GCA of CT has been the most engaging and exciting class for my 2 year old daughter. She has excelled so much with the help of Coach Emilia and is now in a drop off class before the age of 3. GCA of CT is a wonderful place and would recommend this gymnastics facility and Coach Emilia 100x over!

I find it absolutely unbelievable how this gymnastics studio operates. My daughter has been in gymnastics since she was five, and now that she’s started cheerleading, I wanted to give her an extra boost by enrolling her in a class at GCA. I registered online, but their portal is extremely difficult to navigate—even for someone who is tech-savvy. After finally signing up, I realized I had been enrolled in the wrong class and had to call the studio to fix it. They told me they would give me a free trial, which I appreciated.
On the day of the trial, I arrived 10 minutes early. Because I’m not familiar with Fairfield (I live in Stratford), it was challenging to find the correct entrance. The facility has multiple sections, and we walked through several of them without finding a single staff member to help or guide us. We called the listed phone number multiple times and received no answer.
When we eventually found the correct suite, there still wasn’t anyone at the front desk. No staff, no signage, nothing. At that point, we were already about 5–7 minutes late, and I didn’t want to interrupt any classes in progress. Yet we still never received a return call or any direction from the studio.
This entire experience completely turned me off. I’m relieved I didn’t pay for a full month and opted for the trial instead. If this is any indication of how the studio is run—disorganized, unresponsive, and lacking basic oversight—then it’s definitely not for us. I’m honestly appalled that a studio with locations in Norwalk, Milford, and Fairfield can function with such little structure or customer support. It even feels like a safety concern to have no one at the front desk and no supervision over who enters the building. I cannot believe this is how they operate.

My daughter has been going to GCA in Fairfield since she was 2, she’s now 6 and looks forward to going every week! My 4 year old son also recently joined ninjas and the coaches have been so patient and kind, especially with his crazy 4 year old antics. The staff is always super helpful and kind. Highly reccomend all of the GCA facilities to any family!

My daughter loves GCA! They go to the raisinettes class every Wednesday. The staff is so welcoming and they work incredibly well with the children. My daughter is always looking forward to Wednesday. I know my daughter will be with GCA for a long time. Highly recommend, 5 GOLD STARS!

Do not waste your time! I should have trusted all the reviews. Place looks run down. Brought my 3 yr old for a lil ninjas class for the first time and there was no one at front desk. We didn’t know where to go or what protocol was. I could have brought 10 kids with me and the teenagers (literally super young ) people in charge could care less. they didn’t pay proper attention to kids and made for kids to be face planting, falling, crying. Just super carelessness on their behalf. They spoke to the kids super rude and condescending and that did it for me. My child didn’t even want to be there and kept telling me he wanted to go home. There was no follow up either. Parents were saying they attend because they have a 6 month commitment and it’s not cheap so they are kind of stuck. Seriously don’t consider this place at all.

Do NOT give this place your credit card information. They will continuously charge you without any explanation or transparency. I signed up for a once a week 45-minute class for my 3 year old son, and in total have paid $308. Breaking this down, this comes out to $39 PER CLASS. This is more than a boutique adult fitness class! It's outrageous and not worth the price. To make matters worse, they're extremely sneaky about their pricing and how and when they charge. I would have looked elsewhere for a class like this had GCA been upfront about the total cost. It's not right, and I will not be giving them any business in the future.

Very disappointed in the lack of communication when it come to the billing and , they wheeled us in in a free class , then the following we we decided let see if this is something our granddaughter would like , the front desk girl said we would get billed every month so we sarted the free class sep 8th starting day would be the following Sunday , by sep 15th they had already took money out my bank $135 when I asked she said it was a tuition fee and charged for the half of September mind you she hadn’t only went but 1 Sunday .. my granddaughter likes it so i looked the other way until they took out another $145 Oct 4th now I’m like wth is going on , they have a young girl who gives out miss information , they don’t make it clear about monthly payments or if they charge tuition I didn’t know until I saw it took out my bank .. ,mind you it’s only been 5 Sunday class is every Sunday , my granddaughter kept coming out the room saying she was bored they do exercise warm up about 20 minutes then walk the bean my granddaughter lost interest so on the 5th Sunday I ask hey my granddaughter isn’t enjoying herself she don’t want to do it , she tell me if you drop them it’s $75 fee that I wasn’t aware off , they are sneaky and uncommunicative, you run a business you be clear about payments don’t then I research and they done this to a lot of people I don’t understand how a business like this is still open they need to be investigated for misinformation and then trying to make people stay by charging them a late fee I’m going to my bank to see if I found fight this it’s terrible .. I’m going to get a lawyer and see what he says because she’s doing this to a lot of Families and I don’t think it’s fair we work so hard and here she comes and just puts all these charges it hasn’t even been 2 months and I’ve already been charged almost $300.. please do your research don’t go by free stuff that’s how they scam you .. it’s terrible ….

