This is by far the best Planet Fitness I've been to. The staff is amazing, always greeting me warmly both when I come in and when I leave. They were especially accommodating with the hydromassage for me and my wife. The gym itself is rarely crowded and offers a great variety of equipment. I recently moved to a new location, and I really miss this one!

I had at your gym—not just once, but both times I visited.

The entire facility was impressively clean, the equipment was perfectly spaced and up to Planet Fitness standards, and the lighting gave the whole space a welcoming, energized feel. Even better, the gym wasn’t overcrowded, which made it easy and enjoyable to get a full workout in without any stress.

But the real standout? Your staff. Everyone I encountered was super-duper friendly, helpful, and made me feel completely at ease. That kind of hospitality goes a long way, and you all nailed it.

If I could give you more than five stars, I absolutely would.

Another not great location the staff plays on their phones doesn't actually do any real work pretends to when you check in.

Then goes back to swiping, or having conversations that have nothing to do with work reported that the bathroom was out of toilet paper, shrugged, shoulders, and so the next shift will get it not a little good location

Tired of the hot water not working. And looking through your reviews this has been an issue for several years. It worked fine for my first few months of membership but has been constant issues since. It's been several months and it doesn't look like you have any plans to fix this so I will cancel my membership. The gym has also been significantly more crowded since you guys started the free teen program. Not sure why you would worsen the experience of your paying members to let teens in for free. Also they clean the gym with stong chemicals in the middle of the day. Its horrible trying to workout when all you can smell is ammonia.

I've worked out at a lot of different gyms, and if you're just looking for a place to workout and do your own thing, Planet Fitness is great value. The Louisville gym is clean, well organized, never busy, newish equipment. Without all the classes, trainers and fluff.
The massage chair/hydro massage and free guests are a nice bonus of the black card. As is being able to use a gym while I travel around the country.

The planet fitness here has a decent amount of equipment. It is probably out of balance in terms of cardio machines to diverse weight equipment, but still enough of anything for you not to have to wait too long (unless you want a stairmaster).

5 stars though for the morning crew. Especially Tiffany, so welcoming and and uplifting. I am sure she offers a ton as an employee but I know the way she greets people and interacts makes everyone that comes in feel a bit better about her day.

Gym itself was fine, equipment was mostly working and clean. Financially though, this company is at best confusing, and at worst a scam.

When you cancel, your account is immediately wiped from the system even if you paid for the month in question (and if you ask them about it, they might lie to you and say you pay backwards so you’re SOL!). There is no way to cancel and get a prorated refund for time you paid for and won’t receive, so be prepared to forfeit your entire last paid membership fee upon cancellation.

I feel somewhat bad for the manager of this particular gym to get one star because I don’t really know this gym. I’m doing it because the cancellation policy is absolutely ridiculous. You have to do so in PERSON. I had to drive for 1 hour each way from Boulder (the Boulder gym closed down and got transferred to Louisville). I don’t even know how they get away with it because the latest FTC regulation is that unsubscribing from services has to be made easy. Very poor management that they don’t read the reviews and change the policy because they would’ve had a lot of more people coming back. Instead, even when people want to return to a gym, they will avoid PF at any cost, just like me.

I joined this gym with a bias against Planet Fitness because it gets a bad rep online, but this place has been nothing but great as an advanced-casual gym goer. It has been clean, the staff has been super chill and draw fun motivational messages, and it's really hard to beat $10/15 a month. The people that go are chill too with a good mix of folks from beginners to built gym rats, but everyone has been pleasant and is just there to work out and maybe make a bit of conversation. Obviously, because it's a PF it's missing some would-be nice features like deadlifting platforms, box jumps, and weight vests; but as a PF-type gym it has been really solid. For what it does, it does very well from my experience over the past year or so.

This is my local planet fitness. The staff is super nice. And it's not usually crowded.

I have 2 complaints:
1. they need to sweep or dry mop more often. There are dust bunnies, hair balls & gravel from the parking lot throughout the club. Pretty gross when you are on the ground trying to stretch.

2. The music is too loud. I can hear the music with both of my sound cancelling earbuds in. It's especially loud in the stretching area. It's just too much.

This place is great, its clean, rarely crowded, inexpensive and the staff is great! I wish it was closer to my house. The only thing I think they ought to change is that they ought to notify club members when the gym is closed. In the last month they've had issues with the plumbing, power and of course snow (this being CO) causing the club to close. It would be nice to get a text when these things happen.

Great, quiet location, a few of the female employees don't often do work (towels/toilet paper/soaps always empty and dirty when they are on shift) and I ALWAYS see the males working like refilling things and dusting/vacuuming/etc, and I have no clue why. It isn't dependent on shifts either because I go at many different times during different days and it I can say I've never seen one of the men sitting entirely on the counters, feet up, chatting with other workers, which I see a few of the female employees always doing despite work needing to be done, walkthroughs/checks on the floor, etc. They also always let this weird guy in who wears flip flops constantly and all his toes are showing. Would be a shame if he dropped a weight on his toe (he throws weights around sometimes) and then tried to sue you since no one is checking to ensure it is a judgement free zone, including by making it safe and enforcing wearing the right attire.

