If you’re not getting results and want fun and invigorating workouts with like minded people , Guilford Athletic Center is the place to go. All the classes are as challenging or enjoyable as you want them to be. While there is a prescribed workout for each day of the week, it can be tailored to meet your physical abilities to get into great shape. The coaches are great and work with the class and each of us to make sure we r doing the correct movements. If you want to have more fun workouts and get in shape for the summer, sign up now.

I can’t say enough good things about Guilford Athletic Center! This is such a welcoming space with coaches who are knowledgeable and approachable. I really enjoyed joining classes all week while I was visiting from out of town. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Guilford!

A great crossfit / fitness center for people of all abilities. Workouts are scaled or modified to match your fitness level and accommodate any special needs. The owner and coaching staff are very friendly and do a great job teaching you proper form. The other members are great too. There is a real sense of community. I am in my 60s and have been going here 3 times a week for nearly 5 years and have dramatically improved my strength and endurance.

I've been a member here for 8 + years. I'm 46 years old. The Energy and Support of the Members and Coaches is exceptional. Clint, like so many from this community, has become a close friend of mine. I love to shut my brain off and work and sweat my butt off. If I am laying on the ground at the end of the workout, I know I have won the day. It happens every time. This is a special place with special people. Highly recommended. 10 stars.
8 years ago I thought, "I should get in shape before joining GAC". Eventually the reality set in. Go, join, and get in shape there. Don't wait. The physical changes start in week 2.

Since I started going to GAC and doing crossfit a few months ago I have already started to see such big improvements in my mental health and in my physical strength. Working out has helped build my mental toughness and resilience with challenging yet rewarding and fun workouts. Physically I feel and look so much stronger and healthier. It is amazing to see the amount of progress I have made in such a short amount of time. It has really helped with my confidence and self esteem. The members and coaches are so welcoming and supportive of everyone that steps into the gym. They are always willing to give advice and help in any way they can. Overall, I have met so many genuine and kind people at GAC and I'm so grateful to have been introduced to the gym and its community that comes along with it.

Recovery Move-
Recovery Move has transformed my mental health journey in ways I never thought possible. From the supportive community to workouts that challenge me mentally and physically, every session pushes me beyond my limits and helps my get the boost of serotonin I need to start off my day and my week. The combination of functional movements, varied workouts, and supportive coaching has not only improved my physical strength and endurance but also boosted my confidence both inside and outside the gym. Everyone is at different stages of recovery, different levels of fitness, and have different reasons for showing up to class, and we still come together to lift each other up and pushed each other forward. Recovery Move isn't just a workout class; it's a community that l'm grateful to be a part of.

Clint is a WONDERFUL personal trainer. He is very knowledgeable, very professional, very helpful & most all very SUPPORTIVE! When you work out with Clint, he pushes you to have wonderful workout that will push your body, mind and soul. My boyfriend is in a wheelchair, Clint pushes him to be more healthy & enjoy working out. I had weight loss surgery in 2021, Clint has shown me more strengthening exercises, fat burning exercises & core strengthening exercises. We BOTH love working out with Clint. He is TRULY AWESOME PERSON!☺️

Coach Clint is highly experienced and knowledgeable about fitness and health. He has offered countless suggestions that have helped me adapt my workout and improve my technique for effect and safety and take care of those achy joints and muscles. I have been a member for 10-years. When I first spoke to Clint I told him about my two lower back surgeries and he said come on down. I sincerly will argue I'm in the best shape of my life at 68 year old, stronger and leaner. The workouts at GAC have strengthened my lower back. I no longer sit ideal with pain and discomfort waitng for my next Chiropractor appoinment.
This is welcoming environment for all by Clint and his team of coaches. Support and ecouragement are the first order of business. The coaches will critque your movements durning the workout to improve proper body and back support. Encouragement during the workout is provided by the coaches and all of the other members. There is no comparison between the members everyone goes at their own pace.
I have equipment at home and like most, it sits and when I do use it I get distracted. It is said we do more of a workout with our warm ups then most people do during the workout. You will gently be encourage to do more in 20-30 minutes then you thought you would be able otherwise.

Inspirational. Supportive. Fun. Transformational. I'm a 40 year old guy who started at Guilford CrossFit with Clint 3 years ago, and I've never been in better shape in my life. I recently had a minor surgery (unrelated to crossfit!) and the Nurse asked if I was an athlete based on my resting heart rate. It was about 50bpm, and I can promise you that was due to the transformational impact GCF has had on my fitness level. Highly recommended!!!

Guilford Athletic Center is amazing! The owner, Clint, is an amazing coach and he truly believes in everyone that walks through the door! I came to the gym to get in shape after quarantine, and it’s been only two months and I can see and feel myself getting stronger and back into shape. Everyone there is very welcoming and Clint really helps you accomplish your goals. A must try for everyone!

I can't see enough good things about Guilford CrossFit. My wife and I did CrossFit for the first time at the beginning of this year, prior to which I had been casually active but not working out regularly in many years. Emily has been our coach at the Move class for the last six months and has helped us both make incredible progress! We are in our best shape in years and now completing workouts we could never have imagined doing when we started. Plus, the attitude at the gym is always encouraging with just the right amount of friendly competition to stay motivated. Even the most experienced members are welcoming and will help us any time. Clint (the owner and another great coach) has supported us from the start and is always around to give us tips and cheer us on. Highly highly recommended!
