Whatever you learned in hot power yoga style classes, HIIT, cross-fit, or trendy studio chains with pilates style routines, yet your soreness was off, then think about it.
You are worth the money and time to correct yourself with guided help from proper pilates reformer and movement instructors.
The challenge will be to relearn posture, breathing, alignment, movement, and momentum. Once it “clicks in” you will make a conscious effort to move, stand, and sit differently. Healthier habits that payoff at any age and physical level.
It’s not just a 60 min workout! Do it!

The absolute BEST Pilates studio in Denver! Time flies when visiting this studio! I have learned so much about my body and how to correctly move it. The instructors are amazing and truly care about helping you understand your body and how to properly use it. After every session whether it’s reformer or Corealign, I take something new home with me to incorporate in my everyday life.

As we know, the MindBody app can be glitchy and outright inaccurate.
I signed up for a promo and there was nothing about the limitations of the promo, just said "10 classes for $170" and when I signed up it gave me a list of "qualified" classes, so I signed up for 4 - but suddenly wasn't able to.
Apparently, there was a ton of limitations that wasn't mentioned in the promo languaging. Those classes actually weren't included in the promo. The "open level" classes aren't actually open level, not even the "open level beginner-friendly" classes. The only one that are supposedly to be eligible were during work hours - which weren't detailed before I signed up for the promo.
The owner repeatedly told me I couldn't do the other classes, she changed me out of classes, and I myself attempted to change into the appropriate classes. But MindBody didn't keep up.
When I showed up to my second class per what MindBody had me signed up for, there was some confusion. She made a big stink about how I wasn't supposed to be in the class and she signed me up for a morning class and that I was "being unfair" towards someone who was waitlisted for not showing - even though I wasn't the one that signed up for the class and the app didn't show me being signed up for the class.
Then she started to talk to the instructor even though I was just a few feet away and said, "I told her she couldn't take those classes and she doesn't listen and I can't help it if people don't want to listen." As if I was the problem.
On top of all of that, when I reported the issue to MindBody, she emailed me listing off the timeline of the issue - all in an accusatory and excuse-heavy way. Even saying "there was a late cancel that YOU did". Yeah, because she spent a long time after my first class telling me I shouldn't be in those classes and I was just trying to respect her wishes and the limitations of the promo.
In the email that included MindBody, she was somewhat respectful. On the side, she texted me threatening to withhold my refund as you can see in the screenshot.
It was an extremely disappointing, inappropriate, and unwelcoming experience.

The instructors are very knowledgeable and thorough! I appreciated the attention to mind body connection, but the ratio of explaining to exercising was a little too high at times for my liking.

Lindsey and the entire Move Studios community is phenomenal. By far the best, most educated and welcoming instructors I've worked with in Denver. If you're looking for a good pilates studio, this is the place!

I have been getting private lessons from Lindsey Hanahan at MOVE Studios for PT after I was in a major car accident and I could not be more grateful for her help. She is absolutely amazing, patient and kind. Her knowledge of the mechanics of the human body is superb and she is absolutely wonderful to work with. I can't recommend this studio enough. Check them out! I look forward to the day that I am ready to do group classes here.

I am working one-on-one with Lindsey Hanahan and she is phenomenal. Often in an effort to turn on certain muscles, Lindsey breaks the movement down to it's most basic initial move to help me restore movement and reduce pain. She clearly sees and knows how all parts of the body work together for movement and function.

Fantastic
Move studio and Lindsay have played a huge part in addressing my (probably lifelong) bad posture habits. Starting with a detailed evaluation of my strengths and weakness, Lindsay helped me build strength where needed and flexibility where needed.
A good listener, Lindsay fine tuned my exercises, helped me achieve pain free sleep, and really helped me focus on TA and pelvic strength. I am encouraged with my progress and am encouraged to keep on working. Very happy with Move studio and their unique program.

I have been going to Move Studios for a year and a half and it has been a game changer for me. Their Oov classes were the perfect stepping stone after recovering from a concussion (I still go to those). Betsy, the Oov instructor is amazing when it comes to modifications and making sure we're balanced. She's also great for hypermobility.
I took my first Pilates reformer class with Kit recently and it was great. She understands hypermobility, from utilizing foam pads to help engage my muscles better to watching closely to make sure I'm not hyperextending.
I'm looking forward to continuing to work with all the instructors there. They're helping me get my strength back, in a safe manner as I deal with chronic pain and hEDS.

I see a few instructors at MOVE Studios. They are all amazing! After just a few sessions, they had helped my knee pain, which I'd had for years. And they have helped me get muscles firing that multiple other people couldn't figure out why they wouldn't fire. If you have any pain, or just want to learn how to move better, I highly recommend MOVE Studios!

After moving to Denver from New York, and as a Pilates enthusiast, instructor and life-long learner, it was important to find a place where I could continue my Pilates journey. I was very happy to find MOVE - and Lindsey - where instructors teach with a focus on the fundamentals of classical Pilates, as well as anatomy and movement. Classes are both challenging and enjoyable, and I always leave feeling that I got more than I expected!

