Josh, Joe and Nora are the best. Every time I walk in one of the staff members greet me by name and always ask how my day is going. It’s always a great way to start my workout. The equipment is always clean and in good condition. The staff keeps the restrooms and the massage chairs clean and in good condition as well. I would highly recommend this gym. The price is very affordable and worth it for home much I get out of this place!

Been a member of this location for 13 years. PF is good — it’s a no frills gym. This location, however isn’t great. They haven’t had a personal trainer in 2 years and when I ask I’m told “you can go to another location.”Recently they moved equipment around and the new flow is awful and makes the floor too crowded. 30 minute express area is gone, the equipment is on main floor with no room for the cardio “circuit” and the machines are always busy with someone camped out looking at their phone. They just reopened after being closed 23 days for construction which I gotta say is underwhelming. My contract states I am due a partial refund for the time they were closed however management doesn’t want to talk to me about that.

I have to assume anyone giving this PF a bad review has not been to a lot of gyms, because let me tell you, this gym is very nice and well maintained, not to mention CLEAN. The employees are constantly out on the floor mopping, dusting, and replacing supplies, and they've always been kind and extremely helpful when I needed something. I can't recommend this gym enough!!

Nice gym with lots of equipment. Standing booths and Bed tanning available for black card members.They need some hand sanitizer pumps replaced but that is minor. Convenient gym with nice employees.Edited: I wish they would clean tanning beds, booths, trash and floors(tanning rooms)more regularly. Some of the tanning beds and floors are slick with tanning oil. I clean before but only have a 3 minute delay which doesn't give me much time to clean and change clothes

Horrible place, I’ve been contacting them since December because I could not use my membership, they said that I wasn’t in the system even tho my bank statements would show the monthly fee, they made me drive all the way to my “home club” but when I went there they said my home club was main st, I go to main st and they Said that my app was showing my home club was thorton, I go back to thorton and they confirmed it again, my home club was in fact main st, they didn’t let me in the day I went back to main st, I cancelled my membership but they still charged me the fee you have to pay every year, that was more than 40 bucks, even tho I paid for that yearly fee and monthly fee they didn’t let me in next time I went in assuming that they would let me use the membership I just paid. I called them more than three times saying that there was an issue with their app because that was the one showing that my home club was thorton, They agreed, said that it was an issue from the app and said that only the manager was able to do refunds, that they would contact me back, they never did, called them again, they said the same thing and never got an answer back.
Planet fitness will always find a way to not give you your money back, even they they have no excuses.

MUSIC TOO LOUD! Even with headphones on! Water not working, and filter has a yellow light on it. Walking in the door feels unsafe due to homeless people and their cigarette smoking, and trash is always blowing around outside, making the area look filthy. I've been going to this gym for 2 years now. It's time for a review. The main issue I have is the showers. Moldy, smelly nasty, yellow build up from not cleaning them. I guarantee they haven't been cleaned in months. It's a health hazard. It's truly disgusting. The shower head on two showers leak heavily. Hit or miss which showers have a functioning light. And there's hardly any hot water.
Another issue I have is there's always a paper towel dispenser out while there are 1-2 employees looking at their phones doing nothing.
Lastly is the bums. I had sympathy when I first started working out there but enough is enough.

I understand this should be a judgment free zone but patrons shouldn't cause distractions and discomfort to other patrons. I loved this facility for the first month I was going. Not too busy and the staff in the mornings are super nice.
On a few occasions I noticed a man on a laptop, ok whatever. Well.. then twice I saw him looking at images of women in suggestive poses (staff later told me they are comics). I asked a staff member if anyone else has mentioned their frustration with this guy and he admitted someone else had complained. The next time I saw this person, I was fired up and spoke to a different staff member and I almost cancelled my membership right then. The gentleman I was speaking with was able to diffuse the situation and let me know I can speak with the club Manager. Gio (club manager) called me a few weeks later and I explained why I gave a 1 star rating on their feedback request. He said he would talk to the laptop person and see what can be done. It's been 2 months now, never did hear back from Gio but the South Longmont Location is soooo much better. Patrons are actually serious about their fitness though I do miss the friendliness of the staff at this location.

