Patrick takes the time to listen, learn your goals and barriers, then really watches your movement patterns and gives great instruction on how to move well. He is the perfect link between physical therapy and truly returning to the sports we love.

Started my son with Patrick last summer. He was doing workouts for high school football and I wanted him to be taught the proper form to lift. He has workouts made for his specific sport. My son got a small group of friends to join once a week as a group session. He loves what he does, loves to help the youth, and it shows. He has been a Blessing!
Highly recommend!!

I stumbled upon Patrick and Fortress Fitness when I didnβt even know I needed βthe boostβ of a trainer like Patrick to energize my daily routines. He customizes plans to meet your needs and is so creative in his approach. He has a knack for training those in sports but really can work with folks at all different fitness levels and fitness goals.
He is also welcoming to families that want to train together. He is able to assess the needs and tweak each workout to accommodate each individual. Never had that offered by a trainer before.

Fortress Training and the owner/trainer Patrick are the best! To better understand my whole-hearted endorsement of Fortress Training I need to share a bit of my background. I'm in my late 60's and have a lower back issue. Not severe enough for surgery but was getting close and greatly effecting the quality of my life, especially when I walked which was both painful and awkward. I thought the last thing I needed was weight training but my son, who had been going to Fortress Training for several months, talked me into a trail session. I was immediately impressed with Patrick's professionalism, breath of knowledge of training techniques vs various issues (such as my back), the way he explains why he is using certain exercises, and just his general, easy-going, optimistic demeanor. He was confident that he could improve my back through a combination of weight lifting, strength training, flexibility exercises, sled work, rope work, etc. And he was right! I've now been at it about a year and it's made a HUGE difference in the quality of my life. I can now walk comfortably and am all-around stronger and in better shape than I've been in years. And it's fun believe it or not. Patrick has so many different techniques and exercises and he does such a great job of mixing things up it's always fresh. Bottom line is I can not recommend Fortress Training highly enough!

Fortress Training is one of the best gyms out there. Patrick tailors his workouts to your personal goals, whether they be endurance, strength, flexibility, specific activities like hiking or sports, weight loss/gain, or more.
I've been going for about a year and both he and Chayse are insanely knowledgeable and fun to work with, making each session feel fresh and worthwhile. Their facility and equipment are high quality and you get a personal touch missing from group workout facilities and programs for a great price considering the attention involved.
Great for people of all ages and fitness levels. I have older family who started working with Patrick and all their back problems and instabilities have virtually disappeared thanks to his tailored training, allowing them to avoid surgery.
Patrick also gave me great advice on bulking, which allowed me to gain mass in a healthy manner then cut back to muscle, getting me closer to a desired physique and strength level.
They are also a family-run gym, and you can see their passion and love for their profession in every aspect of how they operate. Would recommend to anyone looking to get healthier.

Chayse is a one of a kind trainer. Personable, encouraging, optimistic, motivational and truthful. He really does what he says he can do for you.
Especially in the realm of sports. Taking athletes to a new level, and being there for every bump and bruise. He teaches all his athletes about being functional, and stressing the point that he will be there for you the whole time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fortress' trainers have worked with me for almost 3 years. They have helped me lose weight (more importantly inches) and gain physical and mental strengthen I would have never dreamed of achieving. Their expertise in the human body (muscle, joint, and overall health) is above and beyond. They listen to my aches & pains (I am 48 but feeling much younger) as well as my desire to gain muscle for a better physique and ability.
I now have them working with my 17 year old daughter and 7 year old son up for training. The teenager is building muscle and hoping to someday compete. In the meantime she is gaining cognitive abilities and overall wellbeing of body and mind. My 7 year old is gaining cognitive abilities (spirited and busy little guy) and conditioning for various sports.
I strongly recommend this company for any age, ability, and able bodied human!!!
The studio's one on one approach allows individuals to receive a personal well rounded workout in a clean and well kept environment!
