I have been lifting for 20 years and I have never had a trainer point out how inadequate my form was, and corrected it in such a positive and digestible way,. Working with Cal had been a ton of fun, I have improved immensely in strength and form and most importantly it’s kept me from injuring myself.

I’ve been working with Physical Therapists and D.O’s for years to address some severe rotator cuff dysfunction with little success. Calvin was able to see the imbalances causing my pain and show me isolation techniques that immediately eased my pain. The numbness radiating down my arm is completely gone. More recently he was able to help with my right arm after fracture of my Radius and Ulna. Calvin gets to the point quick and is highly knowledgeable.

I have been training with Calvin for about 3 years now. Initially I sought out his expertise because I was struggling with intermittent neck pain. Within the first 50 minute session Calvin identified some deeply engrained poor body mechanics that I had been utilizing. He worked with me to retrain my body to lift properly and level out my imbalances. Within the first month I was completely pain free and feeling stronger than ever. Since then he has trained me through a pregnancy and post-partem recovery. Throughout it all he has always had a knack for knowing exactly how much to push me to help me improve, but without pushing me too far. I like to joke that personal training is his super power, but I truly do believe that he has a special gift. If you are looking for a super solid individual to help you with pain, nagging injuries, or simply just to help you reach your goals whatever they may be, I can't recommend Calvin enough!

No more injuries from working out! I was assigned to Calvin at a gym years ago, and have been training with him ever since. I thought I was going to get a circuit for the gym, but his agenda was to make me strong.
I'm 54 with some past injuries and sacrilization of L5 (missing a joint in my lower back). I used to hurt myself all the time from workouts, but have not in the past 4 years working with Calvin. And...I can deadlift 130 pounds!!

I am so eternally grateful that I walked into FAS and spoke to Rachel Everett. I was 9 months removed from a severely fractured pelvis, from surfing. I was done with physical therapy, but needed Rachel to get me back to athletic shape. Boy did she. After three months I walked out of there stronger than before the accident, AND with an education on correct lifting form, and stretches. Working with Rachel is a no-brainer for anyone wanting to get to beast mode. 💪🏼 five stars.

I had a knee injury from being a trail guide and didn't have any luck after seeing a physical therapist so I tried out FAS Training and I couldn't be happier. I'm stronger, more flexible, actually have a gym routine now, and knee is doing great.

I worked with Rachel for a little over 3 months and can't say enough things about how awesome this gym and these trainers approach to fitness is. Extremely knowledgeable about anatomy and fitness, work with you wherever your at in your fitness journey, and make you genuinely look forward to working out.

I could go on and on about how great this local gym is, but whether you're trying to get into shape, address an injury, build strength, or anything else fitness related that you could use some help with, these are the folks you want to do it with

Calvin is a fantastic trainer with a wealth of fitness knowledge! He has an athletic background, so he's able to practice what he preaches and really help an athlete understand how to perform certain lifts and movements. He's helped me become significantly stronger, increasing my powerlifting total by nearly 200 lbs in just 6 months. But more importantly, he helped me to improve my form across the major lifts to maximize safety, reduce injury risk, and optimize for performance.
