Fit to Live has changed my life (and body)! I haven’t felt this strong since pre-kids. Brian’s Hyrox & Group Training Classes push you to the max without sacrificing form and safety. I also do EMS with Kerri bi-weekly and couldn’t be happier with the results! 10/10 for community and connection too!

Brian and the FTL community have been instrumental in helping me to get back in shape after a tough health year. I have been training here for over a year and have lost significant weight in addition to competing in my first HYROX competition next month in Chicago. I love the personal trainer approach that Brian takes helping me to adjust lifts based on how I’m feeling and/or my previous injuries.

I originally met Brian at orange theory and he was the first trainer to hand me a heavier weight, because he knew I was capable of doing more than I thought I was. Naturally, I started training with Brian and that’s when I started seeing real results. I’ve been training with Brian for almost 5 years now. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My strength and endurance has increased significantly as well as my confidence. I also love that Brian and Kerrianne treat you like family. They throw events in and out of the gym to encourage people to connect. I’ve done Spartans, Hyrox, and the manitou incline with them. They have always encouraged a good community. It is hard making friends as we get older and there is no better place than fit to live wellness. A group of like minded people that encourage each other to do better everyday. If any one were interested in starting with fit to live wellness, don’t hesitate, just sign up, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Brian’s small group classes for four months. I had never done strength training before and Brian has been patient in teaching me all of the exercises and form. He pushes me more than I would push myself and he maintains customization for each individual, even in the small group setting. He not only tailors workouts based on your ability, past injuries, etc. but also considers how often you are coming in and what muscle groups you worked last time. Having Brian plan workouts has been key for me to maintain consistency - while the workout itself is never easy, it’s an easy decision for me to ‘just show up.’ I am feeling stronger every week! Thank you Brian for your passion and hard work in building the FTL community.

Fit to Live Wellness is so much more than a gym. They are a community. Whether training with Brian or doing EMS with Kerrianne I have always felt valued and a part of the community. Brian gets to know all of his clients on a personal level and is able to provide truly customized training and accountability. I am so happy they added EMS, this has been a game changer to me. A shorter workout that packs a punch for this busy postpartum mama. When you are a part of this community, you are family. It is truly the complete wellness package. My kids and family are always welcome around with open arms. I can’t speak highly enough of this space and the people that fill it daily! If you are looking for the best kind of community to help you be your best, look no further!

As a 3 year client my experience with FTL has been really terrific. Brian has helped my strength and conditioning to be regained like I was 20 yrs younger. Its been a fun road to traverse in my late 40’s. Brian is also very much a champion for your overall health and well being. Throughout the process he becomes a great friend to you and your family and vice versa. A++

In addition to me training here, my wife and daughter have also become regular clients! The FTL family has helped through significant sports related injuries and rehabilitation as well as overall health and wellness training for them.

Brian is the best investment I have ever made. I loved big group fitness classes before I had my babies but postpartum I was lost. Brian met me where I was and built a path to what I was capable of. Bonuses: bumpin playlists, great people, mostly funny jokes.

Fit To Live Wellness is a great place to build community, challenge yourself physically, and take a new approach to improving yourself. The group classes have a much more personal feel and Brian strikes the right balance of variation to always keep you on your toes.

There are also several organizations in the same space (yoga, IV, massage, and physical therapy) to support your wellness journey. Definitely worth the investment!

As someone who has journeyed through various fitness routines and trainers, my experience with Brian at Fit To Live Wellness has been nothing short of transformative. Brian is an exceptional trainer who stands out not just for his expertise, but for his commitment to each client's success.

From day one, Brian has been all about accountability and pushing limits. It's clear he's invested in your growth, challenging you to surpass your own expectations each session. Yet, it's not just about the push; he's incredibly attentive to tailoring workouts that align with your personal abilities and goals, making sure you progress safely and effectively.

Brian is one of the most hard working, compassionate gym owners in town. He thoughtfully creates small group fitness classes that have an individualized take to keep members safe through whatever stage of life they are in, but also challenged. He has created a collective wellness space to complement group fitness to keep members healthy and recovered between sessions. Not only does he go above and beyond to keep members engaged, but he puts a lot of energy and passion into expanding a community within and outside of the gym. Big big fan of the Brenzel family!

