Fantastic place to get your climbing fix in. It is not an accident that this place is busy. Great equipment, the highest climbing wall in Colorado, great staff and leadership.

Location is great as well. Plenty of parking. If the lot is full, street parking is available.

This gym hands down ruined climbing for me. Being the only gym in town, they’ve chosen to force members who enjoy regular bouldering to partake in comp style-only bouldering, and it’s been nothing short of frustrating. The setters are increasingly obsessed with dynos, big moves and slopers. It’s fine every once in a while, but this is the only thing they set, and it caused me to finally cancel my membership. Would not recommend coming here unless you’re a child and/or you love dynos.

Wasted opportunity to be a GOOD gym.

Unfortunately this gym has gotten a lot worse since the new building and management change. The walls are bland and uninteresting in both boulder and lead. They were so focused on being the tallest and having a big bouldering area, they forgot that it needs to be good. The portal for class sign up and membership management is really really bad. I've emailed twice about not being able to sign up for classes and had no response. Tried calling and no response either. This is not a one time issue either; it's happened every time there's a change in membership and sometimes just randomly. Rosalie is great about fixing it most times but the system is broken from the ground up. The regular staff is great. It's an owner and management problem. This was an amazing gym when we joined. Now it's a corporate soulless boring (EXPENSIVE) place that doesn't treat its members very well. 2 stars only because the fitness area and trainers are great.

I've climbed in many gyms throughout the US and highly recommend checking out the
Longmont location (though I imagine Loveland and Greeley are great too). This is especially true if you live in the area. The Longmont Climbing Collective walls are the highest I've climbed along the Front Range, and it is BY FAR the cleanest facility. The staff are extremely nice, and attending their yoga classes has been a game changer for my overall health. Highly recommend even if you just happen to be passing through from out of state. I recommend even more highly if you live in the area. I honestly cannot imagine a better gym. Sitting in the sauna for 20 minutes after a session is just another cherry on top. They have a plunge "pool" too if you're really into suffering! :)

We had Rosalie visit our school and give us a demo on our traverse wall. She was amazing! The pro tips she gave the kids and her enthusiasm helped my little climbers to challenge themselves to a higher level. Great outreach and community connections. Thank you!

Great gyms owned by awesome Longmont people. This gym seems to have a really great culture and my wife and I are really proud to be members here. We also love the other two locations and altogether we stay pretty satisfied climbing-wise. We only go to other gyms very occasionally because we love the Climbing Collective so much. Good people own it, good people work there, good people climb there. Just positive vibes all around.

Great place! Amazing community. If i could give 6 stars, I would. Everyone is super respectful. I'm originally from Mississippi, where the cost of living is lower, so it feels like the price point is high, but I think that's the case for everything in Colorado.

My first time going, I'll be going back to get a membership. The best part about this place is they have beer on tap so if you're looking to grab a drink you don't have to go far. This place has a cold plunge and sauna if you're feeling sore definitely make sure you bring a towel as it's cold going from the sauna to the cold plunge.

This place is incredible. The people who work there are so awesome, the setting is great, the setters are all really cool, huge variety of holds.

This is my happy place and it can be yours too!

Also great for families. Lots of programs for younger kids.

Go here!!! Climb the plastic and leave some skin on the wall!!!

Great gym with friendly staff! Lots of bouldering and tall walls for routes. The outdoor wall is a lot of fun. There's also an ample fitness area, and lots of yoga and climbing training type classes. The membership is reasonable for a climbing gym, and they even have a partners membership that ends up a little cheaper for each person.

Great climbing gym! Staff is always friendly! Sadly, the outside climbing has been closed off on multiple visits(when it's open is nice to get fresh air while climbing at a gym), and it can be loud when there's too many kids(which is to be expected).
Besides that, it's my go-to indoor location.

Great dentistry.

Communications
Good communication and always answers the phone.

Facility:
The facility is very clean and modern.

Equipment:
They have a lot of in house equipment that maybe others wouldn’t. They can 3D print, mold, or machine teeth on the spot very quickly. Usually can do it same day. They also have in house X-rays and monitors over the chairs to review said X-rays/results with patients.

Staff:
Very friendly and communicative staff.

Financing:
They are willing to setup no hassle financing. My first time visit, I had a lot of work done. Had a lot of issues since missing the dentist all of Covid. They were willing to work with my budget and find ways to get me the treatment I needed.

Special shout out to Dr. Holowecky in particular. Been my go to guy for about 2 years now. Very personable guy that loves to get personal with you. He has helped me out more than once to get the care I needed even if it didn’t always align with my budget. Honest good guy.

