I had a horrible experience, i joined a few months ago and the worst thing that has happened to me was when i was going into a WOMENS Bathroom and a boy who looked to be about the age of 10-11 came in demanding inappropriate stuff! Which was horrifying to say the least. I dont know where the boys guardian was but this cannot keep happening. I ask you to please get this under control as soon as possible. Not to mention this was playing around with the equipment all over the gym. This is not a playground and it is a place for adults.

I understand the gym is for every1 BUT WHY is there an 11 yr old CHILD in the gym? He was brought in by his parents and is using equipment? His parents, who were NOT supervising him whatsoever, gave me nasty looks despite my conern for the child's small stature in using gym equipment correctly. Plz management, b4 this child gets injured, DO something. His parents obviously do not care and I KNOW this is not PF policy to allow this.
And in response to PF, thanks for reminding of a policy I am already aware of instead of actually showing concern, reporting thus to the facility manager, and having them verify the age. I believe u will find my concerns show u this child is NOT 13 yrs old but in fact 11.

It was good at first but this family keeps coming with a kid who looks wayyyy too young to be in the gym and he goes on all the gym equipment like it’s a jungle gym. I had only 1 hour to workout and get out because of my schedule I only got to go on the treadmills everything else the kid would be hopping about on.

I like planet fitness but the bars that the weight plates ride on must be oiled weekly, the weights don’t slide easily they stick. Even if the machines are counter balanced, they should be smooth.

It's always clean and there's plenty of equipment, so that's great. There's very little floor space or room for stretching/warming up. The biggest issue though is that it's always so LOUD. Why the music needs to be blasting so loud you can hear it through headphones is beyond me. A little background noise is expected, but you're essentially forced to listen to whatever they have playing. It's impossible to watch a show while walking on the treadmill or listen to your own music, even if you have your headphones at max volume.

Planet Fitness staff in Dayville are so wonderful. They always greet with me a smile, support and encouragement. Today a staff member went above and beyond to help demonstrate safely how to use the smith machine so I could accomplish something new on my workout plan.
What she didn’t know was I had spent my last workout crying and insecure the whole time because I was scared! But with her help and enthusiasm, I felt secure, normal, and empowered to reach my goals. I am so grateful to the Planet Fitness team in Dayville ♥️💪🏻

My account was manually set up in 2020. Recently there’s been a problem with my account and a staff member said they will fix the issue. The staff members that are aware of the issue weren’t here today. So I asked the staff members that are working tonight if the issue was resolved. Dillon (PF Staff member), started to catch up a rude toned attitude with me. Also, he stated that it would be impossible for a staff member to set up my billing account when I vividly remember staff member setting up my account. I tried being nice about it, but his attitude was very rude and dismissive. All he had to do was be respectful. Before signing up here, I would strongly suggest making a home gym elsewhere. This incident definitely will make me switch gyms to the Webster location.

It’s hard as a single mom to find the time to fit into my work schedule. Hell, even if they just opened at 3/4am I wouldn’t mind them not being 24/7 just so I can work out in the morning before work so I can spend my afternoons with my children.

Dayville Planet Fitness has been welcoming and understanding of the extra assistance I have needed. they even went above and beyond by retrieving a special tredmill for my use. I am certain others make use of it as well. But before my arrival all the tredmills were touch-screen only. As a blind person I found them very difficult to interact with. The one issue I have is I would love to have further assistance from a physical trainer to get back into shape.

I usually have great experience at a this location, with every one minding their business, and a very nice staff. However with election around the corner this place has become so political, If you’re gonna force me to watch the news while I’m working out be sure to do it unbiased. Went there the news channels were only favoring one political party, you have people with different political opinions you don’t want your customers who might be another political party feel unwelcome or intimidated in a place where they pay monthly subscription to work out. Planet fitness Dayville do better, be unbiased. If you’re going to have news channels at the gym make sure it reflects diverse perspectives not only your supported party. Truly disappointed, I thought this was a welcoming place.

Ive been a members at pf for 8 years starting my membership at staffford st in Worcester ma.
Then Webster. And all had great experiences Now dayvill and let me tell you. The people in Dayville are great!!!!! How ever.
The price I pay for basic gym equipment and a basic gym is not worth it.
They just got and update on a red light tanning bed and you cant even get lucky enough to use it because god for it these townies get anything new it’s never open for use! They don’t have the whole body pre work out vibration machine they’re more focused on updating the walls than they are the equipment which don’t get me. Wrong appearance is appreciated so isn’t working equipment! My last check in was may 12th I’ve never been so turned off in 8years because the lack of equipment. And driving 45 mins to another of I just can’t do. So I will be letting my
Membership expire sadly like I said, has nothing to do with the staff because they are all excellent. It has everything to do with the lack of equipment paying black card prices with basic equipment.

