We’ve been absolutely thrilled with the swim lessons our boys have received from Coach Alex and Coach Jack! The instruction is incredibly personalized to each of our boys’ needs, and the coaches really take the time to help them build confidence and skills. We’ve seen a huge difference in such a short time—far more progress than we saw in over a year of previous swim lessons elsewhere. Highly recommend!

WOW! My daughter started here just a few weeks ago with lessons, and to see her improvement already is incredible! When she first came, she could barely float on her back. Today, I watched her cross the entire pool without any help, going from floating on her back to stomach and swimming. I’m blown away. We have been working with Ethan and she loves him. Great instructors and techniques! Couldn’t recommend more. So grateful to my friend who recommended this to place to us.

This place is amazing! We tried 2 other swim lesson places before this and this has definitely been a million times better than those ones! My daughter has made so much progress in a fraction of the time! Tyler is amazing he manages the place so well! Everything runs so smoothly and he is always making sure we are happy and taken care of! All the teachers we have had are amazing and we have even gotten friends to change over and they love it too! We even joined a family swim night which was so much fun! The water temperature is so perfect for the whole family! My daughter asks everyday if she has swim today! She also loves the kid size pool she gets to play in before and after her lesson!

I had a wonderful experience at the waterworks swimming center! The pool is clean, well-maintained, and the water temperature is perfect. The instructors are patient, friendly, and great with kids . My child’s confidence in the water has improved so much thanks to their lessons. The staff is always welcoming and the facility feels very safe. Highly recommend this place for swimming lessons.

Great staff from manager, desk, to instructors. I moved my daughter to waterworks last spring. As she wasn't not making much progress at another place. She went to anithet place for 4 years and she was still afraid to put her face in the water, was uncomfortable in the water, and didn't know the basics. In addition. Never ciuld get make ups. As a former lifeguard, I kmow swimming is so important with all the pools here, but also its a life long skill that will always be with her.

Since, the change due to partly the ability to swim a bit before or after her session and it being semi probate my daughter has grown so much. She is now, not just comfortable but had found a joy for swimming, she know how to stay safe and the crawl.and learning the breast stroke. There are times, I can find for make ups and I love that I can make changes through the app or even put on a waitlist for new days and/or times as I need and not lose our current spot. (Last summer that was important). Also, I am not losing my make ups. If I can run use them right away.

We have had a few instructors and all were very knowledgeable and supportive. I even at times go in and do laps in their lap lane piok. We couldn't be happier.

Review for Swim Instructor Dziko!

We couldn’t be more thrilled with Dziko as our daughter’s swim instructor! From the very first session, there was an instant connection between them—something we hadn’t experienced before. Dziko’s approach is both encouraging and effective, and it’s clear she truly understands how to connect with kids on their level.

Thanks to her guidance, my daughter has already met a swimming milestone she had been struggling with for quite some time. That kind of progress speaks volumes. I’ve even rearranged my schedule to make sure we can keep working with Dziko because I’m confident my daughter’s skills will continue to grow under her instruction.

Highly recommend!

We brought our granddaughter to Waterworks after struggling through swim lessons at two other locations. Luckily, they recommended Tyler for our little one. He has helped us work through water traumas through lessons and also given us tips and tricks to practice in the bath to ease our granddaughter’s anxiety around the water. Because of Tyler’s patience, our little two year old went from screaming the entire lesson to having the best time going underwater, jumping in, etc. Thanks, Tyler for not giving up on us!

Waterworks Aquatics has been awesome! My kiddo was in lessons at another swim school for NINE months and had at least as many instructors there. Needless to say, NO swimming was learned, and thousands of dollars were wasted (with nothing but excuses for the lack of progress). So, I understandably had some trepidation coming into a new swim school. However, I have been BLOWN AWAY by how great our experience has been. Night and day difference! Alex is my kiddo’s instructor, and I can’t say enough good things about him or his teaching techniques. He’s been patient and encouraging but is also realistic about where my kiddo is skill-wise and what needs to be done in order to continue to improve. Alex has had an uphill battle because of my kiddo’s poor experience at the previous swim school and had to deal with a lot of fear and reluctance. My kiddo did NOT want to swim and was afraid of the water, but now is not only making it across the pool multiple times without assistance, but is jumping in and enjoying playing in the water when not in lessons. I would 100% recommend Waterworks Aquatics, and especially Alex, as he’s gotten my kiddo to actually swim and progress quickly, which I had started to worry would never happen.