Weirdly, they also purposely removed all the songs from Rockbot of the artists I frequently played there and left very few country songs by all males and no female country singers, which is also annoyingly sexist in today's society. Never do they add any songs requested on Rockbot to be added to be able to play. I have been using the app for close to a year now. I also know it is specific to this location too because I confirmed the Longmont locations Rockbots did not remove these artists so it was manually by the Louisville location employees. Other artists I never played were spared. Poor feeling about this place now. Way to start the new year off without thinking of your customers, especially the ones who have been spending the Black Card Membership fees for years now and frequently talk about PF.

I have been a regular member for about a year and a half and have watched things improve consistently. There was a change in GM in January of 2023 and Lacey, the current GM, has cultivated such a sense of community, as well as improving upon the cleanliness and general feel of the space. I have never been a gym person until joining PF Louisville. I am so grateful to Lacey and the whole team for creating a space and energy that is welcoming, clean, non-judgmental, and safe.

Has all the cardio equip, weight machines + few extra rooms and walking track if you make it around the inside perimeter of the space. Each lap about 1/10th of mile so 10 laps a mile. Circulating fans to keep it cool😎 . Wonderful wall platitudes sharing business philosophy of "Inclusion" and "NO critics here." Open, easy parking in regional parking lot. This planet fitness in Lafayette Colorado, Have very limited hours the place is dirty, Shower handle fell off in my hand, Toilets broken, Spoke with the staff all they had is excuses for everything..... They were polite But they didn't hold themselves accountable for the broken toilet the shower handle that fell out from my hand or Filthy gym..... They did however not hesitate to blame it on the patrons..... I have a membership there I scan my contact but I didn't find on there anywhere where I was responsible for maintaining their equipment....... Funny thing about planet fitness been with them for years claim they're 24 hours A-day I pay my fees for 24 hours A-day and then they have every excuse in the book why they're not open 24 hours A-day.... Now if I don't fulfill every letter of the contract they cancel my Contract..... ONE WEEK LATER....
You would think that whoever responded to my post would at least investigate my complaints.... They merely requested pictures so I waited one week and went back and took these pictures as you can see the shower handle still fell off in my hand,,, There is dirt dust et cetera in many places in the gym , I believe they have an air quality issue in that gym it may be a sick building... To be absolutely sure , Since I'm an indoor air quality consultant.... I would have to pull some air samples and analyze them to see exactly what you're breathing seems to be awful loud of something floating around in the air if you look at the Intake vent..... So I guess after taking these pictures a week later ...I'm gonna have to say whoever responded to this review Doesn't feel any obligation to their clients Health are well being..... Didn't even investigate the shower handle falling off in someone's hand now there's a picture to prove it it's over 7 days old what you got to say????

Nice gym with interesting members. Aside from the teenage girl employees texting at the front desk as you walk in the door, often ignoring you, and the fact that there are 50 unused ellipticals that should be removed, and the tiny free weight area that’s overcrowded, the gym is awesome. The machines are in great shape, the locker rooms are clean, the employees are generally great, and there are lots of TVs for those who want to watch them.

Suggestions:

1) I really wish the ellipticals could be removed to make space for a way bigger free weight area. There is zero chance of more than maybe ten people using ellipticals at once. I’ve never seen more than three people at once.

2) The 30-minute workout area is unused. Probably a corporate requirement to have it. But it’s wasted space.

3) Could we get a few new tricep pull-down ropes for the cable machines? They’re super worn out and there are only two. They’re also often moved to the other side of the gym.

4) The soap by the bathroom sinks is frequently empty.

The most consistently inconsistent Planet Fitness or gym I have ever been to. Hours are whenever they feel like. Employees just make up their own hours it feels like. Do the managers know about this? I sort of understand not being 24 hours in this town, but when you expect a place to be open and schedule your workout around then and show up to find the employees decided to close early on a whim... I went to Louisville Planet Fitness after a year of traveling full time to cancel my membership. Parker Krug was there, I explained that I wanted to hop on the massage chairs and charge my phone. He helped me sign up for the chairs, which are nicer than any of the chairs I’d used in any Planet Fitness across country. After I used the Black Card spa I decided to keep my membership. Parker had a very healing presence which definitely convinced me to stay as a member. -Lori

