Love the classes! I want to praise Vanessa's Zumba class. She empowers us to be better. Her classes bring the right combination of variety and repetion in music and choreography. The lights off turns the focus on ourselves, not each other. Vanessa demonstrates energy and her joy for dance is contagious without being showy. She works as hard as we do and connects with us through feedback and song requests. She observed and adjusts her class to our energy.

I am highly satisfied with my experience at VASA Fitness. The gym’s culture, atmosphere, and staff are all exceptional. I have been a member for the past five months and have consistently utilized the InBody scan for body composition analysis. However, I have noticed a discrepancy between the InBody scan results and other professional body scans, such as DEXA and Styku scans.

Recently, I received two professional body scans, which revealed significant discrepancies between the InBody scan readings and my actual measurements. The InBody scan indicated a body fat percentage that was 5% higher and a much lower lean muscle mass percentage than the results from the other scans. Previously, these discrepancies had caused feelings of discouragement, despite my diligent efforts, as I am not a novice. I studied to become a personal trainer many years ago, but decided that it wasn’t for me. I served in the military as a Medic, and have a background in the pharmaceutical industry. However, I neglected my health and fitness over the past five years, prioritizing the well-being of my children and their needs over my own. Now, with my children having grown up and left home, I find it a lot easier to make my health and fitness a priority. My oldest son will be graduating from CSU next year and starting grad school. My youngest son dropped out of college and started a family, so now I am a grandfather. Anyway, I digress. lol

I am now encouraged and empowered by the detailed reports of my actual body composition obtained from the professional scans. These reports provide a comprehensive understanding of my physical attributes, enabling me to make informed decisions about my fitness goals.

I express my gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of the VASA Fitness family. Overall, I am very pleased with this Gym, and I am hoping that the InBody machine can be recalibrated.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Cancelled my membership but they say it wasn't. So don't go to them if you like mistakes. Horrible customer service. Amended review: After placing this review the company reached out to me to fix the issue. But only after denying that they made a mistake with everyone I had talked to up to that point. They did fix the issue, but it took having to make this review and slamming their bad tactics for it to be fix. Just keep this in mind if you plan to join.

It's an okay gym was hoping it'd be better after I left chuze but seems like that was a mistake its always so super crowded also im working out its 11 pm I still have an hour then this worker chick starts grabbing the stuff im using as im working out and starts putting away everything and gives me a dirty look I told her im still using those and just scoffs at me she seriously needs an attitude adjustment. She was the skinny black chick with the long blonde dreads BTW yall need to have a talk with her fr fr. Bathrooms reek smell like a portopotty, the equipment is always breaking.

We went in to start a membership but unfortunately they wouldn't let us check out the gym without supervision so we had to wait a while for someone to show us around. Once the guy started talking about the memberships it was game over. Thr people who start your membership sound just like a sales people. The gym has a 3 star rating and tries to nickel and dime you. Basic membership doesn't let you into the pool lol. You have to upgrade to the more expensive membership for pool access. Multiple different membership levels makes it super confusing and scammy. They charge you a membership fee of 60 dollars a year even tho they don't lock you into a contract. The gym is basically a scam and not to mention the horror stories on all these most recent reviews. Literally almost every review is a bad review and it's the same careless response that sounds like an automatic AI response. Don't be stupid and take your money elsewhere.

Update: 9/22/25: fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Thought maybe my review changed something and still seeking tanning. Please see images. Note you can’t see the hair and toe nails until the fluorescent bulbs are turned on. Come on vasa.

Original: I don’t do reviews often so when I do, it’s for a reason. I am a studio member if Vasa with my home gym being the Smoky Hill location - just a few miles up the road. I went to the Quincy location because I wanted to tan and Smoky Hill only has red light therapy. I decided I would go do my normal workout and then tan.

When you first walk in, it looks fine. It’s when you look closer and start using - or trying to use - the equipment. There is more broken equipment than usable. the cables have probably never been maintained severely impacting the weight. Everything has a solid layer of grime on it like it’s never been cleaned.

