About the Club

The concept is simple: our gym offers a 45 minute High-Intensity, Circuit Training workout class for our studio members. We have developed 31 different 45 minute workouts, with more currently in development. Our gym offers the same class at different times throughout the day. Every day throughout the week offers a different 45 minute workout. The workouts are created by the F45 Athletics and Peak Performance Department from a database of over 3,500 different exercises, so our members never get the same workout twice.

Please stop allowing your irresponsible members from tying up their dogs outside at 6am in the morning to be screaming and yelping as loud as possible with zero attention for 45 minutes. If the dogs can’t be calm then they shouldn’t be allowed to yelp and cry audibly for over two blocks at 6 and 7am.

I enjoy working out here. It's a difficult workout within a low pressure environment. I also appreciate the positive group feedback from the instructors, makes it feel like each class is a team effort.

I’m new to the F45 Sloans Lake family, and I already feel right at home! The classes are energizing, well-structured, and perfect for someone like me who struggles to stay consistent with solo workouts. The trainers are incredibly friendly, supportive, and make you feel comfortable no matter your fitness level. They genuinely care and are there to push you in the best way possible. If you need motivation, accountability, and a great community to work out with—this is the place to be. I’m so glad I joined!

Amazing workout for 45 minutes and you can see results within 5 sessions. This workout is the best because it not only includes cardio but strength training as well. Sloans Lake is a great location as there is ample space compared to other sister locations. And even some space for your pup outside!

I've been going to Orange Theory, Pure Barre and other local gyms. I recently started at F45 and appreciate the change to my routine. Great workouts that go by quickly because of all of the stations. I appreciate the focus on strength.

I used the awesome F45 Passport program to workout at this studio while visiting from another F45 out of state. Tristan and Lisa were excellent trainers and everyone was really welcoming and friendly, including the other members. I highly recommend this studio! I've searched for a long time for the path of least resistance for me to get in between 4-6 workouts per week without burning out with my busy schedule. I finally found it with F45 and wish I'd found it sooner. I don't have to think before/after the class about working out. and I leave feeling better every class because it's a workout I likely wouldn't have made time for. I really enjoy the teachers so far and don't feel intimidated to ask for them to make sure I'm doing my lifts correctly without chance of hurting myself. Overall, it's been a 10/10 experience!

I had a great experience during the intro week- At first understanding the workouts was a bit hard but if you ask for help everyone (and I mean everyone) is willing to help you and cheer you on! I really liked how every workout felt different- I was a bit apprehensive about the 45 mins (vs an hour) BUT I grew to love it! I love getting to be efficient with my time, and get in and out and truly truly get my butt kicked in the meantime. You can make any workout harder by increasing weights or reps which I LOVED! I didn't feel like I had to keep up with anyone, more so, we are all doing a hard thing side-by-side and it was honestly a great feeling :)

I live close to this location. My biggest complaint is the lack of consideration for noise pollution. I am constantly woken up by loud music and the trainers yelling at the top of their lungs to be heard. And If you are going to work out here, please leave your dogs at home! The noise alone is a problem, but to leave dogs tied up outside, unattended to bark at anyone who passes by is unacceptable to me. Yall have a choice to expose yourselves to this overstimulating environment but they don’t. This is an every day thing, rain or shine. I agree with a previous review that this type of gym shouldn’t be allowed to exist near residential buildings, especially an elder care home.

My building is within a block of here and their loud music wakes me up every morning. There should be a law against this.

they should not be able to open these chains within a mile of any residential dwelling. they play the loudest music i’ve ever heard all day long, and you’re met with a crappy attitude when you call and request that they lower the volume. dogs on the patio barking their heads off and snapping at passerby’s. it’s a millennial’s world, we’re just living in it.

Great place with unmatched workout programs. I was lucky to stumble upon F45 through a promotion my IKON ski season pass was offering.

Great energy, welcoming and inclusive instructors, workouts keep you in your toes. The facility is dusty, dirty and could use some upkeep. Fans with dust bunnies, carpets with hair, mats with build-up. Pricing is hard to match to anticipated usage, a bit confusing and not well-documented. Overall a solid use of time and energy!!