Something looked strange with rockbot today. But if you take away some of the fun of my workouts, then my longtime Bladk Card Membership will be canceled and I'll try out anytime fitness where I can really go anytime! I don't mind a little more cost. At least they wouldn't delete rockbot artists for no random reason after having them available to play for awhile. This happened with another PF location and I'm disappointed in your staff for removing it as it is clearly location based.

Please bring the appropriate artists back that have been removed since last week. I'm pretty positive they remove it just cause they don't like it. Because after I gave a poor review for the other location, they saw it and fixed it within a week I noticed.

I just started going to this location in January. I typically go at least 3 to 5 times per week and Every. Single. Time I have been to this location, there is either a paper towel dispenser, multiple spray bottles, or both, completely empty. How do you expect your guests to properly clean/ sanitize the equipment after reach use, as posted in your club, if you don't supply what is needed to do so? I gave 2 stars because the staff is very friendly, however, these issues are even more irritating when staff are always just standing behind the front desk on their phone with the issues I mentioned above. And yes, I have said something in the past directly to the staff ( with 5 employees standing behind the desk ) and I just got a bunch of blank looks back at me. Very frustrating

If I could give zero stars I would. Showers were appalling, white mold and mildew all over the curtains and floors. Staff/manager was frequently absent “running to the store to get gum”. Canceled my membership and was charged for five months afterwards.

Talking to friends and coworkers, PF is notorious for this. Will always, ALWAYS pick any single other gym than PF. The cheap price is not worth it, and clearly reflects in their facilities, staff, and business practices. Only plus side is they’ve got equipment you can’t fit in your home

EDIT: I’ve spoken to management and all I got was a letter saying they pinky promise not to charge me again. No refund for the company’s errors. I’m not interested in speaking with anyone from PF unless it’s a refund for all the unauthorized charges to my account. Just warning folks what they’re getting into with PF

I used to love going here but have had such bad experiences lately. You never know when they are going to close - what is listed on the website is overruled by a handwritten sign when you walk in the door. The staff makes you feel unwanted and like they don’t want to be there. The final straw was when they flashed the lights off about 5 minutes before they wanted to close, causing me to almost fall off the treadmill. Unbelievable - time to get new night employees. If nothing else, PLEASE stay open until the posted hours so paying patrons can use the gym when it works for their schedule!

They really need to eliminate cell phone use in the gym area! This is a gym to work out. People sit on the equipment playing with their phones instead of working out...there's a sign but nobody adhere's to it and it is NOT enforced! I don't need to hear peoples conversations at full volume when I'm concentrating on my workout. The management plays Favorites because they only look at $$$. Planet fitness is a great gym. The variety of equipment is awesome. I also LOVE the hydro massage chair, if you're a black card member, TRY IT! I love that you can check the "crowd meter" before heading into the gym. I personally like when little no one is at the gym, haha. So, this tool is great in helping me decide when to go. Also, the price point for their membership is better than other gyms I have tried in the past. I recommend this gym for anyone. And highly recommend getting the PF Black Card so you can use all the amenities. Totally worth it, and like I said, you can't beat the price.

This gym location on main st. in longmont has gone downhill tremendously! The workers don't care do to their job at all I can walk in no one will even look up from their phones or stop a conversation with another worker to make sure I scanned in and make sure I scanned my guest in. I was having issues with the app getting my black card guest info to come up to scan, they just let you walk right in without scanning in. They never even looked up. They are constantly out of paper towel and cleaning spray to wipe down machines, but when you mention it to a team member they act as if it's an inconvenience and it'll be still empty the rest of the week. They have people sleeping in their lobby on the waiting couch for the amenities and went it is brought up to them they use excuses to not have to deal with the situation. I understand that it's hard to find good employees that actually care and want to do the job, but it would be nice to have even just one employee or manager that actually wanted to make sure the gym is safe and clean for us who pay for a monthly membership.

