GRIT FoCo: A cross training fitness studio located in old town Fort Collins, serving Northern Colorado from Loveland to Windsor to Severance to Timnath. Local, women owned fitness studio offering classes in VersaClimb, Yoga and Lagree. very modality is meant for everybody, at every age. All methods here are safe for you no matter where you are in your physical journey. We are able to offer full body cardio workouts through VersaClimb, full body resistance based strength training through Lagree, stretching, breath work and yoga all in one space. It is the only workout facility you will need while still getting that personalized coaching and incredible community.

GRIT Fort Collins is such an uplifting community, between the instructors and the dedicated clients, it just feels like home. Lesley’s Shake classes make me question my life decisions but make me feel so strong, that even though it’s hard AF, I keep coming back. Christina is a great climb leader with amazing energy and Natalie is so so sweet! I’m looking forward to seeing this brand grow in Fort Collins!

I loved frequenting this studio over the 2 years that I lived in Fort Collins, I still think about it now that I am back in the midwest. The Lagree and the Climb classes were challenging but the instructors always took the time to make sure everyone was properly doing the workout. The environment is very welcoming, the instructors are kind, and the workouts customizable to your skill level. I miss yall!

Emily was my Lagree instructor and was wonderful! This was my first class and before the class started she gave the newbies a tour and explained the machine in detail. It was very helpful. Throughout the class, she gave me tips and helped adjust when needed. It was great and the vibe of the workout rooms are so fun!

I cannot rave about this place enough!! The instructors, the people, the atmosphere, the COMMUNITY - i n c r e d i b l e. It truly is a one stop shop when it comes to the modalities they offer. Lagree, climb, yoga, and hiit. I have really enjoyed pushing myself in each class. If you have been on the fence about trying a class here, I recommend doing it! Friday's they offer 50% off drop in rates, and first timer specials, so truly no excuse not to check it out. I am so happy I found this place!!

Love a good boutique gym but sometimes they lack the talent to make hard programs BUT this place has surprisingly hard work outs- shake and climb made me really work those muscles. The teacher (Stina) is very hands on with making sure form and effort are dialed in. I will be going back often!

I absolutely love going to Grit! This gym has the best instructors who make you feel like you truly belong. They provide modifications for all moves, so you can always find a version that works for you. Initially, I was a little intimidated, but within minutes, I felt completely at ease. The instructors challenge you just the right amount to ensure you get a great workout without feeling overwhelmed. Everyone here is friendly and encouraging, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I can't say enough good things about the instructors and the owner. Highly recommend Grit to anyone looking for a fantastic gym experience!

As a novice to Lagree, I was pretty nervous stepping into Grit for the first time. I had never even seen a Megaformer before! But from the moment I walked in the door I had a positive experience. The edgy, fun, unpretentious studio instantly made me feel at home. I was greeted with warmth and encouragement from both the teachers and staff.

I love that the studio has many teachers to choose from, in different age groups, with different body types, it makes it feel a lot less intimidating!

The instructors at Grit have always gone above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcomed every time I attend a class. They have always taken the time to explain the equipment and the exercises, and they offered modifications throughout the workout…believe me you’ll need modifications sometimes, Lagree isn’t easy! The instructors also point to the more advanced students in class so I can keep an eye on my form and know how to advance the moves if I want to try to push myself.

Lagree workouts are awesome and challenging, they use muscles you didn’t even know you had! They will definitely get you into great shape and you’ll have fun which for me is the most important part of exercise. I am always surprised how fast the class time goes by. I wish I could go to the studio more often but it’s a bit of a drive so I stop in whenever I can. No matter how long it’s been, it’s always a positive experience and I walk away feeling accomplished.

Grit is such a cool, cozy studio! Definitely not the big gym feel. Everyone seems to enjoy working there. They offer a number of different types of classes so you’ll find something that fits your vibe for the day from yoga, to classes with loud music and a kickass workout! I look forward to trying out other classes and teachers next time I’m in town.

I love Grit!!! I’ve done the Lagree classes and climbing classes and they’re both awesome. All of the instructors are awesome and you can tell that they really care about what they’re doing.

I’m a marathon runner so I don’t always have the time or energy to do Lagree when I am training but I love it for the off season. Such a great strength workout! Lesley, Natalie, and Stina are a few of my fav instructors!

I went to my first class here today and for the most part it was great! But I would not recommend this studio for beginners. The instructor specifically told me at the beginning of class to reference the regulars in class to see how to do some of the movements since she wouldn’t be demoing everything. At one point I was looking around to make sure I had proper form and she came to my megaformer and started yelling at me on the mic about how I shouldn’t be comparing myself to others and to stop looking around. The class itself was fun and challenging but I felt very judged by the instructor. It wasn’t an uplifting or welcoming space compared to other studios I’ve visited.

