Recently went for the first time in a while, and yes the locker room smells like piss, I encountered exposed wires, and a few leaks in the ceiling to top it all off. Despite, I throughly enjoyed my experience. 24/7 hours is a good concept and the cardio cinema is cool

Joined about a month ago and though lately not been there regular due to life taking over, I wanted to drop a review acknowledging the staff. By name, I only know Jack as he helped me sign up. But it's just such a professional group of people who manage that place. Very pleasant and respectful. I appreciate it. I love the movies option and mainly that keeps me motivated to go there. Lol!
Two updates after using this clin for just over a month.
1. Staff continues to be excellent but a vast majority of customers do NOT wipe down machines after use. Thus, my recommendation is to clean everything before any use as well. 2. I try not to visit after hours as guys just do not follow rules of swiping their card to enter. On Labor Day, I forgot that it was off hours after 11 am, and 2 guys walked behind me just as I scanned my card and entered. Given the crimes in this country, there's no way that I'm going to interact with them and tell them to stay out and retry their card. So my suggestion, for women or anyone living by the rulebook, preferably use it during staffed hours.

The gym itself and the staff aren’t bad but the only issue is their cancellation fee policy. Once you cancel your membership they make you pay for whatever reason for the next 30 days and for me, within those 30 days AFTER I cancelled my membership also fell my yearly membership fee and I was forced to pay for that as well. I proceeded with paying for what was due to avoid any trouble but I really do believe that once a member cancels their membership they should be left alone without being locked into having to pay more. The only response I was left with was unfortunately that was just unfortunate timing with the yearly fee coming around but again, that shouldn’t have been an issue if their system didn’t lock the customers into having to pay for another 30 days. With this, they make it almost impossible to cancel your membership and proceed to charge you with fees even after you make it clear you don’t want to be a part of their system anymore. In order to avoid all this unnecessary and eventually expensive charges (after having to pay for a whole new membership even after I cancelled), I would just recommend not getting roped into their system to begin with.

Going to be honest in this review:

I think 3 stars is HIGH for club 24 but when you sign up for a membership here you shouldn’t expect much. Club 24 is that gym you go to because it’s close, easy, and cheap. Not because it’s good.

Firstly, my LARGEST gripe with them: sales. All they do is push sales. I have the highest tier membership and yet I still get calls multiple times per week to sign up for a membership. I also bring my girlfriend as a guest often and every single time she comes they try to talk her into a membership. I got the high tier membership to have guest privileges and not for my gf to be sold to everyday. Not blaming the workers… this is always how Club 24 has operated.

Secondly, WiFi… Look I come to the gym to get my workout in and get out. Not a big deal that there’s not enough service or WiFi to scroll use the internet. BUT it becomes dangerous when there’s so little workable service that I can’t even send a text most of the time. That’s unacceptable in my opinion.

Lastly, and this one comes as no surprise. The bathrooms are non-functioning half of the time (urinals) and the equipment is okay. To be fair it looks like they’ve been trying to add a bit as of late.

Just know what you’re doing when you sign up at Club 24. It’s not a “good” gym. It’s a gym. And that’s it.

I love coming here. Donnie, the manager, is super personable, extremely helpful, and puts a lot of effort making sure the gym is an enjoyable experience for everyone. Massage chairs are FANTASTIC and the vending machine has delicious locally made protein cookies (400 calories and 38g of protein…they’re also HUGE).

I just read the five star reviews on this gym and i think these people Delusional. the Truth is You get what your pay for Poor Customer service and Dirty broken equipment. Good luck with trying to get a manger over the phone. the response from email seem auto- generated. If your shopping to joining a gym I would skip this one and pay the extra money to join Plant fitness is a good choice! At less PF cares more about their equipment and customer service.

Just got hit with a collections notice from this gym despite being told by the staff my account was being cancelled 6 months ago. Really sucks because I liked the staff and the gym was adequate, but despite being told my membership was cancelled and fees were waived (since I moved away) I've now been left out to dry with no warning or any communication at all. I'd definetly warn future customers to watch out for the big hidden fees lurking behind the seemingly cheap membership. Even if you end up moving like me, you may be forced to pay them anyways, and the staff wont tell you otherwise.

I've been a member of this gym for more than 10 years. It went through a rough period a few years ago but has bounced back with Donnie, the new manager, at the helm. The gym is very clean, has new equipment, and the staff has a good, helpful attitude. I also HIGHLY recommend Anthony, the trainer. He listens to your goals and carefully builds a personalized training program to help you get stronger and healthier in a steady and safe way. One of the best trainers I've ever met.

Bathroom and the general gym needs a cleaning. The vents / hvac duct work looks very furry. Often paper towels and water bottles are left lying around.

The gym for less than 10 dollars per month is great. Just needs a second cable cross over machine. Other wise it has plenty of equipment and usually is not very busy . I can’t speak of afternoon or nights .