We have nothing but good things to say about Waterworks. We started in the spring when our son (now 6) wasn’t making any progress in another local swim program. We immediately saw results. He went from level 2 and very unsure of himself in the water to a level 8, confident, and loving every lesson. His instructor, Alex, has really been able to individualize motivation techniques and skill work to our son’s temperament and abilities. We’ve started our daughter (3) in lessons now as well and are also seeing progress each week.

Waterworks has one of the best facilities in the area with full sized lesson pools and a shallow play pool for before or after lessons. They have shower facilities including a family area and swimsuit driers. The instructors are well trained and patient with kiddos. The manager, Tyler, is excellent and goes above and beyond for both clients and staff.

We like Waterworks but our favorite thing is my son’s swim instructor, Justin. He makes good progress in swim instruction but he also makes it fun. We’ve had a few other swim instructor’s over time and they were fine but my son never looked forward to going to swim class until Justin was his instructor. He also has enjoyed the play pool for before/after class.

Over the past two years, my younger brothers, who are both special needs, have had the privilege of learning from Coach Jack, and I cannot say enough about how truly amazing he is as a swim instructor. From the very beginning, he showed such patience, kindness, and genuine care—not just for teaching swimming skills, but for building confidence in the water. Jack has a natural way of making kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn, and he worked with my brothers in such a respectful, understanding, and encouraging way.

What stood out most to me was his balance of professionalism and warmth. He always encouraged the boys with positivity, met them at their level, and celebrated even the smallest victories, which kept them motivated and smiling. They absolutely loved going to lessons because of him, and I could see how much he truly invested in their progress.

Jack isn’t just a teacher; he’s a role model. He brings so much heart and dedication to what he does, and it makes all the difference. I am beyond grateful for the impact he’s had on my brothers, and I know the lessons he’s taught them will stick with them for life—both in and out of the pool.

If you’re looking for someone who is not only highly skilled, but also compassionate, patient, and deeply committed to his students—especially those with special needs—I wholeheartedly recommend Coach Jack. He is truly one of a kind, and anyone would be lucky to work with him.

6 out of 5 stars for sure! My wife and I have been bringing our son here since he was 3 months old, now almost 7 months, to help with his introduction to water and swimming. It made the summer, pools, and bath time far more enjoyable for everyone involved. The staff is amazing, we swim with Tyler for now in the Parent and Me swim lessons, and the pool is heated which makes it truly nice for our son and us to be swimming. Would highly recommend Waterworks Aquatics to help the little ones learn about swimming and being in water.

My kids have been taking lessons here for around a year and have become such amazing swimmers! They progressed SIGNIFICANTLY faster at Waterworks than they did at their previous swim school. They love their instructors (shout out to McKaela and Justin!) and have enjoyed every makeup class with other instructors as well. The staff here is awesome all around.

Having consistent instructors week over week has been a huge bonus and has been a major contributing factor to their progress. Having small classes (max 2:1 ratio for 20 min, and sometimes 1:1 if you go at the right time!) is amazing, and they get so much direct attention.

Definitely send your kids here if you’re considering lessons!

We started at Waterworks with "parent and me" class when my youngest was around 1 year old (now 8). He progressed through the levels up to level 12 and is now on the local swim team - HRA - where he was also just promoted to the next group level. My younger child (age 4) started lessons a bit later, also at Waterworks, and she recently moved from level 2 to level 6 in a week with daily private lessons at Waterworks. She loves the play pool to warm up before class as well.

We are thrilled with the results from this place and with the super friendly & accommodating staff. The super warm water also helps a lot! And there are plenty of changing areas and restrooms. The parking is a breeze and the computer system easy to navigate to book single or ongoing lessons.

All three of our daughters have gone to Waterworks and it has been the best experience for each of them! Their method is tried and true and lasts the test of time! Our oldest is a teen and still benefits from what she learned there. We live closer to others so have tried those, but we always come back to Waterworks. Each of our kids has different personalities and needs, and each of them thrived at Waterworks. Our youngest has been particularly challenging, having some sensory issues, and Justin has been wonderful! She actually LOVES her lessons with him. I highly recommend Waterworks!