I really like this F45 location. It got a great floor plan, the music is fire, there’s always enough clean towels, they’ve got a good mix of time slots all the way up to 6:30pm for certain days and the trainers are nice. This is more of a chill F45 branch compared to others ones I’ve been with so I think it’s perfect for beginners to the F45 experience.

I got hooked on F45 in another city, and started at F45 Sloan’s Lake after moving to Denver. This cozy little F45 is truly my favorite, primarily because of the coaching team.

The coaches are all great in their own unique ways. Jocelyn makes your day better with her glowing positive energy and will challenge you to push hard, especially on the Ski ERG or bike. Zak incorporates great info from his extensive physiology knowledge to every intro and stretch. Tristan will do the exercise with you to challenge you to push harder and correct your form, and maybe add some humor to your day. Ana is always on the lookout and provides positive reinforcement when you’re pushing yourself hard. Ryan is the most enthusiastic person I’ve ever seen, and watches your form like a hawk. Nisha makes you feel super welcome, provides excellent commentary during the intro, and also great yoga-informed stretches after the workout. I’m probably forgetting some other great coaches but they’ll forgive me because they’re all super nice people!

Other things that are fantastic about this F45:

- As a full member, you also get access to F45 RiNo which honestly I would recommend for weekend clases, as it’s a much larger F45 and has mostly the same pool of great trainers. However, if you live in the neighborhood there’s no reason Sloan’s shouldn’t be your daily gym.
- They provide towels for the workout!
- While you should definitely show up early or on time, if you sneak in 1-2 minutes late, so long as you’re in before the demonstration completes, they won’t give you any lip about it. They treat everyone like adults here. But seriously please do show up on time, it is mildly distracting to be late.

I do have some mild grievances, but none of them worth losing a star in the review. It genuinely frustrates me that they don’t have the agility poles required for some workouts. Running between imaginary poles isn’t as satisfying. Never had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Chris, but I hope he reads this and orders the missing equipment! Also, I feel like this is probably the smallest possible F45 in terms of square footage, so at max capacity you have just enough space to do the workout, not the ideal amount in some cases. Semi related, because of a lack of space for a full water fountain, the water bottle filler at this F45 dispenses what seems to be unfiltered regular temperature tap water.

Finally, I’d you’re reading this and you’ve never taken an F45 class, try it NOW. The tagline “team training, life changing” is 100% true. Before F45 I was trying to do my own things at the gym, but I never had the consistency or discipline. Working out was a chore not a pleasure. But, F45 changed all that. The group format with the exercises on the TV and prescribed timing makes it really hard to cheat yourself out of a good workout. The music keeps you going. The coaches help you with your form. Although you won’t see any significant results without monitoring your diet, you will absolutely see your energy, stamina, and strength improve if you consistently come to F45. It’s not cheap, but it will change your life. It’s definitely changed mine.

Worked out here for a few months.. over time I think I just didn't feel so welcome or valued even though I tried to be positive to everyone around me. Positivity means you can push harder and recover faster. Don't get me wrong, I didn't walk away with any huge negative experience. The workouts began to cater to mostly legs (they switched it up without really communicating) and felt like the gym low-key discriminated against dudes. On a few occasions I heard the staff man bashing and that’s just the vibe there. You're just not going to grow or gain in an environment where there is such insecurity, and for $180/month id like a more respectful environment.

There are now two instances where I've been billed even after communicating a desire to have my setup cancelled. Tried this gym again after the manager tried to sell me into another month instead of a refund and I just don’t feel comfortable. Can’t pin it but if you’re a dude I’d opt to get your bootcamp / HIIT in somewhere else.

I like F45 for being a moderate intensity workout where you can make it more intense by adding more weight. This particular gym and others like it would stand to do better if they worked on more of a sense of community.