The tanning bed has visible dirt, sweat and grime. I wouldn’t go in there with the toe nails and dust hanging out on the floor.

As someone who used to manage a gym, I understand that equipment may be a corporate issue but management needs to do better about controlling the things they can. And take a little pride in your workplace… a little cleaning could go a long way. Also a smile or good morning from the front desk instead of walking in to them on their phone.

Highly advise everyone to go to smoky hill instead of this location.

Persistent problems at the Quincy VASA. Massage chairs down for weeks, bathrooms and spa areas dirty, soap dispensers empty, pool often closed.

Some staff are professional, but others laugh off concerns or act dismissive — which makes members feel ignored.

Other Google reviews show the same issues:

-- Jessica (3 wks ago): “Went to tan… rooms were dirty, no towels, no one at the desk.”

-- Bricen (1 mo ago): “Dirty gym… no soap in dispensers. Staff response was, ‘oops,’ then sat back down.”

-- Joseph (1 yr ago): “Bathrooms trashed, showers broken, staff rude.”

This goes beyond local management. Corporate needs to step in with accountability, repairs, and better oversight.

Great gym at that price. Most of staff friendly and helpful. Some of the machines need repair but most are great. Lots of nice people work out there and we have made some friends that we talk to outside the gym as well.

Everyone is nice and respectful but the gym is so dirty. I hate that it’s the closest one.

Biggest complaint though - they never have clamps!!!!!! It’s like they refuse to get some and this could be dangerous. Half of the benches and squats racks will NOT have clamps so lifting heavy gets harder. If you deadlift you’ll just have to fix the weights after each set

So today I just paid almost $200 for one month used to use the treadmill. This has to be one of the worst mistakes in my life. And then I walk in there today and the alarm goes off once again saying I owe $25 more than the almost $200 I had to pay today. This has to be the most expensive gym in all of the United States to be the most dirtiest. Ps and after I paid that they say it own 20 more that’s almost 200 dollars do not come here it’s a scam and they will drain your bank accounts and now it’s 80 a month for a dirty gym and good luck finding somebody at the desk if you don’t have to stand there for five minutes and do they even have anybody to clean this place because I see the same dirty bands in the same shower every day the management here should be ashamed and they should be investigated if you join this particular gym, you were regretted your bank account will regret it with the surprise, billing and surprise fees and surprise late fees they will clear your account out and if you do choose this gym, I would advise you to use a prepaid card do not give them access to your accountThis building, especially should be condemned. They do not take care of it and they do not take care of their customers please take my advice before joining this gym especially this one.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM

Constant equipment issues. I’ve been emailing Brooke and McKenna since January about the broken stair-masters. On average less than half work at any given time so you have to basically wait by the machine to work in. All this location cares about is signing you up for one of their studios.

Love this location! (Admittedly, I’ve not been to others.) The people are great, they take care of the equipment, every staff member I’ve met has been super friendly… I really have nothing negative to say. I assume all locations have the same amenities, but I can say that this one has allll kinds of weight machines and free weights, rowing machines, ellipticals, treadmills, stair climbing machines, recumbent bikes, stationary bikes, and several things I’m not sure what they are. There is a basketball court, a hot tub, a pool, battle ropes, weighted balls of different sizes, kettlebells, balance balls, massage chairs, tanning beds, childcare, and protein drinks! And classes - they have tons of classes - some available for everyone, some for studio members, and they have private coaching available as well. I’m absolutely certain there are things I don’t know about yet, but those are the things I DO know! If you’re looking for a place to exercise, I say VASA is the place to go. They have everything!

