I am a 62 year old woman, very scared of gyms at this age, young people recording everything on the phone, making fun of others, but this gym had change my way of thinking, is very clean no recording allowed, not making fun of anyone in this gym you BELONG no matter how old you are every one has a smile in their faces and the employees know your name, very helpful, I LOVE MY GYM, will continue going until I can no more. I am giving it a 110 % and 10 stars if I could.

If you’re thinking about going to this planet fitness, be aware that they will double charge your account and not refund you for it. They will act oblivious as if they didn’t double charge you when it shows in your bank account that they double charged you. $120 in just two months for planet fitness is outrageous. When they say that their plans are supposed to be 25.49 a month for black card.

I have been a member for two month. I like Planet Fitness much more than Vasa in Colorado Springs. Planet Fitness is clean and never smells like sweat. The main reason I like this Planet Fitness is because it's not overly crowded.

Cancel subscription thru the app, couple months later. I get charged $39.48 for the subscription that I canceled out through the app, not getting refund.This is ridiculous!

I was became a member the day it opened, thought it was cool having access to so many machines. Then the one abdominal machine broke and it has never been repaired for 6 months. I asked the manager why it hasn't been repaired and was told that it still functions as it should (really).The owners are partisan clowns will not play FOX news GOP based not Fox 21. after numerous requests but gladly every other TV will play CNN at times. I went back to my other GYM anytime fitness and noticed something rather interesting. The PF machines are calibrated incorrectly, they dumb down the machine. 3.9 MPH treadmill is 5.5 at PF. Thank God they don't Judge and serve donuts.

Planet Fitness in Cañon City is almost perfect. The gym is clean, well-lit, never intimidating, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s exactly what I needed to get back on track—especially as a working mom trying to juggle health, work, and real life.

I love the early morning access, the massage chairs, the Black Card perks, and the calm, no-pressure vibe. It truly feels like a judgment-free zone, and I actually look forward to my workouts now.

BUT… I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I really wish they had the Total Body Enhancement machine and a sauna. That combo would make this gym unstoppable. (Planet Fitness corporate—hint hint 👀)

Still—if you’re looking for an affordable, welcoming, and well-maintained gym in Cañon City, this is the one.

I have been attending the Canon City location for a few weeks now and arrive around 7:30am. Everyday there are numerous bags of trash piled near the door in the 30 minute exercise room.I asked the staff why it wasn't thrown out and they said they are not allowed to leave the building until a second co-worker arrives. I then pointed to the second employee standing next to her. They both got quite and then admitted they just don't like to. It's very unsanitary and when I walked around the building to find the location of the dumpster, the door to the weight room has the door that leads right to it, not even the 30 minute room! Take out the trash

I’ve been lifting consistently for three years and was interested in a new workout location with a larger variety of weight machines. Planet Fitness seems to fit my needs very well. There are a wide range of machines, often more than one of the same type, which makes it great on busier days. I don’t use the cardio machines, but if you do, they have a very large variety. The facility is very clean, and the employees have been helpful. I’m still new to Planet Fitness, but so far I really like it.

I should have given 0 stars. I say that to say I have been to several Planet Fitness gyms and this one is definitely the worst. There is no hot water in the shower stalls. I told one of the staff members, a blonde haired large woman. She acted like I was either lying or didn’t know how to work the dial to get hot water. I felt insulted. She walked away from me when I was trying to speak to her. Very unprofessional, wouldn’t waste money at this location. Stop being cheap turn the temperature up on your boiler.There are other gyms in the area and many hiking trails for exercise.

Tried to cancel before the annual gym fee 4/1 and I cancelled 3/3 and was still charged. I paid through April and shouldn’t have to pay the gym fee for the next year. What a joke, they added it the day I cancelled my account. Still wanted that money

I quit due to the price increase. Otherwise it's okay. This location is still pretty clean. But I just can't see paying the new price for a couple of visits per month, when we have so many great trails in the area. It's so easy to get exercise outside here, and I don't have to put up with such unpredictable "music" play lists. Sometimes it sounds like wounded animals masquerading as music.

The TV screens could just go. That would save a ton of money, since everyone has a phone to look at.

So, three stars for an unwelcome 50% price increase.

Duuuuude! I've been a nomad for 8mths, traveling the US & have been to dozens of PFs since they're the primary spot I can shower at. This one tho...THIS ONE THO!!! The water pressure made me a new woman & not to mention the locker rooms were very clean...almost too clean...did something happen? Nevermind, not my business.
ALSO, hands down the best massage chair. I felt like it actually cared about me on a personal level. I'm literally debating on staying in town an extra day just to visit this lovely spa/Planet Fitness again.

Beware of this location, they use pressure and lie to push you to join. Their website says 39 starter fee and 49 annual, which is standard, but then it says offer expires soon, and that confused me so I called the Canon City location, and what he said was the starter fee sometimes goes up a few dollars, which it doesn't, unless it's nationwide. So you don't get a discount now , and it isn't going to change after June 14, so you have a business being dishonest, and I will have nothing to do with that kind of business and I want to warn you, so you can make an informed decision. I hope you pass on them, but that's on you.

I like this gym but there’s a couple things that I don’t like. There is one piece of machine that is glitchy and it’s my favorite machine, they also have these metal covers for the electrical outlets that stick up and I’ve seen so many people trip on them. Otherwise, the staff is grown friendly enough and it’s clean.

I absolutely LOVE this gym! They have it all - tons of weights and great machines. I can tailor my workout to my needs. Staff is incredible! Really love seeing Zarien, Lee, Erin, Courtney and the rest. They are always so cheerful and helpful. I've tried most of the gyms here and this is the best! It's so bright and clean. I'm so glad PF came to town.

It's an amazing place to go to work out. Great equipment and lots of room. But the down side to all of it is, I was told by an employee guys are not allowed to wear sleeveless shirts because it exposed to much chest and nipples. But when I'm there females are walking around in sports bras that expose more skin and chest then guys my sleeves shirts do. It's good to know there is not judgment free gyms around here

I had an issue with my account not being charged for my monthly fees and the ladies at the front desk worked diligently to figure out why there was a problem. Thankfully it’s fixed and I can continue to workout with my friends. I have been in several times and the staff has ALWAYS been nice and friendly.

Warning to female tanners -- you may be told to leave the tanning room if you run over 5 mins.

A man with a bald head came banging at my door, telling me to get out right now even tho I was still putting on lotion and I even dressed. He yelled telling me to get out right now bc my time ran over just 5 mins!!! He actually frighten me bc he just started banging and yelling at the door.

I have never in my life been kicked out of a tanning bed due to expired time. I like to put in lotion after tanning as DUE many female tanners. This place should allow extra time for tanners to put on lotion afterwards and don't yell at your clients to get out of tanning room even though they are still putting on lotion, disgusting!!!

They close at 10PM on weekdays and 9pm on weekends. That is way to early to close for a gym. At least make it until midnight. Other than that it's a nice clean new facility. When hours change I will adjust my rating accordingly.