An eyesore to the community and the businesses it shares a building with. I attend the physical therapy office the floor above and it physically shakes and vibrates due to the music. Lots of older people attend this PT Office and it's awful for them. Also, they allow dogs to be in this atmosphere. It's sensory overload and ruining their hearing. It's a poor mans cross fit class. Do better

Over the last few years, I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to commit to working out and it never stuck. I'd find excuses like "I didn't like the facility" or "music" or "people" or whatever. At F45, I have zero excuses and I actually have incentive to work out because the trainers are all so freaking wonderful, motivating, kind and supportive. I love them all and especially appreciate Zack and Anna. No matter how I feel about myself (now that I'm in my 40's, it normally isn't great thoughts), I can see how they see me and it makes me feel like I am capable of anything (even doing a pull up...eventually ;).

UPDATE:
I've gotten hooked on F45 and took a drop in class in Vegas and down in Colorado Springs to continue training even while on vacation or visiting family. I've learned that what Katie and Chris offer at the Sloans Lake and RINO F45 sites is really really special. Not only do her trainers seriously rock as authentic, motivating and caring people (literally every single one of them - Tristan, Nisha, Kenzie, Jocelyn, Jess, Gabby, Anna, Zack) but they go above-and-beyond to ensure they take care of you before, during and AFTER the workouts. Case in point - they take at least 5 min of careful guided stretching after the workouts to make sure you don't accidentally injure yourself. They also ALWAYS have alternative modified moves in case you have an existing injury.

I took this hands on support for granted because I was spoiled at Sloans Lake and recognized this serious differentiator while visiting other sites that didn't have that level of support.

(If I sound like I am enamored, it is because I definitely am. :)

Beware the "free tryout" workouts. They will spam your emails unto your grave. Hit "Unsubscribe"? Hah! That does nothing, I tried it three times with no success! Email them directly and ask to be deleted? Hah! That does nothing, they will ignore it. Block their address as spam? Hah! Puny mortal, that does nothing, as they email you from multiple domains and even personal emails of the trainers to get around your spam filters. The workouts are fine, but their approach to advertising and spam and customer service are negative five stars.

I cannot say enough good things about F45 Sloans Lake. The team is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and always encouraging. I have felt F45 is a judgement free gym from both the staff and other attendees. Everyone just wants to get better and stronger and the staff is there to insure you have everything you need to do that. The trainers have routinely been an encyclopedia for any nutrition or fitness related questions, and they are always there to greet you by name as you walk through the door. The workouts are not easy, by design, but the variable weight sets allow people of varying strength to participate and get a killer workout. If you can dedicate a proper amount of time week after week there is zero doubt you will see the weight loss / strength gain results you are striving for.

I've been attending classes regularly since August when these guys moved into the Sloan's Lake hood. Like other reviews, I really cannot say enough good things about their team. I do think the environment at F45 caters to someone who already is in decently good shape and needs little hands-on assists for lifting, however, if you do need the help, the crew is right there to support you. Chris, the owner, is also very responsive to suggestions/improvements to the gym and sees to it that clients have a say in what workout equipment is provided so that we can succeed.

My husband and I have been working out here since the doors opened a few months ago. I LOVE this place. It is such a great workout and I love being able to see how many calories I’ve burned with my heart rate monitor (500-800 calories on average per class). All the trainers are extremely helpful and motivating and so hands on during class. Honestly the trainers Chris, Ryan, and Jonnie couldn’t be better. I also love how the workouts vary everyday between more strength based, cardio based, or a mix of both with many different time intervals to keep you on your toes. The class times are also super convenient for myself and my husband which is saying a lot considering he works a regular 8-5 scheduled and I work 12hour night shifts. I HIGHLY recommend this workout to anyone looking to gain muscle, lose fat, and get healthy.

I tried 15 gyms in CO cus movers lost my equipment and this one stuck out with the courteous free patio workouts before it opened and outstanding promotion. All the trainer guys and gals are as knowledgeable and nice as they are buff beasts and the owner also a mega beast, he is either coaching class or cleaning or sweating with ya! Im 31, been lifting weights for 17 years and almost each class find yet another thing i had been doing with wrong form before! The free trial is nice to see how to fit in a variety of HIIT classes into your routine, no class is the same, Saturday is my fav but its really cool Sundays are open too. Anyway no one asked for a review, and this was the only gym that never pressured a sale or membership unlike most places, i was able to buy classes with no hassle, its super important and why i wanted to leave 5 stars!
