I decided to start going to this gym after 4 months of trying to get stronger and healthier on my own, I was awkward going to the gym and didn't even know where to start or what exactly I wanted to do I just I knew I had to start somewhere and stick to it. I started here in May and I've gotten stronger and healthier with Bennito by my side. I'm super appreciative of the motivation he gives me to push through my work outs when I have none for myself. I look forward to my works outs each week and I can definitely see my progress. Give yourself grace and get down to rapid fitness!

I have trained with Benny since April of 2019. Honestly, one of the best decisions I have ever made. I find Benny to be sincere and passionate about his work to promote the physical/mental, health/development, and well-being of others, through the art of bodybuilding. He is client centered, knowledgeable, supportive and focused on helping individuals attain their goals. I believe Benny is a rare find in the world of fitness due to his genuine compassion for others. For me, it has been an accelerated year of growth for the development of fitness, nutritional and cardio habits. After losing a lot of weight on my own, I hit a frustrating plateau in my fitness level and I’m thankful I found Rapid Fitness Development. Benny has been amazing in tailoring a training regimen for my specific goals that I can follow not only during the times I am training with him, but also outside of our sessions as well. He’s very knowledgeable and great at explaining not just what to do, but the why behind it. My husband has been working out with Benny for about two years and I love how my husband looks with his shirt off!!! I started training with Benny recently and his knowledge about fitness is amazing. He can customize your workout to fit whatever you want & need. I had knee surgery in high school so he chooses specific exercises to strengthen what needs to be strengthened in order to avoid pain & further injury. Plus, he is such a nice guy! He’s not an egotistical meat head or a drill sergeant, he genuinely enjoys helping people become the healthiest version of themselves!

Benny is very conscious of my prior surgeries and injuries when building a workout program for me. He knows how to push a person without injuring them and still get an effective workout! I now have a workout program which allows me to quickly achieve my physical goals without causing further injury to any of my pre-existing ailments!

I've trained with Benny for a couple of years, and I highly recommend him. I've gotten huge changes since I started with him. He's really good at adapting the structure of the workout schedule, exercises and nutrition plan to your particular needs and situation. A wonderful experience here! The trainers are well educated and understand what they are doing. Very clean fitness studio and they do excel work! As a retired Marine Corps Officer and senior citizen I value the knowledge, respect and professionalism of the trainers here. I have been working out most of my life, but was falling behind in maintaining my personal fitness goals. I started working out with the professionals here over a year ago. Unlike other gyms this one is clean, organized and treat me with respect while holding me accountable to my goals. I started off with just wanting to "learn my way around the gym". I quickly became addicted to the workouts and saw amazing results in as quickly as the first month's weigh day. I ended up entering the competition world and competed in four bikini NPC shows and quickly achieved my goal of qualifying for Nationals. My Weight Loss Journey

Two years ago marked a huge turning point in my life. I was finally graduating college and starting to pursue my career as a Registered Nurse. There was only one problem—I was severely overweight. When I walked across the stage at my graduation, I was 285 pounds and wore a size 20 dress. I didn’t want to be that nurse that encouraged her patients to lead a healthy lifestyle and then turned around and did the exact opposite. Up until that point, I was eating out 2-3 times per day and spending the majority of my day sitting in class. I grew up an athlete so I was no stranger to exercise, so instead I just used the “I don’t have time” excuse. Finally, it clicked in my head that I needed to make time if this was something that I really wanted. And it was. I never wanted anything more in my life than to be healthy and active again. I had tried every fad diet there was and I knew that wasn’t going to work if I wanted permanent results. This time I needed to hit the gym and I wanted a personal trainer that would be there to push me. Benito contacted me and said that he was interested in working with me to reach my goals. We set up a time to meet to determine my baseline fitness level and to begin formulating my goals. I distinctly remember saying that I wanted to be a size 12 again, and Benito replied, “Oh, well we are going to do much better than that!” It was nice to know that someone had faith in me and was willing to go above and beyond to help me. I worked with Benito 3 times per week at first. After about three months I had lost 10 pounds. I felt like for the amount of work I was doing, it should be more than that. That’s when I realized I still had my bad eating habits. If I wanted to see more results, my diet was going to have to change drastically. I cut out almost all of the fast food and sweets and was watching my calories very closely. After I did that and along with my sessions at the gym, the weight just seemed to drop off. I was dropping pant sizes so fast that I just stopped wearing jeans and lived in my scrubs because they had a draw string and I could make them smaller! When I started seeing the results, going to the gym started to become fun. I looked forward to going and challenging myself to do even better. I finally had the weight loss part down so I decided to add another goal and that was to build muscle and become strong. Benito was able to help me with that as well. That’s the great thing about having a personal trainer, they are there to help with any and every goal that you have in mind. Two years later, I have lost around 95 pounds. I went from a size 20, to a size 8. At first I could hardly go up a flight of stairs without having to stop and catch my breath. Now I can run for miles on the treadmill and have just recently reached a new max on my dead lifts of 350 pounds! I can easily say that I am in the best shape of my life! I’m even smaller now than I was in high school! I now work at Penrose Hospital and I get bariatric patients on a regular basis. I tell them my story and I let them know that yes, it is hard work and at times it’s not fun, but it can be done and it is well worth it. I can relate to them in a way that no one else can. They trust me because they know that I have been in their shoes and that I will not judge them, but instead encourage them. I have finally made that lifestyle change and I owe a great deal of thanks to Benito and all the other personal trainers for all that they do.

Changing Body Composition!
In the fall after I graduated college, I decided to join a gym so that I could be active and start taking some group exercise classes. I decided to start personal training because I wanted to get into the best shape possible and to continue developing healthy habits for later in life. Though I had relatively small goals in mind, I still needed help to achieve them. I wanted to make sure that I achieved them in the way that was the most beneficial. I also wanted to make sure that I accomplished them in the most constructive way possible in order to prevent injury. I met with Benito twice weekly, and he helped me build up my legs, core, and shoulders. About two months into training, Benny decided to transition to another gym. At this point, I could already see results in my legs and I didn’t want to get another trainer. So I followed Benny to Rapid Fitness Development and there we continued to build up my legs. I was feeling so good about the progress we had made and the strength that I had developed in my core that I decided to take up running. I entered into a 5k and was pretty pleased with the results. I did a few more of those and then entered into a 10k.

My legs were looking really good and I had a strong core, so at this point in my training, Benny started working on strengthening my arms while continuing my leg workouts. Training is a process and it is not always easy, but I am so pleased with the results. It was gradual and there were times that I felt like I was hardly making any progress at all. Fortunately, my friends and family stepped in and made comments and compliments on my fitness and weight loss. They provided me with the positive affirmation I need to keep going to the gym so I could accomplish my goals. Benny told me that changing up my diet would help to put me even closer to my goal weight and fitness level, so I changed my diet and steadily became leaner. This had a positive effect on working out because I had more energy and I was beginning to see more definition in my legs, core, and arms. Benny helped me with running by giving me workouts that helped with slow twitch and fast twitch muscles in my legs, which contributed to increasing my speed. I recently moved across the country to pursue graduate studies, and I am so grateful that I was able to train with Benny. I have been able to use what I learned in training sessions and continue working out on my own, which is great. For one thing, I know what I’m doing in the gym, and for another, I know that the exercises Benny has taught me to do are very effective and will help to keep me fit.
