I’ve been training with Anel at Countdown Fitness for over a year, and the results have been incredible. After three years of cancer treatment and a stroke, I never imagined I’d feel this strong, balanced and energized again. The 30 minute workouts are highly personalized and so satisfyingly effective—I notice progress week to week. They're exceptional at reading your limits and pushing just the right amount. And I have no excuse not to find a half hour a week!

I’ve been training with Sarah for the past 9 months, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made. She strikes the perfect balance between being encouraging and pushing me past my limits in the best way. Every session is challenging, but I always leave feeling stronger and more capable.

One of the biggest changes I’ve noticed is how much better my knees feel. I came in with ongoing knee issues, and thanks to Sarah’s careful programming and attention to form, I’ve built up strength and stability without aggravating them.

I have been working with Sarah at Countdown Fitness for close to 11 months! Sarah is always encouraging and really emphasizes proper form. It's definitely a tough 30 minutes of strength-training using very heavy weights and for longer time increments than I would ever do on my own (I would quit so much sooner, ha!). Although I love the strength I have built, I've been pleasantly surprised that I've also gained more flexibility and improved my posture. Definitely would recommend trying it out with Sarah!

As an exercise enthusiast who hates taking any days off; I have always considered myself to be athletic, strong, and somewhat fit! I have also worked with many personal trainers but no one compares to Sarah or the philosophy at Countdown Fitness! My weekly session with Sarah is the hardest and most humbling yet most satisfying and result driven workout I’ve ever done. I’ve been working with Sarah for just over 1 year and she has transformed both my physical and mental strength!

Sarah knows exactly when I start doubting myself that I can’t possibly do one more rep or last for 10 more seconds and somehow she is able to push me past that point, giving me the greatest feeling of accomplishment. She is the perfect combination of encouragement, firmness, kindness, and “drill Sargent”! The results are completely worth the 30 minutes of “sweet torture”!!!

Love my Friday workouts with Rich. I don't exactly look forward to them, because they're challenging and I'm old, but I always feel great afterwards and they're only 30 minutes and afterwards I feel like I'm set for the week. Rich is great company and makes the time go very quickly.

I started working with Sarah at Countdown to Fitness about 10 months ago. In a very short period of time I noticed feeling stronger and more energetic. I also noticed a definite improvement in my posture!

Workouts are really challenging but Sarah is excellent- she kindly corrects my form, offers encouragement when needed, and sometimes is also quiet and allows me to push through and focus.

I am so grateful to get in such an incredible workout in only 30 minutes! It is always personalized, efficient and effective. Friends have remarked upon some of the changes they have noticed which is always a lovely bonus!

I have now referred two people to Sarah and the gym and they are hooked as well!

I love the experience at Countdown.

It’s a cool aesthetic gym with low lighting and good music. My trainer Sarah puts me through an extremely hard weight lifting workout while correcting my form continuously - no willpower or thought process is needed on my part. It is very private, sometimes we are the only ones there. It is so hard that initially I thought my tendons might snap or something - these weights are not something I would or could do, left to my own devices. I’ve had trainers who had me do super easy things that accomplished nothing - this is the opposite of that. This all happens in only 30 minutes which makes it very easy to fit into my week.

Results:
1) Greater overall attention to my fitness - I’ve been exercising (outside of countdown) much more since starting there

2) Back pain that I have struggled with for YEARS - is GONE. And I had tried soooo many things for this. This workout has awakened muscles that had probably been dormant for years!

3) a few months after starting I went on a beach vacation with 18 of my closest friends and received many comments on how fit I looked.

I have been working out with Countdown for over 4 months now, 1x/week. Over the past 16 sessions, I have noticed a dramatic difference in my overall strength, tone and even posture as a result of adding strength training to my routine (prior to this I had only been doing cardio). Anel and his trainers are great about talking through any injuries or areas of weakness and working to balance and correct these issues while creating goals for their clients. The cherry on top? The space is pristine, clean, and beautifully decorated, unlike many gyms in the FFC area.

While some may doubt how much can get done in 30 minutes, I can tell you that I gassed by the end of each session. Great for anyone that is tight on time but wants to maximize their training.
