Really disappointed in a situation with Kimberly. Had a stroke end of March and had bought several punch cards for yoga sessions through out the year until October. We have a cabin just up the hill and I have been going to yoga when in Frisco while my husband skies. Love, Love, Love walking to great yoga classes with Samantha, Katie and others the past 4 years.
Though recovering slowly the past few months I’m still unable to attend β€œhot” classes which are the norm in this studio. With only 8 punches left by October, Kimberly gave me an β€œextra month” to use them up. Then I had to pay the $25 renewal fee to keep the punches another year. Not a lot of empathy or care, especially for a regular. I’m feeling bad karma …

I took a Saturday morning class while in town visiting and enjoyed the space. The heated class wasn’t overly hot and the flow was challenging but not too hard. I also really liked the energy and vibe of the space. It was very relaxing and spacious.

This studio is excellent. I don’t really know what factors other β€œpracticers” use to measure a studios worthiness but if the practice itself is great. Nothing else is truly consequential. For example, it’s a small intimate studio with just 1 bathroom and feels like a community. I find that charming and indeed it was. It was filled with energy in the hot room. The practice was spiritually tuned and physically challenging. What a cool experience! I sweat my you know what off. I will only say for anyone coming from a lower elevation lifestyle. Do expect your lungs and stamina to struggle (potentially). Great experience! Couldn’t possibly complain!

Love Frisco and so happy to find a hot yoga studio right in town. Came to ski but need yoga. Juli was great, class was challenging, and heat perfect, especially when it’s snowing outside. Will definately go back, the drop in price includes a mat and towel. My only complaint, and I am a perfectionist , is they could have been a bit more welcoming.

Have never been to Meta. It was nice to try in Frisco since that’s where I stay when I’m up in the mountains. Class was good. Robyn is nice. Music was great. I’m a yoga instructor in Denver and love exploring new places.

Practiced at this studio when it was still called Summits (2021) and enjoyed it. Came back this summer (2023) and so far have only taken a hot vinyasa class. The class overall was fine although it was more like a slow flow than vinyasa. Prefer 60 mins classes to 75 minutes but since 30-45 mins was on the floor it is totally approachable for most. The yoga room is small and it did smell of sweat for the first class of the day. I appreciate that this space has a bathroom with a shower in (shared). Needless to say I appreciate the ability to practice while in Summit and will be back.

Lovely small boutique studio and a warm welcoming environment in downtown Frisco. I visit the studio when I’m in town visiting family that lives in the area. The teachers are very knowledgeable and I really enjoy the fun creative challenging sequences, really enjoyed! The temp is supposed to be 96 degrees, but with a very very full class (only 3-4” between mats) it’s a lot hotter than that. I found myself unable to practice at my usual level because the heat was too intense. (For reference I also teach yoga at 95 degrees, so I am accustomed to heat) The teachers assisted by opening the door from time to time to help alleviate. This is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

I was so frazzled when I arrived. I had been stuck in traffic, so sprinted the last few yards. The instructor, without interrupting those already practicing, welcomed me with warmth and kindness. The practice was so psychicly gentle, I would go back again and again. Thank you so much to all who support this place.

Comfortable and easy experience. I went for the first time and the teacher who greeted me was informative, showed me where everything was. The hot yoga room was (indeed) HOT! It was an easier flow, I would have enjoyed additional prompts and some hints/tips on what hot yoga "does" for the body and how to recover effectively.

Small and intimate studio. The instructors were all friendly and helpful. I bought a 3 pack of passes but will not be using the third one. Each time I went I felt very judged by the other participants (they are all very skilled in yoga and I’m a beginner). I was very uncomfortable.

Frisco Meta is a great studio. Incredible teachers. Welcoming to young/old, beginner/advanced, men/women/other, etc, etc. Larger class sizes and not many indoor options that are not hot/warm (I believe you'd need to go to Breck or outdoor special sessions in the summer for that). But if you are willing to drive/bus/bike to Breck (only 10isch minutes away), then you have the best of both worlds with the same studio - since hot/warm is soooo nice in the winter!.

There aren't many hot yoga studios outside Denver so I actually planned a trip around this one in Frisco and was not disappointed. The yoga room is small but hot! The community is great with teachers who love yoga and make class fun and challenging. The altitude makes it hard for somebody like me who's not used to it but that just adds to the challenge. Can't wait to try their sister studio in Breck!

I took a drop in class with LaTonya and found her to be extremely knowledgeable for anyone who has practiced yoga for years. I had a good class and enjoyed her sequencing. While she could be a bit intense at times, I probably wouldn't feel comfortable if I was new to yoga. My only reason for not wanting to return is the wall of mirrors. If you like practicing yoga in front of a mirror, this is perfect for you. It's not my style. Also, I had to rent a mat for $2 and was disappointed that the mat was slippery, thin and old. So, lesson is bring your own mat.

I like hot yoga. I think something has changed in this studio though and it feels more power infused and very few instructors seem to ask about injuries or adjust or give variations. I'm not sure how someone who do beginning yoga here. I like the soft floor & the energy and I know where to get a workout forsure. For me I need more variety and meditative practices added into the workout feel & feel there must be a balance. I would like more male instructors. I like the challenge a lot but I risk over doing it and injury. I love they have a shower. I enjoyed the BARRE class it was like a dance class very strengthening however not a lot of yoga. I would love more time options and later classes like even 8pm. I loved Kat P. classes. I know it's hard to taylor to everyone but maybe with the right suggestions things will slowly adapt. I also should have asked more questions and gone slower a lot. Will keep trying month memberships rotating with the other studios on the area. Its so close to my house and the only true hot yoga here & I love the detox of a good heavy sweat! Maybe more Yin instruction would be cool!

I went to a Hot Yoga 90 minute today. Deby taught a great class. The studio is nice, clean and professional.

I am a very regular hot yoga participant. I always practice Bikram. While the class at Summit was not exactly the 26 postures, it was very comfortable and easy to follow.

If you need your yoga fix while up in Summit, go visit these guys.

I really like this studio a lot. The people are very friendly and the instructors welcoming and kind. Their is something for everyone, from the gym style workout, pop music classes with a little asana thrown in to call it yoga ( not my thing, but a packed class by the way ), to the grounding, meditative physically challenging, yet insightful classes we yogis all love. All the instructors know good sequencing and are focused on safety. The warmth is great when it is snowy and chilly outside, like you are in the tropics. The only challenge for me with a couple of the instructors was again...not enough "yoga type music"... I prefer to feel like I am in a yoga studio and not the gym :) Namaste!!
