I feel more and more supported in my fitness journey each time I have a virtual check-in with Shari. I am dealing with quite a bit of pain and had very limited mobility when we first worked together. I am now able to do daily activities that I used to ask my husband or my son to help me with. And my travel experiences feel so much less stressful now that I can lift my own suitcases. :-) I highly recommend Shari Wagner of Iron Clad Fitness to anyone who longs to feel stronger, more mobile and confident in their body.

I had worked with a couple of other trainers before Shari, and she has been the best. She explains everything thoroughly, provides reference videos, and adapts to what your body needs. She has given me new approaches and improved on what I was already doing. She is approachable, listens well, continues to learn herself, and obviously loves what she does!

I started training with Shari at the beginning of the pandemic, when classes went on line, because I live in Pennsylvania. The classes have been awesome! I was 77 when I began and have osteoporosis. I knew weight bearing exercises would help but I never expected the results I got! In one year my lumbar spine bone density increased by 13% and my hip increased by 8.4%. My doctor was extremely pleased. In addition, I am very strong. I am now 79 and live in a retirement community where we have a fitness center. My neighbors are in awe when they see the weights I lift.

I have just finished my first year with Shari and absolutely have fallen in love with kettle bells. I love the small class size, the individual attention to technique and form, and the variety of exercises and routines. I have gained a lot more strength, more fit than I could ever get just by cycling, and has even helped with my cycling skills!

After almost one year working out at Iron Clad fitness i really needed to let everyone know how awesome this place is. I am stronger, sleeping better, have more energy, and feel great! I love the feel of the classes and the camaraderie. Shari is an excellent trainer and so supportive. I highly recommend anyone, beginner or expert level in fitness or anywhere in between to come check this place out.

I was bored with my regular fitness training and I felt stuck from reaching my fitness goals. I never used kettlebells in my strength training before and Shari made me feel comfortable in her class. Since I started training with her guidance and nutrition, I am stronger, leaner and have much more endurance in my runs! Her classes only allow for 10 students and that helps Shari give more individual attention to help you get into the correct positions. I also love the sense of community at her gym. Everyone there is so friendly and encouraging! You have to check it out! You can register online for a drop in class or try a FREE week! Once you do it, I know you will love it like I do!

After just over two years as a member, I earned my Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification! Shari has been such a positive influence in my wellness campaign; she really cares for and about her clientele. Occasionally, when I visit other gyms and see the haphazard kettlebell techniques being utilized, I am so grateful for the training at Iron Clad Fitness.

Owner Shari is supportive, engaging, smart and chock-full of useful information about kettlebell workouts. She is passionate about helping people transform their bodies safely, to build their good health and high quality of life long-term. Not having the time to exercise is not a legitimate reason, since weak muscles lead to injury that can incapacitate–which I really don’t have time for! What Shari does exceptionally well is pay close attention to your form so you stay safe and effective. In 45-minutes workouts, you swing, sweat and grow strong – and it’s fun! I highly recommend Ironclad Fitness!

I definitely can recommend this studio. The groups are small and atmosphere is friendly. You can come with experience or without it, but the result will be amazing. Shari is a great instructor, very attentive to details. She is very dedicated and intense, has the best credentials as a trainer. Shari built her training such way that I feel personal attention every time I come to the class. If a student has some health problem, Shari will adjust training to improve one's conditions and make eventually feel better and stronger. Classes include not only kettlebels exercises but elements of yoga, endurance, and cardio training. All of it is very effective. I had previous weight lifting and yoga experience but I definitely have good improvement in my strength and flexibility training with Shari. Thank you, very much, Shari!

Shari, the owner, is meticulous with attention to individual form for all exercises. Her mantra is that no one gets injured on her watch! I feel safe, strong, empowered and am amazed at how good I feel. I am aware of doing daily activities and how much attention I am paying to walking, climbing stairs, getting up from a chair and in general using my body. In 3 months of 2x a week training, I see big changes in strength and definitely how much better my clothes fit. This has been a win-win for me. My time in the gym goes by so fast and I feel as though i have a new friend for life in Shari and Ironclad.,

Kettlebells are an AMAZING way to get into shape! I was fit and active when I first tried a kettlebell class, wow was I surprised at how effective the exercise was... Definitley a full body workout, healthy, safe, fun and intense! Amazing, understanding, patient and an overall excellent trainer!!!
I went to Shari with an injured lower back and she took me slowly thru strengthening and conditioning to the point where a two year injury is now almost completely healed. I have gained so much thru working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone at ANY age or fitness level. I do a combo of personal training and classes and I can't decide which one I like better because they are both so incredibly helpful and challenging. I also like the fact that this gym isn't a chain and I'm not just another number!

I started this review as I sat in the gym office while Shari was giving an intro to a new client. Listening to her just reminded me of how GOOD she really is. She not only knows her stuff, but she's such a great teacher and constantly learning and expanding her own knowledge. Iron Clad Fitness offers such a great high intense low impact workout in a fun and safe environment. Smaller classes, better personal attention and not stocked full of meatheads. I am someone who didn't start working out (period) let alone with kettlebells until I was 36yrs old, don't give up on finding what works for you until you try a workout with Shari!

If you are looking for a great place to work out and have fun at the same time, let me tell you my story!
In March of 2014 I met with Shari Wagner, owner and certified Russian Kettle Bell instructor at Iron Clad Fitness. I had FINALLY motivated myself to participate in her Transformation Contest. Little did I know what the next year would bring.
I may not have won the contest but thanks to Shari I have won the gift of living life. Prior to starting at Iron Clad Fitness I was very over weight, suffered from severe depression (uncontrollable by meds), high blood pressure, and chronic back pain that I needed to medicate for daily. I had no strength or stamina.
One year later-WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Through Shari’s guidance and continued enthusiasm I have lost weight (although I still have a ways to go). I have lost a total of 10 inches. I have gained tremendous strength and endurance. I have learned how to eat better. I now only take a half dose of the medication for depression and rarely take muscle relaxants for my back.
So thank you, Shari and fellow KB’ers, for the inspiration and motivation. Looking forward to another great year of swinging those kettle bells.!