JUST DONT SIGN UP.
started aug 2024 and put plan on pause as i got my health on track to come back and be charged for the months on pause. ( why pause if i still have to pay but can’t go in facility while paused- sus #1) I go to cancel they required I paid my full amount due from the pause( ridiculous since it was paused but still did it) then they charge me a 25 cancellation fee. It’s not even worth it… the gyms are over packed and the times I went I rarely saw employees cleaning machines. Sooo now I’m almost $200 in the hole for something I never benefited from. AGAIN DONT SIGN UP GO SOMEWHERE ELSE… YOUR BEDROOM WIULD BE BETTER THAN HERE.

Today was my first workout at this gym. It was 80 degrees inside on one thermostat and 76 on another. I asked someone at the desk and he said the AC just can't keep up and its just the heat beatingon the roof. It was 86 outside when I had left, maybe up to 92 earlier in the day. Lot's of big places do better keeping it cooler. I was excited to join, I mostly joined for hot summer months when outside exercise isn't possible. It is hard to push myself in that temperature. Looking through reviews I see the same feedback from a year ago, and it hasn't been fixed. Otherwise the gym has what i am looking for. Unfortunately my membership may be short lived.

I have to decided to switch to a different gym after coming here for multiple years. Vasa does not care about the privacy of their patrons, I have mentioned that people are taking photos in the locker room which is an expected place of privacy, so essentially the people taking photos in the locker room could be charged with criminal invasion of privacy which is a class 2 misdemeanor if another person who does not give consent is in the photograph, but the management team does not seem to care. I have offered to manage their location several times, but they keep hiring these General managers who have no clue on how to operate a gym. I hope the District manager views this an contacts me, so we can discuss improvement methods and ways to avoid legal issues.

Vasa does a great job hiding fees in the small print of their agreement. I just spent about 6 weeks in Aurora so I figured $15/month at Vasa was reasonable. Turns out when I go to cancel that they have a “30 day notice policy” to cancel, so I owe the next months membership fee ($17, fair enough), a cancellation fee ($25, starting to get a little pissed) and a $50 rate guarantee fee to lock in my rate for the next 6 months at a gym I’m NEVER GOING BACK TO. Basically it cost me $92 to cancel a $15/month membership. Also the gym kinda sucks, most of the equipment is old or broken.

Dirty gym. This place has gone really down his last few months. Some, not all of the employees don’t care either. Said something about the trash and no soap in the dispensers and her response was, “oops” and proceeded to just sit in the break room not doing anything. Water filters have been red for over 3 months now as well as the sauna door being broken. Sad because it used to be a great gym now it’s awful and gross

Absolutely terrible gym etiquette at this location. Almost nobody re-racks their weights. Barbells and dumbbells are left all over the floor, machines are constantly loaded up and abandoned. Extremely disappointed with VASA Fitness corporate and its decision makers.

While I love my local gym and the community it fosters, corporate management is completely out of touch with its members. The decision to remove all cycle classes is not only baffling, it’s disrespectful to loyal members who rely on low-impact cardio options for sustainable fitness.

Instead of listening to longtime members or evaluating consistent attendance data, they seem more focused on chasing fleeting trends. Schedule changes are constant and poorly communicated, if at all. There’s no transparency, no accountability, and worst of all — no regard for the diverse fitness needs of their actual users.

VASA corporate clearly doesn’t value member feedback, longevity, or a balanced approach to wellness. If they continue down this path, they'll alienate the very people who helped build their success in the first place.

Do better. Listen to your core members. Fitness isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Just want to give a hands up to Tony who operates as the MOD nearly every morning. The morning crew who comes early in the morning loves Tony, because since he has been in place, the gym has been opened on time. Tony presence as MOD gives support to the front desk staff. Tony is respected and he cares about everyone’s experience here at the VASA Quincy location. Tony is vibrant and energetic every morning which is nice. You don’t always get a pleasant greeting from staff so it’s definitely upbeat when Tony speaks, saying hello and wishing you a good workout. Another good fact about having Tony on board is that he handles all matters and issues brought to him in an expeditious manner. Tony knows operations and has the skills & knowledge and is equipped to be in a leadership role. VASA NEEDS MORE PEOPLE LIKE HIM IN PLACE. Tony is one of the reasons why I haven’t ended my membership at VASA. Also, I’ve shared this positive feedback with both Chelsea & Jordan. I hope they and others recognize the outstanding job & work Tony has done and continues to do at VASA Quincy gym. Thank you, Tony, for all that you do! Keep up the great work!! - Kayla

Tony is the reason I keep coming back to VASA Fitness at Quincy and Buckley.

