MELT is the first gym I've been apart of that made me feel welcomed from the start! Overall fantastic gym. Ive been going for 2 yrs & have built a lot of strength. The coaches all have great personalities, create a fun & encouraging atmosphere, offer modifications & extra challenges. Good variety of equipment & types of workouts & classes. The floor & equipment is kept very clean.

Three years ago my life changed for the better when I met Joe Carabase and Aaron Granahan. Iβve learned so much about fitness, mobility, nutrition and what it means to be part of an amazing community with the most supportive people! Iβve recruited friends to join along with me as well. I have been with MELT for more than three years now. I can't even begin to say enough good things. I have never been very athletic and before MELT I was never able stay with a consistent work out. Since joining MELT I attend classes 4 times a week / 5 times when my schedule allows. I actually feel stronger now and welcome new challenges and workouts. The coaches are always energetic and positive - it truly is a no judgement zone!! No matter your fitness level they know just how to push you to get to help you reach your goals. All that said, it is not just a fitness gym, they provide nutritional counseling to fit your needs, movtivational support and a friendly enviornment where you always feel welcomed. I have been at Melt for 4 years now. The trainers are incredibly supportive and motivating. They always modify the workout as needed if you have any injuries or limitations. They offer several different types of workouts and consistently change the programming so you never get bored and always get the most out of your workouts. And they truly care about their clients - while I was battling cancer and was forced to put my membership on hold, the owner, trainers and staff were constantly reaching out to offer support. I can't say enough good things about Melt!!

I must say that I LOVE being a part of the MELT family. Iβve done many different programs over the years; various Beachbody programs, BBG, etc. Although I enjoyed the at home work outs, I definitely enjoy MELT so much more! I started MELT mainly for my boyfriend because he needed structure. I was planning to only do the 30 day promo and then quit once he developed a routine but now I canβt imagine quitting and going back to my at home work outs. When I first started, I was in physical therapy for an injury so I was a bit worried about how Iβd do in class but every exercise can be modified so I didnβt feel like I was missing out.
The workouts change every 3 weeks which keeps you from getting bored and it gives you a chance to improve week by week. The coaches are motivating, caring, and non-judgmental. Plus you can tell that they really enjoy what they do! They offer nutrition classes, fun events, and they have InBody to help keep track of your progress. I can keep saying how awesome this place is or you can just go and find out for yourself!

I started at m.e.l.t. a few months ago, and the gym has completely changed my life. M.e.l.t. goes above and beyond just offering a workout. The owner and staff work to change your entire lifestyle. They post positive and informational content on social media that gets you motivated each and every day. Would highly recommend this gym. Definitely worth it.

Have been going to MELT for 1 week now - experience thus far has been excellent. Atmosphere is friendly, very team oriented and positive. Have only attended the large group sessions, which follow an interval format i.e. multiple stations with 45s on/15s recovery/3 reps etc. The trainers work with you to ensure correct form throughout each exercise and motivate you to push yourself harder. A challenging workout, and all in 30 minutes!

One of the best gyms I've been to, great workout classes, amazing trainers, and great environment. No judgement zone here and the trainers are always encouraging you to achieve your absolute max. One 40 mins class is equivalent to a good two hours workout by yourself. Highly recommend for someone who's got a busy schedule but still want to take care of their body and loose weight.

I started going here within the last month on recommendation from a friend. I'm doing this to get into shape to participate in a Tough Mudder. It's a good thing I am, I didn't realize how out of shape I was. They do not have Nautilus equipment, but instead use bands, exercise balls, dumb bells and pull up bars, etc. I am doing the M30 large group personal training, which could have up to 25 people but rarely have more than 15 when I go. The trainers are very friendly and helpful. They provide good motivation during class as well as answer any questions you may have. The greeters are friendly and call you by your first name. I would recommend this to anyone interested in getting into shape or just wanting a healthier lifestyle.

