Love the gym, love the classes and instructors (please never get rid of spin classes) BUT they have sold way too many memberships! The parking lot is ALWAYS packed to the point where I've had to actually buy parking next door. I also wish their products in the bathroom were more luxurious for the price.

Life Time is the best gym in Fairfield County with classes that rival every boutique fitness studio you’ll find in the area. I especially want to acknowledge Emily who is the resident and member concierge. She is committed to giving members and residents the best experience possible and is always so professional and dedicated to welcoming everyone to Life Time, when she’s in and out of the club! She takes the time to get to know everyone and follow up with their experiences at the club. We are so lucky to have her! Same can be said about Jen, Jeff, and Chanya! Love them all

Nice gym, modern equipment and great fitness classes. Overcrowded at times, and lacking in the cleanliness department. Very positive experiences with staff, specifically Emily at the concierge desk.

This is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a member of. I joined in 2023 and have had a wonderful experience ever since. The staff is so helpful and friendly, love Chanya & Emily at the front desk! The other members and environment is great. I can’t recommend Life Time enough it’s been a pleasure.

I have been a member at Life Time for over two years and have loved the experience. From spin classes, to summers at the pool the staff (especially Jen, Jeff and Emily) and members have been a pleasure to be around! 5/5 stars for the best gym in Stamford!

I would like to share some concerns regarding the professionalism of one of the staff members at this gym E.M. While I appreciate the overall environment and services, I believe it’s important to maintain a standard where all members feel comfortable and respected.
On several occasions, I have observed this (married) staff member engaging in behavior outside of work that seems inconsistent with professional standards, including pursuing overly personal or flirtatious interactions with gym members (and building residents). This creates an impression of blurred boundaries between staff and clientele. Additionally, within the gym itself, her interactions with members appear to vary significantly depending on her personal opinion of them. This can result in some members feeling unwelcome or uncomfortable, which undermines the inclusive and professional atmosphere that the Lifetime brand should promote.
I am sharing this feedback not to be personal, but to encourage consistent professionalism among all staff so that members can enjoy a neutral, respectful, and supportive environment.

Unfortunately the Best gym in Stamford; with no other choice if you want a decent gym with good equipment, this is the best. My biggest pet peeve here is the floors and equipment. Hair everywhere, I don’t think they clean the equipment or the floors at all. It’s pretty gross and unfortunate for what you are paying.

Agree with the poster about the resident concierge (EM). Anyone who behaves like that at their job usually gets disciplined or terminated. Pool access should be taken away. There are some great people that work at the club, but she is not one of them. She ruins the experience. No class or professionalism.

As someone who travels regularly to Stamford, I needed a flexible fitness solution- and Stamford Team delivered in every way. From the moment I reached out, Jennifer and Jeffrey were proactive, thoughtful and accommodating.

Highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in the area- this team sets the GOLD STANDARD!

Staff is phenomenal except for one resident concierge (E.M.). She goes out of her way to make you feel uncomfortable if she doesn’t like you. She will bad mouth you and start rumors also. Very unprofessional behavior. On days off, you can find her getting drunk at the pool, bad mouthing coworkers, members and residents. Stay far away from this person and you will have a great experience.

Went to the Stamford location today. Not one to review, but I do have to say that Emily at the desk was super efficient, courteous and friendly with the whole process. Therefore we signed up to be members . Looking forward to the activities and programs lifetime has to offer! Thanks to Emily!

Love it here!

If you come in the morning, the gym will be mostly empty, which is wonderful!

This LT is clean and new looking. The staff is friendly and the members are nice too.

The cafe, outdoor space, and workout areas are all well kept. They have studios and class space as well.

You can grab food or a drink in the cafe on the main floor. If you go upstairs, you'll find the spacious workout area and outdoor pool.

The outdoor pool is open to residents all of the time, and it's open to members during the week.

I love it here! I'll definitely be back again soon. What a great work out space!

Under no circumstances should you join this gym. They are raising the price despite the fact the gym is half the size of other branches and parking is an absolute nightmare with no reimbursement for those who are forced to pay for street parking. Church parking takes up a dozen spaces that are frequently vacant. Gym should have worked with parking garage across the street for some sort of system. Better off going to equinox which is slightly more expensive for better overall experience and is not too far away.

