This gym is honestly night and day better than the Tabor Center gym. Cleaner facility, newer equipment, way better staff, and the location is prime. The 3 levels are insane — literally an epic setup.

This is officially my new gym, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants a clean space, new weights, helpful staff, great trainers, and an overall elite experience.

I brag about this place to anyone who brings up the word “gym”. The staff is so friendly I could be in a terrible mood, not wanting to workout, and they turn my attitude around. They have plenty of workout equipment, I’ve never had to wait to use anything. Locker rooms are always clean, with showers, and a dry sauna. They’ve got workout classes, yoga, and Pilates. Recovery? They’ve got that covered too. Oh and the views from the weight room UGHHH so pretty!! Great crowd too, members are respectful of both the equipment and others. I could go on and on and on, but it’s better to just go in and see for yourself.

Easily the best gym in downtown. The equipment is top notch and kept up to like-new condition all the time. Membership provides access to world-class equipment plus plenty of classes to meet your every need. The red light room and hydro massages are a perfect way to end your workout. And the building design is bright and high-energy unlike some of the more dingier clubs around. The staff goes out of their way to know everyone’s name; even offering their personal cell phone numbers to reach them anytime. And they always encourage us to bring in other friends for free to motivate us to workout even more! Finally, the member community is friendly and easy to meet new workout partners. Be very cautious about their trial and sign-up process.
The facility itself is great—modern equipment, clean locker rooms, and a nice environment. However, their membership tactics feel misleading. They require you to complete the full sign-up process, including paying for your first month, with verbal assurances that you’ll be reimbursed if you decide not to continue after the trial.
When I informed them the day after my trial that I didn’t want to continue, I was told I had missed the “trial window” and they refused to refund me. The result? $169 for two workouts—the most expensive sessions I’ve ever had.
My advice: Do not agree to “try” the gym unless you are 100% certain you’ll keep the membership. Their policies are not as flexible as they make them sound.

I was pretty stoked to look in to working out here, but they wanted me to sign up without being able to do a trail workout. They wanted me to get a day pass for $40. I’m not paying over $150 a month and not doing a trial workout like every single other gym, come on.

My husband has been a member since they opened and encouraged me to join. I am really enjoying the non-corporate gym experience!!!! The staff actually know your name at TAC, imagine that?! Mostly I am a class person and love the classes so far, especially the Pilates Reformer with David and Dayana. I almost don’t want to recommend the Reformer class because I don’t want them to fill up! I love watching this gym take in the customer input to add new things all the time. I used this gym while visiting on a work trip, and it really impressed me. The facility was spotless, well-organized, and equipped with everything needed for a solid workout — from modern cardio machines to quality weights and plenty of space.

The front desk operational manager was outstanding — friendly, professional, and quick to help me get set up with a guest pass. She made the whole experience easy and welcoming, which I really appreciated after a long night of travel.

Even as a short-term visitor, I felt completely comfortable and well taken care of. If you’re in town and need a reliable, clean, and well-run gym, this one is an excellent choice.

Where do I begin? I have visited gyms across the globe and can unequivocally say that The Athletic Club in Denver is second to none. From the moment you walk in, you realize that this place is special. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming and the facilities are state of the art. This place has so many great things going for it that there are too many to list here.
Just a few:
1. Super clean and well organized
2. Top of the line fitness equipment
3. Everything perfectly organized on the gym floor for easy access and ease of use.
4. Experienced trainers who themselves are in great shape so they obviously live the life as well as teaching it.

Wyatt and Allison invited us with open arms. Me and my wife just got to Denver and it is our first time living in a big city. It’s also our first time ever experiencing such an incredible gym. As I write this review I am relaxing on hydromassage chair before I go workout (no it doesn’t cost extra). I knew immediately after Wyatt gave us a tour of them gym he really cared about our experience. He even told me if there was any equipment that I thought should be in the gym they would do their best to order it for me. What kinda gym even does that?? Absolutely love getting to workout at this gym; the staff are wonderful and incredibly friendly and helpful with figuring out what your goals are, as well as knowledgeable about the equipment and the different therapies and things included in the membership. I’ve been working out as a new member for about a week/week and a half and already feel apart of the gym “family”!

While the price for the membership may seem expensive for some, for someone who goes to the gym everyday, like me, this membership definitely pays for it self and then some.

The equipment is high quality, well taken care of, and great to use, and the weight room overlooks downtown which is a bonus for good natural light and catching the sunsets at night. Further, the other amenities included in the membership are wonderful to use.

To put it simply, if you’re looking for a new gym and want something that is quality, welcoming, and comfortable, I highly recommend The Athletic Club!!