He shows true leadership and manager-level skills every single day. One time, I had an emergency situation, and Tony handled it quickly and calmly. He triaged what was happening, offered clear next steps, and made sure I felt supported throughout. His ability to lead under pressure is something I won’t forget.

Tony is also incredibly versatile—he can fill in for any class with confidence, and he always brings great energy. On top of that, he consistently keeps everyone informed about current promotions and highlights the positive things happening in the company. You can tell he really believes in what VASA stands for, and that energy is contagious.

For me, Tony is VASA. He’s the reason the gym feels like a place I want to be. VASA Fitness would be smart to recognize what they have in him—Tony deserves to be in a leadership position where he can keep shaping the experience for members like me.

I signed up for the fitness plan to use the pool and canceled a few days later, wasting $50 because they won’t refund me. What they don’t tell you when you sign up is you only get 3 free classes with this plan and you have to upgrade to get more. There is also a $25 cancellation fee if you cancel within the first 6 months. A lot of their equipment is broken, including the pool which I only got to use once because every time I showed up it was closed. When I asked why they said it was because their pool maintenance people didn’t show up when they were supposed to, so it seems like they are not very organized. It is also way overcrowded any time of day. I would save your money and go elsewhere because this was a terrible experience.

I cancelled my membership today after being with VASA Fitness since November 2017. While I stayed for years hoping for improvement, the experience has been consistently disappointing.
One of the biggest issues has been cleanliness. I’ve asked multiple times for the gym to be better maintained, but the floors, locker rooms, and equipment are often dirty. Many machines are frequently broken or out of service, sometimes for weeks, and when they do work,
After so many years, I finally decided it was time to move on. I hope VASA improves in the future, but I can’t justify continuing my membership under these conditions.

I have done flow restore and deep stretch with her and on every setting she is knowledgeable, attentive and makes effective routines. I have found myself coming to the gym more and rounding out my work outs with lifting and cardio because I look forward to yoga. And if I am there I might as well hit it all. I have gone from not going for months and having anxiety about going to going 5 to 6 times a week. And upgrading my membership so I can enjoy unlimited classes. The restore classes in particular make a huge difference for me. Because I don't think health is only physical. So to have a space to take care of my mental health through meditation and restorative yoga every week is really a huge deal to me. Gym is very overcrowded most of the time. The worst part is trying to cancel a subscription. I originally froze my account but it unfreezes after a couple of months and will automatically start billing you again. I had a negative balance of $50 and they do not allow cancellation of the membership until the balance is paid. I paid the balance I owed to cancel, and they charged me an additional $12.50 to cancel my membership after I paid my debts. They state they will charge a cancellation fee for memberships under 6 months but I was a member for 2 years. Cancelling the membership took longer than it should have. Most companies make it really easy to cancel your membership but VASA Fitness makes it annoying on purpose to hopefully encourage you not to cancel. It's the most predatory membership I've ever signed up for.

The lack of equipment maintence is insane. Only 1 of the 7 stairmasters has been fully safe and functional for the past 3 months. One of the other 6 broken ones has a stair that's been cracked and feels like it's about to cave in. I've complained about it multiple times due to it being extremely unstable and unsafe and they don't even put an out of order sign on it. I've been anxiously anticipating the day it cracks, someone's foot goes through it, they get an ankle/knee injury, and here comes a lawsuit. I keep being told they're waiting for parts, but this gym doesn't need new parts it needs new equipment altogether. I've bonded more in the past two months with fellow gym goers over the equipment negligence than I have in any gym over anything else in my entire life.