Pretty good Planet Fitness. The staff is friendly and it’s very clean most of the time. It can get busy sometimes and hard to access some equipment but it’s not the worst PF location I’ve been to. It’s a big gym but unfortunately the use of the space is not the most efficient so a small part of the gym (benches etc.) gets very crowded whereas a big portion of the area is almost completely empty.

Each time I'm slowly getting ready for the gym, I start to move a little quicker once I remember that I get to see Kim, Todd and Gill's smiling faces as soon as I get there. I have been a member since day 1 in Dayville and over the years there has been many changes and people have came and gone. 6 months ago I had to freeze my account due to some medical issues and in coming back had some problems with my account. I came in to talk to the manager Todd, and immediately made me feel comfortable and willing to help me any way he could, and he did. He then showed me the added features to the gym since I have been there and what’s been happening in the Dayville branch. It looks absolutely amazing and so clean and the staff looked happy and very friendly. That to me says wonders about the manager. A good well liked, well team player who can make not just customers happy and satisfied but his staff too makes a great employee and manager, they are very lucky to have him!
Thank you planet fitness Dayville I’m excited to be back!

Dropping my rating given the current state of renovations I was told are done. Seriously? Tape all over the walls, cardboard covering unfinished thresholds, terrible grout job in showers with grout left all over the tile, and they didn't even replace the shower hardware which is falling off and doesn't even work properly. Please tell me this is not the finished product because it's worse then it was before other than the new paint and wallpaper.

This Planet Fitness is by far my favorite location! The environment is so welcoming, the staff are approachable and very knowledgeable. They are constantly looking for ways to improve, the equipment is top notch!👌🏼 It is definitely the cleanest gym I've ever been to, which is surprising considering the amount of members. The men’s locker room has got to be the most disgusting place I’ve ever visited. Its constantly bad, blackened dried up gum litters the floor, there is never any hand soap, the ground near the urinals soaked in piss, broken benches that will make you fall down if your not careful, rusty delaminating shower knobs, crusty soap stained shower stalls with pubic hair strewn about, protein power looks like somebody Lebron’s it. Poor excuse of a gym. And yes in case you were wondering that is a urinal cake on the floor where people get changed.

After Covid, I discovered I needed to attend to my strength and balance.
I sought the expertise of 4 area facilities and was extremely disappointed.
Upon walking through the door of this facility, I was immediately greeted, offered open discussion of my needs for rehabilitation equipment returning to my routine.
Not only did I receive the best of welcoming, kindness, nonjudgmental freedom to question relentlessly, as I analyze every little detail, I was offered promotional offers, which were never suggested at previous facilities. One facility apologized and retracted an agreed upon offer to my company negating any reasonable offer for membership.
A thorough guided tour of the facility with introduction to more advanced equipment to meet my needs, and complete review of operation of such, with the pleasant calmness of expertise.
Needless to say, I found my new physical rehabilitation/maintenance home.

Employees were rude and we’re laughing at me when because I put $1 down and thought it was a free trial for a month so when I went with my buddy as a guest they told me i had to pay $50! Because I didn’t cancel my membership that was no contract and obligation free. For the love of god, don't get a membership here.

You might have gone to check it out and thought, "Hey, this looks kinda nice. It's a convenient distance from my home, the facilities are well-maintained, and the workers are friendly," and all of those things may be true. They aren't worth it.

Trying to cancel your membership is a *nightmare*.

If you're assuming you'll never need to cancel, consider: is it possible you'll ever move out of state? Is it possible you'll find another, cheaper way to exercise? Is it possible you'll be injured and need time to recuperate without wanting to pay for a gym membership you cannot use?

For context, I moved away from easy driving distance in late 2020. I jumped through all the gajillion hoops needed to confirm cancellation. Drove down to the gym, had the good ol' face-to-face, filled out some kind of paperwork, and went on my merry way.

This morning, after noticing a charge from Planet Fitness pop up in my transaction history, I called to find out what was going on. Not only was there "no record of [my] having cancelled," but they were unable to process a refund.

"Oh, you haven't lived here for almost two years? Ooooh, that stinks. You filled out paperwork here? Ooooh, all our records are electronic and we don't have your cancellation saved here. Shame. Well, you can cancel now, if you want to?"

Yes. Yes I did want to. Now to wait for next month, when I no doubt will get to call in to dispute ANOTHER charge, and be told, "Oh, sorry. We don't have a record of that. You can cancel now, if you want to."

Just . . . save yourself the headache, and don't sign up for this gym.

Pandemic hit they froze the accounts, when they felt it was good for them they open up send a email so they say and start taking your money Again so if you haven’t been there since June 2020 they are still taking your money no phone call asking if you were coming back the regional manager was not even worth speaking to because she was just plan out rude . This is robbery I have never heard of anything like this. I live in the area so I’ll be sure to point them in a different direction for a gym