The gym was great! It was clean, staff were helpful, and lots of variety to climb! I loved it! At first I thought the ropes selection was a bit small but nah they got a lot of great routes. Even ones outside of the building which I thought was cool but it was too cold for my liking out there 😝

Gym is ok. They don’t focus enough on the member experience, and are too focused on the big stuff like trying to host competitions. Ton of oversight when developing this place.

The holds for bouldering are FILTHY, and are slippery as a result: tons of caked up chalk and shoe scuffs, the setting is all competition style which is annoying; just set normal boulders, tons of unmonitored children running all over the place, horrible communication from gym to members, HORRIBLE parking, frustrating bathroom layout - and I mean really frustrating, the weight room has no mirrors, no features on the rope walls, outdoor wall faces the sun, so good luck in the summer, they made a part of the outdoor wall a permanent ice climbing training section?… I can go on forever.

This gym is not worth the money they charge, but it’s unfortunately the only climbing gym in Longmont right now. If another spot opens, I’m out of here.

They refuse to do cancellations at the front desk and instead refer you to "their agent" via email. This is a dishonest business practice and should be illegal. While I have other gripes with the gym around safety and cleanliness β€” and other issues of more personal impact that are less relevant to others (for instance, I was originally a founding member, excited to _finally_ have a climbing gym in Longmont, and one I could bike to, but they moved far enough out of town that Boulder gyms are now closer to me) β€” this experience is a red flag for me and I won't be back.

And yes, I'm posting a 1-star google review because I can guarantee you, that this will be the only way for me to get my cancellation processed in a timely way. I'm okay with that, because that kind of crappy way of operating a business deserves one star.

3rd time trying this gym. Was hoping previous experiences were just bad days. Really dirty floors and handholds, mats were wet to walk on. Rope area is very cramped and crowded. So many unmonitored kids that I almost landed on one, while lowering down on the auto belay. Might as well be a day care. I don’t expect routes to be clean but this was excessive. Handholds slick with caked on chalk.

Love this gym and the setting! Music is often weird though πŸ˜‚ I thought I was alone until my climbing visitors and climbing pals kept bringing it up. What an awesome place! This is the kind of climbing gym you what, where they are lax where they need to be for you to climb how you see fit, yet still strong on safety and learning. The bouldering looked great although a tournament was being held so I wasn't able to experience it, but the top rope area was awesome. What was the best is the medium and kids lines which gets younger climbers into the sport, where they can have fun while their parents work on their skills as well!

What a stellar gym! Their setters always do a fantastic job of setting a healthy variety of routes on both the bouldering and climbing walls, and they're changed with a nice frequency. This place is gorgeous. You can tell a lot of money went into it and the amenities are great. Biggest downside is it's not ideal for solo climbers and the routes are not changed nearly enough. Some are still thr same as the daybl they opened. Every other gym I've been too has at least one wall changing up every week. Would love some more variety. My husband is a member due mainly to location but is bored even just going 2-3 times a week. I don't find it worth it to have a memebeship... which is sad after 9 years of climbing.

This gym is an amazing space to spend a few hours nurturing your body and practicing self-care. Start with an invigorating warmup that includes Olympic lifting, kettle bells, sleds, hangbars, battle ropes, free weights, and a stretching area. The gym now features an outdoor wall with autobeleys, easy routes, overhangs, and speed climbing. The best time to visit is in the late afternoon through sundown. After your workout, take time to rejuvenate in the sauna and cold plunge. It truly has everything, including kids and beginner walls, a yoga studio, and the thrill of conquering the 20-meter walls!

We had a Birthday party here and it was so nice. The Staff was so knowledgeable, present, attentive, and caring. In particular Molly was awesome and is such a genuine person. Brett was very friendly and knowledgeable too. Their party room is perfect for hosting - There were enough chairs, soap for washing hands, a step stool at the sink, and a second table to ensure plenty of room to put your gifts and anything else you brought neatly to the side. The kids had a blast and we will definitely come back in the future for our entire family.

I have climbed my fair share of indoor climbing gyms, but this one stands out in every aspect. From the moment I stepped in, I felt the welcoming atmosphere and the passion for climbing. Max was incredibly knowledgeable, always ready to answer my questions or provide useful tips.

60 foot walls, both inside and out! The routes are diverse and constantly updated, catering to climbers of all levels. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, there's always a challenge waiting for you. The layout of the gym is spacious, with plenty of room to maneuver.

