Great gym! Have been a member for almost three years now. The staff is great and have become like family. It has everything that you need to achieve your fitness goals! It has a nice pool and a sauna. And to make it even more convenient, it has Bodyline Nutrition in there which makes it convenient to get your protein shakes, pre-workout or any other nutritional need! We love it!

I don't come here anymore, the price is way to expensive the pool is tiny, when I'd go in at 9:30 after work and I finally got comfortable working out in front of others on the main room and not just the female area I could here people having sex in the bathroom from the treadmill. I never went back after that besides to cancel my membership.

Great place with all the necessities! Staff are very attentive and polite. This place has a lot to offer everyone. Would definitely recommend. The only minor fault, and it is not direceted at Elite, is that can the sauna not be used to hang towels. It is small and not suited for that plus it’s hard to maintain the temperature when people go in and out for their towels.

Thanks to Silver Sneakers I'm there several times a week. Hey it's got everything I need and more. Sure some of the equipment is older but it's well taken care of. Staff is always cleaning and there's plenty of laundered cloth rags and spray cleaner bottles.

Outdated and old equipment continues to break/breakdown.

Office staff need a training course in customer courtesy. I have had a few interactions with them that were rather unpleasant.

The paper towels and hand soaps are constantly, and consistently, empty. The cleanliness standards for the gym overall are severely lacking. Due to the traffic during the day, cleaning should be more constant.

Great gym, they’re a little relaxed with enforcement of some of their rules, but I guess some customers like letting underage kids risk injury while they mess with the equipment. Overall the gym equipment and amenities suffice my needs and I go when it’s not busy to avoid people letting their kids play on the equipment issue.

Any time I’m in town I enjoy lifting there. For a town of Canon’s size I think they are doing a great job of providing a spacious gym with good variety. I especially appreciate how they have the more hardcore free weight “dungeon” area but also provide areas that pertain to people looking for other styles of workout.

The ladies at the front were so very helpful and professional, Nina and Misty I believe it was. Gym is way bigger than I expected and for a small town gym they have equipment there that some of the larger gyms I have gone to over the years do not. Free weight area also has a back area for all you CrossFit freaks lol wasn’t typically packed/lots of classes offered. Sauna could be hotter but not bad.

I signed up over the phone because I work and could not get in during the open hours. I requested a 1 month membership and then I see my card was charged $151. I called up to see why I was charged that and the gentleman told me I was charged for 3 months and not 1. But instead of him being apologetic and offering to fix it, he told me and I quote "You should have come in person to sign up" to which I said, I work and I cannot get there during those hours. He then repeated the hours of operation to me instead of offering to fix it. Awful customer service

The owner of the gym put his hands on me for deadlifting and dropping weight! He then turned around and cancelled my membership! When I called to get my money refunded nobody would answer I left a message saying I would show up to his gym and I'd get my money back one way or another! He called the cops on me! Tried to charge me with harassment. Comment made by owner below proves what I said! Go to this gym and drop weights and he call the cops. And releasing video of me without my permission to public is illegal! To the cops cool! To anyone else is invasion of privacy! Follow your rules

The equipment, particularly the metal weights, plates, dumbbells are filthy! They obviously haven't or don't do any cleaning which is worrisome, considering the pandemic. Equipment is too tightly jammed together for lack of space. Much of the equipment is old. Unfortunately this is the best Canon City has to offer....

Best and biggest gym in town. If you compare it to a Gold's Gym or you might be dissappointed but it's also not near as busy. Great pool, great sauna, and great equipment.They are currentley updating equipment and adding new which is really nice. I saw a review here that they were closed, I don't where that came from, except that the same person reviewed the same thing about another gym in town so they must have been confused. Annoying that they didn't correct their review. Check with your health insurance provider and your employer to find out if you can get a discount. Wifi signal is lacking so if you plan on streaming videos or music while you work out you might want to make sure you have a good data plan.

Take a good look around before you sign a contract with this establishment.
Machines are very antiquated. Thankfully with Silver sneakers I am not bound by a contract and can freely leave without a $150.00 termination fee.
My wife(also my care giver) unfortunately signed on to help me, but after seeing the poor conditions I went else where. She was not so fortunate, but we paid the fee. Do your do diligence before you get caught like we did. The Owner never attempted to contact us to help resolve the issues.
Elite by definition- superior in terms of quality, this is not by any means.

This place stays very clean and the equipment is up to date so to speak. There is also a womans only exercise room. I think it is totally worth the price of membership. The pool is also always clean. They clean it every Sunday so that is the only day you cant swim! But otherwise it is a 24/7/365 gym. The atmosphere is also very non judgemental if your going for wieght loss or just to stay fit. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Nice old school family owned gym. Even a privacy area for females to exercise. They have all the equipment you need, even a pool to cool off after a workout. They are located next to a supplement store that has all your nutritional needs as well. My personal favorite is that they have a heavy bag/speed bag combo. For the days running just won't do for the cardio need. Staff here also very helpful in getting customers situated and comfortable. They offer a wide variety of fitness classes as well, even water aerobics. I highly recommend making this gym your place to go.

This is the kind of gym that inspires greatness! They really have everything you would find in a big box "name brand" gym. There is a section for women only. A room, with a punching and speed bag, called the "Dungeon" for heavy lifting. All the machines have obviously been recently upholstered and are in good condition. And, every kind of cardiovascular equipment you could want. Both sit and spin (ha!) bikes, POOL, sauna, locker rooms, and a nice room set up for various classes. Great for travelers like myself with a daily rate or a small package of just a few days. Both options are available.

I'm sure it is hard to get out of your contract with them though. Every gym is the exact same way! I am, however, only speculating with this particular gym.

Like to work out early in the morning. On average at least once a week their security system messes up (computer doesn't reboot, etc. ) and you are locked out of the facility. There is no contingency other than just turn around and go home. Very IRRITATING. THEY ARE USING OLD OPERATING SYSTEM, THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A EMERGENCY NUMBER POSTED.

Place is run down and so is much of the equipment. When an instructor is away on vacation, classes are cancelled instead of scheduling another instructor. The floor in the room designated for these classes is poor and makes my joints hurt, I have heard many other complaints regarding this. I bought my own universal remote, I have to take with me to the gym so I can change the channel on the TV. A game apparently by some of the patrons is to put all the TV's on a news channel then hide the remote's. I'm a reasonable person and I wouldn't complain if the TV channel was showing paint dry, the only thing I don't want to watch is the days bad news. I've tried on several occasions to rectify these problems, but I have received no satisfaction so far. I'm sorry I signed a contract with this gym.

This is the perfect gym for everyone, plus kids 14 and under are free! As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed plus received a nice tour of the entire facility and all questions were answered. I was also given a free 5 day pass so I could test the gym out to make sure it fit my needs and received a free, one time, appointment with a trainer. They have a room for everything, plus a workout room just for women.
