I loved the Fit for Fall program! The educational videos were amazing, and I really enjoyed the workouts. I was so surprised and happy when I saw the difference in my progress photos. Also, the daily habits checklist kept me accountable and mindful of what I was eating and how active I was. Fit for Fall was just the motivation I needed to get back into a routine after my fitness plan fell off for a bit. I loved the format of independent workouts, but we had support and education from Candace through the entire program! I lost about 4 pounds over the 30 days focusing on nutrition and exercise, but notice a huge difference in how my jeans feel!

30 year old athletic male, 3-month virtual 1:1 client. What brought me to Candace were my 1) knee pain caused by degraded cartilage and 2) AC joint and impingement pain in my shoulder. I've had pain in both of these areas for years now, have tried many rounds of physical therapy from some of the best, and it got to the point where surgery and stem cell injections were looking like the only remaining options, to the tune of $6000+. I saw Candace's other clients' results and decided to do a consultation with her and see if these were problems she could help with. Although I came for the knee/shoulder pain, what I didn't realize would be so beneficial was the nutrition plan. I always considered myself on track with nutrition and almost told Candace not to bother with it, but I'm glad I listened to her instead. Long story short I've ended up doubling the calories I used to consume and I feel a million times better. I now understand that "normal" doesn't mean constantly hungry all day with low energy. Although I've been lifting and exercising for decades now, my body composition still changed for the better with the weight on the scale staying the same the whole time which I thought was pretty crazy.
Candace identified my needs based off of my injuries and tailored programs and workouts to address the root causes of those injuries, all while promising I won't gain fat or lose muscle. I thought it was too good to be true, but I can't speak highly enough of my experience and the results. Years of some of the best physical therapy hadn't accomplished what Candace was able to in three months. I'm not claiming that miracles have happened, there is still work to be done with respect to the shoulder and knee, but the progress and improvement that occurred in a short amount of time gives me so much hope that I'll be able to do the things I love again - squatting, deadlifting, sprinting, running, playing sports - to be best of my ability and without pain. By the end of our time together Candace had already reintroduced some of those moves, something I was told "would never be a part of my regular activities again" by doctors.

Candace is absolutely phenomenal to work with. I have been working with her doing the one on one wellness coaching, which includes personal training and nutrition counseling and it has changed my life. In 2023 social media and the internet can be saturated with information and it is very hard to know what is accurate and actually helpful/healthy. Prior to working with candace I was working with someone I thought had a lot of knowledge but I wasn't. I was severely under nourished and over training. I was starving and had barely any energy to get through my day, but I thought this was how I had to "diet." She is helping me learn how to eat and enjoy life while still fueling my body. That diet culture is toxic and the number on the scale means absolutely nothing, we need to fuel our body and enjoy the foods we are eating. I am eating twice the amount of food I was before, I have energy to get through my day, and I am actually enjoying eating foods that I like.
I also had constant back pain because I didn't have proper form and wasn't engaging my core correctly, and I can tell you that after the first 6 weeks my back pain was completely gone. She helped me dial it back to the basics and build a solid foundation. No matter what my question is she always knew how to help. She has taught me so much in only three months I am so excited to keep going. I can't describe the feeling of just feeling strong from the inside out and being excited to go to the gym everyday. She is always available if you have questions, want to run ideas by her, or if you are having an off day and need motivation. The relationship she develops with her one on one clients is like no other and I am so thankful to have found her. I can promise you that not matter what your need or goal is she is the one that can help get you there. I highly recommend using any of her programs!

Candace is an excellent trainer. She will kick your butt, but her approach is to train you smarter not harder. She’s extremely knowledgeable about what works and stays abreast of the latest studies and information. I used Candace for in-person personal training services and I would HIGHLY recommend her. I’ve worked with a few different trainers over the years and she’s the best. The only reason Im not currently using her is that she’s over an hour away from me and my work schedule is too hectic to travel that distance but I’m using all the information she’s provided me and have found my love for the gym again. She’s extremely knowledgeable and very thoughtful in her programming. She really tailor's the program to what your personal needs, goals and ability are. She also offers 6 week programs you can do at home if you aren’t able to see her in person. I’m very thankful for her to help me feel like myself again!!!

I've followed and engaged with Candace via social media for close to 10 years. I took a group upper body strengthening/handstand class in Nashville several years back. It was amazing! Her knowledge of anatomy and ability to give succinct verbal cues makes her one of the best yoga and fitness instructors I've had the pleasure of training with.
I also guest taught for a children's yoga segment at one of her yoga teacher trainings and saw first hand her passion for the teacher's program she offers. She's constantly seeking knowledge in regards to functional strengthening, business practices, and overall daily balance as a professional in the industry. She extends this knowledge to her students in a way that allows them to be ready to start their business journey as soon as they graduate.
Candace's social media accounts are a wealth of knowledge too. Her YouTube account is the first thing I recommend to people asking about where to start out with a yoga practice. Her Instagram and TikTok accounts are next for seeing great tips for strengthening and functional movement.
I'm currently having lumbar back issues and as I'm cleared by my physician, I'll start her back program to help with my posterior chain. I wish I lived closer to do personal training directly with her because she truly has every facet of well being covered!