First of all I had never opened an account with this gym let alone this gym existed. I receive a bill in the mail stating I owe $193.32. How can I owe a gym that I never even knew existed and they automatically sent me to a collection agency called Aldous & Associates, Mind you I am 17 years old so I have my father call and they tell us they cannot dispute this charge until I prove that I am a minor because in the system I am above the age. Me and my father filed a police report and tell the gym respectfully if they can dispute all charges and tell us who opened this account with all my information and they refused to give us that information, how can you deny giving the person who opened this account under all my information. They had my full name, address, email, phone number, but my date of birth was incorrect. Respectfully do not open any accounts with these people and if this happens to anyone else please reach out to me under this email. If we also do not get these charges dropped and get this account closed we will be proceeding with legal actions. Have a great day to whomever reads this review.

Dan, the manager, , has been extremely helpful from the first time we spoke. . I met him yesterday in person, but we have had spoken over the phone in three in separate occasions. He has been always very helpful and ‘Courteous’. In resolving any issue I have encountered…Super passing my expectations.

He sent me an email a few days ago, in regard to taking advantage of a free personal training session that The Club 24, offers to each new member… Wish I never thought it was necessary, but I took advantage of it. And to my surprised, I learned a few different exercises that will help improve my situation with my troubled knee.

Joe was my personal trainer yesterday, Wow, he dedicated with so much enthusiasm” ; and with an awesome disposition. He dedicated his precious and valuable time with me!! I will truly recommend to all of my friends and family members, his great expertise!

I am appreciative of his time, effort, knowledge, kindness,… that this young man, shared with me!! I was impressed on how professional he was, and how knowledgeable Joe expressed. He is a blessing to this organization. I fell blessed. He knows how to make feel valued!

Im there every day to work out

1. Theres lots of free weights in contrast to machines, which makes this gym better in my opinion than other gyms. If you prefer free weights, which are too bulky for at home, you are better here than other gyms.

2. There are tons of treadmills, so you dont have to wait for one

3. There is a recovery zone with zero gravity 3D massage chairs, if your back hurts after work

I just want to start by saying. What a disgrace this establishment is to any other gym trying to make a name for itself. WATCH OUT don't be fooled by the Christmas special, because these guys are the opposite of holiday cheer. Do you want to be sent to collections for a random bill AFTER your account was closed, then this is the place for you. My client has been extremely upset by this institution during the holiday season and we will be seeking action. 1 Star is far too much for these guys. If I could give this place a -10 I would! The district manager is so disrespectful and rude to customers and his staff that I am feel sorry for the current members and staff working there. I was using one of the hip abductor machines located near the bathrooms and he was screaming to one of the staff members there - it was so uncomfortable and awkward and even though he saw me he continued to scream and come close to the other staff member that I thought he was going to hit him - the staff member looked so scare and I thought it was so unprofessional to do that in front of a gym member and he never ever approached me to say oh I’m sorry you had to see that nor did he chose to bring the argument to close doors…. I decided to canceled my membership after a few other incidents I saw there and the lack of good customer service from the district manager and some staff member. I had the misfortune to deal with the district manager over the phone after my gym membership was canceled due to a miscommunication over certain gym policies and he was so rude and aggravated over the phone that I am glad I am no longer a member. This guy has such an alter ego and he is using his current position to mentally and emotionally abusing customers members as well as the staff.

Gym was absolutely amazing a year ago, all the staff was excellent and treated me everyone with the highest level of respect, and then a new GM came into the building, never met the man before but he was absolutely ENRAGED that me and my friend were in a studio room after our workout while everyone else was doing the same thing. I wish I could give this place a 0. They are not clean, they are not doing anything to protect against Covid-19. There is only one machine to get paper-towels and majority of the time it's empty or broken. Nobody in here wears masks, despite the town ordinance requiring them. No one cleans up after themselves (not even the trainers!!!!). It's just not clean. I understand "you get what you paid for" but after you watch a few people come off a machine dripping in sweat and just walk away and the employees do nothing, your disgusted and just want to walk out.

In response to your below - read the countless other posts regarding the disgustingness of this gym (not the ones that you had your employees write). Regarding the staff, I personally watched not one but two trainers NOT clean up after working with their clients and your "front desk manager" sit watching a video on their phone while multiple people walked off without cleaning their equipment. Per current town ordinance masks are required inside and not a single one of your employees is following that policy.

This gym is actually terrible - exposed wires hanging from the ceiling, constant overflows from the toilets, and the employees are incompetent. The staggering number of 5 star reviews are from employees, as it is on their list of daily tasks to leave some.

The gym is fine but the company treats their cancelling members like garbage. After cancelling due to COVID they called and threatened to send me to collections if I didn't renew for 6 more months (why would I do that if I was cancelling due to COVID?). I then paid the balance in full including an extra month and then they sent me to collections anyway. Worst customer experience I have ever had. Avoid at all costs.
