We have been part of this karate school for the past two years, and it has been absolutely wonderful! When our son was having trouble with confidence at school, his time in class at Charland really helped to build him back up. The instructors are incredible and always meet him where he is, helping him learn at his own pace and succeed. They create such a supportive and encouraging environment, and it truly feels like they care about every student’s growth. They also often have fun events outside of class and even parents night out which is basically babysitting at a very low cost a couple times a year. We couldn’t be happier with our experience here and highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a place that not only teaches karate, but also builds character and confidence.

This is the Training I have been missing in my life. I took martial arts for a few years when I was in my youth, but have fallen out of shape. I wanted to take my kids to a good martial arts school and after trying a few, this is the one we have settled on for our family. My kids Love the school and instructors and have been keeping active, becoming healthier, learning discipline, and better overall health. For me personally, I have lost ~20lbs in just a few months from committing myself. The prices are very reasonable and you will be learning from many high quality instructors.

I found the Charland Institute in 2021 for my twin girls. I love the atmosphere and the teachings so much I myself joined. They help your children grow in discipline and confidence. Well worth every dime. You are never too old to start.

My kid attends Karate lessons here, beyond this keeping her physically active it also teaches her self discipline and allows her to interact with a diverse group of children that she might otherwise not have met.
