I worked with Zach as a personal trainer over the summer and he was great! He created a wonderful plan for me to meet my strength and functional training goals, while balancing overall health. Zach is always encouraging and never overbearing. I would definitely recommend him to anyone as a trainer!

We were informed we were no longer on my husbands previous employer membership.
ok no problem. Because he did not return the call to say yes or no to a private membership, they charged us the amount as if we were still on the previous employer even though they told us we weren't. THEN they charge us an 'annual' fee!! What the heck! Unethical at its best form!
We were warned about them doing such things!

We signed up with Silver Sneakers but the filth and no upkeep sent me elsewhere. It’s a shame because I belonged to the Fort Collins Clb for years and it was outstanding. I tried to cancel my membership as I don’t want the SS program to continue paying for such slop. Guess what…no dice.

Waleed El-Chaer is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also truly uplifting to be around. He creates such a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that makes working toward your fitness goals feel exciting and achievable. Every session is something to look forward to, and he never fails to make you smile. Truly one of the best trainers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Also, don’t challenge him to a 1v1, his midrange jumper is deadly

I frequent all the Genesis gyms but this I call my own due to location. It’s a bit old and constantly under repair of some sorts but it has the amenities, good equipment, great personal trainers, and polite staff. FYI- the hot tub is better on the south end.

Whoa, what an exceptionally positive experience! I'm visiting Ft. Collins with a friend and stopped by to get a workout in. I have an app that lets me pay for gym passes, but I arrived later to the gym and the front desk wasn't familiar with my pass. Nina was working the front desk and she treated us like VIPs. She knew we were only there for the day pass and STILL gave us a tour and made us feel very welcomed. I'd 100% join this gym -it was clean, well kept, and the service is 6 stars!

Unprofessional Staff and Unjust Charges
I canceled my membership at Genesis Health Club in Fort Collins back in May 2024, yet they have continued to charge me monthly. I’ve tried addressing this issue multiple times, but it still hasn’t been resolved.by the manager Michael. Every time I speak with him, he is incredibly rude and unprofessional. He lacks basic customer service skills and seems uninterested in helping resolve the issue. I talked again this morning with one of the bank employees to ask them again (for third time) to stop the charges. I canceled because the towels were with many holes, jacuzzi really dirty, no shampoo and soap on the showers.
I do not recommend this location. If you’re considering signing up, be very careful — especially when it comes to canceling your membership.

I visit Fort Collins club usually once a week I am rarely greeted by the front desk person and rarely am I spoke to when I leave. Today was just over the top with the aesthetics of the pool area and how dirty it is the area around the pool had standing water and what looks to be mold and a pile of dirt next to a broom with the trashcan that is unsightly along with looking into the kitchen area which looks cluttered.

It is a great all in one place with two additional branches you can visit.

The facility is not ultra modern, but it is not dated either. Some areas could use a quick fix, yet everything stays within an acceptable range. We ran into several logistical issues.

The front desk staff always seem new and rarely have answers. Their cloud based system keeps failing with glitches and frozen screens at every station, from the manager computers to the tablets. On top of that the internet has been awful for the past two weeks. There is no phone signal inside, so reliable wifi is essential for anyone who needs to remain reachable.

The first time we used the pool it was extremely dirty. Staff said a large party had taken place the day before. They offer free coffee, which is nice, but an early morning pool class empties the machine. After around nine, no coffee remains.

Most problems are logistical. They use UniFi gear, so a simple configuration review or a slightly faster internet plan could ease the burden on the front desk and managers who end up writing prices on sticky notes to show us all the benefits.

The pool could be scheduled for a deep clean right after big events or closed until it is ready.

The gym has every machine you can think of and outstanding instructors if you want private sessions (complementary payment).

I would rate the place three stars, but the friendly staff balances out the logistical headaches. It feels like management only needs to sit down for a couple of hours, work through these issues, and the experience would improve for everyone (customers and employees).

In a perfect world my routine would be to arrive at 9 with my wife , finish my workout in 45 minutes, then sit at a table, sip a coffee, and answer emails while waiting for her class to end. Right now that is not possible.

Wifi is unreliable, tables fill up with people coming from the pool class that looks like they use that place as a hangout point (I guess that cant be fixed), and there is no coffee.

Of the four reasons I joined, only one is currently working.

I still hope they will sort this out before long.

