They're ok. Clean and better than other gyms. Staff seems polite enough, I'm deaf and homeless and use the gym for showers and personal hygiene. But I can't shake the feeling that they think I'm a thief or I'm up to no good when I just want to take care of my health. Facilities are clean but hot water runs out quick. I have worked out a few times, it can be crowded, I prefer the bench press but it's almost always unavailable due to crowds. But good place, knocked off 1 star for how since people perceive me as a deaf guy in the gym using only the bathroom facilities. I'm just a regular guy tryna have a decent shower in the mornings.

This location is always dirty however three times in the last couple months during regular business hours they “close” the tanning and massage chairs for “cleaning”. This should be done early or late or when it’s closed. Not at prime 5-7pm. Tonight is a Tuesday night at 6pm! Ridiculous.

Let me just edit this to say that I am here right now at 6:10 PM and they have the whole back part with the massage beds and tanning beds closed for cleaning! This is getting so out of hand!

I always start my day bright and early, arriving right when they open. The staff consistently greet me with a smile and are eager to assist with anything I need. When I faced issues with my debit card, they were incredibly understanding and helped me sort it out effortlessly. The machines are always in excellent working condition and spotless. The locker room and showers are consistently clean, with warm water that’s always functional and operational, and a shout out to Homer at the Front desk for always helping

Unfortunately this location leaves a lot to be desired. My biggest issue is the fact that people come here to hang out and not work out. I know the establishment can’t control what people do but it is infuriating to try to work out in a place where people are just sitting at the machines on their phones or with their friends chatting not doing anything. This location also isn’t the cleanest but the staff seem polite. They always say hi when I come in. I now drive the extra time to go to another location to avoid the local Brighton kids hangout and phone zombies.

Great location & this Planet Fitness is like all others, which is awesome! I'm glad I had a familiar place to workout while visiting Brighton Colorado. When u walk in all u smell is sweat onion smell odor. Staff members just huddled up behind the counter. The men’s room was dirty. Tissue on floor, the whole floor was holding water from urinal, toilet and thru the changing stall, no wet floor sign was in place and someone could slip. No hot water in the showers as well and low water pressure. Come on planet fitness, this is the first location I’ve been too that’s bad.

I recently started going back to this planet fitness, it's convenient and close by. Unfortunately, it seems that they don't have anyone doing any type of maintenance or cleaning in the restrooms(or frankly anywhere around the facility). The floors and toilets are constantly dirty and there is always hair all over the floor in the women's room as well as toilet paper and drops of blood, pretty disgusting honestly. Locker and restroom cleaning should be a daily chore that is required by management. Upon reading other reviews of other customers and management responding regarding the cleanliness, it doesn't seem like the owner really gives a shit about it either or else all the issues multiple people have stated would be addressed in the 2 years (or longer) this has been going on. The machines are old and they don't seem to keep up on any maintenance on them or replace them for anything newer, seems to be the case in all of Brighton no matter where I go.

I have been coming to this location for 8 months. I have yet to be greeted from staff when entering. Staff is extremely unprofessional. For instance on one occasion a gentleman who is employed by planet fitness well I think so although he never is properly uniformed and has tattoos head to toe. This gentleman had grabbed my forearm aggressively and readjusted my hand for me when attempting to scan in and there scanner wasn’t scanning the barcode on my phone. Extremely rude never coming back.

When I started coming to this gym 6 years ago it was always clean and equipment was kept up and clean. Now, 2025 this place has hit an unbelievable low in cleanliness and keeping up their equipment. I have complained before about the bathrooms clearly not being cleaned for several days in a row to only fall upon deaf and uncaring staff members ears. They just continued to play on their phones or sit on the couch in the black card room. Today takes the cake! I seen a cockroach in the pf 360 room! Gross!

And I have been holding off on a review to see if they will eventually EVER clean their facility.

I understand wiping down my machine afterwards, but the tanning booth IS STILL DISGUSTING. To be honest, I'll update photos... the walls are COVERED in tanning lotion from people applying it, the actual floors both in the booth and out are STICKY and covered in dirty lint and debris.
I can PROMISE you that this stand up both has not been cleaned since I wrote this original review, when I moved here 2 years ago. I've told the front desk and they tell me it's my job to wipe it down.... it's beyond help. 🫣🫣🫣

I posted this last week. Here’s an update. I just took another picture of the same bathroom stall and it looks even worse and you can tell it still hasn’t been clean It’s obvious the same disgusting piece of whatever is still sitting in the same exact spot.
The clock has been set to the right time.
It’s amazing that they have time to respond to their reviews, but they have no time to actually fix the problems!!!

As of lately, the bathrooms are always disgusting! I was told just now they clean them every day, but this is what they look like every day this week. When I ask about the clock set for the right time, they say that I have access to it and the managers refused to do anything about setting the right time. Seems pretty silly to have a clock that does not have the correct time on it. When I talk to one of the other guests, they said that the manager manager hired friends to clean the bathrooms, and they obviously don’t be their job!!! It would be nice for all the receiving to actually take care of simple things that shouldn’t even be asked to be done.
Maybe this will get the managers intention, so they will do something about it

Morning staff is great after 5am it gets packed and people tend to hog the machines. They set down a duffle bag or phone and do 2-3 machines at a time. It's annoying didnt know you could be split into 2 people. Other people need to get going as well and with that hold up can't really get a good workout.