We have done swim lessons for our son at AquaTots and Swim Labs, and nothing compares to WaterWorks. Waterworks is such a phenomenal place. They have actual lap pools and the instructors are amazing. Our sons primary instructors have been Tyler and Jack, and within 8 lessons he was swimming laps. Every time we tell our son it's time to go for his swimming lesson he is so excited to go and looks forward to meeting Tyler and Jack. Our son loves swimming here and has learned so much. You can't go wrong at Waterworks because the technique they use to teach swimming works and we could not be happier.

We have been coming to Highlands Ranch Waterworks since October. My kids both have had excellent experiences with their teachers. We are super satisfied with our experience at Waterworks so far! Our daughter had been attending a different swim school previously and stayed in Level 2 for nearly a year. One of our friends recommended Waterworks, and we’re so glad they did. Within about six months of joining, she advanced all the way to Level 5!

We are especially grateful to her amazing instructors—Ms. Natalie and her first teacher, Ms. Taylor. Both of them have been wonderful at helping her overcome her fears and making her feel comfortable in the water. Our daughter tends to be socially shy, so we were pleasantly surprised to see her joking and bonding with both teachers. They’ve become her favorites!

She now looks forward to swim class every week—it’s the highlight of her week. We would highly recommend Waterworks Swim School to any parents looking for a supportive, effective, and fun environment for their little swimmers.

Where do we begin.

Clean facilities - warm water - massive changing rooms - incredible staff.

We’ve been enjoying our time as our 2 year old seemingly never stops talking about ‘the pool’. From cold and frigid waters at other recreation centers, to warm waters and welcoming instructors. . We will definitely continue our journey here.

TYLER CAVAN. request him. Utilize his skills. Get this guy a RAISE.

Our son is obsessed with his style of instructing. Fun, easygoing and most importantly - made Mom feel like she was part of the action.

Oh. And don’t forget the sharks on the walls, along with unique treasure chest up front.

This is a must for anyone looking at swim training

Thank you Tyler Cavan for going above and beyond.

My son won the swimming instructor lottery with Tyler! He's very hands on, attentive, and quick to explain and correct in a very positive and encouraging way. After trying rec center swim lessons and another swim school for multiple years we made very little progress and my kids were still dangerous in the water. We switched to waterworks and within in 2-3 lessons were swimming independently and confidently. The teaching style is much more effective and I appreciate that the teachers want to challenge the kids to improve and don't seem focused on trying to take all our money by keeping a kid in the same level for months.

There are showers and changing tables and hair dryers and everything else you may need.

Waterworks Aquatics in Highlands Ranch has been an absolutely amazing place for our granddaughters swimming lessons. Tyler is our instructor for both girls and he is also the manager. He has been just wonderful as an instructor. Our youngest is 5 and she swims the length of the pool up and back with no assistance already and our oldest has Angelman's Syndrome and Tyler has been patient and caring with her lessons. We have tried 3 other pools over the past 5 years (with our oldest) before coming to Waterworks Aquatics in Highlands Ranch about a year and a half ago and won't even think of going anywhere else. Not only is he very professional, caring, and nice, he goes out of his way to accommodate my granddaughters and our schedule. The other instructors seem very knowledgeable and pleasant as well. Our first experience was amazing. Prior to going to Waterworks in Highlands Ranch we tried two different Aqua-Tots locations for over six months for our 34 month only grandson and both were a disaster. We were referred to Waterworks by a family friend and could not be more happy. The managers and swim instructor (Aaron) welcomed us upon arriving and walked us through what would happen in the first session as well as future sessions. Aaron very quickly made our grandson very comfortable and then quickly assessed his skill level while ensuring our grandson was having fun, which we thought was great for the first session. We are so excited to have found such a great organization to work with and appreciate their focus on child engagement and customer satisfaction. Although this is a new beginning, we highly recommend them. Thank you so much Waterworks Aquatics of Highlands Ranch!

2024-Oct

We visited this facility during their Friends and Family Halloween Swim.

There were ample complimentary parking spaces available in the vicinity of the building.

The children's pool was comfortably heated, maintaining a temperature of approximately 90° Fahrenheit. Shower facilities with changing areas and a clothes dryer were also provided.

The temperature of the water in the lap pools was refreshingly cool.

The pools were well-maintained and clean.

There were lifeguards.