Gym is nice, staff are friendly. However many of their services or machines are often broken with significant delays in repairs. They take little responsibility when you pay an excess for services that often don't resolve. They had no hot water for 1-2months in the middle of winter and still charged +100$ for membership. It's a nice place for the convenience of location but if you are hoping to simply work out, don't count on all the additional benefits genesis has to offer, you'll pay too much for too little.

I think three stars is a little generous and 2.5 would be spot on. Over priced, but it’s the closest so I like the convenience. Price gouging is a practice here. Who charges more than a gas station for a bottle of muscle milk? Anyways, on second thought, 2 stars is more accurate. Recent reviews should be taken into consideration.

Lots to like about the club - free coffee, lots of classes with great instructors, free towel service and towels are quite available, staff is friendly, plenty of equipment and space. I am personally okay with the amount I pay per month. There is plenty that needs attention too though. Water pressure in men's showers has become poor in the last few months. Hot tub consistently has issues (its main problem is how it was built, feels DIY rather than professional because the jets splash water into the air because they are positioned too high in the hot tub). If equipment is down anytime between October and December, it stays broken until the new year rolls over. Elliptical machines are breaking down and are very dirty, looks like they have not been cleaned in a very long time (the owner responded to another review concerning the cleanliness of the equipment a month ago saying cleanliness is a priority, but nothing has been done to clean the elliptical machines). I agree with some other comments, little things that are the result of increasing profits at the expense of customer experience have increased since Genesis took over ownership. Just a few minor tweaks would improve the quality of the experience.

Decent place but I think every membership should come with a tool kit as the equipment is falling apart faster then they can fix it and they don’t seem to have a real plan on maintaining anything.

I've been a member for a couple of years and have always enjoyed working out here. However, I find it absurd that one of the most popular gyms in Fort Collins, which charges their customers as much money as they do, can have SEVERAL of their most popular machines broken at one time. Further, the dry sauna is down at least once a month, which is one of the biggest appeals for me at this gym. Unfortunately, I will be re-considering my options in the future.

I went in today to cancel my membership due to an unexpected, last-minute move out of town. I was informed that I would still be charged $140.00 for next month's membership based on the terms of the original agreement I signed. I was told, “You should’ve come in last month to cancel.” Unfortunately, I only found out today that I have to relocate. The rigid enforcement of this policy under such circumstances feels predatory, and the lack of empathy for people facing sudden life changes is both disheartening and disappointing.

Pretty, nice gym. They just had a transfer of ownership. They are a bit expensive, and they use pretty aggressive sales tactics, but other than that, it's worth taking a look at. They have lots of classes and personal trainers that are additional to the flat monthly or yearly rate. Also indoor and outdoor pool. Don’t go if your looking for a nice hot tub because it’s awful.

Facilities are constantly down. Showers were down for three full weeks. No hot showers, none! Then once that's fixed, their sauna is broken.

Most expensive club in Fort Collins and constantly has facilities down. I've requested my month refunded and all management has done is jump around the question and never do the right thing. Looking at you Mariah Bryant, your gym is failing.

EDIT: Check out the attached response. They admit to not having hot running water for half the month, but won't refund dues but want to offer an inflated self service to accommodate.

NEVER JOIN THIS CLUB!

The Fort Collins Club was once a valued part of the community, but since Genesis took over, it feels more like a business focused solely on profits rather than its members. They oversell memberships beyond capacity and rely on fine-print contract terms to justify questionable billing practices. Be sure to read the agreement carefully before signing—some terms allow them to charge you even when you're not getting value. Fortunately, there are locally owned gyms that prioritize relationships over revenue. Consider supporting them instead.

What an incredible experience! I visited this gym with my daughter during a recent visit. We enjoyed the floor pilates class with Michelle and used the walking track. The dressing room was clean, spacious and had all the amenities needed. Although we did not have time to use the equipment, it appeared every type of equipment ever invented was there! I loved the family atmosphere and the laid back vibe.

