This gym is amazing. It is clean, the staff is friendly, and the variety of fitness oriented activities is unsurpassed. I especially like the free WiFi so I can stream music while working out. Top notch gym and people.

I'm a gym junkie, I travel quite a bit for work. This is arguably the nicest gym I've been in. Tons of equipment and it's not crammed in there, clean facility, friendly staff, I would highly recommend this place!

All the equipment is in good shape and if something is broken it is generally fixed quickly. A good workout is all about changing up your routine and they have so much equipment to do so. The staff is helpful and friendly. WiFi kinda sucks though.

I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't so darn crowded all the time especially after the new year. The group exercise classes are awesome, however.

As a senior citizen, I use the Silver Sneakers program. So I no longer pay anything. I have been a member for many years. And this is a great place to go 5 days a week.

Nice staff, clean, best gym in town, clifton location seems to have more equipment up and running and is a bit cleaner, staff also a bit more friendly there.

I enjoy my time at the gym. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Can't say that so much for the other people that come to work out. I have no complaints about the gym but I have to say to the woman that go, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop clipping your dang toe nails and letting it drop to the floor, not bothering to pick it up after you're done, in the locker room. That's absolutely disgusting. Other woman walk on that floor and we don't need to be stepping on your clipped toe nail clippings. It's gross. Be an adult please.

Everything in the gym is great including the staff. The only issue is that during peak times, you literally CAN'T find an open machine. Seriously don't even bother leaving the house. Find a different time to go

It has everything you need to do whatever you want, but more regular squat racks and bench press benches would be great to have

Nice staff, clean and good equipment. I use the pool a lot and it can get crowded, I go late at night.

Please post signs at cardio theatre entrance or beneath movie screen - "Please end phone calls and conversations outside the theatre" or something to that effect. It's hard to filter the background talk -- and people can visit at the machines outside in the open area.

Also...I'd like management to respond to these problems as they arise. When I ask people not to talk in the theatre, inevitably the people near me say 'thank you' to me, meaning they didn't like the behavior either. But...I don't want to be the bad guy all of the time. I just want to come to Gold's Gym and work out in peace. I'm at the Gym 4 to 5 times a week, so this happens fairly frequently of late. I don't remember this happening until about the last six months.

I'm all for giving credit where credit is due. But this one's beyond my authority. The problem needs to be handled by management and the employees.

Respectfully

The men's locker room smells like a rendering plant. They have carpet throughout and all these saggy old men go to Gold's and treat it like their own personal Turkish bathhouse and slop water and old balls all over the place. Every time I walked in, my asthma would set off and then I'd get athletes foot. The weights and equipment are good but not great. They need more of the basics--bench press benches, squat racks, etc. The machines are in good shape and I like the addition of Cross Fit equipment in the basketball gym. But it's the shape of the men's locker room that forced me to cancel after 2 years. My athlete's foot has cleared up and my asthma is minimal again. Rip up the carpet and put in a non-slip non-carpeted floor and I''ll rejoin.

My wife and I have been members at the Grand Junction Gold's Gym for 4 years. We have also made use of their personal trainers during that time. This is an excellent gym and we highly recommend it. The facility itself is very large and is well maintained. We have a Gold's Gym travel card which allows us to use other Gold's Gyms when we travel and this one is, far and away, the best one we have seen.

Clean, great selection of machines. Staff is incredible.
I came here after a stint at the Life Center and was amazed at the difference.
There are some serious results coming out of this place!! I see bodies I didn't know existed in real life.

Gold's Gym has a pleasant and friendly atmosphere and has something for everybody. You can get the workout that works for you and you can get as much advise and assistance as you could need to make your workout as beneficial as you want it to be.

We were lied to by the Clifton Gold's gym and told that we could use any Gold's gym nationwide if we moved or transferred. This is only a half truth, in order to use another Gold's gym (outside of the Clifton/GJ area) they will credit you for your remaining months ONLY if you sign a new 1-2 year contract. They also claim you can get a visitor pass to use other gyms, but this is a one-time 7(consecutive)day pass. There are NO Gold's gyms in Denver, so when I moved I have to drive an hour to use the Gold's in Colorado Springs, but can only do so for 7 days.

I had heard from others that Gold's will refund your membership if you move for work-related purposes. This is true, but with a fee of $100 for doing so.

Gold's is a National Gym, but each one is franchised so don't be fooled, they are not a national membership, though they will give you half truths to make you think so.