To put it into perspective, the staff has run out of "out of order" maintence signs to put on equipment and have had to resort to printing out a piece of paper thay says out of order. That's how much of their equipment is down. All of the cardio equipment creaks, squeaks, cracks, scrapes, clunks, and does pretty much everything aside from work properly. The sauna and/or pool is closed or down for maintence on and off consistently. The cable equipment catches, scrapes, doesn't run smoothly and is extremely worn.

Despite all of this, the staff has always been friendly, communicative, and helpful. I was only going to this gym because it's close to my house, but after months of having to wait to use equipment for it to end up still being broken, I'm probably going to go to a slightly farther one up the street that has updated equipment. Every other Vasa I've been to in Colorado has had updated and well maintained equipment.

I understand the staff is not to blame for the outdated and broken equipment. They just work there. Everyone has jobs to pay their bills. But corporate must really not like this location or something because the funding is clearly lacking. But don't take my word for it, look at the multiple other recent bad reviews going over the exact issues I've expressed above. You'd think they'd take action on something like this.

At the end of the day, people go to the gym to better themselves, regardless of the reason or method. The gym is supposed to be a clean, safe, functioning environment.

The people of Aurora deserve better.

love, love, love this gym but WHY are the stairmasters ALWAYS all broken? They’ll fix them and then a week later we are down to 2-3. I never get to use that equipment when I come to this location due to the line of people always waiting.

The equipment at this gym needs to be replaced before a member gets injured. Every single time I visit this gym, at least half if not all of the 8 stairmasters are broken. Not only do they not function, the steps also often have holes in them or are so weak, they need to be replaced.

90% of the other machines desperately need maintenance or some kind of WD40. They squeak and still like they are also about to break. All of the equipment is wildly outdated.

I’m not sure what kind of standards gyms need to follow, but I doubt this place would pass a safety inspection.

And for a gym that makes millions a year, this is completely unacceptable.

Don’t get me started on the bathrooms… every location I’ve visited in Denver is disgusting. They do not maintain them at all. Trash all over the floor, flooding, moldy showers, moldy curtains. The spa/hot tub smells like feet… not chlorine.

The only positive thing about this gym is the staff. The people that work here are very kind and knowledgeable. I think the management of these gyms is the issue here.

Worst experience I have had with a gym. You cant cancel a training contract in person (but you can start one there), or in the app. Only with their support email. I emailed to cancel on Dec 5, no response. Then 5 times more over the next month - no response. And they keep charging my account (I got the merchant blocked). But they keep running up the balance! They are probably going to report it to collections. In the meantime, they give me a hard time every time I enter the gym due to the negative balance. So I started telling them the issue is that their billing team is awful. This hurt employees feelings apparently, and now I am banned from the gym. Just wild. How about acknowledging and fixing my situation?

Don't trust these guys.

**In response to the below reply**: I have followed the cancellation process precisely and have not been told otherwise. Once you are beyond the first 6 months (which I have been for a while) it goes month to month. Once month to month, 30 days notice via email is required. I satisfied this on Dec 5 (and then many times since then). We are in Feb, and VASA keeps running up charges. it is messed up that cancellation is limited to email and the team doesn't seem to check it at all; and VASA is content to keep running up charges despite numerous complaints. If this is left unresolved I will be submitting a BBB and FTC complaint.

UPDATE: Even the so called 'owner' responses to posted reviews are questionable and likely not from a live person. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS GYM!
If I could give VASA 0 stars I would have, as I have never dealt with a more unethical business. I have been a member for 3 years and haven't used their services for over 2 of those years. When I called to cancel my membership, they informed me that I would need to pay a one month notice fee, as well as $50 in 'bank fees' from 2022 that I was never notified of. The requirement of a one month notice to cancel and associated fee was not mentioned when I signed up and when I asked about cancellation fees, i was told there wouldn't be any fee as long as i kept the membership for at least 6 months. Now, 3 years later, they are requiring me to pay a fee to cancel. DO NOT TRUST THIS GYM TO BE TRANSPARENT OR FORTHCOMING ABOUT HOW YOUR MEMBERSHIP WORKS! They are after every penny they can get and are willing to nickle and dime you to get it!