The staff demonstrated exceptional courtesy and friendliness!!

I’ve had a poor experience because of forced rescheduling, similar to other reviews. We have two children in private lessons at the same time. They rescheduled the time on one without our permission and cancelled the other one outright. They gave us 35 minutes notice on the cancelled one. I went into the system to cancel the one they moved because I obviously cannot have one child in a lesson while the other one is forced to sit on the sidelines, but they will not issue a make up and we now lost the credit entirely. This is a poorly run business with ridiculous penalties…even when they are the cause of the cancellation. We’ve been coming here on and off for years and scheduling has always been a problem.

**Updating my review from 1 to 3 stars based on follow up interactions with Alicia in Customer Relations. I appreciate the way Waterworks reached out to rectify the situation and the steps they are taking to ensure our experience is improved going forward. Great follow up experience overall.

I really appreciated Tom's thoughtful approach with our kids. He got them to think and pay attention to what they were doing with their strokes, by taking a couple minutes intermittently to ask them questions. He gave great tips and explanations to the kids about the mechanics of each of the different strokes. He was able to corrale our kids' attention with just enough authority and volume (our kids get easily distracted, and pool/water noise can contribute to that), but always, always he had a positive and encouraging way with them, and a sense of humor. It can be a fine line to keep some kids engaged, while truly instructing and challenging them - and Tom was great at this. I think kids respond better when it's apparent their teacher is genuinely invested in what they're doing. I may have even learned a little watching from the side!

We started our daughter's swim journey with Waterworks Aquatics when she was just 3 months old, and now, at 18 months, the progress she has made is truly remarkable. The instructors have played a pivotal role in this journey. Their patience and skill in understanding and meeting the unique needs of our daughter have been outstanding. They have adeptly balanced nurturing with gentle encouragement, pushing her forward when she showed signs of readiness and thriving.

The warm and welcoming environment has made each lesson something our daughter looks forward to. The instructors' ability to connect with her at her level, yet progressively challenge her skills, has fostered not just her swimming abilities but also her confidence and love for the water.

We are immensely grateful to the team at Waterworks Aquatics for their dedication and expertise. Their approach to teaching young children to swim is both effective and caring. We highly recommend Waterworks Aquatics to any parent considering swim lessons for their child. It's not just a lesson; it's an experience that nurtures a lifelong skill and love for swimming.

Highly recommend parents to bring in their new swimmers.

We really like Waterworks in Highlands Ranch. The facility is nice. Everyone is polite and friendly. I do appreciate the instructors giving feedback at the end of each class. We tried a few different instructors, and we stopped on instructor Tomika. I believe she is very good with my child, and I can see the progress she has made because of her teacher.

We’ve been going to Waterworks in Highlands Ranch for over three years and have nothing but positive experiences. Our kiddo is special needs and they offer scholarships from Developmental Pathways. Their instructors are enthusiastic and great with the kids. We really appreciate the full sized pools and locker rooms. Special shout out to their service representatives Debbie and Christian. They are all very responsive and courteous.

Waterworks highlands ranch moved our lessons to a new time without our permission and failed to accurately schedule both kids. Had spoken to customer service many times, only one of three kids were ever scheduled correctly. They have so much business, I don't think they care about each individual child and their progress. Find another place.

The actual classes are great but their pricing and scheduling is predatory and scammy. We’ve done parent and me classes for about a year total. Our kiddo has maxed out the toddler and me intermediate class skill wise but they haven’t done anything to help us find the next level so after we had used our outstanding credits we planned to switch schools. We also planned to switch because there were a number of times they cancelled class while we were on the way or less than an hour before which of course gave us more make up credits, explained why that’s a problem below.
For scheduling you HAVE to pay for a recurring class and if it’s rescheduled you’re given a make up credit. But then you just accumulate make up credits and can’t use them unless you schedule multiple classes a week which they don’t offer for your age range…
So then you cancel your recurring scheduled classes to use the make up classes you’ve accumulated and then the make up classes expire almost immediately and in order to reinstate them you have to pay for another class. We lost 3 classes in this 30 day expiration window but our only class options are Sundays so with Christmas and new years we literally couldn’t get on the schedule. Last time we accumulated a ton of make ups I asked the front desk for help and got a pretty convoluted answer which boiled down to we can’t really help you.
TLDR if you never need to reschedule you’ll be fine. Otherwise you’ll lose out on a lot of money.