Are you ready to have a blast while blasting fat, getting stronger, making friends, and feeling fantastic inside and out? If so, this is the gym for you. I am a working mother of three, and I can always make time for my 25 minute MELT workouts. The classes are convenient, fun, challenging, and upbeat. The instructors are all fitness experts and very motivational. Aaron, Andy, Mary and Joe are amazing instructors! The classes are appropriate for ALL fitness levels and all ages. Also, if you have an injury, the instructors will modify an exercise for your ability. The atmosphere at MELT is very friendly, including fellow members, the instructors, and the owner Joe. I have also signed up my three children for the child/adolescent classes when they are offered. My kids also really enjoy the fitness experience offered. Give it a try...after just one class I was a believer in the MELT philosophy (More Energy Less Time), but also a believer in myself, which is a win in my book!

Melt South Windsor is a great workout experience. My girlfriend purchased a 3 week Groupon last month and once that wrapped up we ended up signing up for a full time membership. Prior to joining Melt, I had dropped 35 lbs over the last 6 months, but found that I needed to tone up. However, I've never been too keen on going to the gym. I always find myself lacking direction and motivation or not having the time. Well Melt gives you a quick and efficient workout experience unlike anything I've had before. It's much easier to push yourself to that next level when you have a structure in place and a support system of trainers who can cater the workouts to your individual needs and/or level of ability. Aaron, Andy, and Mary have all proven to be great leaders and foster a very inclusive environment that makes it feel like you are working together with all of the melters at a given session. After 5-6 weeks I'm already seeing more definition in my arms and am continuing to get stronger with each passing session. I'd recommend this program highly to anybody looking to get in shape without having to commit a ton of time each week. Overall, Melt takes your negative thoughts towards working out and flips them on their head in 30 intense minutes.

I tried a few different things before joining M.E.L.T. - I joined cheap gyms and never went, attempted to take spin classes, and stuck to cardio machines that didn't seem to do anything. Then I bought a LivingSocial deal to M.E.L.T. and I haven't looked back since...
Having been a M.E.L.T. member for over a year, I can honestly say I am for the first time never bored (with my workouts). This is the ONLY thing that I've been able to stick with, and the only thing that allows me to constantly see results.
Even though I've been going regularly for so long, I am still bright red, out of breath, and sore every day. The coaches are amazing and will always modify exercises (making them harder if you aren't sweating enough, or easier if you have an injury).
The M.E.L.T. experience fits in perfectly with my busy schedule (and I've even picked up a few exercises that I take on the road with me); I couldn't imagine not going there. I highly recommend M.E.L.T. to anyone who is looking to get in shape or who wants to maintain their current fitness level, as well as anyone who wants to try something new. You'll be hooked!

I will start with the results. Where to begin....I will start with I have lost 37lbs(Update 43 now). I can fit into slim jeans. I haven't been able to wear anything but loose fit since middle school. My physical endurance has gone through the roof and my body looks better than it has in over a decade. Last but not least by any means, I don't mind taking my shirt off anymore! There are so many great things about MELT. I love the social events, themed boot camp and warrior training. But most of all the people are great. That's what makes MELT so different, the community. It starts with the trainers. Their attitudes and beliefs clearly trickle down to the M.e.l.t. Community.
The classes are always a blast and never the same twice. The leveling system they use for each exercise makes it easy for anyone of any fitness level to get start and succeed. I highly recommend MELT to anyone serious about their health and physical fitness.

MELT really ROCKS!!! MELT has changed my life, MELT is a way of life in my household. We love going to MELT six times a week. The workouts seem simple but they kick your butt once you start doing them. The trainers, Aaron, Joe, Craig, and Barb bring it to a different level everytime. There is no slacking here, they challenge you on things that you never thought you could do. I have found muscles I never new existed in my body. Joe and Aaron have been very helpful to me and my husband in giving us nutrition tips. I have been a member for over a year and I have lost 32 lbs, and at least 9 sizes from size 15 pants to size 6. I love the way I feel, and I have been told that I look younger.
Ray and I also love Warior Training on Wednesday nights!!!!

I have been a member of "Melt" for about a year now. I left my big box gym searching for something else... and I found it at "Melt". You work hard, something different every day, the trainers know and motivate you and you enjoy getting your butt kicked with the friends you have made there. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to work out in a shorter time frame yet acheive results.