This gym is pretty rad. I love being able to get in quality morning workouts on great training equipment. Most of my time is spent training between the board room and in the roped area with the super TALL walls. The setup in the board room is pretty cool. It's got everything from hangboards, a campus board and adjustable training walls (moonboard, kilter and spray wall) all in one area.

I also appreciate how family-friendly this place is. I'll often come back later in the day with my six-year-old son. The kid climbing area was enough to spark his interest to where he's asking to go climbing without me prompting (finally!). We just signed him up for his first climbing camp and we're psyched.

Overall, my family and I really enjoy climbing here. The staff is so friendly and the climbing is always good. It's always a fun experience.

recently Joined LCC, used to occasionally visit the old location, but have always enjoyed climbing outdoors and am not much of a boulderer. This new location is SWEET, super tall sport, and top rope walls, with some auto belays mixed in. My family has been enjoying the yoga classes, as well as the kids area which my 3 year old now asks everyday if we can go climbing. my only complaint is, I would like to see a few kids lines sprinkled into the bouldering walls. I get you have a dedicated kids section now, but it would be nice to be able to go down and climb some stuff with my kid and not be sectioned off to a corner of the gym. a few other adults have mentioned when the kids classes take place, they section off that area, so it would be nice to not have that as a concern and need to check the times of those classes to avoid that and potential meltdown of my daughter who loves the kids loft.

Perhaps the most monumental let down of a climbing gym. One would think after upgrading to a larger space designed from the ground up with seemingly endless potential and decades of other gyms to build off of they could have had something spectacular. Instead it falls flat in nearly every category.
The walls are nearly all dead vertical, a slight kick back at most. Almost nobody lead climbs here because of ankle breaking potential. Hard to get better with nearly no variety of angle. Even the bouldering is mostly dead vertical! Since this gym opened I've lost a lot of my strength, old climbs that felt easy enough outside I can't even hang onto now.
Gatekeeping seems like it is happening in the "harder" bouldering grades. I can send all of one slash grade usually on the first attempt or so. The next slash grade up is impossible to even try for me.
The walls are covered in a nasty carbide grit (literally 120 grit sandpaper) for some reason, so if you slip off the slabby holds you will lose a few dollars worth of rubber off your shoes each time. If you're a beginner expect to blow through shoes. The owner I believe also serves as a distributor for climbing shoes, coincidence??? I'm only joking, sorta
Since it's hard to get a workout in climbing, the lifting area is cramped and awkward if more than 3 or so people are in it, truly a bizarre set up. Odds are you'll end up bumping weights with somebody else or having to work around others in an awkward way.
Location makes you wonder if the drive to boulder is actually worth it. It's one of the only things that Boulder has on Longmont now that the old location shut down.
I agree with another post that says they left the climbing community behind in favor for presumably a more family focused environment. Fair enough, gotta get paid I suppose. The facility's look nice and are almost world class, it's maybe a good place to cut your teeth but even my friends who are beginners don't like this gym. My friends who I usually rope up with are hesitant to visit again even with a free guest pass :(

The new location on Pinnacle is a disappointment at best, and at worst a slap in the face of the community.

When my partner and I moved to Longmont a couple years ago, we were enamored with the previous bouldering-only location. The space was open, the circuit boards were close to the fitness area, and there were plenty of overhanging features that allowed more advanced climbers to push their limits on varied terrain. As we became regulars, we found ourselves in a welcoming community of others who enjoyed the space as much as we did.

This new location has left us feeling abandoned and betrayed. The fitness area is split in two, with a lot of equipment residing in an area that’s often used for their fitness classes. The cable machines and squat racks in the open space are situated such that it is cramped and inaccessible for my partner who is an injured athlete trying to rehab. The large glass wall, while visually appealing, makes for a hot and swampy area during any of the numerous sunny days that we experience.

The climbing walls are the saddest part. There is no longer a swath of steep terrain to choose from. There are so many vertical slab walls that it’s depressingly redundant. I was really excited to have roped walls at my local gym, but when I walked into the roped area I found most of the area populated with the same repeated vertical terrain. There is one area with a slight angle change, and none of it is rigged for top roping. Hope you like whipping on slab. The circuit boards are sequestered to a back room that are starved for space. The hangboards and campus boards are installed opposite from their spray wall, kilter board, and moon board. If you’ve ever climbed on any of these, you know that there’s a tendency to set them at steeper angles and cut loose near the top (ie, doing dynamic moves where your feet come off of the wall and swing behind you). Someone is bound to get hurt there. Sitting in the cold, cramped board room, far away from everyone else feels like being put in time-out.

