Bells Pilates is a boutique training facility, located at the Sportsplex in Fairfield, CT. The nearly 800 square foot studio, is a sanctuary for fitness enthusiasts looking for a unique training experience. At Bells Pilates, the focus is on delivering results centered one-on-one and two-on-one Pilates training. The owner, Janelle Biggs, trains clients by integrating her more than 15 years of Pilates training, along with her background as a professional Modern Dancer. She is able to enhance the health and well-being of clients by improving balance, flexibility, core strength, and core stability. At Bells Pilates, fitness is a journey, where training regimens evolve in tandem with the evolution of each and every client.

Janelle is a true professional! I have worked with her for over 12 years . She has a nice studio in the Fairfield sportsplex with great equipment to keep you in shape. I love all the pilates workouts that she creates for me. I highly recommend Janelle if you want someone who will listen to your body concerns . She will find a way to help you meet your exercise goals .

Janelle provides one on one personalized Pilates instruction that keeps me mobile, strong and pain free. Iβm not disciplined enough to go to the gym but every time I see Janelle my body feels better afterwards. Every session is different but the focus is on strengthening the core, body alignment and stretching.

Janelle has been a life saver for me. I've been working with her for 10 years and each time I have an issue....and they do change... she has helped me work though it. I am so much stronger now than I was ten years ago and I feel my body is aligned and stronger than ever. Janelle is exceptional in many ways. She approaches her clients with great knowledge and creativity, she is focused and professional and, she CARES deeply about her work and those she works with. We have been colleagues for many years and I recommend her with great enthusiasm. I have also had the benefit of being her client, most recently taking her Zoom classes. I feel stronger, more connected to my body, and happier, every time I work with her!!

I have worked with Janelle for almost 15 years and she has seen me through 2 hip replacements. More importantly, she kept me functional and as strong and pain free as possible while I was convinced I didn't NEED replacements! Her gentle persuasion to face facts, along with my growing frustration, finally did it.
After my initial rehab, I turned myself over to Janelle who continued the rehab and helped put me back together. Rehab was quick and easy as Janelle already had me in good shape.
After all these years, Im still impressed with her knowledge of how the body works, her gentle focus on any issues I'm having, and I trust her with any stretches she initiates that I'd never try myself!

I've been working with Janelle for about 11 years. I started with her because I wanted to work on flexibility and staying as limber as possible as I aged. I'm 61 years old and I'm taller than I thought I was!βmy posture has really improved and I feel like I'm still strong and able to lead a very physically active life. The added bonus is that Janelle is such a lovely, warm person and truly dedicated to the wellbeing of her clients. I can't imagine life without her!!

I started with Janelle at Bells Pilates almost 2 years ago, when I was referred to her by my physical therapist, Dr. Katey Dell Goldberger at PT Plus. Besides increasing my overall strength, Janelle has been working with me to increase my core strength and help me to reduce chronic pain from sciatica and a few other related issues. I would give Janelle 10 stars if I could. Her level of knowledge combined with her ability to keep every session fresh and her empathy and understanding of my goals is truly amazing. Each session builds from previous weeks but also incorporates exercises that will help whatever my body has going on that week. When I am done with each session, I find new motivation to work harder at my goals. I cannot imagine where I would be right now if it werenβt for Janelleβs steady guidance and genuine commitment to her profession.

As an orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapist, I can be a pretty tough critic of trainers and what they may or may not be offering. I have been with Janelle for several years now and love the fact that when I walk in to her studio my brain is off! I know I can trust her skilled eye and creative mind to tackle whatever challenges my aching, aging body is throwing at me for the day. Janelle is a highly qualified Pilates instructor that you are going to wish you had found sooner!

I went to Janelle with lower back pain. During my first session I realized how knowledgeable she is about the body. She has taught me how to strengthen my supporting muscles and to have better posture. I have exercised my whole life, but I am confident that I will have a healthier and stronger body because of what I am continuing to learn from Janelle.

I have been attending Bells Pilates for at least eight years. I went originally to strengthen my core and learn but then I needed a hip replacement. Janelle helped me prepare for my surgery and then post surgery she totally helped me get back to my self. I couldn't have done it with her!!