Disappointing Experience with Hidden Fees and Unfair Commitment Policy
I’m extremely disappointed with this gymnastics company. When I signed my child up, I had no idea about their mandatory 21-week commitment, which they don’t make clear upfront. If you want to cancel early, you’re hit with a $75 cancellation fee, which feels incredibly unfair.
On top of that, there’s a $50 annual fee that wasn’t mentioned until after we were already enrolled, and they don’t openly advertise their monthly tuition costs—you’re only informed once you’re well into the process. It feels like they purposely hide these fees to lock you in, and I’m really frustrated by the lack of transparency.
I expected a much more open and honest experience, but this has been nothing but hidden fees and commitments. Be careful before signing up!

I had a very disappointing experience with GCA. The tuition advertised on their website is misleading, as it doesn’t reflect the actual costs involved. They impose a hefty cancellation fee and require a 21-week commitment before you can even cancel, which was not clearly communicated upfront. The staff we interacted with were unpleasant and not forthcoming about these policies. They misled us and dismissed concerns about cancellation fees, falsely claiming it was easy to cancel. I strongly warn other parents to be cautious and thoroughly verify all details before enrolling. Parents be warned!!!

I was on the cheer team I was a kid. Most unorganized team I’ve ever seen, no discipline at all and was all over the place. The lady running it used to talk about my mother in front of me. Currently at a new gym, switching gyms was the best decision ever. GCA is bad

My family and I are truly blessed to have dealt the most warm and inviting staff. We have relocated several times for work reasons and my kids would be distraught if we had to do so again. They love it here and feel right at home. The coaches cater to each child’s limitations and skill level. They provide direction, but in a fun environment where they still have some freedom. Thank you for everything, bravo! GCA has our vote!

Why are kids sitting and waiting for camp to start at 9:25 when camp supposed to start at 9? Just because others are coming in late doesn’t mean all the other kids should be sitting there and waiting doing nothing. Horrible! Never sending my kids again

This place has the worst manager. She thinks she has power the parents. She yells at the parents saying things like I am the manager and im the only that can talk. Worst manager I have seen in my life. She also takes money from the credit card with out consent.

Terrible customer service. Rude when I first registered my son and then I brought my son into class today just to be told that today's class was canceled and that I should have checked my e-mail. Meanwhile, I check my email multiple times a day and did not receive any email. So far every encounter has been negative with GCA of Fairfield which is unfortunate as it's a good location for our family.

Awful. Horrific. Degrading. The worst customer service I’ve seen in many years. The managers are condescending. We showed up for my kid’s gymnastics class. Oh… classes are canceled. You should have received an email. Well I have never got one. Neither are the other parents who came in. We rearranged our schedule to come to class. Absolutely the worst management and the 2 women who represent this business are completely out of touch with how to deal with upset parents. All they said is “whats up?” And if anyone gets upset they ask you to leave because it’s “ unfair to other guests “. Well guess what not everyone is going to smile and accept your lame apology. But it’s perfectly fine to charge the credit card for the lessons. Oh the Manager Amanda said “ I think we are doing pretty good”. Wrong!!!!! Shame.

My daughter attends the Mind and Motion class here, which I honestly cannot say enough good things about. The perfect combination of gymnastics, free play and socializing, mixed with arts and crafts, and they are always doing something fun for the holidays. My daughter absolutely loves it! We decided to have her 4th birthday here this past weekend and it was so great. Very clean, set up nicely, staff were organized, polite and super helpful with everything. All the kids who attended had so much fun! One of my friends has a child who is very shy and she was so impressed with the way the coaches interacted with her daughter, encouraged her and got her involved… so much so that she is now going to sign her daughter up for class here. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a birthday party location or classes.

I called this gym today to schedule a trial day for my daughter. The director of the gym was extremely rude!!!!! I will travel a much further distance in exchange for respect!!!
The gym may be an awesome place, however I'll never know because if the face of the gym is represented by such a rude gym director, I'm not sure it's worth my time or money enrolling my daughter in a place such as this one.
First impressions are lasting!!!!!

I wouldn't recommend this place.I wouldn't suggest this place because my kid have been there for one day and the next week they wouldn't let my kid go in because she said my kid is not in the computer and it was her second time going. Ps.it was the women in the front desk just a reminder she almost threw a pen at me...