Best gym, best trainer! I used to go to group training at orange theory or F45, which I loved!! However once I got pregnant and then went through postpartum it was SO hard to find trainers that are educated on what you should be doing during pregnancy and after. Brian is very educated on both and knows exactly what and what you shouldn’t be doing, which is huge to me. Plus he truly cares about your goals and helps you reach them!

Every time you go to workout, you’re working out with one big family! The community is amazing. Plus you get to bring your babies with you, so you really don’t have an excuse to not workout. 10/10!

I started going to Brian a few days a week to keep me accountable and push me out of my comfort zone. Almost 3 years later, I’m at FTLW most days of the week and continue to be challenged. He genuinely cares about you and your goals and has created a fantastically supportive community. No matter what level you’re starting from and as long as you’re willing to put in the work, he’ll be there to gently (sometimes less-gently) push you to be better than you were yesterday.

To put it mildly, Brian is the ultimate "inspirational leader." If you need someone to motivate you to be your best, Brian is your guy!

I met Brian many years ago when he was a trainer at one of those "chain" places. It was a sad day when he left to start his business. We kept in touch via social media. It wasn't until years later, our paths crossed again when he decided to start Saturday morning outdoor bootcamps during COVID. Even though he put us all through intense workouts (that led to just a few sore muscles!), I wanted to be better ... and a few of us asked if we could get on his regular calendar.

Fast forward almost a year, and Brian has been my motivator in the gym twice a week (and occasionally a third time each week if I'm feeling up to it!). If you need some flexibility in your workout schedule from time-to-time, Brian is more than willing to work with you. And he is very good at varying the workout to focus on different muscle groups. That way, the same areas won't be in "pain" time after time! :)

Not only is Brian a fantastic trainer, he is as genuine as it gets. He tells it like it is. He is a friend for life ... and I couldn't imagine having someone lead me through my workout journey other than Brian!

Being a ‘retired’ college athlete—for years I struggled with finding what my fitness journey should look like post college-I eventually found that group fitness classes/being coached was definitely where I thrived.

I did Orangetheory for about four years, loved it—but eventually plateaued and was not loving it the way I was when I initially started. Thankfully, I met Brian through OTF five years ago. I FINALLY made the switch to train full time with Brian at Fit to Live Wellness in February of 2022, and my only regret is not starting with him sooner. I am stronger, faster, and leaner at 30 than I was as a full-time collegiate athlete.

With that, it doesn’t matter where you are in your fitness journey—whether you’re a retired athlete, postpartum, or just starting—Brian comes up with an individualized plan specific to what your fitness goals and needs are.

I could go on and on about what a fantastic leader, trainer, coach, and friend Brian is, but just know that if you are even considering trying out training with him, you will not be sorry. The cherry on top is that the community that Brian has built is truly the best. Starting my day off with a great group of people is an automatic win for the day. Love my FTL family!

I have been training with Brian for 2 years, and I wish I started much sooner. I needed something different as OTF was not fitting what I needed, and Brian was exactly what I needed, I just didn’t know it at the time.

I started training with him 2 days per week in a small group, alongside others who trained with him 5 days a week. I had instant admiration for those who trained with him more than a couple days a week, and would tell them “you’re crazy, I’ll never do that”. Well, the joke was on me, as within a couple of months, I was there 5 days a week because the training was just that good.

The amount of progress I have made in the last two years is something I would not have gotten with any other trainer or workout class I found. The progress I have seen from everyone training with him is staggering, and its proof that Brian knows what he’s doing, and he’s doing it right. It’s amazing seeing people in the group hitting and exceeding their once far-fetched goals. Not only has Brian’s class helped me physically, but I’ve also created life-long friendships with people there. Everyone there is supportive, accountable, friendly, and there for one common goal, which is to be better than we were yesterday.

