Korlates Fitness is Not Tradition Pilates. It is a semi private Pilates Fitness group class. These 50 minute classes are performed on 8 Pilates Reformer machines with towers. You will enjoy an energetic workout designed for all levels. Fitness tools such as mini trampolines, kettlebells, hand weights, jump boards, steps, and fitness ropes are all used to get a full body workout that will offer you strength, balance, and of course core work in every class. Personal Training is also available.

I really enjoyed my class with Kris!! It was a unique blend of circuit training and Pilates reformer workout! As an experienced Pilates practitioner I found the class challenging yet safe and effective. It was also very cool to learn about Kris’s custom made reformers! Amazing experience. I have taken Pilates with Kris for over 10 years. His studio is a warm and welcoming place. Under his careful instruction, my core and muscle strength along with balance and flexibility have greatly improved. Pilates has also minimized the discomfort of arthritis in my shoulders and knees. I recently had back surgery. Thanks to Kris and Pilates, being in good shape going in has made the recovery process so much easier.

I have been going to Korlates for more than 5 years. This is the first exercise program I have ever stayed with. Kris is a great instructor. He offers beginner to advanced options for all the exercises. I like the multiple time options offered so I can fit exercise into my schedule. I have made great friends while going there too. It is a very friendly and non threatening environment. I have always had fun at every class. I highly recommend Korlates.

My all time favorite establishment, where I can get a customized, perfectly balanced workout in a small class setting, while enjoying the company of others. The owner and instructor (Kris) is exceptionally well credentialed - he teaches form and technique to people across the country (who themselves are looking to get certified) and is a former ballet dancer - and thus very aware and knowledgeable about "body mechanics" and able to provide exercise modifications in the case of any injuries or muscular aches and pains.
And, on top of it all, he has an awesome personality, and creates a fun and engaging setting where there is constant laughter and a lovely sense of community with fellow devotees - the Farmington Valley provides many choices for those who want to get or stay in shape, but the Korlates Studio is unique among them and good for the body and soul - highly recommend it

Rare is the place that combines fitness with highly skilled instruction, precise attention to detail and personal training within a small group ensemble.
I began classes at Korlates Fitness in 2009 and continued for several years until my family relocated.
Now back in the area I contacted Kris Kory, owner, in the hopes of resuming my Pilates training in tandem with his Korlates brand and expert instruction.
Only a couple of months into my classes I already feel a marked difference in my balance, my posture and my strength.
I can detect a new found tone and firmness developing throughout my body.
Korlates with Kris is a fitness journey tailored around your individual pace and ability all while developing core strength and confidence with the tutelage of a highly capable professional who remarkably teaches each class every day!
Pilates studios, like many other businesses, have a culture. It is revealed in what they teach and how they teach, the lessons and skills they impart, the people they attract (and keep) and how you “ feel” when you are there.
I was so happy and rewarded to see that Korlates Fitness, although matured in my absence, remained a welcoming, fun, personable culture of teaching and learning; fitness and health.

I started going to Korlates Fitness back in 2005 because of hip issues. Kris is incredibly knowledgeable as well as entertaining!! The classes are so much fun you almost forget how hard you’re working out!! And…I no longer have hip issues!!
During the Covid lockdown I began doing the online classes. They were a life saver and I looked forward to them every morning. It’s a combo of cardio,dance,step,weights,stroops,Pilates and a bit of Yoga. I enjoyed the online classes so much I have continued to do them in the comfort of my own home or wherever I may be…. Even on vacation!!
I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful Kris is!! I promise you won’t be disappointed….but instead asking yourself why you didn’t start this earlier!!

I started attending Korlates early winter 2017 on the recommendation of a friend. I had been unsuccessfully trying to heal a bad case of Achilles tendinitis and had not been happy with traditional yoga or Pilates classes due to the extremely slow pace and “stuffy” atmosphere. Korlates is nothing like those classes and Kris is above and beyond amazing. 50 minutes flies by and you feel amazing when you leave. The music is always great and class is always fun and chatty. Not only has Korlates helped me get in the best shape of my life, I love going and my Achilles has healed! Kris is supremely knowledgeable in health and fitness and has been everything I needed to recover. This truly is where the friendly people workout.
