Awful customer service. Totally mislead with membership and to try to cancel is almost impossible. The issue I experienced though was after my pre paid membership ended, there was a lack of communication/understanding between the gym and billing department. They tried to put me in another contract without my authorization. I did not have an auto renewal with my old contract either. I dont normally leave reviews but Ive never disliked a place so heavily. The gym is nosy with an ignorant staff, they are always trying to upcharge and sell me something i dont need. Charging my account even after the manager said it would be canceled after one month. Sweaty gym where nobody cleans off their equipment and an oder that is so bad but could be changed if it where a bit more clean. My least favorite gym Ive gone to. The staff teases updates to the gym that never happen, as an example a staff member went around saying the gym would be expanded as well as the locker room being redone. I dont know id they just lie to keep you coming or if this is a multiple year long proccess but everything about them annoys me. I locked my belongings into a locker with the key inside and a staff member actually broke their way into the locker then the manager told me I would have to pay for damages. I hate everything about the workers and gym and I honestly am praying this gym gets shut down soon.

Jessica is a fabulous Zumba teacher and would give the club five stars for that alone, but unfortunately Mondays and Tuesdays are canceled almost every week due to not having an instructor so you can’t count on class and they don’t post the cancellation until a 1/2hr or less when I’m normally on the road there already. Switched to the gym specifically for the classes and times. So disappointed giving it another month. Also need to expand or take less new memberships because hard to get equipment be it tread mill or strength training anytime from 4:30 to 7.

It has been 8 months since I last worked out at this gym. Worked out today and I can see nothing has changed or improved. Today they were out of paper towels. I do not know who manages this place but they are not very good at their job. This is not the first, second, third or 100th time they have run out of supplies. This gym has always been a great experience for me. I started here when I was in high school and was insecure about the way I looked. But after being a member for 8 years now I have made the change I wanted to always see. The staff is always really friendly and helpful especially the manager Mike!This gyms always adding new equipment so I am always able to switch my workout up. The best part is the recovery options they offer like the hydro massage bed and the shakes (Java jolt is the best!). Sophia makes the best ones! Highly recommend to a friend

I've been going to club 24 for about a year. When I first started, there was so much more space until the nail salon next door took it over and made the gym smaller. I look forward to using the massage beds after my workouts , especially on the weekends when I have more time to kill, however, one of the beds is always not working and it is frustrating. If you're not a member of this gym you should be. I can't imagine going elsewhere. We've been members for several years now and plan to be so forever. The price is super competitive, and the place is managed perfectly. Top quality equipment and better yet every machine is always up and running. If something does break it's repaired or replaced promptly. We are morning people and absolutely love the group that we work with daily.
JT at the front desk is ultra professional and also has a great sense of humor. He stays on top of daily maintenance like paper towels and sanitizer and any other concerns you may have. None of us want for anything when we're there.
A mirror image in regard to work ethic and demeanor is Jake who we see if we show up later in the morning. Same as above with JT, the towels etc. are always available and if there's a question or problem it's handled immediately and competently.
I can't comment on the staff that works the desk in the afternoon or evening but considering that this gym ALWAYS runs perfectly I'm sure they are also very competent.
Bravo and kudos to all the staff and management at Club24.

The gym itself is decent although small and lacking some equipment. They have been adding new equipment recently which is why I’ve kept my membership. Unfortunately the bathrooms are disgusting, and has been this way for months. The moment upon entering the locker room, the aroma of mold hits your nostrils. The mold smell likely is coming from the water stained carpet which has been this way for at least 3 months now. Management is receptive to complaints, but the owners aren’t taking any action. I’d be surprised if anyone joined for New Years after touring the bathroom.

If you don't sign up, they will spam call you into oblivion. I blocked all their personal numbers but the automated one never stops. Not only that. If you show up as a guest, the sign in process requires a form signature, info update and they take your ID card. You have to do this every single time. I especially have to thank Chris Chamberlain who is by far the BEST trainer out there! His passion and commitment to pushing his clients is like no other and anytime you have a question for him about a workout whether big or small, he'll always have an answer and if he doesn't, he'll look into it. Training- I switched from a tiny gym in my hometown in order to get more serious about my fitness. I started training with Chris. Not only did he teach me correct form, techniques, and the mechanisms about fitness but he is always very supportive, encouraging, patient, and willing to help. I have seen so much progress in myself not only physically but mentally and I can’t be more thankful. I recommend him to everyone who asks!

This gym is honestly one of the best bang for buck gyms you’ll find anywhere. The environment is friendly and welcoming especially to newcomers. All of the staff are friendly and the trainers are amazing. Chris is an awesome trainer and is super knowledgeable on just about everything. He will not only hold you accountable but help push you to reach your goals whether that’s a good physique, better health, or getting stronger. I highly recommend everyone check it out

Starting personal training is one of the best decisions I have made for myself! I’m currently doing personal training sessions with Chris and he’s an amazing personal trainer. He’s knowledgeable, energetic and personable. I have seen amazing results with him as my personal trainer and he always keeps me motivated! I’ve been a member of Club 24 since 2006.What I’ve always liked is the friendly atmosphere and convenience of locations. In August of 2022 I began my journey to reclaiming my health by returning to regular workouts at the Club 24 location in Wallingford. The gym manager Mike has been very supportive along with his team of trainers that I’ve worked with Christian, Vanessa and Rachel. The resent upgrades to the facility and equipment are an amazing refresher, the gym has now his a hip urban vibe, I’ve definitely recommended your facility to friends and colleagues.
