Tonic Method combines high intensity interval training (HIIT) with the low impact strength training of Pilates to target your core, thighs, butt, and arms. We incorporate bursts of low-impact cardio with a series of exercises that are done at a slow, deliberate pace under continuous tension, which utilize your slow-twitch muscles to keep you in your fat-burning zone to build long, lean muscle.
Our custom Pilates Reformers were inspired by the traditional Pilates Reformer, but have been modified and enhanced to provide greater intensity, new exercises, more resistance, and a completely unique type of workout.
It's never easy. Always hard.

Tonic is the best workout in Telluride! It is wonderful on its own, but I love incorporating classes into my routine alongside biking, hiking, and skiing. I believe it has truly helped strengthen and lengthen my muscles, making me a stronger athlete overall. The instructors are kind, motivating, and unafraid to correct your form, which is so necessary for a workout where form is everything! I love Tonic Method!

So happy I attended my first ever reformer Pilates class at Tonic this past fall, without knowing what I was getting into. It was so hard in the absolute best way- I immediately opted for a membership! Almost 60 classes later and it is still an efficient and challenging workout every time! Wonderful fitness option Telluride! Well educated, kind, considerate, and thorough instruction. I am five months post-partum and they have gone out of their way to help me modify and participate in the variety of movements they go through with each class. Love seeing people from a wide cross section of our resort community in classes as well.