The facility is very good and the equipment is clean but I had to quit for the strangest reason. Billing date was on the 18th and my pension date was on the 3rd.. living on a fixed pension is hard to do when the dates were mixed. I paid on the 3rd but they wouldn’t accept it until the 18th. Now living with a fixed income and caring for others well let’s say that stretches it a bit. I had a chance to rejoin with my silver sneakers insurance program but chose not to because new health spa has a pool and I do water aerobics. I may rejoin but only on prepaid monthly program. I liked on occasion working out at midnight up to two on nights I felt compelled to tip a bottle at the pubs.

Is this condition resultant of the patrons, or is it that the management is indifferent? As I read through the reviews, it seems that the owner's usual response to dissatisfaction is to invite the customers to discuss their issues privately. But isn't this merely a way to gather information and potentially turn the blame onto the users who are expressing concerns about the subpar service?

If the problems are clearly articulated in the reviews, why is there a need for further private discussion? This approach makes me question whether there's a lack of critical thinking or, worse, a willful ignorance for the sake of profit. It seems as though the owner's financial success comes at the cost of underpaying the employees and neglecting the image of the business. Easy to get a membership but trying to cancel your membership is impossible. We got a new membership at a gym that fits our needs because we’ve outgrown planet fitness (normal) but yet it’s like pulling teeth to cancel. Original Post: Since I wrote this over 7 months ago, this place is the worst Planet Fitness in the Denver Metro area. They have broken equipment that they have not fixed in over 2 months, pads that are cracked and have not been replaced on workout equipment, the mens bathroom only has one functioning hand dryer, they stay open until 10 pm M-F, stay open until 7 pm on weekends., no one is ever at the front desk after 9 pm so good luck trying to get on a massage bed/chair, if you do find someone after 9:30 at the desk they say they can't let you on the tables because it takes them 10 minutes to warm up (what does that mean?), they have no slamming balls and the bathrooms and showers stink because they have sewer backup issues with water draining correctly.

Every other Planet Fitness is open 24 hours except these guys. They turn off the lights on you if you are dressing in the shower area/ locker room. They start yelling for people to leave right at 10 pm.

If there were another place to work out in Brighton, I would go there.

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with planet. Where do i begin... First of theyre missing many good workout machines. They're over saturated with treadmills that no one uses... from the 30 treadmills, they have only 10 get used at max, they're always out of supplies, they don't have full body mirros in the locker rooms which is a must in today's gym lifestyle... The fees have gone up for black cards, and the drink prices are outrageous... $4+ for an e nergy drink, really... I've gone to other locations, and quite frankly, i am not happy with no one... I go in the morning and spend at least 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. The massage beds/chairs are fantastic. I use the tanning bed/booth (I prefer the bed). I also take advantage of the Totalbody enhancements. Equipment is clean and well kept. I have had great success at this location.

Staff is non existent. I tell all my friends in Brighton that this is a free gym since no one is ever working the desk. I sat there today for 15 minutes for a barbell pad for my wife and not a single person around. I started bring my own wipes because when the older guy is working there are never towels at the cleaning stations. Planet fitness in general has a bad reputation in the lifting world so they really have little room for error.

couldn’t ask for more. i went in to ask about the gym memberships and the guy there helping me was very sweet i don’t currently have a membership but i will soon thanks to his help! i’m 16 and my parents usually absolutely REFUSE to sign gym waivers. it’s weird because i have a car, i have a job, i can afford it and i have my license they just don’t want me having a gym membership for some reason but he helped me find a way around it. i’m gonna try to get my parents to do it, but if i can’t i’ll go down to lakewood or get my brother in oklahoma to help me. thank u to the guy who was helping me i really appreciate him! :3

Really wish Brighton had some other options as far as gyms. Would be great if VASA would open a location here. Most of the staff is great, but a couple of times a week, there is an old guy that works the mornings. He is the laziest employee! He sits with his back to the door, won't greet customers, and can't be bothered to get off his cell phone unless its to try and flirt with various women (both co-workers & customers). Multiple wipe down stations sit with no paper towels whenever he works. DO BETTER PLANET FITNESS!

Too much focus on cardiovascular for the space this building has, understood you don't want bodybuilding,or power lifters, but the clientele are always waiting on free weights or machines...times are changing..need to changes with them and still be who you are

I really like how you can cancel your membership anytime. The equipment seems to be in decent condition however I primarily use the treadmills or rowing machine. The staff is very friendly. I enjoy the massage lounges after my workout. The drink selection is nice. The whiteboard surveys are neat. Improvement wise, would like to see more classes, and more staff working the front desk.