**UPDATE**
Checked out a couple different gyms and decided on Crunch for 1/3 the price of this gym. Stopped to cancel here on my way home, turns out that the “30 day cancel notice” isn’t 30 days from when you’re charged, it apparently has to from the 1st of a month and the whole month then on regardless of when you’re charged. So even though I’m cancelling before my Feb payment, they’re charging me for March as well 😂, so be aware of the money grab on your way out. In addition, the kid I was cancelling with asked why and I said crunch is cheaper, to which he bashed it for “outdated equipment and a really dirty gym” to try to keep me here. Went there right before, it was spotless and they had janitors hired JUST TO CLEAN, and the equipment looked pretty nice to me. So that was ironic coming from a gym with outdated equipment that doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in years…. Nothing against the people that work here, they’re great, seems more like upper management(CEO/Owner) for the reason this place isn’t great and overpriced

Honestly the only reason I come here is due to lack of options. 90$ for a gym membership is insane considering the condition of the gyms. North side is disgusting and looks like nothings been cleaned in years, out of date equipment, the pictures online must be from when they first opened, and the one thing that would make that location worth it(rock walls) will cost EVEN MORE because of course that’s not included. The one on prospect also looks like they’ve never had someone clean a piece of equipment in the existence of the gym, they take up the entire basketball court for classes, equipment is also out of date. Where does all the money go from the insane prices we pay?! Sure as hell isn’t going to people paid to clean, or updating equipment that’s for sure. Hopefully golds or chuze moves up here soon because these gyms are pretty gross

If they are lying and don’t reset it, then the staff are just liars and that’s not good either!

The best gym I've been to. It's clean well equipped for just about anything you want or need. Mariah and Julio are amazing. They make sure you feel welcome and well attended to. Coffee......well it's Coffee but they do make amazing shakes. They also have adult drinks and food. It's not like any other gym I have visited. I bought my membership 3 years ago but just recently started going lol. I'm glad I did. With the gym being so appealing it's helped me show up and I've almost achieved my fitness goals. Thank you guys. I would definitely recommend!

Very Shady place. You get different prices depending on which location you go to for the same exact plans.Sales people are shady too.

I must say that I do really enjoy going to this gym. It has everything I’d need.

At times the gym doesn't seem very clean. This is probably because of the amount of people that are going to this place.

They appear to be overselling memberships for the prospect road location :
1)the gym can be so crowded that you have to wait for any bench or machine. There are plenty of cardio machines though
2) the entire parking lot and overflow lot are full and people circle waiting for others to leave.

I wouldn’t recommend this gym if you plan on going right at 5pm.

Very displeased with services and amenities. I bought a membership because they have a basketball court. I kid you not, ALL TIMES BUT 1 the court was taken up by activities the gym has going on. I understand activities like this are important, but I listed the main reason to signing up as the basketball court, so you’d think they’d offer a schedule right away or print one off for you but they don’t. I had to ask for a schedule after coming in for the 6th time and seeing the court occupied.

The other big issue was trying to change my payment method. I went in person to fill out a form 1/2 way through the month to change my billing information to another bank account and it was never switched. This caused my old bank account to go negative and give me an overdraft fee. I told them this and they offered absolutely NOTHING to fix the situation, and when I went to talk to a manager about it, the person at the desk had me fill out the SAME FORM and had a financial person CALL me rather than talking to them in person.

I would rather go to the community center and pay 5 dollars every day to workout because the amenities they offer are almost always available. I paid almost TRIPLE the price every month to switch from my old gym to this one, and I’m wishing I didn’t.

Hopefully they see this and improve on it, but unless I am reached out to for a resolution I will strongly advise people to avoid this gym.

This gym does some very shady stuff. I purchased a package for their trainer and when the trainer quit because she was docked pay for a customer that had a heart attack and couldn't finish his package (apparently they share some of the fee with their trainers) they never reached out to switch trainers for me. In January of 2023 I tried to cancel my membership and knew I had to give 30 days notice. I emailed them and then called in. They told me I had to go in and fill out a paper. I did that and thought I was cancelled. The account that they were drawing from was a savings account that I use for vacation funds and that's it. I did not monitor the account and just went on a vacation and looked at my account and found that they had been charging me for the last year. I sent them the proof of the 30 day notice cancelation but they said they "couldn't find" my cancelation. They said now they will charge me until February.

Variety of equipment options including spin room, yoga, lots of classes, indoor and outdoor pool, racquet ball and basket ball courts.
The kids club is pretty good too.