It can be intimidating starting something new, especially when it involves physical fitness, and this is exactly what sets Brian apart from all the others. Brian’s unique coaching challenges you mentally, pushes you physically, teaches you to get comfortable being uncomfortable, grows your weaknesses, and teaches you to take “I can’t do that” out of your repertoire of excuses. He’s accommodating to any restrictions/injuries and offers alternatives to still get results. Brian’s coaching style is not for everyone, and that’s fine, however if you are looking for someone that challenges you, shows up and gives you 100% of himself to your training, expects best effort every day, helps you reach your goals (and have a little fun while doing it) then he is the person for you.

I love training with Brian! He pushes me to my goals and encourages me to try things I never thought I was capable of. Each day is so different and fast paced- which makes the hour workout go by pretty fast. When I started, I wanted to go 1 or 2 times a week but I am now hooked and show up 4+ times each week.
I can't thank Brian enough for how much stronger and healthier I feel each day! Come join the FUN!

I used to hate lifting weights. I thought the only thing why to stay fit and lean was cardio. How wrong I was! Brian has absolutely transformed my workouts. I LOVE lifting weights now! He showed me that I don’t have to burn myself on cardio, to gain the body I want. I am more toned than I have ever been since starting with Fit to Live. Brian pushes me harder (sometimes way harder…) than I would push myself, and I am so grateful for it. Further, the community he has created is inspiring and uplifting. I genuinely look toward to the work outs. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

I knew that working with a trainer would be physically and mentally tough. What I didn't know is that it could also be fun and I would start to look forward to pushing my limits each and every session. Brian has a way of encouraging you, motivating you to break through past your own barriers. I have grown not only in my strength but in my confidence in the gym. So many of the exercises were new to me but Brian was able to make them approachable, tailored them so that I could safely learn. Brian will NOT let you just do the minimum, or coast through a workout. He believes that you can be your best self everyday and gets you to show up and work hard even when you don't think you can. I am lifting heavier than I have before and I am seeing more definition in my body. I would recommend working with Brian to anyone who is ready to take the next step on their fitness journey, no matter the starting point!

I have had other coaches in the past who just wanted to get this fat girl’s session over and done, not paying attention much to anything or really caring if I was actually making any progress. After losing a good coach to a move at a weight loss program I had successfully completed, I was adrift a bit trying new things and not liking much. I had Brian for group sessions at a different gym and I sought him out after healing from a calf muscle tear and some life changes. It’s been an awesome experience. He doesn’t just coach. He’s created a community of people and friends who are a reflection of who he is - welcoming, respectful, fun, (very) competitive, nonjudgmental, and ready to celebrate all your wins, to encourage you through your setbacks, and to help you push through and “kick it out” when you just don’t feel like it. It makes it easy to show up and invest time and work in myself on a regular basis, even when it’s win to just get the workout gear on and to get the shoes tied. Just don’t leave your sense of humor at home and come to work!

Prior to working out with Brian (Bri-guy as I call him), I was NOT a morning person nor did I have a dedicated routine for working out (blessing and a curse, classpass). A friend asked me to join in on her fitness journey with Bri-guy for his small-group classes at 6am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I thought she was insane - there is no way I could wake up that early to WORK OUT?! My bed is way too cozy to swap it for burpees. But, my friend is quite persuasive and I do enjoy a challenge. Begrudgingly, I woke up, made it to the gym by 6am, worked out HARD, and left feeling incredibly accomplished and a spark of energy that set the tone for the day - crushing work, hippity-hoppity happy on zoom calls, and knocking out my to-do list at home. My general well-being, attitude, and energy levels have dramatically increased and my strength is off the charts. Today marks my very first 5am class and it is amazing to reflect back on how far I've come. I trained my body and brain to enjoy early mornings, strength workouts, and I now crave the energy as a result of Brian's dedication to making us all FIT TO LIVE !! Thank you so very much, man! #doit

I started private training with Brian when gyms shut down last year, but previously attended group classes of his. No matter the setting, group or individual, Brian is great about providing 1:1 coaching and working with your individual goals, limitations, etc. and always pushes you to be your best! He makes the workouts fun and different each time, and his music selection is on point. For the last month I’ve been following a personalized meal plan he has created for me and am already seeing results. He is super detailed in his planning and makes sure to take in to account your likes/dislikes and goals when building your plan! He is always just a text away when you have questions or need different options. Although his workouts are never easy, you always leave feeling better than when you walked in!

