Elevation Academy of Dance offers a safe and accepting place for artistic development and expression for students of all skill levels and varying degrees of participation. We teach current industry standards and remain active in the dance community, creating technically strong, versatile dancers. At Elevation Academy we aim to provide the more serious dancer with the opportunities and necessary training to succeed in today’s professional dance world, while also providing a fun and educational experience for the recreational dancer.

We love EAD!! This is such a well ran studio with amazing staff. The teachers are all so welcoming and very encouraging to the students. They make you feel like family and want it to be a big dance family. My daughter has enjoyed her first year with EAD and we look forward to many more years of dance with them. Thanks for all you do.

Voted Montrose’s Favorite Dance Studio for good reason!! My daughter has been with EAD since the beginning; and while competition isn’t her thing-acceptance, expression, and inclusivity are!! Ms. Kaleigh strives to teach respect, responsibility, and self love as well as technical dance. Don’t take my word for it…try out a class and watch your kid thrive as well!! We are grateful for EAD!!

We're so fortunate to have Kaleigh Hinkson and Elevation Academy of Dance in our community! Although there are other studio options in town, Kaleigh's approach to instruction, variety of style options, and opportunities for competition and community performance made EAD the right choice for our daughter after her former studio closed. Kaleigh encourages exploration, creativity, and self-challenge in a fun and supportive "dance fam" environment.

My 4 year old has been dancing with EAD for the last year and it has been such a great fit. The expectations they place on the little ones is perfectly appropriate. They understand that these little ones are there to have fun while learning to take direction and everything that comes along with dance. Highly recommend as a mom to a little dancer!

As a studio owner and dance mom in Grand Junction, CO, I’d send my kids and students here if they ever moved to Montrose or the area. Kaleigh, a former student of mine, always showed the passion and love for dance along with the eyesight for quality and safe technique and training. Montrose is fortunate for her to take this “leap” of faith and open up her own studio and know it’s going leaps and bounds 💕