The community that we loved is now splintered. Some of our friends simply don’t go to this gym anymore, and when we socialize with those that do, our conversations are dominated with our disdain for this new facility which seems to have not been built for us at all. We used to be able to bike along Longmont’s lovely greenway on our way to the gym, but this new location outside of the actual city. This gym is unfortunately another refrain in the dirge that is the commercialization of climbing gyms that ultimately alienates their experienced members by only catering to new members and kids’ parties.

But hey, at least your kids can run up a warped wall in the kids area.

New location edit! -- the new facility is great! I'm excited to see how it evolves. It's easier to spread out while bouldering now which is great. The rope area is TALL and definitely tests endurance. Lots of areas to hang around, the fitness areas are still a good enough size to work on auxiliary strength and fitness or warm up/cool down. Also being only 1.5 miles away now is πŸ˜™πŸ‘ŒπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ

End of 2022 update after going here for a few years --
The old facility is still great, the people that climb here by and large are friendly and chill. The staff seems to be in their own little world though. Before just about every staff person or coach or instructor would at least say hi or acknowledge patrons. I get on a busy day, you're not going to say hi to everyone, but some of the staff just seem to have their own clique that we're *obviously* not a part of.

I still really dig the place and am looking forward to the new facility.

This facility is great. Multiple boulders, walls, and training boards as well as fitness equipment and weights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I took my kids for Father's day and we got to climb free!

My kids had a great time, we enjoyed watching people solve problems and letting the kids climb the over-top boulder.

The auto belay options/routes are great but it is one of the few facilities that doesn't have grigri's attached, although they are available to rent, which is nice. Bouldering routes are versatile & there are plenty of routes for every skill level.

I have attended a couple yoga classes & highly recommend. They have classes that are beginner-friendly and slow paced. Instructors are nice. The exercise area seems to have everything needed for efficient workouts.

It has been busy every time I have visited but I have never had to wait for a route. Front desk staff is friendly & welcoming as are all fellow climbers.

All in all- great & well worth a membership πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

All things considered, it's a great gym. However compared to the old longmont gym, the bouldering here is worse. The layout is unpleasant, resulting in a cramped space, extra crowded, and lots of standing around waiting for a turn. The old gym was serving bouldering as a 1st class service. This new gym does not. However the addition of high ropes is a welcomed addition. + the other amenities, it has a lot to offer. I'm just disappointed that the bouldering was downgraded, while every other service was upgraded. Nonetheless, it's a lovely gym that's tough beat

Big gym lots of creative routes, super well maintained and the comps are chill and fun.

They are still getting set up in the new location, but would like to see more volumes, more features on the rope walls, and more hand holds to help get down boulder routes.

Brand new gym. I went there since my 8 year old is taking a class. We used to go to the old gym and liked that too. It’s great to have a world class facility like this in our backyard.

One of the best little bordering gyms on the front range! Grading seemed on point, hang boards and retractable training walls for days, nice weights section, yoga studio, friendly staff, good shoe selection with free Wi-Fi, and no massive crowds like the other gyms! Almost enough to make a guy want to move to Longmont.

This place is awesome, sometimes you walk into climbing gyms and they're unpolished and you can tell the attention to detail just isn't there. But the LCC is awesome, it's super clean, the staff is always amazing and the routes are legit. It's a great place to drop in or hold a long term membership

Very nice gym with interesting routes. The gym part of the gym (i.e. weights) isn't super impressive but it's fine.

The staff are very friendly and the gym feels clean

EDIT since I can't reply directly to their response:
1. I think it could use a mirror, which is helpful for checking form.

2. I love the quantity of racks though they do feel wobbly I assume since it's such a large structure. Dedicated squat racks may be more stable, though definitely not necessary.

3. More machines and/or more treadmills. The quantity of dumbbells and barbells are great, but there are some exercises that are simply easier to do with a machine instead of dumbbells. Having a couple more treadmills would be nice too since it feels like they're always in demand.

I was in boulder and was only 20 mins away. This is my new favorite boulder gym! They have the best grading system with a very wide range of climbs. They go V0-V1, V1-V2 ,etc which is rare to see, but so amazing! They have tension and kilter boards, which are sick! Staff was great, facilities were great! Shoutout to Jackson and the team! Best climbing gym in Colorado! Not quite as expansive as some of the large corporate gyms like earth treks, but they make up for it with great route setting(and great holds), an AMAZING training area, a kilter board, tension board, symmetrical system wall, huge spray wall, campus boards, and great hang-board selection. Really great free weight area as well. If I had one critic it would be the crash pads, they're a little stiff and a little awkward to fall on from the top of the walls. Overall a wonderful addition to longmont and the overall climbing community of the Boulder area.
