Been going here for several years, zero complaints. They'll have the occasional broken machine, like any gym would, but it's usually fixed in a few days. Cleaned regularly. No issues with the app. Great variety of equipment. Arsen has done a fantastic job upgrading and refreshing the equipment over the years. Other patrons are respectful.

Love this gym after only about 2 months. The machines and equipment are very unique and modern and some of them I haven't seen in 5 years since I was at a large campus rec gym. You can tell Arsen cares about his craft and I'm excited to see the drop on location 5!

I recently joined Arsen's gym and have to say this place is awesome. If your looking for a gym I would highly recommend joining here. There is a lot of equipment/machines, dumbells go up to 150 pounds, plenty of benches, squat racks, deadlift platforms...etc. it is very clean and has a great training atmosphere. The owner is a real nice guy as well.

The managerial staff is super dismissive of valid safety concerns. They have yet to fix/upgrade equipment that NEEDS it, but continue to add or upgrade machines that aren’t even broken. I actually cancelled my membership due to these concerns, but was told that the machines I was worried about were on their way to being fixed/upgraded, and so I repaid and rejoined. Since then, no changes have been made and when I asked about them, I was brushed off rudely and none of my concerns were addressed. Super unprofessional. Before opening new gyms, I would address the issues in your pre-existing ones.

Been going here for a year now and it's been awesome. They have some specialty equipment that you don't find at many places. The atmosphere is great for new and experienced gym goers. Arsen is very kind and gets to know his members. I'm rehabbing from surgery and this place has helped me tremendously. Not leaving anytime soon.

After a long layoff from Covid and injury, I had to find a new gym that fit my schedule. This gym does. Owner is great to talk to about issues, in the time I’ve been there (august 21). He has upgraded equipment, has been trying to find a reliable cleaning company and making location better. Only thing that I don’t like , but to no fault of the owner is the wannabe YouTuber fitness kids getting in my way, I will be renewing in august when year is up. Oh yeah you can pay upfront with no issues. P.s. owner reached out and took care of any real gym issues I.e. billing, charges etc with the quickness even on holidays( only two issues happened no fault of his )

Was given a week pass here by the owner after a tour through the gym and after coming to try everything out I gotta say nothing compares.

Insane variety in equipment for every muscle group, the cable attachments are amazing. Music choice is really good, if I forgot my headphones it honestly wouldn’t even be that big of a deal. Arsen definitely put a lot of thought into making the gym and showed me a lot of his plans to improve it which was super cool

Not very crowded either which was the main reason I came here, coming in was a little intimidating because you can tell these people take it very seriously but at the same time it’s very motivating.

Definitely a no BS gym, these people know what they’re doing and i’m hoping to learn a lot here and take my strength training a lot more serious

Disclaimer. This review reflects my experience from May 2021 through September 2021 when I canceled and stopped going. Your experience may vary. I am aware equipment in the facility has changed but it is not what I paid for and used with my dues.

TLDR: DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. This is a $10/month gym at best, and that is being very generous. Dirty, cheap equipment, UNSAFE

The good:
Facility is not staffed meaning it is open during the holidays. The cancellation policy is very generous and the main reason I decided to try out the gym. You have to pay for half your remaining dues (i.e. if you have 6 months left, you pay for 3 up front) and you still get to use the facility during that period.
Location: Building is in an accessible spot and my commute to get there has not been any issue.

The bad:
The equipment may have been brand new back in April, but it is extremely cheap and poorly built. In other reviews, the owner responds claiming this is a “learning experience” for him, but he has a location in orange with authentic brand name equipment. Owner is soon opening another location in Stratford, likely with the same junky equipment and poor customer service..
After just a few months, there were cables snapping (at one point a cable was fraying and someone just covered the frayed portion with black electrical tape to hide it), assorted hardware all over the floor. Metal was bent or deformed. The “commercial grade” squat racks are made out of very thin gauge mild steel and you can see the deformation in my photos. Squat racks are short. Benches are uncomfortable.

Many plate loaded machines require the use of clips to keep the plates on the horn pins on at least one side of the machine. If this clip was not used, the plate would work itself off.This is inexcusable. If the owner wants to keep claiming that his equipment is not shoddy and cheap, then I implore him to show me proof. Quality equipment comes with markings of the manufacturer, a serial number, and text written in proper english. As far as I know, “BAMAGED” is not a real word (see photo). My reason for cancellation was not feeling safe in this gym using this equipment. When I called to cancel I told the owner this and that I did not see the equipment getting any better. The owner actually said during that call “yeah I know what you mean”. Admitting fault to being a cheapskate, nice.

Lots of variety, but that doesn’t mean much when it all performs poorly. The cardio equipment is laughable.

The overall facility.
VERY DIRTY! Often the toilet in the men’s bathroom would be clogged. No one is there to clean it up typically so it would be like that for a while. Floors are very dirty, trash cans are always overflowing when I am there at 5am. Robotic vacuums as a cleaning crew (doesn’t work).
No air conditioning in the summer, no heat now in winter (53°F last I went in there).. For a while now there has also been no hot water, and I don’t mean for just a day or two, this has been an issue for WEEKS

Entertainment.
At first there were speakers wired up in the ceilings and walls. Those broke. Owner then just replaced them with two gigantic DJ style speakers placed in two locations of the facility. He has these things cranked up extremely loud. Cannot use equipment near speakers due to the speaker volume.

There are TV’s located all around the facility. They do not play sports or the news like at a typical gym. They all play videos of youtube fitness personalities, occasionally some “Pumping Iron” (awesome), or more often than anything else there will just be random videos of exotic cars. The owner tries to use this “lifestyle” of exotic cars as motivation in the gym to make one workout harder. It is absolutely hysterical.

DO NOT JOIN. The owner is running a good scam on people right now charging what he does for what he is providing. Everyone I joined this gym with back in May has canceled or is canceling their membership. Not a single member I have talked to likes the facility nor will be renewing when the time comes.

Cool atmosphere, but the equipment is cheap and clunky/not very smooth. Racks use a low gauge steel which is okay for most people tbh, but wouldn't recommend lifting heavy here. The knurling on the bars is super smooth with no grip, my hands were slipping on the bar during bench pressing which isn't ideal. If your looking for an atmosphere and doing more light- moderate weight bodybuilding style workouts, this place will probably be fine for you.

How refreshing, a gym where weights get racked & people are actually working out. The environment is motivating and all of the equipment is brand new. The variety of equipment is also impressive, there's many things at Arsen's gym I've never seen anywhere else. I also appreciate Arsen's welcoming demeanour and the way he operates his business. Highly recommend to anyone that may have felt in a rut at their current gym!
