Highly recommended for youth and teens to learn the basics of weightlifting. The coaches stress the importance of form and proper technique while keeping the training fun/exciting for the kids. Our son really enjoys Mighty Movement and will continue with Teen Weight Lifting after recently graduating from Youth Weightlifting. Thank you!

My 9 year old loves sports but has been just a little weaker than the others and has struggled with self confidence issues due to that. How lucky we are to have found mighty movement! He's been working hard there with an amazing and supportive coach and has been getting both stronger and more confident. The staff is supportive and amazing. Such a great place for kiddos to learn safe lifting skills

My 8 year old son did the Little Lifters classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings over the summer. He loved it! He was so impressed with how much his body could do at each class. It was a fun and healthy activity.

I started at Mighty Movement a few months ago and I love it. I had been doing a bit of weight training prior but this is really next level for me. I love the structure of the classes - both supervised and independent - and the flexibility of scheduling. The coaches are gems and the vibe is relaxed. I am so happy that I found them. ❤️

Fantastic place to get strong! The programming is designed to work whether you are a beginner or seasoned athlete. I've found over the years that the only way I can meet my fitness goals is with scheduled routine, consistency, and if someone tells me what to do. I also dislike gym competitiveness, so Mighty Movement is great because every class is structured as me vs. me. Coach Carly is wonderful in guiding and coaching, which I need since I'm introduced to new things in class.
For those fitness geeks: I'm 41, 130# and typically stay in zone 2 & 3 for the workout. I joined for accessory strength training, adding this to doing crossfit 5x/week, karate 2x/week, and active recovery on Sundays.

Ok I wasn’t too sure about this when I started but now I’m three weeks in and I’m soooo happy I joined, I’m stronger and so much more confident working with weights. I want to share my story as this gym is just starting and there’s such an amazing opportunity right now to get a really intimate small group training experience at a great price.
I’m a mom of a 2.5 year old and while I have a somewhat strong core from Pilates I was so out of shape when I joined and gone to the gym in like two months at least. I’ve always loved core strengthening since I had some pelvic floor recovery to do after giving birth but I’ve always struggled to really strengthen my arms and legs holistically and over come my tennis elbow and bad wrist I got from carrying trays when I was a waitress. I would always start strengthening too hard and re-injure and have to stop.
The way the program is designed at Mighty Movement is awesome, you do the same sets each week for four weeks, Monday is lower body, Weds is whole body and Fri is upper body and you get to choose two days per week to come (and spoiler - all three days really whole body). There’s an app you use to track your progress and add a little more weight each week and the repetition is great as it allows you to really master your form and track your gains.
About the coaches: The owner coach Neil is super supportive, I pushed it too hard in my intro session (my legs were not ready for unassisted full squats)
and when I called him to tell him I was hobbling around, he was so happy to set my start date back and offer modifications so I didn’t over exert again.
Carly is the main coach that runs all classes and she is super down to earth, she always pushes me to try hard things but is supportive and receptive when I need to back off, offering lots of modifications as needed and has helped me improve my form a lot.
Overall I’m so excited to feel stronger without triggering my old injury, more confident working with weights, and genuinely enjoy the workouts in a way I haven’t in the past. This is a great program for anyone who feels intimidated by strength training and wants to see measurable results. Also a great setting for anyone doesn’t have the time or financial capacity to work one on one with a trainer, it’s honestly better than 1:1 because you get the personalized attention plus the energy and pacing of a group experience.

My 7th grade son has been attending the Learn to Lift class for a few months and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The coaches are amazing, both in teaching safe form, but also in their encouragement of the kids. We have seen a positive shift in his confidence and he is very proud of his muscles!

My son isn’t the “sporty” kid. He enjoys rifling and Sea Cadets. He loves free play and spending time with his friends.
He needed a focused fitness approach to meet the expectations of Sea Cadets. I also think it’s very important to learn overall fitness and strength training as a lifetime commitment to health. We signed up for Mighty Movement and he is so happy. He enjoys his coaches and appreciates their dedication to helping him achieve his fitness goals. As a result, we have a 10 year old confident young man finding his way in the gym prioritizing good form with strength training.
Great job Mighty Movement! Welcome to Louisville!

My son has absolutely LOVED participating in Mighty Movement. He comes home from school and is excited to get ready and out the door to class. Not only are the coaches so positive and encouraging- they help provide a solid foundation not just for strength training, but body awareness and appreciation. The facility and equipment is great (and clean!) and we appreciate the open communication! Definitely recommend.
