Pool area is hit or miss. Alot of times the therapy pool heating system is not working. Also its never vacumned I see the same dead skin on stairs and bottom for months. I've complained many times bur noone cares. Also the jacuzzi is broke down alot!!!! And I'm paying each month for these facilities. They need to get better maintenance people and a new jacuzzi. We pay alot of $ .so we deserve working pools etc. Whom ever owns this needs to spend $ on updating. I dont want to call health dept but I will. Stop taking profits and fix stuff. I know how business works

I LOVE Healthtrax. I came into it kind of kicking and screaming because there’s a million other things I would rather be doing other than exercising and working out. I came only because my doctor recommended it and I want to stay healthy especially as I am getting older. One of the reasons I enjoy Healthtrax so much is because of my personal trainer, Amanda. Everybody is helpful and friendly there, but Amanda has been a wonderful bonus! She is very patient with me. She pushes me to do more, but she’s also very conscious of my limitations at the same time. She goes the extra mile even when I’m not with her by texting me with information that she feels would be helpful to me. She always has a joyful spirit and she is so professional in all that she does. I feel so much healthier now, and I actually look forward to going to Healthtrax in large part because of my personal trainer. Thank you Amanda!

Healthtrax is a great place to exercise with friendly employees who are willing to help with any or all questions about how you can get physically fit and they have a basketball court and other facilities for elderly people who need exercise.

John’s Zumba classes are amazing! His positive energy is infectious, the playlist is great and it was honestly a really good workout! I love how this gym is more low key than others in the area but actually has the best energy.

This gym is beautiful but unfortunately has drawbacks; the classes are not sufficient for the members interest. They need to add more classes. Silver Sneakers membership require $10 per month to use pool and take classes. You have to fight to get in a class which is already too crowded. Why can’t they add additional daytime classes!

Good gym. I'm 6'3 and I feel scrunched up on some of the equipment (like the leg press). The other item to note is for senior citizens who are not disabled - the locker room is down a flight of stairs. To be fair - there is an elevator to the main floor.

Healthtrax Newington has good classes. Best part of the gym is the kid zone. Thanks to the kid zone parents have no excuse to skip working out. Looking forward to the end of COVID to resume our daily fitness routine.

I referred someone to healthtrax and the newington location is the closest to her. Unfortunately Jeff seems to be very rude to people who are members and little is done about it. When the pool is broken, there is poor communication members to alert them and there is no compensation or partial reimbursement for the inconveniences that members have. The membership is pricey compared to other places and I feel members should be treated better. I won’t be referring anyone else to the newington location as a result. I hope management looks into this issue and communication is evaluated and improved.

They even have a room for your children to stay, under supervision, while you work out.
There are specific areas for stretching, weight lifting, aerobics, handball, swimming, basketball and group workouts.
All the trainers are certified, extremely helpful , and very friendly.
Healthtrax also participates in the Silver Sneaker program.
Healthtrax also provides individual training which is outstanding. They will tailor your workouts according to your physical abilities.
There are changing rooms with lockers, showers, and sauna.

I've only gone for the past two days but the staff were very kind and helpful. The inclusive classes are cool, I did mat Pilates yesterday and although not very intense, it's good if you want to relax, stretch, improve balance, and strengthen a little all at the same time. It's very clean from what I saw and the equipment is pretty good. You can use the studio which has big mirrors, mats, weights, Fitness balls and more; as long as its not in use by a class. Not all gyms have a pool so having one here is cool. The locker rooms are clean and well put with a sauna. Theres a daycare for children and a microwave and small area if you have food or something. I get pretty excited to go back. They also have free belvita cookies for a nice carb filled snack when finished working out.

It's like the 1976 Milwaukee Bucks training facility. They constantly have the half a basketball court filled with people so don't count on playing basketball all day. The jacuzzi works half the time they constantly have issues with it and you can't bring a friend compared to other places. The benches are old and it looks like the gym from dodge ball you might patches himself there. Overall was dissatisfied with the facility and wouldn't recommend it until they update the place.