So, after 15 years at The Colorado Athletic Club I made the switch to TAC and couldn't be happier - - and for a number of reasons. First, the equipment at TAC is second to none. It's new, it's top shelf and it's plentiful. Second - - the staff. They're friendly, they're professional, and they always know my name. That's how "communities" are built.

Next come the trainers. They're actually all in good shape. No seriously, have you seen the trainers at other clubs, half of them look like they need trainers themselves.

And then there are the classes, classes with exercises that are never the same. They mix up the exercises in every class so your muscles never acclimate, which is a critical component of maintaining one's health.

And then there's the cost. Superior equipment, friendly & professional staff and great classes. And, oh yeah, did I mention that they also have FREE Hydro Massages and Red Light Therapy at no additional cost - - all at a monthly fee less than i was paying at CAC. Kudos to Jonathan, Raul, Alison, Nikole, Kristina everyone at TAC. Great Job guys, keep up the good work !!

An Amazing Experience at The Athletic Club Denver!

I can't say enough good things about The Athletic Club Denver! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. A huge part of that is due to the incredible manager, Raul Ramos. He is genuinely one of the friendliest, kindest, and most helpful people I've ever met. He's always there with a smile and a word of encouragement, and he truly goes above and beyond to make sure every member has a positive experience. His passion for fitness and for creating a real sense of community at the club is evident in everything he does.

Beyond the amazing staff, the gym itself is absolutely fantastic. It's incredibly spacious and roomy, so you never feel crowded, even during peak hours. There's plenty of room to spread out and do your own thing without bumping into people.

And the equipment! They have everything you could possibly want or need for a great workout. Whether you're into lifting, cardio, or functional training, you'll find top-of-the-line equipment that's always clean and well-maintained. I've never had to wait for a machine, and they have a huge variety of free weights, squat racks, and specialized equipment that you just don't find at other gyms.

If you're looking for a gym in Denver that has it all – a friendly and supportive community, a fantastic manager, and a spacious, well-equipped facility – then I wholeheartedly recommend The Athletic Club Denver. Brand new facility. Everything is in excellent condition. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Sauna is 15-20 degrees hotter than most which is huge for me. Wyatt walked me thru all 3 floors and showed me everything they have to offer and I was extremely impressed. On top of being a top class facility you get 1 free personal trainer meeting a month which is really helpful to keep you headed in the right direction

I am training for a body building competition and was working out at Chuze. It was super challenging to get in my workouts due to the high volume of members there. I found The Athletic Club on Instagram and then searched on Google to set up a tour. Raul was awesome! So friendly and helpful. He personally toured me around the facility. It is so clean and has all of the machines and equipment that I need! Plus incredible amenities that are needed for training for a show. Massage, sauna and red light therapy are my favorite! They also have boxing classes that I will definitely be attending! This is the most I have paid for a free weight gym, but so WORTH IT!

I have only been a member for a few weeks but I can tell you this is a great place. I've been to a lot of health clubs over the years. This place has everything you could ever want in a gym. It's clean, the equipment is almost brand new, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I was a member at VASA Fitness and that place is a zoo. I would have to repeatedly change my workout to adapt to what equipment was available. Otherwise I would be spending all day there. The vibe at The Athletic Club is relaxed and I don't feel stressed about being able to get in, get my workout done, and get on with life. I'm looking forward to taking some fitness classes there. If I think of it, I'll update my review afterwards. I'm confident my update will be glowing.

Joined this gym right when I moved into town and instantly fell in love with it! I am recovering from a knee surgery so I thought to try out some personal training - it has been an absolute game changer! Jonathan my trainer is the GOAT. He really knows what he is doing! And as a woman, I feel incredibly comfortable in the gym!!!

I really regret signing up with this gym. I was told by staff that my month-to-month membership could be canceled at any time—just to let them know. I did exactly that: I spoke with them in person before my billing date and I had to follow up through email, clearly requesting to cancel. They even replied saying the membership would be “canceled effective immediately.”
Despite this, they still charged me. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and got it refunded. Now, months later (it’s the end of May), they are still contacting me saying my account is active and demanding I pay—claiming it will stay active and collect late fees if I don’t.

This kind of shady behavior, unclear communication, and borderline threatening follow-up is unacceptable. I’ve tried to handle it politely and professionally, but I’m being penalized for relying on their own written confirmation.

I strongly do not recommend this gym. Their billing and cancellation practices are misleading at best, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this kind of hassle.

I was so impressed with this gym. You couldn't really visualize it from the outside, but it's a beautiful open space with tons of light high ceilings use of the road that passes beneath it.

They have a ton of cardio equipment, A great assortment of free weights, Lots of windows with natural light.

I really enjoy the dry sauna, they provide towels. My only regret is, I didn't have time to use their relaxation massage chairs.

I would highly recommend coming to this gym right in the middle of downtown Denver.