I have been working out with Brian for a little over a year. We definitely have a love/hate relationship. He loves to kick my butt and I hate every minute of it until it is over. I have been working out for years but couldn't get out of the rut so I signed up with Brian for two sessions per week. It was tough to make the commitment but my body is WAY stronger and my endurance levels have increased. Turning 40 was a game changer for my body and I realized how much diet and exercise matter to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It also makes me feel less guilty when I eat chips and quest and have some margs. I would highly recommend Brian, not only is he VERY good at what he does he is also good company and knows how to distract me for the hour. :)

When all of the gyms closed due to COVID, I decided to try Brian’s 3-month nutrition plan to help keep me healthy and in shape during the stay at home order. I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing results! Brian is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness, and he created an individualized plan that was specific to my body type and my goals. Within the first week of the plan I immediately felt better, I felt lighter, and I had more energy and motivation to do at-home workouts. Brian was diligent about checking in on me, and adjusting the plan as needed. All the food was delicious and super easy to prep each week. I have officially finished the 3 month plan but find myself still making all the recipes in the plan. Now that the gyms are open, I am doing Brian’s small group training, and that paired with his nutrition plan, I can tell I am building muscle which has always been hard for me to do on my own. Working with Brian has been the highlight of my fitness journey. Before I started working with Brian, I was struggling to see any changes in my body – I was doing group fitness class 5x a week. However, the first month I worked with Brian, I started with 1 class a week (plus group fitness classes 3x a week) and the meal plan. It was the first time in years that I started to see my body get leaner and stronger. Overall, Brian creates a fun and safe environment that makes you excited to show up and workout – even in the winter. He tailors each exercise to ensure your success and has great way of motivating you in class and outside of class. Been working with Brian for about 7 months now and really grateful for him as my trainer. First question he will ask you before a workout is "how are you feeling?" Normally, you would think that is just a nicety, but ultimately it is him assessing what he needs to help you with for the next hour. His agility to be able to change a workout to meet your needs is what amazes me each workout. Even in small groups, if you are injured or need something different from everyone else, he makes a dynamic workout for you. I highly recommend Brian (Fit To Live)! Brian is great at, well, everything. I have been going to Brian for 3 months 2-4x a week and I have seen a drastic difference not only in my body but my physical strength and endurance. He knows when to push you and how to get you to that next level. He can instantly tell when you are slacking (trust me, I have tried) or when your body can do more. He is also very good at keeping the workouts interesting. I easily get bored, but every workout Brian curates is different, I don't think I have ever done the same workout in the 3 months I have been with him. Not only does Brian crush it at the workout portion, but he is also big on nutrition and knows it is a crucial part of being healthy. He does meal plans and is always there to provide tips on how to eat healthier. I do have one warning - DO NOT tell him what you hate the most in your workouts, he will make you do it all the time (Brian if you are reading this, I now officially LOVE the assault bike haha).

Brian is such a fantastic trainer! He is the embodiment of motivation and empowerment, and he trains with such a great attitude and sense of humor. He is inclusive and understanding of people's needs, and not only have I grown stronger physically but also mentally! I have appreciated training with Brian so much and would recommend him to anybody!

Brian is a great trainer! He always encourages me to work harder even when I don't want to. He creates personalized dynamic workouts that are challenging and vary each session. After training with him for about 6 months I have noticed that I am so much stronger in my other workouts. I highly recommend Brian!

Brian is fantastic! I’ve been training with him 2x/week for about 6 months and I’ve noticed a significant improvement. I’ve been able to apply things Brian has taught me to my other workouts and I feel so much stronger!

He’s great at tailoring the workout to fit your specific needs/goals. Each day is different and the session usually flies by! He is encouraging, but tough - I definitely get the best workout during my sessions with him because he doesn’t let me slack. I highly recommend Brian!