We go to the gym regularly and find that Vasa has much to offer. Whether it's weights, pool, massage chairs, or classes we have found it a decent place to workout. Unfortunately, there are long-term issues that don't an to be a priority including cold showers in the women's locker room, debris in the pool, many broken cardio machines, and a priority on "branding" rather than customer service.

Disappointing Experience at Vasa Fitness

I joined Vasa Fitness at 16921 E Quincy Ave, Aurora, CO more than 2 years ago, and my experience has been quite disappointing.
The restroom has a persistent bad smell, the locker and shower areas remain in dire need of attention. The showers are semi-broken. Additionally, I've noticed hair branches left in the showers, which is both unappealing and unhygienic.
Overall, I cannot recommend Vasa Fitness due to these ongoing cleanliness and maintenance issues, if hygiene and functional facilities are important to you

Source: Google

★ 2

The gym is a nice facility, however as we pay our monthly dues, We should see some clean locker rooms and bathroom area. The floors are un cleanly wet, and lockers are left dirty and it seems as the staff forgets or just doesn’t care about the area. There should be a schedule as to cleaning the hot tub, seeing brown foam floating on the water doesn’t make me want to jump in after a hard workout. If it’s not the person who uses and cleans the massage chairs, they probably don’t get clean.
This isn’t a diss to the gym, this is a long time club member who is fed up with the lack of attention and care for the equipment and amenities that we all use. If the employees took the job, they should do the job for us the paying customers. Not just people sitting at the desk leaning over on their phones.

I do not have money issues, They have failed to cancel my subscription. This company is not honest, and they have a horrible business model. When I was attending their gyms, everything was great. I have been a regular at this VASA location for the past six months, and overall, it has been a positive experience, contrary to some of the more negative reviews. The most common complaint I've encountered is about the cleanliness of the locker rooms, and unfortunately, I have to agree with this. As of my last visit, the men's locker room could definitely use some attention in terms of sanitation.

That said, I personally don’t use the locker room often since I prefer to go in, work out, and leave. I always keep my backpack or gym bag with me during my workout because I’ve heard about belongings being stolen. If you plan to use the lockers, I highly recommend bringing a combo or padlock for added security, or simply keep your items with you to avoid any issues.

Beyond that, this gym has a lot to offer. It’s spacious and well-equipped with a wide variety of exercise machines. The staff has been friendly and helpful in my experience, and the membership fee is reasonable, especially compared to other gyms that are smaller and offer fewer amenities.

The gym recently underwent renovations, which temporarily impacted the experience—certain areas were closed off, making the space feel crowded. However, now that the renovation is complete, things have returned to normal, and I haven’t encountered any issues finding equipment or space to exercise.

As with any gym, the crowd level can vary depending on the time and day you visit. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, making it harder to find available machines, but in general, it's manageable.

All in all, I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a solid, local option with plenty to offer at a reasonable price—just be mindful of the locker rooms.

The facility is good. The Fitness Cinema would be amazing if they would actually be responsible enough to start the movies and keep it working. The Kid Care staff is great; my children love it here.

The rest of the staff is horrible. They ignore you, won't help fix any problems. They are absolutely incompetent (or act that way to ensure they have to do nothing - weaponized incompetence).

It's a mixed bag.