The owners are so shady that the FBI has had to do wire tapping investigations on them, and I’ve heard horror stories about trying to cancel your membership, so the fact that we love going here is saying something. It’s definitely expensive, so it may not be worthwhile if you don’t go very consistently. But it offers pretty much everything you could want from a gym. The range of equipment is great and compared to other gyms I’ve been to, pretty well-maintained. There’s a huge variety of classes offered each day. The yoga in particular is incredible, which is rare for a gym. Having childcare (for an extra cost, but it’s very reasonable) is a game-changer. The people who work there are nice. The hours are good. We look forward to going each day. Compared to comparable gyms nearby, the weight area and class offerings are better. So okay Rodney Steven, you can have our money.

Heads up canceling your membership is a big pain and mine just happen to coincide with a 6 month payment I didn’t know about? Had to cancel in person by the way and sign a bunch of papers. Had to pay for a month I didnt use (have to cancel 30 days in advance), and an extra $40 charge for membership renewal even though I was cancelling. You would think with the amount of money they charge monthly they could accommodate people a little better but I was told there is nothing they can do. Also staff seemed to have little understanding of the cancellation process and it took way more time than was necessary.

Been coming here for about a year now and can comfortably say I am highly disappointed in this gym.

Not only is it one of the most expensive fitness clubs in FoCo, but they also seem to have the most broken equipment or facilities also. Not to mention a basketball court that is barely functional with all the dead floor board spots.

You would expect the facilities and equipment to be top notch with a monthly payment of $100 or more, but you will come to find outdated equipment that is constantly broken by careless college students.

At least weekly you can also count on one or all the facilities to be under maintenance or just broken, which is super frustrating when the facilities help with your rehab. When you ask a front desk worker for help or give them feedback you will likely be greeted with an "Ok" and nothing more.

The members that go to the gym are about the only thing keeping me there, everyone is extremely nice. So I guess that is a Pro of the gym.

All in all, pretty disappointed with Genesis and the overall package I was told I'd be able to access at the gym...good thing the weights can't be broken I guess.

Been coming to Genesis regularly for over a year to work with a personal trainer, Ben, though we all call him Trauernicht. I really like it at Genesis--the vibe is friendly and people are extremely chill. What's kept me coming back, though, is those trainers. Ben fixed my ankle after I put it through hell doing 1500 miles of backpacking in one season. The next season I was back on trail HITTING it. The other hikers were so sore, but all the isometrics Ben did with me meant that I recovered fast with almost no pain. He changed my life and taught me so much! The other trainers there are super great too! Worth every penny to me!!!!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Genesis and their Personal Training team, especially the new Fitness Manager Ben Trauernicht.

I have been training with Ben T. for several months now. At 34, I’ve tried and failed to push myself solo, again and again. I finally decided to seek professional help, and I need to say, from my very first session with Ben he’s made me feel both safe and inspired.

Ben started me off slow, focusing on a healthy and sustainable foundation. With his help, I know I’ve made the kind of progress I’ve tried and failed to achieve on my own.

The BIGGEST impact Ben has had, is helping to guide me on the correct and safe forms of working out. It’s something streaming workouts and online guides just couldn't do for me.

I’m confidently working out on my own now, and while I’ll still be training with Ben and his trainers to pursue my goals, I know I’ve also hit that point where I can workout on my own with confidence in my form and no pain in my joints.

Quick note on the atmosphere: I don’t know about the politics of Genesis as a major corporation. However what I can say, is that Ben and his fellow team members are a bunch of wonderful souls. As an introvert I’m an “eyes to the ground” sort of person, I’ve worked past that initial terror of meeting new people and now all I see is a bunch of welcomes smiles and a safe encouraging environment.

Sorry for the long post, but Ben’s given me his time and this message is the simple truth.

I am extremely disappointed with Genesis Health Club in Fort Collins. Despite its high membership cost, the experience has been consistently underwhelming.

Old Equipment: The gym equipment is outdated and often in disrepair. Many machines are rusty and squeaky, making workouts more of a hassle than a pleasure. I was told at sign up that there is a yearly fee of 50 USD for updating equipment (This just seems like another way to take my money)

Poor Scheduling: The scheduling for classes is a mess. The online class registration does not get enforced, if you register for a class you may not get a spot in the studio.

Very Expensive Membership: For the price we pay, I expected top-notch facilities and service. Unfortunately, neither has been delivered. The membership fees are exorbitant and certainly not justified by the quality provided.

Dirty Bathrooms and Steam Room: The bathrooms and steam room are often filthy. Despite numerous direct complaints, there has been no improvement. The cleanliness standards are simply unacceptable for a health club.

