't been already, give it a try!

Earth Yoga is a hidden gem in Boulder! The studio is warm and inviting, and whether the class is large or small, the instructors make sure to give individualized feedback and attention to better each student’s practice. At $10 a class, the price is unrivaled, but it speaks to the principles at Earth Yoga - that what you pay isn’t as important as what you walk away with. Best yoga studio around!

I've followed Shannon Paige from the Yoga Pod to the Earth Yoga studio. Love her wit ant teaching technique. Her style of yoga feels like poetry, sometimes I'm blown away just by listening to her. The studio itself is very inviting and welcoming and cozy. It feels very authentic and calming to be there. And you can't beat $10/class.

I have been going to Earth Yoga for almost a year now. First off, the space is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. I have found this to be a place where I can physically work through movements AND also a place where I can unwind, meditate, and take time to mentally & spiritually work through things. I have found relief from back pain, improved by flexibility and range of motion, and found time to quiet my mind. All the instructors are very passionate about yoga and the styles of yoga that they focus on. I highly recommend visiting this space and enjoying all that is has to offer.

Earth Yoga has been such a blessing to me since moving to Boulder in July. Their commitment to keeping prices low make this high quality studio available to me. I leave each class more relaxed and joyful than when I came in. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and the (mostly) small class sizes give the opportunity for a more personalized practice. There have been a few workshops there that I have attended. These offerings (at a very reasonable price) are a big part of why I love Earth so much. The studio itself is cozy and inviting and there is always the option to make tea for yourself and others. The props are clean and the energy is high vibe. I highly recommend this studio and all it has to offer!!

At earth yoga boulder, as a beginner, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The class was a basic yin class, restorative. The facility is clean, comforting, inviting. Teachers are just the same! I was slightly worried as there were only 2 of us in the class total, but wow! The teacher gavr an experience, like no other. As I opened my eyes after the class had finished, I was amazed not only at how I felt, but how quickly the time had gone! I was SO in my element, that it was like I forgot I was in a studio! I would recommend this place to bwginners, advanced practioners, and all on between. I cant wait to return.

I found Earth Yoga’s 200 Yoga Teacher Training program after a challenging time in my life that left me uncertain and indecisive about who I was and what I wanted to do in my life. I had already fallen in love with yoga but wasn’t sure that someone as shy and introverted as me could teach. I chose to take on this challenge because if nothing else, I wanted to evolve and grow in my own yoga practice.

This program ended up giving more to me than I ever could have asked for or expected! This program was so unique and was truly an environment of acceptance and love. My own individuality was appreciated and valued. I learned to not just love and accept who I really am, but I learned to be fearless by showing my true self to the world. I not only evolved my physical yoga practice, but also my spiritual, intellectual, and emotional yoga practice. In addition to that I found my voice… by the end of the program I knew exactly how and why I wanted to teach.

I have found my Boulder Yoga home at Earth! I am in the SCHOOL OF EMBODIED POETICS Embody Mandala, 300 Hour yoga teacher training program and am soaking up every minute of it. I find myself intellectually stimulated for weeks after a training but am able to incorporate my new skill sets and learning immediately. Shannon Paige is a master a supporting and encouraging personal evolution. I highly recommend any and all of their offerings of Earth and the School of Embodied Poetics.

Earth is special- you can tell from the moment you walk in and sense the good energy. It is a place of caring, where YOU really matter.
Classes are intimate and personalized, and offer so much more than a "yoga work-out." If you are tired of high prices, crowded classes, and feeling disconnected with that magnificence you have heard you are suppose to feel when you practice yoga....maybe you just need to come down to Earth!

My favorite studio in Boulder. Shannon Paige's unique style of yoga and the traditional Hindu myths she shares during class is what originally brought me to Earth Yoga. Since then I have also taken classes from Meghan & Sarah that were also wonderful and unique to each teacher. These ladies have a complex understanding of yoga all the way down to the different philosophies and styles. Shannon Paige developed her very own style of restorative yoga that is done at this studio, and sometimes includes breath work to complement the class and promote further relaxation. All of the teachers that I know at this studio are excellent about using clear cues to help students attain proper alignment in each yoga pose. Some of these ladies have been teaching for several decades and it shows. I highly recommend this studio for anyone new to or advanced in yoga.

A shorter summary would be...the studio is warm and inviting; each teachers' class is unique to them, and the sequences very creative while focused on proper alignment.