Edit:
They have removed the Fitness Cinema. I sent an email in hopes to have a dialogue with someone. I was given a Gmail account (not a Vasa account) email and the email was ignored. The only good thing about this gym is the kid care. I am not sure I can deal with how horrible the rest of the staff is (lack of accountability, lack of professionalism, lack of emotional maturity, etc) for the Kid Care area. Vasa’s mission statement and core values state “I will UPLIFT everyone with unity, passion, love integrity, fun and trust. I am a VASA Champion. Everyone has the right to look and feel healthy. VASA Fitness encourages everyone to find happiness through physical and emotional health by creating an accepting atmosphere without intimidation for all members.” That was not the experience my friends and I had tonight. I started coming here a couple years ago at the recommendation of a couple guys I know from the Aurora PD. They said it was a safe place to workout and the staff was friendly. Anyways, there was a staff member who recently started working there…not sure how to describe her, but was working this evening, black lady, kind of bigger, wore a cap…I was talking with some friends and I was on FaceTime with my gf when she came up and yelled at us we had to go. I looked at the clock on my phone let her know we had 8 minutes left. She started cursing and said she was going to call the cops on us. I said “for what? What law did I break?” Every time she walked by she was cursing under her breath and staring hard. I asked her to quit harassing us and she yelled “you better watch it, I’ll get your membership revoked!” I said for what? By this time it was 11:58 pm on my phone but she said the gym is closed and again said I have to go. I pay for a membership that says I can go to any vasa and the business hours are til 12am during the week. I work long hours and I have to go to the gym late, so I try to utilize every minute I get. I was very disappointed in the threats and intimidation tactics and honestly the overall lack of professionalism. She made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable and everything she did went against VASA’s mission statement. Since she started working this location recently she is always yelling at people and being rude telling them they have to go early. I hope VASA in the future can employ and train staff to be more kind and respectful to their members. I go to the gym, put my headphones in and don’t bother anyone. The gym has always been my safe space, but tonight I was truly let down.

Decent spot so far. I enjoy the variety of equipment. Can’t complain too much for ten bucks a month. They used to have bands you could get from the front desk but recently they have stopped handing out the bands. Kinda of the whole reason I go… bring the bands back please

Switched from Planet Fitness looking for a more aggressive vibe and more equipment and halfway regretting it already. This place is filthy and disgusting! Used wipes all over the equipment and floor. Bathrooms and toilets are foul. Tanning room floors are disgusting and dusty as all get out. Some of the equipment is really showing its age and a lot of broken machines. Pretty disappointed so far. Miss the extreme cleanliness of Planet!

*Edit* It has gotten worse since my first review so lowering to 1 star. The men's locker room is absolutely FOUL. The urinal/toilet area smells so bad I can barely stand to be in that area for more than a few seconds. They clearly don't clean because there's dried boogers on the wall that have been here for months now (see pics). Someone needs to just go in and bleach the whole area down! Trash and visible dirt all over the locker room. I like VASA but this location is the dirtiest gym I've ever seen. I wish it wasn't around the corner from my house.

The hot tub was so disgusting last time I went that I took one look at it from 10 feet away and immediately left. The entire pool/hot tub area needs an extremely thorough deep clean and probably drain. The women’s bathroom is also a horror show, clogged toilets every other time I’m there and the showers drains have hair in every single one.

They have a lot of equipment but it’s frustrating when half of it is broken. Each day at least 2 stair step machines aren’t working, and there are only 6 total. They get fixed one day and then break again the next. Please consider replacing them—they clearly need it. I’ve also had issues with several treadmills suddenly stopping mid-workout or not working at all.

I’m very impressed with this organization. It is clean and has a great selection of exercise equipment and classes. At this time I am using the pool for my PT; however, I am looking forward to trying more classes.

I’ve been coming here for 4 years and never had a problem with an employee until Miranda started working here, we’ve had several incidents. Last week she got out of hand and started cursing at me and getting loud and over excited. As she walked away I asked her coworker for her name and he refused to give me her name so I can report her. She started saying that her manager will put me in my place again, which never happened and if he actually did that wouldn’t be professional of him. So I had go get my girlfriend and send her in alone so we can get her name since they refuse to give it to me. Come to find out I’m not the only customer she’s had issues with. Hopefully they can do something with this unprofessional, rude employee!
