Boxing Inspired Group Fitness Classes -We open every session with 5 minutes of reflection and intention-setting centering us to stay present & simply connect to our chosen course. This intention keeps us rooted during our entire practice. Once you’ve created intent for your mindful sweat you’ll feel the heat through 20 minutes of strength training. With uniquely designed daily programs that’ll have you target different muscle groups throughout the week you’ll never repeat the same class twice. We’ll flow into the heavy bag work with ten 2 minute rounds of boxing - where every jab-cross brings you closer to your intention and has you feeling like a champ with real purpose.

10/10! The studio had such great vibes from the people to the music. I am not normally a group fitness person but this was tough and sweaty. My friend and I were smiling and laughing throughout. Will be going again!

Melt Prjct is so much fun! I loved the class I took. The studio is so clean, beautiful, and functional. Angelica was welcoming, kind, and knows her stuff!! She helped me modify the workout for an injury and was so empowering and motivating! Other people in class were also welcoming and friendly as well. I can't wait to come back!

I went to the Punch and Plunge event this past weekend this event was so amazing! The combination of the workout, followed by yoga, followed by breath work, followed by the cold plunge/sauna was absolutely refreshing for the mind, body, and soul. Each of the instructors brought something different to the table and they were SO GOOD! Thank you Angelica for organizing this event!

Truly a gem of Boulder! At Meltprjct I have found the perfect combination of superior workouts, welcoming community, and motivation to keep coming back. MELT combines all the comforts of a top-notch gym while feeling like a personal training session. Angelica's commitment to proper form has given me the confidence to begin weight-training in a way I was never comfortable with before. *2024 UPDATE* four years later I am still such a fan! Angelica has built an incredible community and gym in Boulder. Classes are so fun and diverse for a total body workout- cardio boxing, strength training for your arms, back or legs, and then my absolute favorite- the tabata/HIIT class! I have been consistently attending MELT classes for nearly 5 years, and Angelica is the reason I keep coming back. Her dynamic approach, with new workouts in four-week sessions, keeps every class fresh and exciting. Angelica is an incredible motivator and instructor who brings a lot of fun to every session. She has a remarkable ability to tailor workouts for different fitness levels, knowing exactly when to push you and when to encourage you to rest. I started MELT a few months ago and it is already a part of my day and week I look forward to. I’m not one to typically write reviews unless I feel some type of way so here we go: MELT offers you an amazing/killer workout and community. It is inclusive in every way. I have struggled to find a gym in Boulder that offers a challenging workout that also feels light hearted, fun and welcoming in its community. MELT does just that and then some. If you are Spanish speaking, Angelica will instruct in both Spanish and English. The owner and all instructors are amazing. I really can’t give a higher recommendation for this place 😊
Coming back in with an updated review - beyond the amazing studio with great music that honestly could be turned up louder… (but accommodates those who may be sensitive to the music by offering ear plugs up front) MELT also extends itself to the community to offer amazing events to foster accessibility, inclusivity and fun! Recently, I’ve loved the summer series event. The owner goes out of her way to keep members/participants engaged by adding in things like workout bingo cards to keep us motivated.

MELT has genuinely changed my life - I have never been as fit as I am today.
This little studio packs a punch (pun intended!) - the workouts are challenging, fun, and thoughtfully designed by the world's best fitness professional and studio owner, Angelica. During the week there are a mix of classes that target total body, lower body and upper body/boxing, and you can expect to get your butt kicked in the very best way.
Angelica is also incredible at understanding (and remembering!) our injuries and limitations (I have several), and always making modifications to support that.
I've lived in NYC, Chicago, Hong Kong - and I've never been part of a fitness regimen or community that has motivated me and actually made me LOOK FORWARD to working out.
Music is amazing, workouts are bilingual (Spanish/English), vibes are A+. 10/10 highly recommend. You won't look back!

MELTprjct is easily my favorite gym in Boulder. I’ve tried a variety of gyms in town, and none of them were as effective, fun, or welcoming as MELT.
MELTprjct’s workouts GET THE JOB DONE. I’m a lifelong athlete and have done programmed strength training on and off since high school, and MELTprjct is as good as or better than everything I’ve done before. I recently came back from an (unrelated) injury. After just three months, I am visibly stronger and feel like I’m in much better shape. I’m a better hiker, soccer player, and runner because of my training at MELTprjct.
The workouts are so fun that I look forward to going. It’s nice to go to classes where you don’t have to stare at a screen or an instructor the whole time. Class sizes are big enough to be energizing, but small enough that the trainers can provide individualized coaching. And the music slaps.
In my experience, some gyms in Boulder can be a little intense and judgmental, but not at MELT. The good vibes of the owners and trainers attract members with good vibes, which makes for a supportive, welcoming, and fun environment, no matter your level. Through MELT, I’ve found a community that I enjoy spending time with, both in and out of the gym.
Part of what I love about MELT is that they make an effort to foster community. For instance, they recently hosted a free International Women’s Day event sponsored by Nike – with a DJ, cocktails, Nike swag, and DIY bouquets. There have been group basketball games, dinners, drinks, retreats, and more. The MELT founders frequently find ways to give back to the broader Boulder community, too. It feels good to go to a gym owned by people who genuinely care about the people they serve.

Their booking process is great. I was a little annoyed that they said I can just get gloves before class, and only told me that rental costs $9 when I got to the gym, but $9 is totally reasonable. They were nice gloves and wraps.
All their equipment was fantastic. I've never seen the type of bag they had but it felt really good to punch. There was a bit more give than a typical heavy bag so it was easier on my hands. I need to get their rollers for myself.
But I really wish they would stick to traditional fitness and leave out the boxing. The instructor didn't really seem to know how to punch at all. I'm definitely not a great boxer either and I'm pretty sure she can punch harder than me. But even I know you're supposed to pivot and punch with the body. She was fine when it came to teaching traditional exercises. I liked the emphasis on rolling everything out before class.
There's so many martial arts classes around Boulder. Please check those places out if you're interested in punching things.
I'm not going to knock points off for this because I know I'm just weird. But the music is painfully loud. I asked her to turn it down a bit but she said no. I think she doesn't have access to the volume, but I didn't want to pry. The gym smells super clean but there was something in the cleaner they use that stuck to my throat

Best workout program I've been a part of. I recently moved to Boulder and wanted to try something new as I've been going to a box gym for the past 8+ year. So thankful I found Melt. Not only do the workouts kick your butt, but Angelica and the staff tailor the program to your needs. I tried a lot of different programs in the area before fully committing and none have matched the attention to detail and personalization Melt provides.

I have been taking melt classes virtually for 3 years now and have never felt stronger, mentally and physically. The idea of incorporating mindfulness to each practice by setting an intention has completely changed my perspective on working out from something intimidating and challenging, to a way to be more in touch with myself. I feel like i have so much more self compassion as a result. Angelica is THE BEST and always goes the extra mile to make sure the session feels suitable to each individual’s specific needs/abilities. Seriously the most amazing fitness program out there!

How am I just now writing a review?? The MELTprjct has been an incredible addition to my workout routine. Setting an intention for each class truly has been a game changer. Being asked at the end of class to recall that intention and put the energy into it that I just worked so hard for makes this workout such a unique experience, especially since it is a TOUGH but INCREDIBLE workout. Intention workouts for me were always associated with yoga... what A&J are adding to a high intensity workout is a gift to all of us who are blessed to be able to take it with them. Good news... so can you!! It's easily accessible now that you can do it from your own living room!!! You won't regret it, I PROMISE!!!
