Bob and David are great and very supportive. The gym is clean with up to date equipment and is never too crowded.

Small gym but gets the job done. The only downside is that the squat rack is a Smith rack - not free barbell.

I have been going to Snap fitness in Louisville the last couple years, I initially joined for the convenience as it is the nearest 24hr gym to my home. But the downfalls have finally outweighed the convenience, leading me to cancel my membership.

This gym has expanded beyond what it can reasonably accommodate. They do not have the space to offer the classes that they do while there still being room for patrons not in the classes to work out. It is small, a good portion of the equipment is in poor repair, and it needs to be cleaned much more frequently than it is.

The owner is not good at dealing with issues promptly via e-mail, and unfortunately I feel like I need to have communication in writing now because more than once I have been told something in person or over the phone that has then been taken back when it has become an issue.

I was charged incorrectly at least 3 times in the last 6 months, and it took an entire month to get the refund I was promised for a charge made on May 2nd. More than once I have been told my refund has already been processed and then magically it shows up as a pending transaction on my bank statement two days after bringing it to the owner’s attention, again. Honestly at this point I don’t know if they were deliberately trying not to refund money owed, or they just cannot keep track of what and when they are charging people, but neither are a good look for a business.

You will be much better off going somewhere else. Save yourself a bunch of hassle, and join a different gym.

Has most of the basics for equipment (weights, machines, treadmills, TRX, etc.) and it is in pretty decent shape too. There is a men's and women's restroom as well as one unisex shower on site. Its not a bad gym but kind of small compared to its competition. I will continue to go to this gym because of its convenience and availability.

Good local gym with quality equipment. Doesn't seem to get too over crowded

Snap Fitness is an ideal gym for someone looking for a nice, affordable gym without any of the "perks" that a lot of people pay for and don't use at larger health clubs (group fitness, pools, etc.). I tend to join during winter, spend a lot of time on treadmills, and cancel my membership when it warms up outside. It's a perfect gym for that - no contract, easy enrollment and un-enrollment. I've belonged to basically every gym in the area (YMCA, Louisville Rec Center, etc.) and this is by far my favorite.

Everyone that works there is super nice, and the owner, David Clark, is incredible and a great inspiration!

This is just a note to say that I purchased this gym in May of 2104. I bought this gym with the vision of creating a place where people in the community could come to reach their health and fitness goals. This is not a venture to make money but to give back to others. I myself weighed 320lbs and was an alcoholic/ addict 10 years ago. Today I am here, at the club, day in and day out to serve all my members and to deliver the very best experience possible. I promise personal attention and I am almost always on hand to help out. I realized I cannot make everyone 100% happy, but that is my goal and it is my mission.

Thank you,

-David Clark

David is a super nice guy and when you look at where he came from and his achievements, seems that he would definitely be a great coach. Personally, I just signed up, but have already thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this gym. Today, Saturday July 4th, I was the only one in there. The gym is very clean, and the people actually use the cleaner that is provided. The machines are well taken care of also. Love this gym.

Let me start by saying that the gym itself is nice and well maintained. Unfortunately all of the nice things I thought about this gym went out when window when I tried to cancel my membership due to being relocated.

I called the gym and spoke with David, the owner. I told him my situation and explained that I needed to cancel my membership. He informed me "Oh looks like you have a contract until September". A contract? The snap fitness website specifically says no contracts and no hassles... Something is fishy here.

After 15 minutes of going back and forth about how they have different packages and you need to specifically request no contract when you sign up, I finally get David to agree to allow me to pay the difference in price and cancel the next month (at this point I am paying over $100 to cancel).

I am repeatably told that he "does not know why he is helping me because I called him a liar to his face" because I told him that the website says 1 thing, and he is saying something different. He also laughs and says the website is not a "legal document" so it's OK for them to give a contract even though their website specifically says they do not. No, that's false advertisement.

This is a classic bait and switch scam. Do not trust them when they said no contract, ask for copies of all legal documents if you sign up at this gym!