If I was able to give them zero star, I would do it. I purchased the classes for my two little daughter at the same time. Everytime, before two hours to my appointments, they always sent me the messages which said that one of their swimming instructors was not able to see one of my daughters. Finally, I had to cancel the other one. However, following their policy, I lost the class because of their fault. This is horrible service I ever met.

First time here and I already love love love this place.

I have two children enrolled in a semi-private lesson each, a 6yo and a 3yo. Both pretty new to swimming. The instructors were great with each of them. Gentle, encouraging, but still challenging my 3yo, who cried half the lesson (not the instructor's fault, she just cries at everything). And pushed my 6yo to the perfect amount. I feel like both my children were challenged, yet the instructors made it so much fun for them, they are excited to come back for their next lesson.

Not to mention they have an AWESOME 2.5 ft pool for the kids to play/practice in before or after the lesson.

I was disappointed with my experience at Waterworks. I don't blame this entirely on this location. Our first teacher no-showed the first two lessons so I switched teachers. I also was annoyed that teachers could cancel up to an hour before the lesson and had that happen with another teacher- but I didn't see the notice until after I had arrived. So kids left crying- again.

The instruction was fine and I did see my kids make progress. They enjoyed most of the teachers we tried. Overall, it was an OK experience but the online system is incredibly frustrating and your classes can get lost if canceled so you have to be very aware of your package details. I'll try somewhere else next time though.

This place is the WORST!! We decided to have my daughter (3) and her friend (2.5) take swim lessons together. On the first lesson, the teacher placed my daughter on the ledge in the pool while she swam with the swim buddy. The teacher had her back completely turned to my daughter. My daughter moved too far over on the ledge and fell off into the water. The teacher had no idea. As I’m reaching over the pool to grab my daughter out, yelling at the teacher, she finally turns around and scoops her out of the water back onto the ledge. Luckily my daughter didn’t sink like an anchor but that could’ve ended very badly. That alone should’ve been a big enough warning to never return. Instead, I decided to go home and talk over what happened with my husband who didn’t come to the lesson with us. Before we could make up our mind about the next lesson, it was canceled. I figured this was a sign so I called to get a refund for the two classes I had already purchased and didn’t use. The woman told me that because I didn’t say at my first lesson before we left the building that we wouldn’t be returning, that a refund wasn’t possible. Instead they offered to switch teachers. I wish I could tell you how this new teacher is but every class with her has been canceled and we have yet to be able to get in since that first class. Not only that but they canceled one of the classes an hour before we were to arrive. The topping on the cake was that they recently canceled all classes I had scheduled on my account because I wouldn’t purchase additional lessons. Mind you, I still have those two classes remaining. They told me that because the classes got canceled (their doing, not mine) they are now considered make up classes and can’t be scheduled more then a week in advance. However, ‘paid’ classes can which means it’ll be impossible to get my kid in with her swim buddy. This place has been a nightmare from day 1. Stay away!!!!!

UPDATE: I feel like you guys are just messing with us now! We are already here at swim lessons, 8:30am lessons start at 8:40, and we JUST NOW receive a text saying the lessons are canceled. You guys are a joke!!!!

I enrolled my two grandchildren to Waterworks in November of 2019. At ages 8 and 11, they could not swim at all, but were convinced they could swim, and were careless and dangerous around a pool! They adored Lindsay, and learned quickly, progressing from 0 to 9 in just a few short months! We had Ilo for a while where they improved to level 10, and now we have Dalton, who is fine tuning them to prepare for level 11. We have far surpassed our initial goal of being basically safe in the water, they enjoy it so much we continued the lessons, and with the pandemic its really the only real exercise they get!
I can swim, I took lessons as a child, and i find the Waterworks methods to be superior to the old ways! I have learned a lot myself just observing! The instructors are observant, patient and firm, and they are also fun and friendly! I couldn't ask for a better experience!