I hired Candace 2 different times, 1 after a shoulder injury and I needed personalized training to rebuild the muscles without re-injury. It was AMAZING! We are almost a country apart but she always answered my questions sooner then I expected and with her help I was able to get back to my true passion of swimming. I am a remote client of Candace’s, and have been for about 7 months. I am on my 4th personal training program with her. When I started with Candace, I was still suffering from my postpartum depression and really feeling poorly emotionally and physically. She not only helped me work on the physical, but had me journal to help me gain my confidence and self worth back.
In all my time working with her, Candace has answered my (many) questions and helped make sure I was doing my excercises correctly. I have told her many times, but she has truly changed my life. I am more happy, confident, and strong then i’ve been in a long, long time. I can’t recommend her and all of what she offers at Intention Factor enough!

Since living in Europe, I have mostly practiced with Candace remotely. I did take an in-person class with Candace once when she was in Germany (after having followed her online for years) and couldn’t recommend her more! I’ve had issues with sciatica since I had my kids!! It progressively got worse and worse (to the point I’ve had to be on muscle relaxers). I decided to sign up for Candace’s program to see if it would help. I’m SO glad I did!!! It helped me tremendously!! She showed me how to activate my TVA and how to stand properly, which has totally helped my sciatica! I haven’t had a “sciatica” episode in almost a year!!! I signed up for a personal training program remotely to help me better understand my body while working out, to strengthen my core after two babies, and to see what could be done to help an old shoulder injury. My workouts/ breathing exercises and accompanying foam rolling suggestions have noticeably strengthened my core and I have had minimal to no shoulder pain for the first time in 15 years. My custom postural assessment and program was phenomenal (and very affordable). Candace was very thorough in figuring out my needs and goals, and the exercises she had me doing started off easy enough to not be overwhelming but were hard enough that I still felt like I was “doing something”.
As for results, they were incredible! It’s amazing how much you can improve just by correcting your posture. No more back pain, knee pain, neck pain, or headaches for me. And it’s so effective because the program doesn’t just focus on the strengthening moves, but also being mindful and aware of how you move throughout the day. Candace said this was just as important as the exercises themselves, and from my results I can only agree. If you’re in constant pain just from everyday activities like standing and walking, give this program a shot! Candace is a legit miracle worker! <3

Intention Factor is a beautiful little studio in the heart of Ridgefield. It’s clean and relaxing, with great natural lighting during the day, and cool lighting for night classes. From a private workout session to a peaceful yoga class, it has everything you might need for your choice of movement! I had a wonderful private training session with Candace, the owner. She was able to help me correct my form, worked me to the bone (in a good way), and recommended some great exercises that I am able to do at home with the equipment that I have. I am doing the 6 week back strength/posture program (online) and it’s been great. I am easing back into working out and getting into shape after having kids. It’s easy to learn the moves from the tutorials and then repeat the sets. I loved adding in foam rolling to ease tension in my muscles, it’s like a reverse massage! I plan to continue this program and try others that Intention Factor offers. Thanks Candace!

I'm a long time fan on YouTube and now a remote client, who had Candace do a custom program for her - I was amazed how much she really assessed me from afar and how tailored the program was to my needs. I had to quit the program because of a back injury (hopefully I can continue with it at some point) and then joined the Low Back Program. It's a group program which is so well-balanced and variable that it again gave me the feeling of being tailored.

I have taken remote yoga classes and recently got to participate in a business coaching class with Candace and I just love her energy! She is so organized, and precise with everything that she teaches. In her yoga classes, her voice in calm and soothing and her cues are always what I need. In the business coaching call, I got so much out of it that I didn’t even know I needed! When people ask me where to start with Yoga or fitness, I always refer them to Candace’s YouTube, App, or Zoom classes!

As someone with a doctorate in physical therapy, I tend to be pretty picky about my workouts but Candace's programming has absolutely blown me away. My custom postural program from Intention Factor was AMAZING and worked so effectively in regards to helping me with my alignment, but what I loved the most is that Candace has entirely changed how I approach my posture *in the moment*. I'm now so mindful of how I stand, how I sit, how my shoulders are aligned while I'm working out, how I place my feet on the ground while walking...I could go on and on. In summary, this program has changed my life and how I approach my correcting posture for the better.

I have had 2 custom programs written by Intention Factor, and I loved both! They were both remote. They weren't too long, they were easily attainable when your life is hectic, and you still felt and saw the progress. Plus, the workouts were fun! Especially cardio dance days 😊 Candace works with the equipment you have, and gives recommendations for equipment that is not required but could be helpful. Fell off the workout bandwagon while studying for a national exam for a couple months, but I'm totally going to redo the 2 programs soon, as it has been quite some time since my last workout!

Candace is an awesome trainer and teacher! This is for you, if you want a science backed, reasonable and motivating fitness program. The workouts are simultaneously fun and challenging. Candace‘ coaching style is really personal and incredibly inspiring. I would prefer her online program over any training program in my closer surrounding. 10/10 would recommend!

I would give Candace 100 stars if I could. I have used her products remotely for more years than I can remember. She is super knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. She can absolutely help with any fitness goals you might have. She has helped improve my yoga form with her yoga videos.