Lindsey is such a great instructor. I came into pilates knowing nothing, but left feeling stronger and less achy. I had to move recently and started going to Club Pilates, it just wasn’t the same level of personalization. The smaller classes at this studio allowed me to feel like I could follow along and ask questions. Sucks that I had to move because I really enjoyed coming here for several months.

Amazing small business with intimate classes with excellent personal attention and adjustments during each class. Classes are taught by very knowledgeable instructors who are hands-on, and appropriate for beginners and advanced practitioners. I am a very active person, but this opened up a whole new understanding of how my body works. Would recommend to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of their bodies movement.

Like another reviewer, I was pointed to Move Studios by a physical therapist. Classes and private sessions here were SO helpful as I dealt with complicated movement issues and back pain - I learned a lot and got way more aware. Lindsey is really committed to her students. The studio's beautiful, and hybrid/online options were a lifesaver during the pandemic. Thank you! :-)

Lindsey has saved my life. I know this sounds excessive, but any other words wouldn't be enough. When I first came to Lindsey, post back surgery, I was completely afraid and didn't know how to move. Working with Lindsey has helped me to get my life back...a life I haven't known for the past 20 years. Now I can hike, swim and just move without pain. And I know I am always safe in the studio with Lindsey. I am not someone who trusts easily with respect to my back and body...and I trust her wholeheartedly.

As a longtime client of Move Studios, I am so happy to continue to be able to take classes remotely. It helps me keep my momentum, and I'm happy to not be losing all of the work I have done over the years. These online classes are sometimes even harder than they are in the studio! Working with Move Studios has decreased my pain and improved my mobility substantially, and I would be lost without them!

Most individual attention you’ll get at any studio in this town. I’ve worked with all the instructors here—they’re each excellent and knowledgeable.
I’m doing online classes and privates now—give it a try—you can stay fit in the safety of your home and lift your spirits at the same time.

I’m a long time client of Move Studios and I’m so impressed with their switch from in-person to remote classes and individual sessions!
I’ve taken a variety of classes and they all get my body moving- much more than I would on my own or from a pre-recorded class! And the individual MAT session I had really helped my body reset and taught me how to do the techniques on my own, to be able to use anytime!
The quality of instruction and small class sizes work just as well online as they do in their studio! Keep up the great work, Move Studios!

Well it's Kara N these days, but it used to be Kara P. haha!
I love Lindsey and MOVE Studios! Awesome classes, great equipment and fantastic guidance and teaching! MOVE was recommended to me by a friend knowing I had neck and back issues from a car accident, saying that Lindsey was the only one she trusted to make sure she was doing things correctly, and I couldn't agree more! I was doing Class Pass, but I quit that and just go to this studio now. There's all kinds of great offerings - I've tried Reformer, Mat Class, Core Align and I'm beginning her pelvic floor series next week! I love them all and I have certainly trimmed up this year as well. Lindsey not only makes sure you are doing things correctly, but also explains why so you can go forth with your own knowledge. I would highly recommend this studio for anyone!

This is by far the best pilates studio in Denver. The studio is beautiful, people are friendly, and the instructor/owner is so knowledgeable and talented. After recently relocating from NC I joined class pass. After my first class here I was hooked and canceled my class pass to only go here. Lindsey is a phenomenal teacher that constantly corrects your form while explaining why we do things a certain way. Every class is different with new challenges to push ourselves. I have suffered from back pain and had to do something about it. I could barely walk when I first came here and feel so strong and confident! Going to this studio works to strengthen my core and help with my back pain. I feel great and look forward to all of the amazing classes this studio has to offer!!

MOVE Studios truly embodies the concept of movement education, and you could not ask for a more knowledgeable teacher than Lindsey. I was referred specifically to this studio by a physical therapist, and after working with Lindsey I completely understand why. She strongly emphasizes excellent form, quickly noticing and taking into account each student's difficulties (injuries, postural issues, movement habits, etc.) and helping them correct their movement patterns accordingly. I highly recommend this studio for all levels, whether you want to safely start a fitness routine or are an expert mover looking for a challenge.

Move Studios is more of a physical therapy and treatment center than a typical workout. Don't get me wrong, if you do it right, you will be sore and Pilates is extremely effective. The owner Lindsey has a strong personality, that you will grow to love. She cares more about you getting it right then just going through the motions. She is always taking a new class or specialty to learn more ways to help her clients thrive. She helps people recover and rebuild from injuries and really teaches you how your body works.

I first came to Lindsey as a complete beginner to Pilates, and tried out her introduction week. I am so happy I did! Lindsey works with you to ensure your form is 100% correct. I have now been to Pilates studios all around Denver and Lindsey is the absolute best about form correction, which is so important in Pilates. She is the top in town! Lindsey is passionate about what she does and the passion shows in her teaching. She is hands on. The studio is always clean and class sizes are welcoming. I highly recommend Move Studios to any new students or Pilates regulars.