One year ago I joined MELT and it's definitely one of the best decisions I ever made. I've been to many, many gyms in the past and never felt like I was getting it right. I hated just running on the treadmill or the eliptical machine; it was so boring! What I really wanted to do was the weights, but I was so intimidated by the other people that were "over there in THAT section." So once a friend told me about MELT and how much she loved it, I thought I'd give it a try....and the rest is history! Some of the best things about MELT: the trainers are amazing, the workouts are different every time, the intensity, that it's only 30 minutes (so you totally CAN work it into your schedule) and the fact that the environment is such that nobody feels better than anybody else or that there's any kind of competition! I am definitely in way better shape now than I ever have been before! I'm stronger and more confident in myself and healthier! You've got nothing to lose by coming in and giving it a shot! You won't regret it!

As a busy person with kids, squeezing 30 minutes into my day to improve my health is a no brainer. The team at MELT does an awesome job improving my fitness level and pushing me to achieve more. When I started I was severely overweight, all of the exercises are able to be at each persons fitness level and made me feel good about myself. Now I am over 30 pounds lighter and have a great group of fitness friends that inspire me. The workouts are forever changing and my body is still discovering new muscles after 9 months of working out! This place is amazing and the trainers genuinely care about you and your health. This place is great! I am down over 25lbs since the 1st week of June 2012. All of the trainers are excellent and really create a personalized environment for everyone. For example, they make it a point to learn your name and your background to give you the best training possible. I highly reccomend this place to everyone, at least give it the free one week trial to find out that you will enjoy it, and you will see results.

No judgement gym, in South Windsor, like no other. Just a good workout customized for YOU. Instuctors are great and change up the exercises so you don't get bored.
I love that I can get a workout done in a half-hour! Being a single mom this is something I can do for me and not feel guility. Works nicely into my schedule as they have classes later at night for people who work during the day.
I've run out of excuses for not going to the gym and honestly I'm glad. I enjoy the workouts.

I hate gyms. I've always found them uninspiring, intimidating, and pretentious. After years of wasted money and time at various gyms in the Hartford area, I decided to try that "x"-tremely popular at-home dvd workout system. I broke a sweat and lost a few pounds, sure. But after a few months, I was too familiar with the routine, which made it very difficult to motivate myself to "push play".
Then I discovered M.E.L.T. Fitness Studio. This place has all the elements of a great workout environment:

I highly recommend MELT because you get an incredible workout for your whole body in 30 minutes. When you are there working out you feel like you have a personal trainer there with you the whole time making sure that you have the correct form so that you are not injured. I've been M.E.L.T. ing for 9 months now. I did the Groupon try and completely fell in love w/the work outs. I don't have time to waste at a gym and this is "PERFECT" for me. The trainers are wicked cool and extremely helpful. I love it so much that I raved to my teenage son and he's started attending w/me. I've been going to M.E.L.T. in Harwinton for almost a year and absolutely love it! I tried other boot camps but they didn't offer the welcoming atmosphere like you get at M.E.L.T. The trainers are there to help and encourage you. They will modify exercises to meet individual needs so you never feel that you can't do something or that you're not challenged. i love that it's just 30 minutes for such an awesome workout!

I belonged to a gym where I was wondering around and trying to figure out what to do. I could have spent more money getting a trainer that would work with me a couple times a week. Then in April of this year a friend invited me to a workout at MELT. I was unsure I could survive that type of workout and figured if I couldn't then I wouldn't have to go back.
I barely survived the first workout but thought I would give the free week a try. Well I am hooked, I really enjoy it because the workouts are only 30 minutes and each workout is different. The trainers know your name, you feel like a real person and they push you out of your comfort zone. You workout with people of all different fitness levels and it is a non-judgmental group.
So I quit the gym and joined MELT.

This fitness studio is the best! They are very knowledgable, stay current with fitness trends while remaining true to their model and philosophy, while also knowing their clients as individual people and helping them out with anything they may need for their own health and fitness goals. A business focused on wellness for individuals, not just money making! This is also probably the only workout I can think of and I have tried many having a background in health and fitness that is appealing and challenging to ANY individual. A man or woman, a teen or an older adult, a beginner or experienced exerciser! A must try, you will love it!