They wore out the pandemic excuse for closing early & the community is so, beat down, they don't know how to stand up for anything so, PF owners continue to go against Franchise standards & close early every day, earlier Friday through Sunday. Each time I visit the gym at Larkridge in Westminster Colorado it is filthy. The tanning beds and tanning rooms are always dirty.
I hope this improves in the future. I have mentioned this concern to the staff at the front desk several times but nothing has been done to change it. One of the staff swept the floor in the tanning room one time I mentioned it but didn't clean the tanning bed. I just make sure I don't touch anything when I tan at this gym. I hope it's clean the next time I visit.

This place has really gone downhill. Even simple things like replacing batteries so that the timers and rep counters on the machines work are not happening. The rep counter / timer on the glute machine has been out of order for more than two years, for example. An ab machine was also "temporarily" down for maintenance for several weeks recently.

Yesterday, there were three employees standing around at the front desk chatting, with fewer than 15 customers in the facility. Surely some of these folks could be given a small set of tools and shown how to replace batteries.

Also, the facility no longer has a trainer, and I am told there are no plans to hire one.

Gym area wasn't clean overall as Planet Fitness promotes. Floors needed to be cleaned/mopped. Men's locker room was dirty, floors were had visible dirt on lockers area, showers were needing some serious attention. Showers had used bandages on the floor, obviously not put there by staff, but still needing to be removed. Showers need a deep clean in corners and walls.

Edit: Why would you ask me to reach out to your local management team? I'd assume PF has an internal communication system in place to address customer concerns.

I've been going to this location on and off for years and up until now have had a really great experience.

Recently though they switched to closing at 10pm every single night without any warning at all to their customers (They are even still listed as 24hrs Monday-Thursday on their google page). I'm in charge of staffing at my work and totally understand that it's really difficult right now. I understood not being able to stay open 24hrs on the weekends. But there is absolutely no point in me paying for a gym that is not open when I am available to go. Especially if they don't have the curtesy to even warn people of the changes.

Just another episode of “Rate That Planet Fitness.” Hosted by none other than yours’ truly! :) NGL, when we pulled up to this location, we were a bit worried. The plaza setting DOES NOT match the interior. The exact opposite might we add.

What a beautiful facility with TONS of machines. We mean TONS! The design of this location is upscale and modern and the cleanliness matches. The workout area as well as the bathrooms are SUPER clean. Staff were all friendly as well.

What we really loved were the showers here. Especially the men’s room. Having a place to get undressed in private and walk right into your shower is spot on. Very spacious locker rooms and several stalls and urinals were also refreshing to see.

A fantastic location for sure! We will be using this for our 3 day local stay!

Clean, good equipment, polite staff. I used the showers when going to an appt instead of heading home after workout, it was clean and a nice area. Sometimes machines aren't working, but I suppose that happens. They usually fix it within a few days. Overall I like it.

Excellent experience with the Main Street Longmont Planet Fitness. The equipment is well maintained, the facility is clean but mostly the people are terrific!

Beautiful gym.... Cheap location.
All soap dispensers ripped out of showers.
Soap doesn't work in bathrooms.
Handicap shower head removed from shower.
NO HOT WATER.

I like this location, not too busy, don't often wait on machines/benches/weights, near local shopping big lots, dollar tree, king soopers...this comes in handy...Masks no longer required...

This planet fitness is smaller but machines are well kept and has a friendly vibe all around. I only gave 4 stars because the woman’s locker shower changing rooms doors have weird key locks that inadvertently stay locked when you close them.
Consequently, they are always locked. :( I have mentioned several times to front desk. You need to ask to have them unlocked. Super annoying. :(

I really like planet fitness. You never have to wait for cardio machines and there are plenty of options for weight lifting. My issue is with trying to close my membership. I no longer live in the vicinity of a planet fitness and they don't let you cancel your membership over the phone. So I've basically been paying for the past year because I can't get there to cancel in person. From what I understand you can write a letter to the gym to cancel, but I haven't tried that either. Otherwise, great gym.