I’m very torn about how to rate Lifetime in Stamford. In the one hand the facilities are awesome. The staff very helpful.

BUT the goddam music of the floor classes is out of control!!! You can’t workout in peace. Can’t hear your own headphones!! I’ve asked repeatedly over two years for the music to be rescued to a tolerable level. IF I get a response and I mean IF it’s just placating. Nothing is changed. I know other members are very frustrated. No one wants to speak up though. So I will.

The first time I visited this gym was in North Carolina on behalf of my sister and I was sold. When they came to Stamford I had to get a membership what is not to admire about this gym as it is also very welcoming. Keep it up LIFETIME!!

Visiting ct and decided to stop by this location. Stains everywhere and it looks like the floor tiles hadn’t been mopped or cleaned at all.
One of the bathroom stalls near the Bell Street entrance had DIARRHEA stains on the seat!!! Absolutely disgusting 🤢🤮. This location falls short from the quality I’m used to at SKY and Wall Street. the locker room was decent. All the lockers are big (not a weird mix like in the city) towels were well stocked and the sauna + steam room being inside is a nice bonus. Pretty clean for the most part but steam room smells horrible. Still I think PENN holds the crown when it comes to locker rooms.
Can’t imagine paying $300+ a month for this location… huge letdown.

I live at Lifetime Living and the gym is by far the best aspect of living there. The class instructors are great and very approachable, and it is obvious that they put effort into each class. The management team is very responsive and also very approachable should you need them. Also, was very surprised by the quality of the spa.

Okay gym. Steam room sometimes is dirty. For what you get for the price I don't think it's worth it. The place should be way cleaner with a better selection of equitment. Also the parking situation is completely horrible unless you can come in the middle of the day good luck.

My home away from home, Lifetime has almost everything for almost everyone, in terms of what I would call "mid-tier" - meaning, it has more than almost any basic or intermediate gym, for the area especially, and even a pool; however, this particular location doesn't have rock climbing, pickleball, racquet ball, tennis, or anything along those lines; real estate here is difficult to come by, and the fact that there is a pool alone is a huge plus. GREAT sun deck, too. The cafe is on point, except that they should serve PROOF Coffee Roasters coffee, already...

Aside from working out, obviously, the STAFF is the reason I STAY here. Emily, Jeff, Jen, DJ, Danny, Rose, Alessia, Danielle, the list goes on. Plus, the members, for the most part, are other good people. There are always a few apples that spoil the bunch, and I'd say it's nothing that can't be ignored... but it's mainly two guys in particular who seem to be having a contest to see who can drop the weights the absolute loudest every time they do any exercise. Spend one day at this gym, and you'll know exactly who this is talking about.

But I digress. This is the place I will belong for as long as humanly possible :)

Amazing customer service and satisfaction with enlisting to the gym . They have a positive energy make you wanna go to the gym and do your best. I appreciate the customer service I received and I need everybody to be acknowledged for their service champagne and Michelle was really nice. Help me a lot to understand what to do the best gym I ever went to. I recommend this gym to anybody who that is trying to improve their life with a positive energy and a positive attitude from staff. Everybody in Life Time should be recognized for their service and get a raise because it’s outstanding. I really appreciate the kindness I receive from all of you.

Amazing for an apartment gym, other locations like the Westchester one is better. Sauna temperature is laughable I'm shivering in there, it needs to be 5-10 degrees hotter and this opinion comes from many other members as well. the steam room gets hotter so I just use that. The sauna is hotter at edge or la fitness why are these mid tier gyms saunas better?

This place is okay. It has a good selection of equipment and is usually clean. Staff are friendly. It’s open for extended hours. The place gets pretty crowded between 5pm and 8pm on weekdays. Some classes play extremely loud music which is very annoying. I was also unhappy with the marketing. The sales people kept telling everyone that the membership price was going up for the past year, but it is still the same as when it first opened. Personal training here is also a lot more expensive than Equinox. Honestly if the gym were 0.1 miles farther, I wouldn’t have switched from Equinox. Equinox is older but feels more upscale and is less crowded than Lifetime in the evenings.

Cons: serious lack of sauna etiquette!! Management should put a sign out reminding people to shower before entering and to wear swimsuit or towel, NOT sweaty workout clothes! It’s unhealthy and disgusting. No slippers either..

