We cant say enough about our experience with Outrun. Our youngest started classes before he was 5, way back at the old gym in 2017 and was able to channel his no fear attitude and have confidence to compete against the oldest kids. Our youngest started later, but loves it so much, as it builds his confidence and helps him focus to achieve higher levels and harder obstacles. Justin and all the coaches are encouraging, patient and passionate about kids learning this sport. We choose the drive from Greeley every week to be here and highly recommend this gym!

My oldest has enjoyed learning and growing at Outrun since before it was called Outrun. They have a great program and excellent support for young people that want to climb all over stuff and flip around while challenging themselves physically

The greatest place known to mankind right here. Not a soul but Travis, Justin and Jesse Clark could’ve cooked this jawn to such perfection. As I lay my eyes upon the barren metal walls of this gym, I feel nothing but ecstasy and raw testosterone flowing through my veins. 10/10, would donate all my money to again.

Outrun Parkour has been an incredible part of our family’s life. My son has been training here for 4–5 years, moving from Youth Level 1 to Youth Level 3, and it’s hard to imagine his world without this community. He’s found real friendship, mentorship, and confidence in this space. The Terra and Orbit programs have both been fantastic, and he especially loves the creative challenges like Overdrive and Duos.

The coaches here genuinely care about the kids, meeting them where they are while helping them to bring out the best in each other. Watching my son grow physically and socially has been one of the highlights of these past few years.

I’ve also had so much fun participating in the adult classes. I’ve built friendships and confidence I didn’t expect to find in a gym, and I am grateful for every coach. They all come across as genuinely dedicated to showing up with expertise, humor, and heart.

Outrun has shaped both of us in ways we couldn’t have predicted. I recommend it wholeheartedly for anyone looking for community, growth, and joyful movement.

I have been attending the adult women’s class for almost a year now and I love it. When I started, I basically had no athletic background and zero upper body strength. I wanted to start working out and Googled “working out for people who don’t like working out” and came across parkour. Ha ha! I think because it’s fun and feels like play (rather than doing monotonous reps at the gym) you get really strong without really realizing it.

If you have been turned off from sports in the past because of fear-based motivation, you won’t find that here. I am so much stronger physically and mentally thanks to the encouragement of my coaches, Lana and Beckett. They help build you up and encourage you no matter what level you’re starting at. All of the staff are encouraging and the gym has a good vibe. You’ll find all ages, skill levels, body types, etc.

My daughters (8 and 11) loved the summer kids camp and now participate in the youth girls class. They have nothing but good things to say about their class. They learn a variety of skills and always feel safe and comfortable as they work towards building up physical skills and confidence.

$25 for an hour is a bit pricy and closed 15 minutes earlier than advertised online. (8:00 not 8:15) This was annoying because we got in the gym at 7:25 so we only got 35 minutes instead of 50. Rules were also unclear. Besides that it was good exercise so not a total loss.

My kiddo has been going to Outrun for two years for parkour and parkour summer camps. The instructors are wonderful, and the activity fosters teamwork, calculated risk-taking, bravery, speed and agility. Best of all, this summer they offered an outdoor summer camp that was so imaginative and fun. They rode their bikes to different parks every day and did many different games and challenges. Best camp ever!

I had my son attend one of their weekly summer camps this year and I was very disappointed. We paid a lot of money for one week and unfortunately it wasn’t worth it.
My son is 12 and right before starting class they had the kids do some jumping jacks and squats, but they never had the kids stretch. My son came home very sore which is how I found out. Also, he didn’t have the proper shoes on the first day and was slipping while learning parkour. The instructor told him not to worry about it and that he would be fine. We bought him better shoes the next day. However, we really didn’t like the instructors attitude about being ok with my son slipping and hurting himself.
Another issue we had is we tried to get a hold of someone during class and the phone lines kept going to voicemail. When I called my son he passed the phone to an instructor and they couldn’t explain why no one was picking up the phones. They did not send out an email explaining who to call or how to be prepared.
Overall very disappointed with the way the business is run especially due to the price. Wouldn’t recommend for that age group.

Really great gym and the best place around if you want to learn parkour or even practice gymnastics/calisthenics. Just been going here a month or two and already learned a lot. Tons of coaches who know a lot and a lot of experienced people who go here who are always willing to teach anybody that asks. Classes as well as plenty of open gym time to try things on your own, practice what you’ve learned, and to get to know the other people there.

It seems like a small space but they have a ton in there, bars, spring floor, lots of various platforms and structures, mats, a giant airbag, balance beams, rings, weights, etc.

Free intro class too if you’re interested.