I am disgusted. Lately and pretty often the tanning beds are never clean and the floors look like they haven’t been swept in months. Literally sticking to the floors. I’m so grossed out. What is the front desk paid to do exactly?? I talked to them and they said it’s only cleaned on the weekends but it still doesn’t looks like it’s been cleaned ever!!! Just moved to Brighton from Lakewood and got a membership here. Been here a few times and it's a really nice facility. It's clean, staff is friendly and they have a lot more options than the Lakewood ones. I look forward to putting in work here 💪

Compared to other planet fitnesses, this one is quite sub-par. All of the machines are old, and there always seems to be either cleaner or paper towels missing to wipe down machines.The bathrooms are pretty gross most of the time as well and unfortunatelyfor the time i go there is always alot of people (the gym itself isnt that large so it gets pretty crowded). It's the closest gym to my location currently so I use it for that but if I wanted to, I'd be a bit more happy using one of the other planet fitnesses that just are a little bit better.

Surprisingly disgusting . Management should be handing out write ups . Who ever is working the front desk are lazy employees.. I had mentioned that the ladies locker needed some very much tlc over flowing trash can and dirt and bits of trash on the floor . The boys said o ok . I worked out for 45 mins and nothing was done still dirty when I left . The machines had water bottle caps in the holders ,paper towels through out the gym .. very disappointed in our local gym you're getting paid to do a job so do it !

Over gym is really good majority of staff does a great job except late in the evening after 7 when there might as well be no one working. The two love birds that work in the evening are constantly disappearing to the back room for hrs at a time leaving no one at the desk or replacing cleaning equipment. Usually find a line of people waiting to buy something or use their black card with no one around. Even if you manage to get a hold of them on the phone the two specifically stop allowing anyone to use the black card amenities an hr before because that would require them to be up front instead of hiding in the backroom together. Really shock they would allow that to happen on such a regular basis.

I have been a member here at the gym in Brighton Co since it opened. It has gone to totally down hill. The owner and manager obviously does not over see the day to to day operations. The manager/staff does not keep the ladies locker room clean or in good operating condition. The sinks and counter top is always dirty, only one soap dispenser works and has been that way for months, only one hand dryer works and that has been the case for well over a year! The televisions not all seem to broadcast to the headsets to the cardio equipment, no one seems to know how to fix that as well as the hand dryer or broken equipment. I just do not understand where all the gym membership money they receive goes is not going back into the gym itself for repairs!! Just sayin….

Be careful , this location has an employee or manager that is a thief !! They cut the lock off of my locker , took everything out and can not find my things... Tennis shoes, shorts , headband, headphones and deodorant. They stole them !!!

The staff are very friendly, but overall it's not my favorite Planet Fitness I've been to. The balance on the types of machines seems a little odd (there are a huge number of ellipticals and treadmills, but you often have to wait to use abdominal weight machines). The biggest room for improvement is cleanliness. There are visibly lots of dust bunnies around the edges of the different rooms and the women's locker room is kind of gross.

I love coming and the staff here is really nice and helpful 🙂. wish the hours on weekends were extended like during the week. Also the women bathrooms need attention toilets are dirty and I come in 4-5 days a week and looks like they aren’t cleaned often. The hand drier is always out. Also while on treadmill I like to plug in my headphones and sucks that more than half the time the tvs are not synced to the right number or they just plainly doesn’t work. And not all channels can be heard. I have been coming to this gym for about 4 yrs and has declined in its cleanliness and making sure things are restocked especially toilet paper.

Customer service could be improved by sending a mass email or updating the individual websites. Really, what a waste of time. Almost everyone is on the internet or social media these days. We moved from the area to an area that has no Planet Fitness

A lot of broken weight machines and missing barbells. Staff abandons the front desk frequently. Multiple times I’ve had to wait long periods of time for help due to staff kinda just disappearing from the desk area. Overall my least favorite PF I’ve been to. Would be much better with proper weights and staff that can be found when needed.

Wow sure glad I checked reviews before I joined online .. I just moved to Brighton and am a current member at vasa in Thornton but wanted join a gym closer to home because I work nights ... but equipment issues, Cleanliness, theft , the only planet fitness not 24 hrs and you want 3 bucks more than Vasa which has a pool and steam room !!! Very disappointed but I'll stay at vasa and make the trip ... NO BUENO

I've been a member for multiple years. I took a month off and came back for the first time today, and was very impressed to see the staff actively working and cleaning! IF YOU ARE USING A COMBINATION LOCK THINK TWICE SOMEONE IS OPENING LOCKS AND STEELING ITEMS!!!!!The only reason I give a 1 star to this planet fitness is because of the incident I had the night of 7/22/22. From the time I left my backpack in a locker with a combination lock to the time I returned to restroom was only about 40 minutes and someone had opened my combination lock and STOLE my wallet. I know that cause of privacy issues they can’t have any security/video in locker area and it’s hard to pin point the person responsible. He could of just took the little cash I had and left everything else there.

I enjoy going to this gym but I really signed up thinking I'd have a 24hr gym to go to once covid restrictions passed. Other locations have returned to 24hrs except this location.
This location is conveniently located a couple blocks from me but I have to go to Thornton if I want to use a 24hr location.
I work overnights so the current hours make my workout times very limited. :(
