I started at Countdown Fitness in Greenwich about 6 months ago And l love training with Ella! She’s so sweet but knows exactly how to push me to get stronger every week. Fantastic workout every week! Sarah tailors the workouts to keep your body challenged week after week. She pushes you and encourages you through all of it. I’m healthier and more toned than I’ve ever been. Absolutely recommend Countdown and Sarah.

I have been going to Countdown for two years. Anel is an innovative trainer who has a remarkable program that works you out to failure over a 30 minute period once a week. He also understands the specific needs and weakness of each client in terms of their injuries and occupation. He is also very amusing and completely genuine. Can't recommend him highly enough. 6 stars.

Can't say enough wonderful things about Countdown Fitness and Sarah! After trying many different workouts, this is the only one I've ever stuck to. Sarah’s encouragement and confidence in me has not only transformed my fitness level but incredibly has eliminated what was a debilitating back pain. Love it!!

I had been seeing information on Countdown Fitness on social media for a while and I finally decided to give it a try in January. I met with Carolyn, and we went over my goals, the biggest being fixing my posture and relief from lower back pain. With Carolyn, I've accomplished that and so much more! I feel stronger, happier and healthier. She keeps me motivated and provides a challenging workout and best of all she does it all in 30 minutes! I highly recommend Carolyn!

I love Countdown Fitness. They were able to tailor a golf specific workout regime for me that has paid dividends. In particular Carolyn has been fantastic (she is my regular trainer but I am sure the others great too). I have been inproving strength and am hooked!

Once in a while, you find a mentor, coach, or trainer that can push you to a level you have never achieved. Anel is that person! Having never pushed my exercise or mental toughness to exhaustion, I could not believe it was possible. Anel has the knowledge and ability to make me go past the point where I never thought I could.
I am in better shape now than 25 years ago. This is only after 8 months! I can hardly wait for the next 8. It’s the best 30 minutes of my week! I encourage you to give it 10 weeks. You will be amazed at your progress and where your health will go.

If anyone out there is looking for an amazing place to workout, Countdown Fitness is it!!! Anel, Paige and Sarah are such amazing trainers!! The workouts are a challenge but very effective and only 30 minutes per week. Paige is so great to work with and encourages me to push myself. Countdown Fitness has changed my life! It’s a 30 minute weekly personal training workout and the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’ve lost weight, gotten so much stronger, become a better tennis player and most importantly haven’t had one injury since I started a year ago. Anel is so much fun but pushes me hard and is a true expert in all things fitness. Run don’t walk to countdown - but know you’ll be wobbling out the door after :)

I love my weekly workout sessions with Sarah at Countdown Fitness. I started in February of 2021 and have consistently attended every week. The sessions are easy to fit in my schedule and I feel as though we get a lot done in the 30 minutes. The space itself is great; top of the line equipment and it is always very clean. I enjoy working out with Sarah specifically because she is nonjudgemental and motivating. I like that they track my weight/time on the iPad for each workout so we can compare performance over time. Highly recommend!

I am a working professional and mom and my time is limited. Anel and his team get it done quick and dirty. His workout has transformed my body. I get compliments on my muscle tone all the time. I have done pilates and yoga and other cardio workouts but this is like no other. Not only is the workout amazing but Anel and Sarah are soo sweet. You feel like you are going to see a good friend 😌

I’ve been working out once a week for a half hour with Anel for over a year and feel stronger at 50 than ever. I just returned from a ski trip out west and hiked some serious powder runs, skied the bumps with my teenage boys and woke up ready each morning for more! I thanked Countdown Fitness each run knowing it was hardcore workouts that got me there.

Training at Countdown Fitness is a truly unique experience, and I’m so glad I found it. The studio (which is incidentally the most beautiful space in which I’ve ever exercised), is spacious and well appointed. It recently underwent a renovation and even when there’s more than one training session occurring at a time (there’s never more than two), it doesn’t feel crowded. The workouts are challenging but enjoyable, and they change every time which prevents the workout from feeling stale. Anel really pushes me during our time together, and encourages me to push myself to get better every week. 30 minutes later, I leave feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the day.
I love the difference in the way I feel after only six months. I can’t wait to see what the next six months (and beyond) bring!

