Terrible customer service once they take your money for membership. I signed up Monday and started Tuesday. This was my first time in this gym in over 15 years and all I did was ask if someone can show me the proper settings for the machines that I wanted to use. Having 2 back surgeries and knee surgery, I didn’t want to injure myself. The older guy working at the desk was very willing to help, but he honestly didn’t know what he was doing and shared the manager will be in in 5 minutes. The manager came in and I shared I’ll give him time to get settled in but the older gentleman went right to him so he can assist me. To my surprise, the manager gave me a quite a bit of attitude and pointed to the machine and said, “use the yellow handle.” I let him know I was afraid of hurting myself and I just needed him to show me the correct settings for height. He became very aggressive telling me he’s not a personal trainer and they don’t have that service in that facility. I was appalled by his lack of customer service and the attitude behind it. I told him I wanted to cancel my membership for his lack of customer service and he had no problem doing so, so he said. I asked for a print out of the cancellation and he said there was no print out to give that I was just canceled. After I left, I called back to see how long it will take to get my money refunded back to my credit card and he said he didn’t know he had to look into it. Again, he was very unconcerned. I will never step foot in this location ever again. I don’t know if the treatment was me being an Afro American female or the fact that he was having a bad day. Totally unacceptable.!!!

Poor customer service. I called to cancel my membership then proceeded to be charged for multiple months following. They were unable to come to any resolution or refund me for the time that I assumed my membership was canceled. Untrustworthy staff. Will not be returning or recommending.

I've been a member for about 2 months. This place is pretty good. Only issue is getting into the parking lot but that isn't their fault. Got a lot of different machines and weights and treadmills. Clean too

Working out at Physique Plus has given me a sense of accomplishment that I haven’t found at any other gym. Between the considerate staff, kind and watchful members, and great management, I truly believe that working out at Physique Plus is unlike any other experience you’ve had at another gym. Not only is it important for a gym to have a good weightlifting environment, but it’s important to make you feel as though you’re welcome, which Physique and it’s staff has done time and time again, every time I walk through the front doors.

Their membership is expensive and that’s fine…. Great equipment and all but if you guys want to charge professional gym prices than I believe they should be open professional gym hours… 7:30AM is to late for a morning work out period…if that’s the case than your better off going to plant fitness and just spending 20$ instead of the 50$ here…. Over all tho staff is great and equipment as well but lets make it make sense you can’t have short open hour and high prices

This nice gym physical by the looks may have to reeled in like fish but don’t let it get twisted you’ll find out when you get to that counter the real gym first I want to say I was planning on signing up now longer do due to the skinny tall long black curly hair dude ruined it I get all my. Info done to sign up for the day to get a nice feel of gym as every gym usually offer free day pass which this gym does to I get the pass just for the dude I described to ask me to pay for the free day pass 8.50$ mins u I don’t care bout 8:50 but I’m not paying for a free pass I think he just wants some extra commission which is corny cuz it’s probly like 10% but for future reference have a inviting persona the first dude I encounter who got my pass all set was nice helpful informative and should be the manger over whatever the mat angry dude was

It's ok. I like the fact that they have the family plan. I don't love the workout equipment. I also don't feel that there's a lot of space to be out of the way for an ab workout and other such things. Everyone can see you everywhere. But it's a good gym, that's only my personal opinion.

Been a member at this gym for over 2 years. Physique is my main gym and sometimes I’ll go over to their partner Fitness Express down the road if I’m trying to workout after hours. Overall it’s a very clean gym with tons of equipment. Almost too much equipment to be honest. It’s very tight when trying to use the squat racks for deadlifts.

This gym is definitely geared more towards lifting aside from classes which I have never taken. Unless you get to the gym when there are no classes going on there is no area to do functional training or stretching. They could really benefit from adding kettlebells and a fake turf area but with all the equipment they have jammed in the gym there just isn’t any room for that. That’s the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars. I feel like they could easily get rid of a bunch of equipment (2nd floor especially) that never gets used and make some room for functional training .

Aside from that the gym is great and it’s never super busy unless you go around rush hour at 4-5pm.

Awesome gym! Never too crowded, even on a January weekday from 4 - 6 PM. I don't do any of the classes, just use the weight room. Never have problems getting the squat rack or bench. They have everything you need.

My first gym membership ever and 7 years later I am still here! The owner Shawn, Jay, Dana, and the rest of the staff have always accommodated me and the atmosphere is one of a kind and far unique from other chain gyms around Connecticut. The facility is up to date and always clean, the members here are consistent and courteous, and overall it's a totally non-threatening environment compared to gyms where you might feel unwelcome for not being on a certain level of "fitness". Everyone is always welcoming and the local members are friendly enough to motivate you to keep on "showing up".

I love Physique! They have all new cardio equipment, beautiful locker rooms, and a Kid's Club so that you can bring your children and still get a workout in! My favorite thing about this gym is that they make changes and updates to classes/equipment etc. quite frequently.