As our son gets ready to leave for college out of state, we reflect upon Will's time with Outrun Parkour over the last 8+ years. Will has gone from being a beginner parkour student at age 10 "just trying it out", to a fully engaged tween/teenager spending most days at the gym, to one of the first students to enroll in the more intense Overdrive program, to an 18-year old who has competed in many comps, as well as coached at summer camps. We can't thank the staff at Outrun enough for contributing so richly to Will's growth and development: Justin, Jesse, Travis, Michael, Olof, David and Dom in particular, but we have found all of the coaches engaging, encouraging, creative and talented. We have been impressed by how the coaches adapt to changing needs; altering equipment at the old gym to create new challenges and then working so hard to design and create their brand new dream gym! Outrun has helped our son really develop a lifelong passion for movement that does not end with his departure for college. We can't recommend Outrun Parkour enough!

Outrun Parkour is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. EVER. This has helped my confidence and ability grow in ways I never thought possible.
I joined during an insanely hard and messed up part of my life, and parkour has helped me through my struggles. I am so much better with all of that now than I was when I started.
I have always been a kid that struggles with social anxiety and just overall physical capabilities due to the fact I am smaller and traditionally less strong and big than most kids my age.
Parkour is giving me an advantage. You don’t have to be a body builder, totally jacked person to be able to do parkour. You can be tiny and “petite” like me.
The staff here are the nicest people on the planet and even though I attend a class with other students, they always find time to help students grow individually. It’s a place we’re you can learn but without the restraints of a “do this, do that” school setting. I have made friends and learned so much about myself through parkour. I love it here. This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I love watching myself grow through this. Thank you guys for this.
SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO LANA, TERRA INSTRUCTOR AND…dang it…I completely forgot his name I feel so bad…umm he usually wears a beanie has long dark hair, 5’ 7” tall, he teaches us as well!
But yeah, thanks to everyone there! You guys are so awesome and truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you. ❤️

Buyer Beware!

I paid in advance for classes for my 2 sons in 2021. This was well over $1000. After the classes were over, Outrun started charging my credit card for a "membership" -- which I never agreed to.

I was billed another $2188 on a monthly basis for this "membership" over 6 additional months. My children never returned to the gym after the pre-paid classes were over.

When I asked for a refund (in month seven, because the charges on my credit card were not clear), the co-owner, Jesse, said "We cannot refund payments that came prior to a written request for a membership drop."

This, even though, I never agreed to a membership. I asked for them to produce proof of my agreement, they could not.

Then Jesse said, "We need communication from the member when there is intention to drop or change membership. This is why we send email receipts. If there is ever confusion we will do our best to offer services to redeem value, but the business is not capable of long refunds in the current state of the economy."

He offered credit for classes, saying "We’ll also work with you to redeem unattended amounts towards classes or camps in a reasonable time. We want you to get your value, but the business can’t handle a refund of this size. If you can work with us we can make sure you get your value. If you choose to dispute the payments with the payment provider we won’t be able to issue any refunds nor allow you to redeem the services in another manner as this could greatly harm our ability to take payments."

I don't know if I will ever see my money, but I guess I helped keep their business "capable" while I was paying them for a monthly membership that I never agreed to.

I'm disputing the charges with my credit card provider, and I will never do business with Outrun Parkour again.

My boy left martial arts for this. It started off good but when they went to the new location there was no consistent instruction. I paid for private lessons yet they added another child to our sessions and my son who was more advanced had to wait for the other child to catch up. I asked them over and over to find another spot fir this other child, we were paying for a private lesson snd wanted them to honor that. It never happened. The instructors are young and do not model adult behaviors. They were late and allowed kids to goof off. One day they were late when they showed up, I sent my son down and the instructor sent him back upstairs as if he wanted to show he was in control. I left multiple emails but never once had the owner address my concerns. 189 a month for kids to play around was what it amounted to. I think it’s a great sport, but as a business owner, there must be more training with staff, they need to have the discipline first before they can teach the kids

Apex hosted my son’s 7th birthday party. It was a blast! We invited almost 15 kids and everyone was perfectly accommodated. There was a great mix of organized activity and free time fun. The facilities were safe and clean. The instructor was so positive and well liked by the kids. The highlight was surely the super game of hide and seek! Parents were welcome to stay or go and there was plenty of time provided for the price. We brought pizza and snacks and drinks and presents. I highly recommend Apex. In fact, since having such a great time, I have enrolled my son for weekly classes. It’s awesome! Definitely check it out!

Our son has been taking classes and visiting open gym every week for over a year and he absolutely LOVES it. We've tried introducing him to a lot of different activities over the years to limited success, but Parkour resonates strongly with him.

I give a lot of credit to the entire team at APEX. The owners and instructors are passionate and INCREDIBLY supportive of the students (as is the larger community of parents!) Our family really appreciates the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere we always encounter.