I worked out with Anel September 2018 - March 2019. He got me in the best shape I had been in since being an athlete in high school and college! I got my strength and confidence back, while also overcoming tendinitis in my back left knee. The best part was how much fun it always was! He challenged me for sure but I always had a great time. I moved to Brooklyn but I miss Countdown so much!

I have been a avid runner most of my life and a athlete. I thought I was in decent shape until I started training at Countdown Fitness. The program that Anel has me on has helped me to drop 5 min off my 1/2 marathon time, I’ve added more muscle & feel healthier than I have in years. My posture is better and I have less injuries. I recommend Countdown Fitness to everyone and to all fitness levels. They tailor make programs to work for each persons needs.

Anel is amazingly talented. When I started training with him less than a year ago, I was suffering from a very compromised lower back and neck. I was considering surgery. In only an hour a week, Anel has been able to strengthen my core and entire body, thus stabilizing my back and neck. I feel strong and energized. The studio is also really nice and a pleasure to go to!

Wow--what a workout! I initially went for an consultation and sample workout because I had hit an exercise rut toward the end of the summer. I had tried a number of different workouts (Kayla Itsines BBG program, PureBarre, cardio classes, spin classes, etc.) but hadn't found any program that made me look forward to my next workout session. The thought of a 30-minute, once-a-week workout that would help build my strength was appealing, as strength training is something that had always intimidated me at a bigger gym. Working with Anel for the past 3 months has been transformative not only for my body, but also my confidence. I'll admit that there's usually a moment each session when I want to give up, but Anel is always professional, patient and unfailingly positive. He believes in me, which in turn makes me believe in myself and push through the final rep. (The Greenwich Avenue space is absolutely gorgeous, with soft lighting, candles, plants, artwork and immaculate equipment.) It's the hardest workout program I've ever attempted, but I'm starting to see results and feel like I can accomplish anything at the end of each session.

I was struggling to find a workout that was both effective, and fit into my busy schedule as a working mom. Anel gave me exactly that— I started seeing visible results in my arms and abs (two of my target areas) after about 6 weeks of one 30-minute workout a week. Every week I looked forward to my workout because he would push me to work to failure, which is really what changes your muscle. He was so encouraging and supportive that it made me WANT to be there every week, which can sometimes be a challenge! Highly recommend Anel to anyone with specific fitness goals who has time and schedule constraints.

Very good program. I wish that you could see the results of each visit. I did this program for 12 weeks but was never sure I was getting stronger as I did not see any results. Therefore, I don’t know how much stronger I got. Instructor was excellent.

I think Anel is the best trainer I could have found!. He has the talent to ensure each training session packs a punch - he works you hard and explains the science and logic behind the exercises. I saw fairly immediate results. He is very enthusiastic and pushes you to challenge your limits. Lastly, it's always a fun class.

Excellent, high impact personal training. In 5 months, I've lost weight, gained a ton of muscle, and improved my posture drastically. It's amazing to me that Countdown's process yields such noticeable results in half an hour per week (truly!), but since I am a working mother of three small kids (ages 5, 2 , 7 months, eek!), I figured it was worth trying. If you are short on time, but really want to get your body back, I highly recommend working with Madison or Anel at Countdown. Not sure what they recommend, but I'd suggest committing for 6 weeks - at the very least it will jumpstart your fitness routine and help you add muscle / lose fat quickly.

Countdown is by far the best training in the area. If you want to see quick changes without spending a ton of time at the gym, you need to work with Anel and Madison. Their 30 minutes, 1x a week sessions work so well with my busy schedule, and I somehow always manage to have fun while I am being pushed outside of my comfort zone. Couldn't recommend these guys more highly.