We've been going to WWA for a few years now, after being at two other swim facilities for some time. Waterworks Aquatics is AMAZING! My son was able to progress from level 3 to confident swimmer in a matter of a couple of months!! Now he is 8 y o at level 11, confident swimmer, working on his times and polishing his swimming and diving techniques. A special shout out to Ms. Emma who regularly helps get my son back into the groove after being away for sickness for few weeks – due to his weaker immune system.
I have been impressed with how well Emma interacts with my kid and the other children she teaches. I love how she is flexible with the ever-changing moods and wants of theirs when they are hesitant or not so cooperative for different reasons. Emma is very organized, enthusiastic, she easily engages him and encourages him to push his limits. My son responds to her coaching and progresses so well! Emma is very open with communication and consistently offers feedback and suggestions. We are very grateful parents. Thank you, Emma and WWA!

I used to bring my son in Nov 2016 to another swim school and he was screaming off his lungs most of the time. I felt that swimming should be a fun experience instead of a shadow so I was ready to give up and wait for another year.

My friend recommended Waterworks Aquatics in June 2017 and of course my three year old screamed to change back from swim suits at the first class. Aleks said "just bring him next time and we'll play some games." Like, so easy. And it worked! As a 3 year old boy, my son started to love swimming and Aleks brought him from 0 all the way to level 6 by December 2017 (twice each week). Now he can swim free style for 25 feet, and back stroke about 10 feet, all by himself.

One thing I like Waterworks especially is that they have a babypool that kids can play before and after their lesson, with very warm water. Instead of the hustle and rustle to change the kid before and after a 20 mins class immediately, the kids can actually play in the water and get comfortable with water, which I feel like is the key for progress. Once my son was willing to wear goggles in the baby pool and put his face in the water, he started to level up to 3, then all the way to 6. Before that the major thing holding him back was fear and a sense of insecurity in water. Aleks was super patient and for me as long as he was willing to come to "the one with a shark" instead of screaming no I was pretty happy.

Aleks and his colleagues went above and beyond to help my son and me. They provide adult swim lesson as well so I decided to go for it. They have a baby pool deck guard which made it feasible, without having to wait for my husband to make room from his crazy work schedule to watch my son when I have my swim lesson. At the beginning I was super nervous, but every time I came back from my lesson my son was a super happy baby chatting with Brandi the lifeguard and/or Ms Anna or Ms Rachel another swim instructor. And to make our swim schedules back to back Aleks sacrificed lots of his free time so that a toddler does not need to wait for one hour after mommy's lesson to get his. Especially at the beginning I think we will have nothing but a fuzzy baby by that time. So from July to end of November 2017, I learned to swim freestyle, back stroke and breast stroke. This is the biggest deal of the year for me as I've always wanted to learn to swim. Thanks to them, I made it, without stress, but indeed a fun and quality time I spend with my son each week twice.

I hope this information can help you guys. Happy New Year!!

We absolutely love Waterworks Aquatics and would recommend it for any kind of swimming needs.

The facility itself is fantastic. It is spacious and very well maintained. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Front office and its staff is very welcoming.

But the biggest thing to love about this place is the coaches they have. We originally went to Waterworks for adult swimming lessons for me and my wife. It has been our long time wish to learn basic swimming. Something both of us couldn’t do in our childhood. We tried two different places before coming to Waterworks and these places did not work out for different reasons. But at Waterworks, we just hit it from day one and got really good feeling that we might have found right learning place for us. Then we met coach Adam. He is a rock star! Learning with him has been an amazing experience. He really is passionate about swimming and teaching at the same time. He really understands the challenges and does a great job of working with his students to overcome them. He is a great motivator. We would have given up once again if it were not because of him and now we are on our way to be able to actually swim.
We also enrolled our daughter for semi-private lessons to improve her swim strokes. She has been learning with Coach Rachel and we could not be more pleased. She also has done a great job of tweaking her technique while continuing to push her. We she remarkable improvement in her form and her timing.
If you are looking for great place for any kind of swimming coaching for kids and adults alike, we would strongly recommend Waterworks. You won’t go wrong with it.

I take away a star because we had to work with the administration frequently as our schedule seemed to change every week (our fault) and while the customer service was excellent, they seem to still be working out how to manage Highlands Ranch location with the central call center and headquarters in CA. We love waterworks! Amy is an incredible instructor - very patient and warm, and such a great teacher. My 4 year old has been taking lessons here for about a year and has improved greatly. The only downside is that it is more expensive than other places, but I've felt that the cost is justified.