This place was showing a promo code for $25 off for a camp that was beginning June 24th. We registered our kids and noticed we didnt get the discount. When I asked what happened they said we were not eligible for the discount because they had enough kids sign up? Sounds like their promo code is decided by staff. Our kids will not be ging back there again. I consider finding another program for your kids that have a little more integrity. Originally gave it a one star. Manager called and honored the promo code.

Apex is amazing. I love this place. All the coaches are amazing, helpful, and fun to be around. And parkour is one of the best things that ever happened to me. It's fun, it's challenging, (which is good) it helps me push myself and do things I never thought I could. I've gone here for a year and a half, and I've gotten so much stronger and had so much fun. Parkour makes me feel better. I'm planning on becoming a coach. If you want something fun, active, and enjoyable, I would recommend this place in a second. Apex has changed my life for the better, and has become my happy place. (:

Our son (10 years old at the time) once asked how far away Chicago was from where we were living at the time. Answer: 6 hours. Why did he ask? Because that was the nearest place he found to learn parkour. A year ago we decided to move to Fort Collins because, well, why not? It's an awesome place. Then he was online last winter (again looking for parkour schools) and suddenly said, "MOM! Fort Collins has a parkour school!" Of course it does! We visited to check out schools (you know, the schooly/booky kind) and he was able to attend an open jam while we were in town. Life was never the same after that. He was already excited about the move but that put him over the top. 10 days after we moved to Fort Collins, he attended a week of summer camp at APEX, joined the next week, and--no joke--this kid who was already very wise and perceptive has matured about 2 years in the last 3 months. The move itself was a fantastic change, but his time at APEX has been a catalyst for helping him develop confidence, overcome some of his shyness, push himself physically, learn what it means to practice and persist, make new friends he can be himself with, and truly inhabit his body in a way that sometimes makes makes me tear up. He is truly in his natural habitat there.

As a parent and student at a dojo elsewhere, I was jaded by talk vs. walk regarding integrity and values, so I took a very cautious stance when we arrived at APEX. There are no big claims made about "character formation" as many martial arts programs do. Instead, it's organically injected into the coaching. After watching many of the coaches interact with kids, exchanging emails with the owners, taking the free adult class myself, and listening to other parents' opinions, I feel confident that not only is he learning parkour, but he's doing so in an environment of integrity that is respectful, supportive, and inclusive. My own training and study has shown me that boys need "uncles"--unrelated men in their lives to learn from, lean on, trust. Those connections matter more and more as boys grow toward manhood and try to stay anchored in who they truly are. So I especially evaluate male leaders in his life with the questions, "Is he someone I want my son to look up to? Do I trust him to model for my son what matters most?" Everything I've seen at APEX and from the coaches (male and female) says yes.

Very untrustworthy business practices that do NOT put the customer first. They need to make changes as soon as possible.

Let me explain: we went online to enroll our child (usually they have you commit to a 3 month class), and we were able to set up the monthly payment online as well. In the third month, we spoke to the instructors to confirm the last class date, and assumed that would be it. We received NO instruction from them that unless we canceled, we would continued to be billed for classes as IF we continued to re-enroll. We were not told by anyone at anytime that although they specify your class is "3 months long" and emphasize committing for that time period, their business practices are set up in such a way as to (seemingly) trick their customers, because the billing keeps happening even if your class is finished!

Here's where it goes way overboard. Once we found out about the extra charge, we contacted them via email to ask them to refund us and to cancel future payments. We were told the only way to cancel future transactions was to come IN PERSON to get a *special* form to fill out by hand to cancel.

So wait, this is 2017, and we CAN enroll and set up for automatic payment through the APEX website, but we CANNOT cancel by emailing, calling, or through the website? I want to give the benefit of the doubt here, but all I can see are signs of a business practice designed to make cancellation obtuse, and extra payments a likelihood. This is not the way to make customers first in your business.

One last example of APEX not putting their customers first. When we signed up for the class, we were told up front what time we would get for open gym. About 1 week after we signed up, they changed the open gym time. Wait - they asked US to commit to a 3 month class, but they don't have to commit to the time they promised to us as part of the class package? To be fair to them, they offered two other times to us: Sunday mornings, and a weekday at 8pm. If our child was a teenager, 8pm on a weekday might be fine. But our child is under 10... 8pm is bedtime. The point is, if you ask customers to commit to a time, then you have to commit to that time as well. And if unforeseeable business circumstances make it impossible to keep your commitment, then you have to go out of your way to make it up to your customer. We offered 3 options to APEX as alternatives that would have satisfied us, but they just essentially said they would think about it, then blew us off.

APEX has good instructors, great equipment, and a fun concept. But their business policies and employee training do NOT put customers first.
