My husband and I are visiting from out of town and decided to stop by here for a few training sessions!

The owners Justin and Jodelyn Mercado are absolutely fantastic people and so sweet! When my husband came to train, Matt and his wife, Greta were teaching class and they were very sweet as well.

This definitely gives the MMA fighter Jim vibes. There was a BJJ class and a Muay Thai session (teenagers being coached by an adult) going on simultaneously while other people were working out on the gym equipment that was spread out around the gym.

There was a great sense of community here and it was very clean. I would highly recommend taking classes and lessons here for both adults and kids!

I can’t share enough positive energy and good vibes with this group. This family. My son Josiah is 15. He’s been in the game since he was 5. He loves it. When a local spot he was attending closed on us with no notice, we were fortunate enough to end up here at this amazing facility. They welcomed Josiah with open arms. Made him feel like family. That’s the vibe here. We did several private lessons with coach too because Josiah was learning so much each time. Thank you to everyone at Mercs. I’ve seen a young boy become a young man in the past year. You have instilled confidence, guidance and knowledge as professionals. All the members were all really awesome too. They were patient and engaging with my son. Even some pro fighters that are active are there. Josiah was always talking about the love expressed and how welcome he felt. I appreciate that. Coach. Mercs Jiu Jitsu is an amazing place to train Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Muai Thai, and MMA. Professor Justin Mercado also runs strength and conditioning classes daily. If you want to get in amazing shape, learn how to defend yourself, want to try your hand at Jiu Jitsu and competing, or are interested in trying out MMA, this gym and its coaches will get you there! I have been personally training under professor Mercado for over a year and cannot recommend him and the rest of the team higher! Did I mention there are daily kids’ classes?!

Simply amazing! More than a gym.

I've been training with Justin for two years now privately and have been HUNGRY for him to open his own gym. And I couldn't be happier.

He has built something amazing that reflects his enthusiastic, compassionate, and high standards personality.

Ive been to dozens of mma/bjj gyms and probably hundreds of traditional gyms in my life and there Is nothing that compares to the warm hearts of the Mercs family and what they have built. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed like family.

Not only is this place ran by an amazing couple, but the training is some of THE BEST I've had in 25 years of fitness. There is a wholistic approach and each session has a the proper mix of education and intensity.

There is a level of detail in every aspect of training. And while the gym offers group classes, each one has a one on one feel.

I can say enough great things about this place. You just have to check it out yourself!

The BEST gym in Colorado Springs. Professor Mercs and his wife have such a great hospitality. Everything is new and taken care of in the gym.