Pros: great variety of classes

Dynamic stretching with Max at Lifetime has been a game changer! After over 20 years of running, these past five weeks of sessions have improved my stride, helped me run inclines more comfortably, and increased my potential to push the pace. Max’s thoughtful instruction, constant feedback, and care have made a huge difference in my running outcomes. Stretching really is the secret weapon for better running!

My husband and I have been on the hunt for a luxury athletic club that doesn't break the bank (too much) and still provides us with everything we need to reach our fitness goals. We set up a tour, which was super easy to do on their website, to visit Life Time's Stamford downtown location and Jeffrey, who worked at the concierge desk was amazing. We were given a thorough tour and breakdown of what was (and wasn't!) included in our membership fees. They have a brand new, gorgeous outdoor pool. With our membership, we get Monday to Thursday access. To access the pool on the weekends, you have to pay a one-time fee of $400 per person for the summer season. That felt a little steep to us and we agreed that pool four out of seven days was good enough for us. This is probably where an indoor pool would have been really nice to have. The only classes that aren't included in the membership are the pilates reformer classes which was kind of a bummer for me, but you still have access to mat pilates classes, so I'm fine with it. As for the facility itself, it's beautiful. Having just opened in September 2023, the space still feels and looks brand new. Everything is very clean. The women's locker room smells like a spa, which I love. They have all the toiletries you'd need, plenty of towels, lockers, showers, blowdryers etc. I haven't had a chance to try out the sauna yet but I'm very much looking forward to it. The actual gym itself is probably the best that I've ever personally been to. Tons of equipment, lots of floor space for mat work and stretching, and even when it's busy, it doesn't feel like people are on top of you. The staff have all been nothing short of helpful and friendly. We haven't been downstairs to the cafe yet but will definitely stop by for a pre or post-workout shake soon! And they have free parking which is always a plus. All in all, we are very happy with our decision!

Here is my honest review, yes maybe the parking may tick people off but…in all honesty the gym is worth it. It has classes, amazing gym equipment, a cafe downstairs, and friendly staff. It has so many things to offer even a work space…A GYM WITH A WORK SPACE! In my opinion I think it’s worth it, if you want more features there are other lifetime gyms near by that you can visit!

I love this place, jumped at the opportunity to move over from Chelsea Piers for minimal increase in cost. Brand new equipment, every type of equipment or class that you need, very well maintained, staff is super friendly and helpful, and the place is immaculate. I do look forward to when the parking garage opens in the very near future, but I understand the construction company was behind schedule for finishing some of the outside work and is occupying that space.

It’s okay. As a LifeTime member coming from another location, I would not be a member here if this was my home gym. There is another luxury gym in Stamford that’s less money, easier parking, more guest passes, and nicer amenities.

Pros: nice staff, clean, small towels near shower, recovery room. Updated/new equipment. Pool but not fitness oriented and looks more for residents.

Cons: parking, no indoor & outdoor pool, no pickleball, no basketball, no jacuzzi in each locker room and co-ed jacuzzi. No combs in bathroom, no bathrobes, showers, steam room, and sauna are small. The equipment is very close together.

Updated: The gym overall is not worth the cost. It is like a 24 hour fitness kinda vibe no real luxury. And the reason I am giving it 3 stars is because I wasn't offered a tour by anyone. I really wasn't greeted by the employees aside from one front desk person. And the parking is a nuisance. I think for such a high cost gym a free parking lot should be provided. I am a.person who works out 7 days a week 2 hours a day so this is costing me 20.extra dollars a week. It definitely does not compare to the Westchester gym. For all the amenities not being ready lifetime should be ashamed for charging what they do. We should be provided a discount till everything is ready since that's what we're paying for.

Better than every gym in Stamford but unfortunately not what I was expecting. Thought a lifetime like the one in westchester was coming to Stamford. This gym doesn’t have an indoor pool. No sport courts like for tennis or basketball. Heard that if you want access to outdoor pool you must pay for the season. Heard the same about Pilates (that you must pay extra for the class). Sticking to this gym for now due to the convenience of it & it’s classes. The pool should at least be available to members when it’s open. Giving it 4 out 5 only because it’s the best in Stamford, but not the best gym I’ve ever been to.