I joined GRIT earlier this year. Natalie the owner has built a great place and community. The instructors and other members are welcoming and encouraging. Classes are fun and challenging. I also appreciate that the studio is locally owned and not a chain. If you are looking for a great place to get fit I highly recommend GRIT!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Tried their 2 week trial and was instantly hooked and became a member immediately! Being a fitness instructor myself, I’m pretty picky and specific and let me tell you, this gym is STACKED with the absolute best instructors and staff. I’ve always been greeted by my name every time I’ve come and felt like family from the beginning. The owner Natalie and staff has thought of every detail. My favorite is the cold towels after a hard climb class!! The smaller class sizes are awesome, you get the benefits of group fitness and personal attention all in one! The core muscles finally starting to show from lagree don’t suck either ;) You will not regret trying this place!

I can't say enough positive things about GRIT and the supportive community that Natalie has built. I moved to Old Town from southeast Fort Collins last year and was looking for a new yoga studio... and found so much more. I tried Lagree during their opening week and was completely hooked. Adding Lagree to my workout routine has made me feel stronger and produced more body changes than I have seen with any other workout. GRIT's yoga classes are also amazing. Jordan and Stina embody genuine, positive energy that permeates the entire room. After years of heated classes, I was skeptical since the studio is not heated. However, I found the classes challenging and grounding and did not miss the heat at all. All GRIT's teachers (Natalie, Seggan, Jordan, Alyssa, Kathryn, Stina, Megan, and Justine) are super friendly, kind, and real people who are very supportive and motivating. No weak links in the instructor lineup! You feel welcome and appreciated when you walk in the door, regardless of age, body type, or fitness level. There is not an ounce of judgment or aloofness in the entire place. Instead, you find a safe atmosphere where everyone is accepted and encouraged to push themselves harder than they thought possible. Finally, the GRIT team loves having fun and always plans activities to socialize and celebrate their members' successes. My GRIT workouts and the GRIT team are a highlight of my week. Keep up the fantastic work!

I’ve been working out at Grit since April and absolutely love it! I had never taken a Lagree or Climb before. It took about 3 classes to get the hang of the Lagree method, and now I’m addicted and have been going twice a week since I first started with Grit. It’s nice to also mix in a Climb class for extra cardio once a week. The atmosphere is fun with the dark room, colored lights, and loud music. All of the instructors are SUPER friendly and will help with any modifications throughout the class, so don’t be afraid if you’re a beginner. This is a great place for all experience levels!

GRIT is the best fitness studio I’ve ever been to! Having access to Climb, Shake, or Flow means being able to select a class type that matches your energy, mood, and intensity level on any given day. The music is motivating but not blaring— a perfect plus for those of us who might be prone to sensory overload. The instructors are top-notch, kind, authentic, fun, and professional. All of them! They know what they are doing and value proper alignment, injury prevention, and a community feel in the classes. If it’s your first time practicing yoga, Lagree, or stepping on a CLMBR, don’t worry! The instructors’ cueing is on-point and they take the time to check your form. The location is great, facilities are clean, the environment is fun, and the owners are passionate and caring. I took my first classes at GRIT this morning and it was amazing. I started with the 8am CLIMB class with Kaylen and while it took my body a couple of minutes to find the right form, I quickly caught on and had an awesome workout. I finished the 20 minute workout drenched in sweat while also feeling like my body put in one of the best exercises it has in a long time. I followed that up with a 45 min Shake class with Alyssa. I can tell you that my body isn’t flexible at all and it took me a few minutes to train my mind and body to do each exercise. However Alyssa was patient and a great teacher and as I got a few minutes into class, I was ready to go for the remaining time. If you’re looking for a workout that you know will make a difference on your entire body, I highly recommend checking out GRIT. You’ll love every minute of it!

HARDCORE CLIMBING!

I recently took a Climbing class with Grit and it kicked my a$$! I was drenched in sweat and definitely felt the results of the workout for a few days afterward.

The energy is awesome, my instructor was amazing, and I could imagine that with consistency and effort .. this place will transform your body and mind!

As an extremely active guy and in decent shape, I’d highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a challenge and looking to get in shape.

The only caveat is that there might be a slight learning curve to the “CLMBR” machine and your form. However, that’s expected with anything that you try for the first time.

Grit just opened and I highly recommend it! It's a locally owned, women-owned business. They offer 3 types of classes: Climb (cardio), Lagree, and Yoga. I've tried all three and they are all awesome! All the instructors are knowledgeable, well-trained and so motivating. It has a very positive, welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere. The owners are such wonderful, amazing ladies.