I had high hopes for this club, but it has consistently failed to meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend Genesis Health Club in Fort Collins to anyone.

As such, I am editing my prior review, because in the end, although the first customer service response was pretty shocking, the company did the right thing in the end and that is respectable. Just be sure to read ALL PAPERWORK if you sign up for any deals, to be fully aware of limitations in the fine print.

I was told two prices when I signed up - $85/mo for a year contract or $93/mo for month to month. For 6 months I paid $93/mo and when I tried to quit they told me I had a year long contract. The staff at the front desk admitted that the person who signed me up was new at membership and young and incompetent, but I was still made to pay $100 buyout fee to end my “contract.”

The weights area is decent enough. I primarily joined for the pool though, which is unfortunately disgusting. The water is murky to the point that you can't see more than 20 ft, the bottom is filthy, and there's a bunch of nasty stuff just floating around. It was pretty disappointing.

I really liked this gym, the staff seemed welcoming and helpful… the only issue I have is when I come in to workout on the weekends. I typically go between 5:30-6:00 on the weekends. I like going later because the gym is less packed and I enjoy getting a fluid workout in without having to wait for machines etc… when I walk in, I’m not greeted with a warm welcome, I am greeted with “just so you know we close at 7”… at first I thought maybe it was a courtesy reminder… but then I started getting interrupted by the person at the front desk in the middle of my workouts that I have “15 minutes left”, followed by light flickering, then followed by the staff walking by holding up 10 fingers to let me know there is now 10 minutes till close. Do y’all think i’m a toddler who has no concept of time? This isn’t something that has happened once or twice, this has happened every weekend. I never have this issue on weekdays, even if I go in at 8:30-9:00. I don’t know if management instructs the front desk people to do this, or if they’re eager to get out of there? I’m always well aware of the time, there’s clocks everywhere. The hours are also posted at the front so I know when genisis closes. I make sure to put back any equipment I use, and I’m always out of there 5 mins before close. They also do this to everyone else that is there during these times, & I can see that I’m not the only one being made to feel uncomfortable or rushed. It feels like it’s an inconvenience for me to come in during hours of operation. I signed a contract with genisis that I thought was a mutual agreement and those were the hours I was welcomed to use. I’m not feeling very welcomed. Thinking of canceling, I’m sure there’s other gyms that don’t micromanage their paying customers time.

I went in and signed up for the 7 day free trial but all I wanted to was have one workout with my friend since I was visiting for the weekend. I thought it was a simple request and usual for people to test it out without having to commit, I don’t even live here.
They said they don’t allow out of town folks to work out with them?? Sounds culty to me…
Alas, they let me in and I had a wonderful back and bi workout. The equipment was to my standers and seemed cleans. Lots of kids, people were friendly and I loved the sauna. All for the price of a google review.
Thank you.

I think this place is great! The staff are super friendly and there's classes for everyone. I feel like I can really get my money's worth with them. My only critique is the food. 19 bucks of you count the type for a really watered down protein shake and a tiny Cesar wrap. I recommend only getting snacks if you're going to eat here. Otherwise, I love it!

This is a NICE gym, with all the amenities one could want. The staff working there don't know what one another is doing at any given time, however. There doesn't seem to be a schedule for the people working there that all have access to. When you walk in the front door there's a lot of flapping about and people wandering around, not knowing who or where the person is you're meeting with. And if you need to reschedule with a person, good luck getting that done through the front desk - they say they've rescheduled it, but the person you're supposed to be meeting with has no idea it's been rescheduled and you arrive to NO person. For as much as you pay per month, it's tough that the office staff isn't on the ball and doesn't know what is going on.

I am very displeased with Genesis. I went there because of my limited income, and was told it was month to month! Not so! I never had a chance to even use their facility once and been charged automatically out of my account! Then, I was told twice mins you, on the phone when I called to cancel, that I had to go in before the first of the month, so I did on December 28th, signed a paper, and then I was still taken for $89!!!!!😡 I should’ve stuck with Crunch!!!! Just letting you all know!