False advertisement says 24 hour right on the front of the gym, take it down until you guys are actually 24hour Well I tried to do a day trial because I herd of friends trying out the gym before they sign up for the membership the staff at the front told me there was no such thing as a day trial, and I needed to pay 20$ for a day pass just to try the gym, I later found a free day trial on the Planet Fitness website and used my free day pass and unfortunately 3-4 free weight benches is all the gym had and cardios takes up 3/4 of the gym. They definitely need more free weights and I stopped by on my way to work and I could not get the showers to go warm after waiting over 10 mins. Get your showers fixed and actually be 24 hour like your advertising and this would be a decent gym

Watching the news while I do the eliptical or treadmill helps pass the time and I love that this is an option. I really hope what I just experienced was a fluke. I tried plugging in to the channels on six machines. The only channels that had audio were Fox and other conservative news channels. What a great way to increase instead of decrease stress! PLEASE add Channel 6 & 12 optimally, and at the very least, hook up audio to a variety of channels including Channel 7 & 9.

Anyone who writes a bad review of this location has obviously not visited the other gyms in the area. I've been to them all in a search of a place I like. Both nearby rec centers. Vasa. The YMCA. 24 Hour Fitness. Gold's in Longmont. Lifetime. By far this gym is the cleanest one I go to with the nicest staff. You rarely have to wait, and all of the equipment is new and obviously well–cared for. I feel at home here and look forward to going, and that's the most important thing! Keep up the good work!

Not enforcing mask policy AT ALL. People huffing and puffing with their masks being worn as chin straps. Staff has no desire to enforce. The gal behind the counter said she was often there alone and couldn't walk around... which not only makes no sense but she told me this as I interrupted her from showing the other gal working there pictures of her niece on her phone. Planet Fitness is the best gym membership value I’ve ever found, their prices are unbeatable. This particular location is brand new, so the machines are new, everything is super clean, and I love that they have red light therapy for black card members. It’s also not been very crowded since we’re still in a pandemic, so I never have to wait for machines. Most of the staff is friendly, accommodating, and have gone above and beyond with their customer service.

My only company complaint (which I have already vocalized to corporate) is that they generate a TON of paper towel waste with their cleaning stations, and do not recycle. Ironically, their bathroom hand dryers have signs on them addressing how many trees are cut with X amount of paper towel waste. The message here is incredibly confusing and it pains me to think about how much waste they’re creating with little concern. It’s not that difficult to add recycling bins, especially if it’s just on a local level and not corporate.

Also, there’s got to be a way to hold members accountable for cleaning their machines after every use, especially while we are still in a pandemic. A few days ago I watched this guy hop from machine to machine without cleaning them, one of them was within 2 feet of me and neither of us were wearing masks. I’ve been vaccinated but it still makes me uncomfortable when people don’t respect my space, especially when I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt that if you’re maskless, you’re also vaccinated. Not sure how the staff can crack down on members cleaning their machines after each use, but I hope it’s something they’ll consider.

Super clean, machines are in great condition, and all the staff I’ve met are very friendly and supportive. I used to be a trainer at Colorado Athletic Club in Boulder and it was always struggling with broken machines and high prices. I’ve been so impressed by the quality of the entire experience. Great spot!

Overall the worst Planet Fitness I've been in!

No hot water the handful of times I've gone, and there is no effort to resolve this as others have commented on reviews before.

The OWNER is extremely rude!! and is obviously only there for a paycheck and to verbally put down paying customers as well as issuing threats of being unable to return because of complaints about the condition of the bathroom.

Couldn't be happier. Very clean facility and friendly staff. I have memberships at several different gyms in the area and this is the only one I feel relaxed and at home in and I consider myself an active and fit person.
For the people on here leaving bad reviews and complaining about masks, they are following local government recommendations as well as showing kindness and understanding. Be nice to them and they will return the favor. Please don't make peoples lives harder than you need to. We all have to live together peacefully now and after this is over.

Planet Fitness does a really great job of keeping the equipment and gym clean, making sure masks are being worn and creating a welcoming, safe and comfortable place to workout. I witnessed an employee having to ask a member to leave because she was unwilling to follow the mask policy. The employee was professional and civil while doing so and I appreciate her monitoring that masks are being worn. This is a great gym and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to workout!

A huge thank you to the staff at this Planet Fitness! I personally witnessed an employee keeping everyone safe and compliant with the mask mandate, even when faced with an unhappy non-mask wearer. This place has the BEST quality AND quantity of cardio, weights, calisthenics equipment and more! Sparkling clean facilities, with everything from tanning beds to massage chairs. Plenty of social distancing between guests and all Local-mask rules are followed. The staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful and competent. The memberships are a fraction of the cost I paid at 24Hour Fitness and Lifetime but I'm getting SO much more! I found my gym rat heaven!!

I would avoid this gym, no requirements for masks enforced. At least half the people using the equipment weren’t wearing masks and when I asked the front desk to enforce it they said it wasn’t required. Great way to draw this whole Covid situation out. Poor form Planet Fitness. Thumbs down.
