About the Club

At Healthspan Training, we empower you to transform your health, whether you’re just starting or have more experience. Our personalized health coaching plans provide comprehensive approaches to resistance training, conditioning, nutrition, assessment, and recovery—all in one location. We offer individual services like VO2 max and RMR testing, as well as training to improve those areas and much more with coaching packages and monthly memberships.

We are co-located and housed at BOLDT Athletics, providing our members with the highest quality programs that combine evidence-based approaches with inclusive community experiences to create real results and lasting change. Our goal is to support you to feel your best across the decades to come.

Can’t say enough good things about Austin and Healthspan Training! Austin has made it incredibly clear and easy to understand how fitness, nutrition, and recovery all come together to create the best version of yourself.

As someone who does “remote” sessions, check-ins are super easy and I always feel like I can reach out with questions to keep on track. One thing I love is that the data from each week informs what we do on the training/nutrition front next. I love that the plan caters to my actual life vs being cookie cutter.

Whether you are down the street or multiple states over, Austin will help you hit your goals!

I highly recommend Healthspan Training for anyone who is interested in working on their physical health!

In about an hour (check-in, warm up, testing, and consultation) I was able to complete Vo2 Max testing using brand new, highly precise equipment at their gym. Not only did the testing give me an indication of my current health, but it gave me a road map on how I should exercise moving forward for the greatest physical results! Austin was very knowledgeable and helpful. After the test he explained what my test results meant in laymen’s terms so I could understand them. He also sent me a follow-up report that included everything we discussed that I can reference moving forward to make sure I’m staying on track, which was great!

Thank you Austin and the Healthspan Training team for showing me how I can reach the next level in my training! I’ll definitely be back to test my Vo2 again and track my progress!

Austin was simply amazing. I've multiple VO2 max tests done in the past, and this was by far the best experience I've ever had.

First, Austin is super friendly and knowledgeable about all the various fitness tests.

Second, he provided two different options to take the VO2 max test:
1. the normal, sprinting option (ugh)
2. a new option (that i chose) in which you focus more on increasing inclines with a steady speed - this is great for us Coloradans who backpack/hike.

Third, the face mask that he provides is ultralight, cordless, and does NOT need to be super tight on your face. Again, this is by the far the most comfortable mask I've ever worn for this.

I can't recommend Austin and Healthspan Training enough!!!

I just had to share how awesome my experience was getting a Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) test done at Healthspan. Seriously, if you’ve been on the fence about getting a deep dive into your own body data, this is your sign!

I’ll admit, going in I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. I was a little nervous, imagining some complicated, stressful procedure. But Austin did such a great job preparing me for the test, walking me through every single step, and ensuring I understood the context and the 'why' behind it. He made the whole thing feel completely seamless and chill (chill music, waterfall background sounds and all).

What really stood out was the actual testing process. While I was relaxing and letting the machine do its work, Austin wasn't just sitting there. He was giving me real-time feedback on what was happening and what data he was seeing on his end. It turned a quiet test into an insightful, interactive session. I felt totally engaged and informed the whole time.

And the follow-up? Immediate and detailed. Soon after, I got a thorough email summary of my official RMR results, plus his personalized notes and explanations. It was clear, easy to digest, and incredibly valuable.

The amazing part is that I’m not even currently training for a marathon or anything specific right now, but getting this information was just amazing. It’s given me a clear, factual baseline of where my health and fitness levels are starting from. This knowledge is power, whether you’re working toward a huge fitness goal or just want pure, objective insight into your metabolism.

If you’re thinking about optimizing your health, learning more about your body, or kicking off a new training cycle—you absolutely have to work with Austin. Highly, highly recommend!