The absolute worst customer service in the fitness industry. Beware, you are charged a full month membership fee, when you want to cancel. You will also be hung up on by membership if you don't want to put your membership on hold for another fee. I would encourage you to take the time to check out the many other clubs that offer clean gyms, professional and friendly staff and equal to the level of fitness classes and equipment. The employee turnover is tremendous, and that is a HUGE RED FLAG

The difference between this place and other similar gyms: A liquor (I don't even know her) bar, a 20x10 hot tub (that's nice for loosening the pecs after taking the 130s for a ride on the incline), 4 lane pool for lap swimming (that I don't use), and the outdoor sand volleyball pit (should be used for fighting). So it's a spendy-ish membership compared to other gyms...but other gyms don't have a liquor bar. Talk to Val for the details she's the sweetest.

I’ve been to all of the gyms in Fort Collins. Genesis was the first gym I started a membership with when I moved here three years ago. After one year I decided to go to the other local gyms just to try them out and I soon realized how much Genesis has to offer compared to everything else that’s around. So I decided to restart my membership and am not going anywhere! This gym is absolutely the best gym in Northern Colorado.

I have been a member for about a year and a half and informed the team that I was going on a deployment for 6 months. Instead of being understanding of my military obligations, they told me that I would have to pay a monthly fee to hold my current membership and monthly contract. My student loan payment is even differed while being on a deployment. I am shocked that an organization doesn’t offer understanding to those serving down range by simply pausing the membership. I will not be keeping my membership any longer and I was still charged for two months even though I gave one months notice.

I hate to be one writing a negative review on a place that initially really excited me. However, at the end of the day, the expectations that the Genesis team met when signing up were not met.

I wanted to do my “free workout” to feel out of the gym. After recommendations from friends and encouragements about their pricing, it came to my surprise that my “advisor” of sorts sat me down to have a 30+ minute conversation (that felt like a lecture) about joining. I asked about a matched rate that my friends had bragged about. He seemed threatened that I would dare to bring up a lower rate and made me feel like I was out to scam the gym (as he told me was down many times before). Timid and pressured, I signed the contract.

I was most excited about the pool for lap swimming. No one told me it would be ridiculously challenging to reserve a lane at a reasonable time. You had to call 48 hours in advance but every time I asked the staff was never able to say the exact time sign ups opened. So it was usually either 6am or 8pm swim times available. Also, their online portal to sign up never worked so it was extremely inconvenient.
Also, the classes. I showed up for my first yoga class, went to the room it was labeled on the schedule, and sat there. No one showed up and the class location was mislabeled. I checked with the front desk, and again, clueless. I never tried to go to a class again.

Lastly and the most frustratingly, I called to inquire about cancelling my membership while flying home for a family emergency. Someone told me I had to do it in person but would honor the date I called. I wasn’t able to make it back in person until weeks later and by that time, don’t even think about it.. they sat me down again and made me feel dumb for asking. I was shocked that they told me I had to pay not one but TWO more months based on the date I came in. That is almost $200 I did NOT have.

Frankly, I want a refund for those months to honor what I was told over the phone but am too intimated by the staff to even think about asking based on my prior experience.

If you’re looking to save money and have a convenient time, this is not the place for you, sadly.

It’s my favorite gym in fort collins! I have been to all of the gyms here and even though there are cheaper options the variety that this gym has is what keeps me here. I have had a membership since I was 7 (i’m not kidding lol) It is on the more expensive side but they have three separate gyms that you can go to South, Central and North. and it’s Jim has its own unique thing that it has.

The south gym has tennis courts, a indoor and outdoor pool, typically older adults and high school kids workout there.

Fort Collins club/Central typically has college kids, high school, kids, adults and older adults. It has a basketball court and an indoor and outdoor pool.

Northside/north/North Genesis has a climbing gym and a CrossFit gym. They do not have a pool over there but they do have regular workout equipment. There tends to be a lot of highschoolers and college students that do climbing over there but the people that work out there tend to be adults.

I would leave 0 starts if I could. They are super accommodating when it comes to taking your money. But when you go to them with an emergency situation (like being forced to move out of your apartment with 5 days notice and moving far away from any genesis gym) and ask for help to not get charged anymore, they are either super rude, or pretend to want to help but basically they are saying "nothing we can do". I have had similar situations with other corporations and they accommodated me, even though I had a legal agreement with them too. You can always sign an agreement on top of a legal agreement to let someone off a contract, that's a fact.

We never complained for a compensation when their equipment and hot tub weren't working or being repaired, or when they never re-stock towels by the hot tub area.

When it comes to the customer, we have to be understanding of their emergencies.