This is an exceptional facility to learn to swim. The prices are higher than other facilities, but they reflect the quality services. Lessons are only private or semi-private, and because of this required constant attention, my kids have learned to swim much faster than they had at any previous rec center. The pools are warm (and so is the air), kids can swim for fun for 20 minutes before and after each lesson, the instructors are knowledgeable (Samantha and Chance have been great!), the instructors keep me informed of what my child is working on and what's next, the recreational swim meets have been a non-competitive way for the kids to enhance their knowledge of the sport, and lessons can be cancelled and rescheduled only up to two hours beforehand! The call center can be challenging sometimes, but I've always gotten through and received what I needed. This is a great place to learn to swim.

My son has been coming here for well over a year and continues to improve and have fun. He attended another swim school and his progress was slow (and painful to watch). Switching to Waterworks Aquatics was a great decision. My son improved immensely in his first lesson which also boosted his confidence. I send a special shout-out to his instructor Alex who is awesome at keeping my very energetic and talkative child focused and on task (not an easy task - he's 8). Not only had he helped my son correct the bad habits he was taught, he has taught him freestyle, breast stroke, backstroke, and working on the butterfly.

We have had our son in swimming lessons on and off for 1.5 years at other places with no luck. Today, day one of our lessons at Waterworks, and not only did Alex get him to put his face in but he had him go completely under the water numerous times! The best part was he enjoyed it too! We are so thankful to have found Waterworks and are so grateful for Alex and how well he worked with our son today!! And a huge plus, the office staff, especially Tavia is incredible! Kind and knowledgeable and the space is very clean and family/kiddo friendly. We can't wait to keep swimming here!

Waterworks has been great for my 4 and a 1/2 year old daughter! She has made so much progress in such a short time. The office staff has been great to work with and the instructors really know how to build confidence in their swimmers. Mr. Kyle has also been wonderful for my daughter. Each instructor takes time to tell the parents after the lesson about what they worked on, what went well, and what they will work on for next time. Another plus is that if you need to cancel a lesson, they will let you reschedule! We were at another swim lesson place, and make-ups were not possible, which then it was like throwing money down the drain...or swimming pool...Anyway, Waterworks has been exceptional in teaching my daughter life skills for swimming and creating a love for being in the water!

Save yourself the hassle and frustration and don't sign your child up for swim lessons here. I tried to sign my 2 sons up for swim lessons multiple times by calling and they have a bunch of young teens that answer and then hang up on you. They have a call center so you get diff ppl answering every time. Also one kid quoted me one price and then another...a diff price. I asked to speak to a manager where i was placed on hold for 20+mins before I finally was able to speak with one. He was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do. He didn't know why ppl were giving out diff prices. The gist of the convo was that he was embarrassed by the employees and the way things were handled. I have also spoken to multiple ppl since then who have cautioned me against this school due to the fact that their communication is terrible. Another reviewer mentioned that the swim instructors cancel last min all the time too. I experienced this flaky communication first hand before we even began lessons...which now I see as a good thing! I would hate to have been locked into a swim package with this place when it is so poorly run

Warm water and excellent le$$on$, but a hassle if you want to drop in and play with your kids. If you're into competitive swimming, this is your place!

We are so pleased with the excellent teachers at Waterworks. The classes are expensive, no doubt, but they are a better value than we have experienced at other local swim schools. My kids learned to swim quickly at Waterworks.

After years of wasted time and money with the competition my granddaughter can actually swim 25 yards by herself! There is literally nothing negative to say its so worth the extra money we spend because she loves it and its warm. The little pool b4 or after lessons is amazing and the tropical air is a nice win compared to her freezing everywhere else. Highly recommend we do the semi private lessons 1x a week. Stellar teachers and facility plus they offer competition i think every few months. The way they teach them is unmatched. They do need some help with some staff. I encourage WaterWorks to hire older experienced people to run the front. The sign up process to keep your child w/ the same teacher is frustrating. It should not be this hard. Still would not go anywhere else.

First private lessons was amazing. We got to choose our teacher which doesn't happen anywhere else. One on one is fantastic and by the end of the first lesson my five year old was moving a small distance through the water unassisted. The bathing suit dryers are amazing. Where were these when I was growing up? They have a unisex bathroom/locker room which means both mom and dad can wrangle the kids together. The parent and me (with my one-year old) was great and really pushed the kids and parents to try new skills. Plan on going back all summer!