Where do I start? Brian is the most inspiring, motivating, crushing, demanding, and pushy (in a good way of course) trainer I have partnered with! I started out one a week, changed to twice, and then had to up to three times a week. I have never been so healthy, strong and fit in my life and love it. He is always there for you and knows how to motivate and push you in a positive way where you actually feel and see the changes. He always mixes it up and keeps you on your toes so you are not bored or get stale. I highly recommend him if you have hit a plateau or don't even know where to begin. Being healthy, happy, and strong is a journey and he definitely is someone you want in your corner to help you navigate the path. Forever grateful my friend! :)

Brian is an excellent trainer! While it's hard getting up at 4 am to go to workout it's definitely worth it after. He is good at knowing how far he can push you. I love that he offers group training because it's nice to have other there to motivate you and push you. I highly recommend Brian to any female looking to get fit.

Brian is a fantastic trainer, person, and friend. His workouts are totally personalized and he really knows what he's talking about. Whatever your goals are, he can help you get there.

If you are paying for a trainer, you do so because you need someone to push you beyond your own perceived limits (like any good coach), and Brian consistently helps me do that. I've only been seeing him 2x week for around 3 months, but I'm stronger than I've ever been. I never could have gotten here on my own.

For me, the hardest thing about working out is pushing myself to not only lift weights but also to do CARDIO. Brian's workouts always include cardio, and not the boring kind either (like treadmills or long stationary bike rides, ugh). Brian's cardio is built into the workout itself so not only are you getting stronger, but you leave the workout really feeling like you did something difficult and worthwhile.

Lastly, the gym he currently uses (ATO Fitness) is an extremely high quality gym, with multiple rooms and state of the art equipment that you would be hard pressed to find at your local 24 hour fitness. Pretty much all of the important stuff (bars, racks, dumbbells, plates, etc) is all Rogue brand which is known in the community as one of the best out there. It's also a personal trainer only gym, so it's never crowded, parking is a breeze and more often than not we have the whole place to ourselves.

I would definitely recommend Brian to anyone, no matter what your goals are. He knows just how hard to push you, and his workouts are about as fun as I've had.

Brian is the best! Started training with him in January and I am hooked. He is extremely encouraging and pushes me towards my goals without being overbearing or judgmental. I am stronger than I've ever been and can't wait to see where I am after another year! Workouts are always different and as fun as intense circuit training can be :) I would highly recommend Brian to anyone looking to advance their fitness goals.

Brian is the best trainer out there! I have always been active and enjoyed working out, but after hitting a plateau and wanting some specific changes I reached out to Brian. I could not be happier with how he has helped me achieve my goals! Brian knows how hard you can be pushed and his energy is truly contagious. He has gotten me to do things I never knew I was capable of and it has been so much fun and rewarding to work out with him!

I can’t begin to say enough about Mr. Brian Brenzel. I would give him 100 stars if I could. Working out and being strong/fit has never been a goal for me until I began training with Brian over 6 months ago. At first, we were only supposed to meet once a week, but that only lasted 1 day before I decided to train with him twice a week. In between training with Brian, I also go to Orange Theory 3 to 4 times a week .... the majority of my Orange Theory classes are also with Brian as the coach. He brings the energy and motivation from beginning to end - both in and out of the gym. We never do the same workout and he always makes it fun/interesting. I have noticed a huge difference since I started 6 months ago - lean muscle definition from head to toe, increased stamina (run faster and further), and even more energy! I am a huge believer that being fit/healthy increases your lifespan and I thank Brian everyday for that!

A direct quote from my often critical father after I had been training with Brian for a few months, "You're looking good, kid! I might get you married off after all."

Brian is GREAT! Not only does he push you to do things you would NEVER do if you were training alone, he's good company too! I highly recommend him!

Brian is one of the best trainers I have worked with! One year ago I reached out to him to help me fine tune for a photo shoot. Not only did I reach those goals but exceeded them. Continuing training with Brian has not only kept me honest with my goals but helped me exceed all expectations, and if we are being honest, doing things that I would never do on my own! His workouts are always fresh, spontaneous, and fun. He truly loves what he does and his energy is completely infectious. It has been extremely gratifying working out with him. Looking forward to more goals to accomplish!