But they won't grant you the same courtesy.

Do not waste your money. Go to raintree, they are much more accommodating.

I recently had the pleasure of joining Genesis Health Club, and I can confidently say that it is the epitome of excellence in the fitness industry.

The gym is equipped with the latest and most advanced fitness equipment, ensuring a wide range of options for every workout routine. From the spacious weightlifting area to the cutting-edge cardio machines and functional training zones, this place has it all.

The staff at Genesis Health Club are truly exceptional. They are genuinely passionate about helping members achieve their fitness goals. I had the pleasure of first meeting Danielle and Devin, who welcomed me with open arms and truly made me feel at home

The entire facility is impeccably clean, with regular sanitization routines in place. The equipment is well-maintained and sanitized after each use, giving members peace of mind as they focus on their workouts.

Again, one of the standout aspects of Genesis Health Club is the warm and inclusive atmosphere. The staff and fellow members create a supportive community that motivates and inspires each other. There is a genuine sense of camaraderie that makes working out at Genesis Health Club a pleasure.

All in all, Genesis Health Club is a fitness paradise that excels in every aspect. Its state-of-the-art facilities, expert staff, cleanliness standards, extra amenities, and welcoming atmosphere make it an unbeatable choice for anyone seeking a holistic fitness experience. I encourage fitness enthusiasts of all levels to join and experience the transformation firsthand.

Really enjoyed working out at this facility, however DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE. You will be SCAMED. After being a member for two years, I got an unexpected offer to go to Europe for 4 months. I let the gym know if I could pause or cancel the membership for those months and I would rerun in September. They said that they could do that however they need a 30 day notice and I would still be charged for the entire month of June, even though I left in May and told them May 15th I would be needing this. I would have absolutely kept being a member for years to come as I’m only away for 4 months, when I return now I will be working out at Alive! Looks like they got my $50 but lost thousands as I would’ve remained a member for years and years.

Genesis is all about profits and they do not care about building relationships with their members, the customers that allow them to stay in business. I would highly recommend going to a different gym in Fort Collins.

When I say this is a “people gym” I mean that this place was fantastic! The staff are all really friendly and welcoming and nonjudgmental and kind. I live in Los Angeles and have been a member at Equinox, 24 hour fitness, and Powerhouse before, where you felt less than and judged based on the brand name work out leggings or what gym bag you walked in with. Here you don’t get any of that nonsense. It was so fun working out here.

Biggest shout out and appreciation to Mariah- the club manager, Jack Werner and Bryce for being great employees- super understanding and cool and never made me feel uncomfortable. Instead they welcomed me in as part of their family and I wish I could attend everyday!

The club is okay and is what it’s supposed to be, however, when signing up, I was told that you’re allowed to give out a few guest passes for 14 days (and I was encouraged to do so), so I put down a friend’s name on the list and was told they can come for 14 days even without me there. Today (and it has only been a few weeks into my membership) I called just to double check and was told that it’s not allowed any more and now this person has to pay a drop-in fee. It just felt like I was lied to while enrolling and I’m glad I called because if my friend just showed up and was denied entry, it would be super embarrassing. The girl on the phone sounded dismissive, I feel very uncomfortable after encouraging someone to try attending the club and now having to say that they can’t do it and I think I will end up canceling my membership too.

Joined Genesis Fort Collins Health Club in November, thinking I’d give it try. In the past I’ve joined and quit because I tried to find my way on my own. This time I got a couple of complimentary training sessions with a terrific young woman, Haley Ralston, who actually listened to me. She designed a training program that makes sense. She has coached, prodded and made me believe over time that I could have fun at the same time if I just followed our plan and got results.

Now, my wife and I are regulars, 3x week. The plan Haley and I created works for me. I’m not saying Haley is a miracle worker, but I do in fact feel a lot better and I’m motivated to continue. I’m 74, in good health and plan on staying that way for a long time to come. SS

PS - My wife read this and thinks I’m wrong. She thinks Haley is a miracle worker.

Can’t wait to take my son to the outdoor pool next summer! They also have a lot of personal trainers to choose from. Their manager Nate was very helpful with assessment and paired my friend and I with an amazing personal trainer named Haley. She is very knowledgeable and makes sure that all our questions are answered before session is over.
One issue that I ran into recently is that how hard it is to find a parking spot. It’s never been so bad previous years. But overall I love my gym ❤️
